My mother would love this book and I would let my teenage daughter read it, if I had one. Basically this is a remake of one of my favorite Disney movies, Robin Hood. The Rebels of Cordovia was a creative twist taken after that fable. I was pleasantly surprised with the ending.

The Rebels of Cordovia was a well written story that I felt was fun and easy to read. I was interested from the beginning to the end and pleased with how smooth the plot flowed.

The heroine, Robin and the hero, Daniel , were truly adorable. Daniel brought a smile to my face every time he teased Robin. I felt mildly bad for Robin but it was really funny. She was good natured about his teasing and she had her turn to get him back. I loved watching their relationship bloom.

I do recommend reading The Rebels of Cordovia. At the end of The Rebels of Cordovia there is an excerpt for book two in The Rebel series, The Highwayman of Cordovia. Considering how much I enjoyed reading book one I’m going to have to read book two.
