There’s coyote trouble in the canyon. One coyote, to be specific. A male. He’s been creating havoc in the small rural community of Pine Valley — enough havoc it’s time to call in the Feds.

Life is about to get interesting in Pine Valley…

A twisted love story.

That’s the one phrase that just popped into my head when I started writing this review. It was a pretty short story but one I loved. The characters were different. I liked the fact that there was a past or a back story that hung over this whole story and the passion burned hot between Greg and Kinsey.

I felt the characters shined though more than the plot itself. The author did a good job of writing it but I felt that this story could do well written as a series though I couldn’t find other books in this series by this author. My reason for saying that is that the back story was heavy. I kept wondering half way through if there is a first book? Or is this the first one? It felt like I’d jumped right in the middle of the book. It wasn’t until I did a search for SOS Multi-author that I found that there are actually several books by different authors with this special division (SOS or Special Outreach Services) of the US Game & Wildlife as a running theme.

That being said I loved reading about Greg and his former lover turned agent interactions… it was breath of fresh air from the normal I hate you turned but I love you trope. ( You know, the stories where the main characters first hate each other than fall in love… Coyote Games is one of them.) There’s action, suspense hot steamy romance between the characters and a mystery that needs solving.

It’s a quick read and great for when a reader is looking for a hot love story but doesn’t have time for a lengthy novel.

The wedding singer nearly chokes to death on a glass of water, and then Ivy’s sister finds something unexpected in the parking lot.

And that’s not all. Something odd is going on in the sleepy little town of Martha’s Point — for some reason, no female under the age of fifty can keep her hands off Ivy’s boyfriend. Ivy’s little shop enjoys a tremendous increase in business as those women keep running in to buy more new sexy lingerie, but her heart is anything but happy.

Ivy Morris owns her own shop in the sleepy town of Martha’s Point. She’s still a little new to the area but already managed to earn the reputation as a trouble-making outsider by the townspeople, except by those she’s helped. However, on the day of her father and stepmother’s wedding, a death occurs and she’s once again plunged into a murder mystery. If that wasn’t enough, she realizes that there’s something fishy going on with the females in this town. They have been jumping on her boyfriend left and right.

The story had a main plot and a sub plot that had me reaching for the book at every chance to find the whys and hows and see how Ivy gets out of this latest scrape. I got the impression it was more of a romantic mystery but it had enough comedic elements to keep it from going down a dark mystery direction.

Ivy wants to fit in the town and be called one of them rather than still being known as as an out-of-towner. So when the murder is discovered, she tries to stay out of it but circumstances do not allow her to do that.

Something Old, Something Dead is not shown as a series in Goodreads but it’s definitely part of a series. Actually, it’s the fourth book in the Ivy Morris mysteries. The first one was Poison Ivy. For readers who like reading the stories from the start to finish this may become slight problem but, this one could also be enjoyed as a separate cozy mystery. A satisfying mystery with a good dose of comedy. This one is an easy recommend.

When Camille volunteers for the youth outreach program in the small town of Prosperity little does she know that she has put herself in harm’s way. Sheriff Griffin, the program leader, and his son, Grant, lord over an empire of criminal activities ranging from – illegal drugs, robbery, murder, political corruption and pornography. In short order, Grant becomes Camille’s lover and introduces her to life as a recreational drug user. After Camille weathers a brutal beating by Grant’s disapproving Dad, she turns to her newly-widowed, fiery friend Jennifer for help. What can two downtrodden women do to rid a tortured town of its misogynistic Machiavellian sheriff and malevolent mayor?Plenty.

Plenty, the powerful feminist flip side of Fifty Shades of Grey, captivates as a spine-tingling suspense novel about the risky yet all-important road to self-actualization and happiness in spite of a horrible family situation and consequential bad decisions. The dark side of sex kitten training will prove jarring to some readers, but others will see how evil insidiously manifests itself in the lives of injured souls – especially trafficked teens. As in life, a dysfunctional childhood, sets the stage for victimization, while violence and heroin, create the craving to please – all represent tools of the trade to control and peddle young women. Plenty holds special appeal for resilient, smart, resourceful women who rescue themselves and the men who love them. Plenty infused with spice, a lot of naughty-never nice. Not for the faint of heart or for those looking for a tame, sleepy time story. Written by a long-time James Bond enthusiast, action-packed Plenty jets along at a jolting 007 pace.

