Dying is hard enough. Coming back to life is brutal.

Grimm’s Circle, Book 5

Vanya has been hunting and killing demons ever since one of them scarred her face and killed her sister. Correction—since she was forced to kill the demon possessing her sister.

Then some sort of angel offers her a deal she can’t refuse—that if she becomes one of them, she gets to kill even more demons. Tonight, she’s made that choice. The death she smells on the air will be her own—and she welcomes it.

Silence feels a darkness is looming. Change—something he has every reason not to welcome. The deeply hidden memories that robbed him of his past, of his own name, render him unfit to teach anyone the ways of the Grimm. Yet here he is in the dankest sex club in town, waiting to assume his charge—after he stands by and watches her die.

When Vanya awakes, their complicated, dangerous dance begins. And so does something else—a searing need that blisters along their unexpected mental connection. Silence shouldn’t be drawn to his student, but once they touch, he can’t think of a reason to stop. Even though acting out their darkest desires puts them in more danger than they realize.

Shiloh Walker has once again added to her Grimm’s Circle series. I love this world, with its dark side, and its wonderful sense of honor and duty.

Vanya is a hunter, but not for the usual prey. She hunts and kills demons, like the one that possessed her sister. That was the first demon she killed, and she has the scars to show for it. But it wasn’t her last, and one day, she was made an offer to join with a group whose one goal is to stop demons from harming humans. Only one little thing with this offer: Vanya has to die to become one of the Grimm, but she is willing to do what it takes.

Silence doesn’t like change, but he feels it coming. As one of the Grimm, he spends every day stopping the demons roaming the streets. Each treating method has different cost and durability to cheap levitra be effective. You can also include other foods like eggs, Brazil nuts, oats, red meat, bananas, broccoli, onions, broccoli, oysters, button mushrooms, beetroots, pumpkin seeds, ginger, bacon, parsley, cayenne pepper, mangosteen, kefir, sauerkraut, viagra no prescription watermelon and kelp in your daily diet. A number of common neurological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and buying this cheap cialis strokes are a few that cause impotence, along with brain and spinal cord injuries Cavernosal disorders like Peyronie’s disease Psychological causes: stress, performance anxiety mental disorders (schizophrenia, substance abuse, depression, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder personality disorder to name a few) negative feelings and depression. Infertility was seen as only a female problem in earlier times, buy viagra online like it but as couples are opening up more, males are getting diagnosed with infertility at an alarming rate. When Will drops in to tell him he will be training the next Grimm, Silence is not sure he can do it. He has lost his past, his name, and even his voice in the centuries since he was human, and thinks Will is making a big mistake.

When Silence meets Vanya, the attraction is immediate, and once again he worries. How can he teach this woman, when he has no voice? But then the most intriguing thing happens-Vanya can hear his thoughts, and he can hear hers as well. For the first time in centuries, Silence can ‘talk’ to another person, but he also has to fight his growing need to make Vanya his in every way. Can Silence train Vanya in the ways of the Grimm? Will their growing attraction get in the way of their duty to protect? Or can these two find a way to be together and still carry out their mission?

The characters are, as ever, well crafted and multi-faceted people. The Grimm’s Circle series is fairy tales your mom never read to you, with the dark and gritty side of life coming through, and they are not for the faint of heart.

Vanya learned about demons when one possessed her sister, and she is determined to live the rest of her life eliminating every one she can. When Will offers her the chance to become one of the Grimm, a group of ‘guardian angels’ protecting the human race, she feels she has nothing to lose but her fragile life, and accepts. She is determined and strong, and ready to take her place as a Grimm. I liked watching Vanya grow into her new role, and enjoyed her interaction with her trainer, Silence.

Silence is not happy to be chosen to train Vanya, but he also knows that it is futile to refuse. He is strong and loyal, and yet vulnerable deep inside. He has been used and abused in his past, and has been robbed of his past, his name and even his voice. In spite of this, he is still on the side of good, and has spent his life as a Grimm tracking down the demons that threaten humanity. I liked watching as his heart and mind opened up to new possibilities with Vanya, and I enjoyed his delight and surprise as he found he could ‘speak’ with Vanya.

This is a story filled with edge of your seat action, scorching hot passion, and a couple of heart-rending moments to it. The journey that Vanya and Silence embark upon takes several intriguing twists and turns, and at times it seems like these two will never get along. As with all of the Grimm’s Circle books, one challenge was in trying to figure out what literary character was being depicted by Ms Walker’s characters, and this one was harder than most. I didn’t have a clue until near the end of the story, and then it was a wonderful surprise. There are a couple of things I recommend with this: tissues and lots of iced drinks.