I spent a couple of days after I finished the the book thinking about how I was going to write this review.

Any review as well showed this sociable tension is now canada cialis levitra as well the best place to buy such pills is online. What is Propecia?Generic Propecia, viagra generic uk like the brand-name version, contains Finasteride. Alopecia areata presents as focal discoid patches of hair loss, and hair transplant surgery — first devised buy cialis usa in 1939 Japan — has become more aesthetically convincing and effective. Despite its marketing, this was nothing like the FSOG trilogy. It was a lot better.

Plenty…the name itself is strange but after reading the story I think it suits the plot.  The one thing I have to add is that I loved how the author gave names to each chapter. Some of the names were a little quirky but very understandable once you read it.

That being said, I think potential readers should be warned this story is not a soft or easy read. It delves deep in to the mind of a druggie trying to make a better life for herself. This is a hardcore story and not for the faint of heart. I had to read it in two sittings since I was crying so much I couldn’t see the screen.

Camille loves her grandma a lot. More than her parents. The book starts in the present but every now and then shifts into the future and this  really added to the story. It happens seamlessly and not too frequently.

I really loved that Camille does fall off the deep end when she meets Grant and starts going out with him. The situation quickly goes from bad to worse.  Although this is a fiction story, it draws from real life.  People in fact do use drugs and do go off the deep end when they allow themselves to be coerced by mates or friends or lovers. This makes this story so real and helped me feel for these characters.

The author did a great job weaving the story together. There were some grammatical mistakes which took some effort for me to ignore, which was a shame since the story is so solid. But the satisfying end made it all worthwhile.

Camille goes through a lot of bad but comes out stronger and with family and friends that stick around for everything.

If you love erotic romance with a side of mystery, this might be the book for you.

It’s a ménage with a very suspenseful mystery. I found the story portrayed the characters very well and the writing was good enough that it plunged me into their world enough to fall in love with the characters.

The plot and the characters shone through and that is sometimes difficult for me to say about an erotic novel. Why? In many books, the erotic writing and the sex scenes tend to overshadow everything, but in Strength of Arms there was passion, chemistry and sex that worked and a strong story. The main plot offset the amount of heat that these three characters gave off and it was a good balance.

Strength of Arms is perfect for readers who love erotic stories with a little bit of something else as well.

Rumors had circulated for years in the Lexington area about horse breeders Brett, Colin and Donovan McGilley, especially about the activities that went on above their popular night club, Casey’s. Kayla Holden was at Casey’s to celebrate her twenty-sixth birthday and in the mood to do something wild and crazy and what could be wilder and crazier than enticing sexy, older Brett McGilley into inviting her upstairs for an up close and personal look at the sexual activities she had heard so much about. Even though Brett was attracted to Kayla, his taste for spanking and exhibitionism was not for someone so young and inexperienced. But Brett had no idea just how determined Kayla was to not only explore his sexual kinks, but to do so only with him.

Colin McGilley had fallen for his best friend’s wife, Olivia Hammond, the moment he met her and when Doug asked him to help gift her with a ménage on her birthday, he couldn’t resist. The next three years, Colin carried the guilt of Doug’s sudden death that next day while Olivia struggled with grief. But Olivia’s need to find another Master to give her what she so badly craved sent her to Colin, this time asking more from him than friendship.

Donovan McGilley has struggled with his quick temper ever since his rescue from the Iraqi’s seven years ago, his worry over preferring rough sex keeping him from seeking a relationship outside of the few women who liked sex hard and usually with two men at their private club. But when veterinarian, Anna Kingston saves one of his beloved mares and he see signs of abuse on her body, he simply couldn’t turn her down when she approaches him to explore the sexual fantasies that had led to ending her marriage.

Meet the McGilley Brothers who like their sex kinky and on their terms, but try to do the right thing by turning down the women brave enough to take them on. Women who refuse to take no for an answer.