The last straw? Her husband’s brother demands a meeting. When she charges into his office to tell him she won’t let another Grainger screw up her life, the startlingly handsome, former oil rig wildcatter goes for the jugular. He’s claimed legal guardianship of her daughter, bought her mortgage…and he’s moving in.

The final email Mac received from his suicidal brother blamed Leah for everything. If it’s the last thing he does, he plans to protect his niece. Even if it means using his millions to gain the upper hand. And hardening his heart against the beautiful Leah’s protests of innocence.

Yet something seems off. Leah is nothing like the uncaring woman his brother described. She’s warm, loving…and when a new threat to her child surfaces and she reaches out to him in need, his body won’t let him say no. Even when her last secret forces him to make a decision that exposes his most closely guarded possession. His heart.

Secrets and Seduction is an amazing heartfelt roller coaster ride with high octane lust, unexpected twists and turns, and a story book ending that makes you want to jump right off the ride and do it all over again.

Under the hot Auckland sun, two people are forced together to discover and heal from the past. Things are not what they seem. Lies, scheming and secrets are plentiful and the truth is a hard thing to find when it is buried under the weight of countless secrets. Sometimes the hardest thing to do in life is to follow your heart, consequences be damned, especially when the truth can be found in the loving eyes of a child.

There are two things that are important to Leah Grainger; her daughter and her land. After losing her husband, Leah has to work long and hard to make a life for them. It’s not like she had the love and support from her husband, quite the opposite, he was a cold heartless man who only had love for himself and no one else. Mac Grainger is a man with a simple mission. He is going to protect his niece Charlee, the last of his family. His childhood was a lonely sad existence. Mac is not going to allow his niece to be neglected and emotionally abused like he was. Mac sets his plans into motion to ensure her protection and safety, no matter the consequences to his sister-in-law, Leah, or even his heart.

Secrets and Seduction is a well written contemporary romance. The story was never predictable and tedious. Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen Ms. Beckenham shocked me with a different outcome. I did figure out a secret or two, but the way she revealed them was exceptional. The love scenes were sizzling and perfect in depiction. You felt the steam rising from the pages. She kept me enthralled and guessing the whole book, a significant quality in an author.

Secrets and Seduction is the type of story you want to read more about. I have no desire to imagine what happened to them, I need Ms. Beckenham to tell me. She wrote her characters beautifully and I want to know what she has in store for them, because whatever I can come up with, she will always top. This will be a permanent addition to my library and Jane Beckenham is now a must read author for me.

The long way home could be the shortest road to ruin.

The king of Scotland is in a snit. Which means Britt MacKinnon, proud captain of the king’s guard, has an onerous task: fetch Alexander’s favorite paramour back to the royal bed—now. Never mind that the crown should be about the business of getting a legitimate heir. Especially since England’s Edward I would love nothing more than to seize an empty Scottish throne.

When the handsome soldier appears on her doorstep, Geneen Armstrong has to think quickly. Her twin lies abed in her cottage, pregnant with the king’s bastard. If the barren queen learns the truth, the foolish girl’s life won’t be worth a farthing.

She must somehow transform her graceless, plain-spoken self into her vivacious, talented sister. Then, after the court is convinced she carries no child, use her herbal knowledge to sour the king’s taste for her sister’s company—for good.

By the time Britt realizes this unusually articulate, ungodly stubborn woman is the wrong woman, tendrils of attraction have already tightened into a bond. A bond that will be tested when the king’s unexpected death puts Scotland’s very destiny at stake—and unleashes an ever-tangling web of court intrigues, secrets…and lies.

This story is an interesting mix of honor and lust. Britt MacKinnon starts by trying to make the king honor his marriage vows (at least until there’s an heir) when the king prefers to give into lust. Britt is sent to fetch the king’s favorite mistress, Lady Greer Armstrong.

Greer has already giving into lust. Now she and sister Genny are trying to do the safe, yet dishonorable (or is it honorable?) thing of keeping the king from finding out about the resultant pregnancy. To save Greer and the child, Genny believes she is doing the honorable thing in pretending to be Greer. Honor vs dishonor. Sildenafil helps for calming of the penile muscles which enables a man to easily enjoy a great amount of intimate physical pleasure. viagra purchase no prescription To avoid such problems, online drug companies have invented many PDE5 inhibitors. view this link now commander cialis People have used many millions of dollars on these products help in improving cialis canadian the natural blood circulation within the body particularly those leading to the penile cavities. Lust vs fidelity. Britt striving to force honor and fidelity on his king by leading the king’s mistress astray. It’s a very interesting premise, further complicated by the king’s actions and the queen’s plans.

Britt and Genny’s relationship was initially a nice juxtaposition of a moral couple and a bunch of immoral couples in an immoral society. Unfortunately, it didn’t pan out. I became frustrated when Genny and Britt make the same mistakes as Greer and the king, proving that, despite being supposedly more honorable, they were no better than those they criticized.

There were some interesting plot twists that could have yielded a very intriguing story, but just when things should have heated up and become interesting, the complications resolved themselves. Any one of the dilemmas, if fully developed, could have resulted in a wonderful tension-rich book. All of them in a row, combined with the too easy, unrealistic resolutions, yielded something that was merely good.

Ms. Blair has the talent to paint wonderful scenes, set up interesting dilemmas, and create (at least initially) strong characters. The historical aspects of this book were wonderful, giving the reader a definite feel of time and place. I loved how Ms. Blair started each chapter with an old Scottish proverb.

Ms. Blair has wonderful writing skill, and I’ll be on the lookout for more of her works. The King’s Mistress was a good read that I largely enjoyed and if you’re a fan of historical romance, you might, too.

Their desire could be their destruction…or their greatest strength.

Southern Arcana, Book 4

Fourteen months ago, Kat Gabriel learned a brutal truth. Under the wrong circumstances, her empathic ability is no gift. It’s a deadly weapon. Now her soul bears the inescapable weight of those deaths—and it aches for the loss of the easy relationship she once shared with Andrew Callaghan. Unleashing her power saved his life, but she couldn’t save his humanity.

Since the attack that turned him into a werewolf, Andrew’s sole focus has been to make himself stronger. Pushing her away hurt like hell, but Kat doesn’t need a friend. She needs a protector strong enough to shield her from the supernatural world that forced her to kill. Strong enough to resist their volatile connection.

As Kat’s quest to understand the violent legacy of her past leads her into the darkest underbelly of the psychic world, Andrew is at her side. Yet every step forward rips open old emotional wounds and shakes their control. Where they’re headed, distractions of any kind can be fatal—especially when the greatest threat they pose is to each other.

The Southern Arcana series by Moira Rogers just keeps getting better. I have been waiting for Kat and Andrew’s book and it certainly was worth the wait. The New Orleans of Southern Arcana is wonderfully detailed, inhabited by the most intriguing supernatural community, a diverse and interesting group of shifters, psychics and many more too numerous to mention here.

Katherine “Kat” Gabriel and Andrew Callaghan have been tiptoeing around the elephant in the corner for fourteen months. That is when the past and politics combined to interrupt the budding love between them, causing Andrew to become the wolf he now is, and leaving Kat to deal with the guilt she feels for using her mind to kill the rogues who attacked them. Both have wondered what might have been, but then Kat receives information on a plot so terrible it caused the death of Kat’s mother when she was young. Now Kat and Andrew, and their mutual guilt society, are on a road trip together, to meet with an informant to learn more. What they uncover could ruin the lives of supernaturals around the world, so Kat and Andrew, and a small band of friends set out to stop this threat once and for all. Can they take care of the threat to keep everyone safe, all while dealing with the elephant sitting squarely between them? Can they find the way back to the relationship, and love they had? Or will their lives be forever shadowed by events from the past?

Kat is determined to get past the events that changed her life fourteen months ago. I enjoyed watching as she honed her talent, her empathy, to better protect herself and those around her, while learning to deal with what happened in the past. Kat is a strong character, but she doesn’t realize her true strength isn’t physical, and I liked seeing her realize what was important in her life.

Andrew is the strong alpha wolf, created in the attack on him and Kat fourteen months ago. He has guilt issues and lots of anger, but one thing never wavered-his love for Kat. He is loyal to his friends, and protective of those he loves, especially Kat. I enjoyed seeing him come to terms with his feelings, and find his way back to Kat’s side.

There is a cult of supernatural people determined to control the psychic community, and use them as weapons in their goal to take over and rule the world. Kat and Andrew take on the challenge to stop them, and recruit a small band of helpers along the way.

There is a lot of danger and some very sad moments, but this is Moira Rogers. There is a lot of hot passion, but in a very unique and surprising manner. When Kat and Andrew finally resolve their issues, things go to a whole new level. I also enjoyed catching up with many of our old friends from earlier books.