The story is a very cleverly written in the way that it tells the love story of the three brothers all in a single book. It took some time for the main plot to really develop but then it takes center stage in the third brother, Donovan’s, story. This trilogy had a little bit of a suspense feel to it but not enough to be categorized as one.

All three brothers are different in style and what they like, though their love for horses is one thing that is common between them. Each brothers has their own conflict to resolve within the book.

Brett is attracted to a woman half his age. But with a failed marriage under his belt he does not want subject an ‘innocent’ to his brand of kink or sex. However, Kayla is not willing to take no for an answer.

Colin is a Dom who is in love with his departed best friend’s wife who happens to be be a submissive. After years mourning for her husband and Dom she wants to get back into the scene. She wants a Dom. But not just any Dom, she wants Colin. But Colin has guilt that could break apart their relationship and Olivia as well. Colin’s relationship with Olivia was at first complicated to understand. His guilt over something that happened was understandable but it conflicted with his desire for Olivia. It was obvious early on to this reader how he truly felt about Olivia, even though she couldn’t see it. Not at first. It was wonderful to see their relationship evolve from acquaintances to lovers

When Donovan meets red-headed vet Anna, he knows that Anna has suffered abuse. He also feels something for her that he thought he never could. Together they learn to live and love. It was enlightening to see Donovan help Anna get over the abuse. Their relationship was fiery from the first scene. Donovan likes a lot harder sex than what a lot of females are willing to give. But in Anna he finds compatible in every possible way imaginable.

All three of these couples are so different but their chemistry was hot and spicy readers who enjoy a little more hardcore erotic romance should definitely give The McGilley Trilogy a read.

Zach’s Rebound Girl was a classic romance in the first part of the story. It took some time for the mystery and the suspense elements to come to light. Actually, the mystery and the suspense elements were practically non-existent in the first part of the story. When it did come to light, the development was slow at first and then it took off. It kept me on the edge till the end.

Maddison was a nerd in college who had a crush on her best friend that secretly turned into love over time. Zachary always had a special place in his heart for Maddison. After college he has a successful business but he wants his best friend back. Maddison is a renovator in a television show. Zach and Maddison parted on less than amicable terms when they were in university. When Zach left without informing Maddison, it hurt her beyond anything. She wants Zach in her life not as a best friend but as a lover, a partner. Will they be able to get past their insecurities and secrets to commit on a forever after?

Both of the main characters, when they meet after years apart, have a lot of chemistry and passion between them. I could see it even if they couldn’t right away. That also played a big part in keeping them apart until they start to really communicate. One other thing I loved about these characters was, even after years without really seeing or talking to each other they knew and understand each other, as well as believed that both of them has changed somewhat in those years apart.

This is a book for the romance lovers who love a little bit of mystery and suspense added to it.

Second Chance Summer is the first book in the series. The background of this plot is interesting and very well written. The past plays a very important role in this story and this past isn’t revealed completely in the first page or even the first chapter. It is revealed in sections throughout the first part of the book and that is what kept me hooked.

Aiden has always regretted not stopping Lily when she was hell bent on leaving everything familiar when tragedy stuck. But the return of Lily after ten years puts his heart at jeopardy. Will he risk his heart again to get back the love of his life? If he does, it won’t be an easy journey. For any of them.

Lily and Aiden have a lot of hot sizzling chemistry but it is going to take a lot of work for their relationship to heal and rebuild. Jill Shalvis did a wonderful job in not only building a plot but also building all the characters with their own personality so that every aspect and every part of this story kept me interested and wanting to read it.

Throughout the story what was evident was that Lily loves Aiden. But ten years before something happened that made her leave her hometown and break her relationship with Aiden. The first part of the story kept me asking why and how she left and when I did find out everything what kept me reading was “will she leave again?” Will they be a couple again? I got the answers and more.

Besides the main character the secondary characters plays their own important parts and I believe these characters would be the reason for me to read the next book in these series.

Second Chance Summer is not only a contemporary romance but is also a story that goes deep into human emotions and actions. This one is an easy recommend for readers who love their heroes flawed and little on the naughty side and their heroines determined to resist, even when it’s futile. A fantastic read!