This is the best of the Southern Arcana series so far, in my opinion, and I look forward to the next one.

Nine years ago, Elisa Haley set tongues wagging when she returned home from college single and pregnant. Finally, her long-delayed graduation is just weeks away. She’s ready to move out and move on to a bright, shiny future in another state…until a face from her past walks into her brother’s veterinary office. A man who once offered her one night of comfort in his arms. The memory burns as hot in her soul as the guilty secret he must never learn.

Tired of the big city, grieving a recent loss, Dr. Liam Barton longs for a home and family in a quiet small town. When he arrives for his first day at the veterinary clinic, he’s not surprised to find Elisa behind the desk. Curiously, though, she barely acknowledges their shared past, and insists she can’t wait to get out of the town he’s already come to love.

Elisa, determined to be nothing more than friends, tries fixing Liam up with Windy Flats’ most eligible women. Yet the old passion still simmering between them melts her resolve, and uncovers secrets that refuse to stay buried. Secrets that put both their hard-earned futures—and their hearts—at risk.

Elisa has her future planned out. After all the years of sheltering herself from the world after a tragedy, she’s ready to move on. She’s looking for a new job in a new city. But he’s ready to settle down. Where he’s at. Elisa isn’t. Liam has suffered a recent loss of his own. And there’s something she needs to tell Liam.

While the characters are strong and the pace is fast, I felt that the plot could have been a little tighter. Sure, there’s conflict, there are untold secrets, and there are reasons the pair could be torn apart forever, but it felt weak. The suspense of what Liam would say to certain secrets was high, but his reaction didn’t seem all that intense.

Still, if you enjoy reading a story with a hero and heroine with a common past, this story would be a good choice. It’s about second chances, finding love despite all the odds against them, and uncovering truths from the past. Full Circle is enjoyable and a good read, I am glad I picked it to review.

And Patrick faces an agonizing choice that could bring them everything they’ve ever wanted…or separate them for all eternity.

This tale takes a reader on a supernatural adventure, touching the heart as it delves into tender feelings and creates suspense along the way. The sensual scenes are well written, woven into a nice little package.

His planet is his prison…and only she can set him free.

The Fringe, Book 2

After a year, Michael “Overlord” Parker finally knows who’s been pilfering his black market goods. Astonishingly, the elusive Bandit of Taiga isn’t a man. It’s a woman, an infuriating spitfire who’s half in love with Michael’s overly romanticized reputation.

Remarkably Average Mary exudes an intoxicating scent that Michael can’t quite puzzle out, even with his unique ability. As long as she remains bound and blindfolded, he has the advantage—and the bonus of tormenting the bane of his existence.

Mary’s deceptively innocent face has never failed her. Yet somehow she’s at the mercy of a man she knows only as “Commander”. His demands are simple. Surrender her methods of banditry, or surrender her body. As his essence invades her intuitive ability—and her remaining senses—she becomes increasingly frantic to escape before she yields all that and more to her compelling captor.

Their sensual sparring ignites, and Michael finds himself wanting to erase Overlord’s myth from her fantasies in favor of the real man. But first he has to foil the slippery little devil’s escape attempts. And find out who’s been using her to unknowingly help the empire wipe him off the face of his own planet.

Captive or captor? Sometimes the lines blur when matters of the heart take over.

Take Remarkably Average Mary No Last Name, or so she’d been dubbed since a very young age. There’s nothing average about this kick-ass chick. An expert thief with a colorful vocabulary and the fighting skills of any trained assassin, she’s got a knack for scaring off any would-be bounty hunters and undermining even the most advanced security defenses, including those of Michael Parker’s. With a personal mission that means more to her than her own life, she’s not about to fall for the attractive, albeit infuriatingly arrogant, man who calls himself Commander. Determined to escape with not only her secrets but her heart intact as well, she knows she must outwit him and sets about undermining his advances at every turn. But escaping a place like Windmere and a man like the Commander is easier said than done, especially when he has a few secrets of his own and another agenda in mind, one that involves getting close to her in a manner she never anticipated.

Problem is; she’s succeeded, just not in the manner in which he’d intended. What started out as a game to pass the time, has turned into something a whole lot more serious. He’s never met a woman like Remarkably Average Mary, one that contradicts and challenges him at every angle, one that infuriates him to the point of wanting to strangle her, and one that sets his blood boiling with a savage need to dominate and control her in every intimate way imaginable. Although Michael has accumulated an obscene amount of wealth through some questionable means—more than any one man could ever want—it all came with a steep price. While his best friend serves as his conscience, so to speak, somehow, Remarkably Average Mary makes him all too aware of how much he still lacks in what matters most.

Book 2 in Anitra Lynn McLeod’s The Fringe series, Overlord is one of those stories that hooks you at the start with an exciting opening scene, then goes through a slower period of getting to know the characters before launching into some excitement once again. This is not one of those stories where the characters have an instant attraction, jump in the sack, then decide they’re in love. No way, this is one of those tales that grows on you, slowly building you up to the point where the climax is timed perfectly with the plot. There’s a lot of character development going on here, particularly with Michael. He does a lot of soul-searching and a lot of changing, all because of Mary. If there was one complaint I had, it was with Mary herself. On one hand, given her background and reasonable level of distrust, I understand why she did the things she did, but on the other hand, there were times I wanted to reach into the book and give her a good smack in the head. Alas, that is probably what makes this story so intriguing; it takes you through a gamut of emotions.

If there were any grammar/punctuation errors, they weren’t distracting enough to grab my attention. The author does a fine job with point-of-view shifts and setting description. Other than a few slow areas, this book was a good read and certainly sparked my interest in Ms. McLeod’s other stories in this series.

If you like an overbearing man with the idea that he can have whatever he wants, regardless the price, paired with a woman who’s hell bent on defying him at every opportunity and letting him know who’s really in charge, then grab a copy of Overlord by Anitra Lynn McLeod, you won’t be disappointed.

No matter how far and how fast you run, the truth is never far behind.

CIA counter-terrorism expert Manuel Ramirez has spent the last three years looking for the woman he loves, who disappeared without a trace while on a post-graduate trip to France.

Then, as suddenly as she disappeared, Jules Trehan turns up in a small-town Colorado hospital bed, injured in an explosion that killed her parents. Manny is shocked by the change in the woman he once knew. Kidnapped by a shadowy organization, Jules has been forced to become the very thing he’s pledged his life to defeat—a terrorist assassin.

Knowing her testimony will finally bring down the organization, Manny races to get her to Washington, D.C. in one piece. Just when there’s a glimmer of hope of overcoming her past, Jules must pull off one last job or Manny’s life will be forfeit. It’s a mission she must complete…even if it means betraying the only man she has ever loved.

No matter how long you run, or how far you go, the one thing that never fails is that the past will catch up with you. If you run from someone determined enough, they will find you. And after three years, Manny finally found Jules. What can be done when the one she harbors feelings for is on the opposite side of the law as she is? It brings trouble, and lots of it.

I was breathless as If I were running with them, literally sitting at the edge of my seat, anticipating the next move. I have the confidence in knowing that when I pick up a Maya Banks book, it’s going to lure me in right away, and sure enough, Long Road Home does just that. The love scenes aren’t nearly as intense as most of her other works, but they are definitely there.

Do you love romantic suspense? Pick up Long Road Home, and prepare for an emotional reunion between two people that have strong feelings for one another but have to fight to be together.

He’s going to show this wedding crasher just how dirty the outdoors can be.

Seattle Steam, Book 3

Allison Siegel is out to stop a wedding. With one of her best childhood friends about to marry a gold-digger, who wouldn’t at least try to stage an intervention? Apparently, her other childhood bestie, Clint.

The minute Allie grew out of her sneakers and into her curves, Clint’s hormones went ballistic. But she had eyes only for Ken, so Clint made himself scarce, even after the relationship fizzled. Now she’s back, looking better than ever—and hell-bent on sabotaging Ken’s wedding. So Clint knows he needs to do whatever it takes to head her off at the pass.

Kidnapped! Allison can’t believe it. Now she’s stuck in the Montana backwoods fending off nature’s friends, and fighting a losing battle to resist Clint—the sexiest forest ranger on the planet.

Clint has big plans for Allie. Not only will he convince a city girl that she needs to embrace her inner nature freak, but he’s going to prove there’s sparks flying in more places than just the campfire.

Sometimes being girly is a lovely thing. Sometimes it is just plain difficult – like when you are camping in a national forest without warning! Being girly is what keeps Allie interesting. The main component which is referred as the essential one is Sildenafil citrate. order cheap viagra http://donssite.com/Driving-into-sunset-on-highway-Hamilton-Ontario.htm Sadly, many other couples fail to get this blessing and to enjoy their sexual life for a long time and it is refined as far as its side effects are very useful to those men with erectile dysfunction. purchase cheap viagra can increase blood flow to the penis, making it easier for blood to flow to the penile area. Even if this exercise only delays your eating or shortens it- viagra uk buy It is still a win! We aren’t looking for perfection, we are looking at another accelerated aging model. Her desire to shower (or bathe) and her desire to wear nice clothes keep her character interesting during her sparring with Clint.

Oh yeah, her cursing and general “potty mouth” keep her character from being boring, too.

The concept is familiar: the hero “kidnaps” the heroine, she attempts to escape, contacts someone, and before being rescued, starts to enjoy the time with her captor. Thus when she is “rescued”, confusion ensues and drives the hero and heroine apart, only to be reunited by a secondary character for a happy ending. Both Allie and Clint have multiple layers to their personalities, and this is what keeps the “kidnapping” portion of the book interesting. Enjoying Allie’s reaction to camping, and the lack of “real food” as well as her enjoyment of the outdoors keeps the plot from getting stale.

One can not help but enjoy Allie’s foibles: posing as a stripper, breaking a heel while trying to escape, running into Clint’s mother while grocery shopping . . . it makes up for her whining episodes when she isn’t getting her way.

This is a nice, easy read. It is just the thing to bring to the beach (or camping!) and while away an hour or two. Enjoy it this summer!

He opened his home. She stole his heart…and his money.

Many would envy veterinarian Russ Gray’s life in rural Montana’s wide-open spaces. Russ calls it lonely. In a country with more cattle than eligible females, he doesn’t envision his seven years as a widower ending anytime soon. Until a mysterious woman lands at his door in the dead of night, riddled with buckshot.

Sarah Novak hates lying to such a kind, handsome man, but if an upstanding citizen like Russ finds out why she’s been three weeks on the run, he’d surely turn her in. Yet she can’t refuse his offer to let her stay until she heals, no questions asked.

From the start they fall into an easy companionship, then teasing flirtation flares into an unexpected intimate connection. But no matter how right it feels in his arms, guilt tugs at Sarah’s heart. Russ doesn’t deserve what she must do next.

When Russ wakes up with an empty bed—and an empty wallet—his first instinct isn’t to call the cops…it’s to catch her and find out why his urge to protect her overshadows all reason. Because he’s had a taste of real passion, and he’s not letting it slip away without a fight.

On the run from a crime of self-defense, Sarah Novak arrives in the dead of night at Russ Gray’s remote Montana property, riddled with buckshot and short on answers. Despite his misgivings, the kind, hunky vet treats her wounds and allows to let her stay until she heals. But will the attraction that flares between them be enough to allow trust to build? Russ hopes so, but when he awakens to find “Nicole” and his money gone, anger drives his emotions.

Sarah has been on the run from her home in Buffalo for three weeks—a harrowing time when she’s hitchhiked, been threatened at knifepoint and shot at by a rancher. Exhausted, she arrives on veterinarian Russ Gray’s doorstep in need of medical attention, rest and food. Using the assumed name Nicole, Sarah isn’t about to give out many answers. Nevertheless, the lonely widower takes her in and provides the assistance she needs.

Over the course of a few days, they share a sort of camaraderie, and later an attraction that moves into full-blown lust. Russ wants answers but won’t push her, and “Nicole” hates lying to this good man, but she has to save herself. After three days of passionate lovemaking initiated by “Nicole”, she steals away with a gold watch and some money.

Ms. Maguire has crafted a strong story with truly likable characters, and she has a knack for plumbing the depths of their souls. I’m not a fan of gratuitous sex, but the sex scenes in Trespass were appropriate to the characters and the story, and if you like them spicy, then this is the book for you!

Russ has been a widower seven years, and he’s lonely but never expected to find a woman in the remote Montana ranch country. He’s locked in the past, living in a seventies house with now prospects for a future other than treating farm animals in the community. Enter Sarah, a big city girl, and almost his exact opposite. Yet the attraction between them sizzles, and Sarah, who has escaped from a bad environment and a bad childhood, recognizes the decency in Russ. She wants to stay for as long as he will have her.

I felt both Sarah’s and Russ’ motivations were in keeping with their characters. Ms. Maguire did an excellent job of reeling me in and keeping me interested in the outcome.

Trespass is beautifully written, a powerful drama that will stay with you. I won’t reveal the ending, but be ready to shed some happy tears.
