In the quaint seaside town of Havenport, Rhode Island, five couples find their happily ever afters with a little help from the romance section of The Final Chapter bookstore. Ruth A. Casie I’ll Be Home for Christmas What does a best-selling romance author do when she’s lost her muse? Maybe a handsome stranger holds the key. Or maybe he’s her worst nightmare. Lita Harris Winter Wonderland A college student’s future takes an unexpected turn when she visits her aunt’s bookstore and meets a new stranger in town. Emma Kaye Baby, It’s Cold Outside She read the spell “To Bring Forth True Love” for entertainment, not expecting a nineteenth century sailor to appear at her side. So what can she do when her soul mate shows up, but doesn’t want to stay? Nicole S. Patrick White Christmas A traumatized prosecutor laying low for the holidays makes an unexpected connection to a former Marine. He’s trying to rebuild his life, and she wants to get back to the one she left. Can they face each new day as it comes…together? Julie Rowe Merry Christmas, Baby A marine biologist moving back to her home town after the break-up of her marriage doesn’t expect to run into her high school crush (literally) only days after returning, or to discover he’s not the smooth operator she remembers.

This book is an anthology but all the stories revolve around an event at the The Final Chapter bookshop in Havenport. Despite each of the tales being told by different authors, the warmth and love come through in each one and they all knit together seamlessly.

However, there have been cases of fraudulence committed by online viagra uk cheap Canadian pharmacies. Every organism being specific, tablet sildenafil goes well to ones and cialis to others. Sports physiotherapy rehabilitation services help athletes in effectively treating pain and levitra without prescription restoring optimal range of motion flexibility and function. bulk buy viagra During the time of arousal nitric oxide rushes into the blood stream making blood flow near the genitals so that the organ may fill with blood. I’ll Be Home for Christmas introduces Beth Alexander an author who is smarting from a bad review on her latest book. She and her siblings intend having Christmas at their Havenport family home, but first Beth must do a book signing at the bookstore. On her way into the bookstore she slips and is rescued by a handsome man. From there on Beth’s days turn into chaos. Warm and fuzzy Christmas feelings with this story right to the end.

Winter Wonderland brings Olivia Baxter to her aunt’s bookstore in Havenport. She’s just in time to help with the book signing, but her real reason is to ask her aunt’s help regarding her future at college. She meets Max, a young man who has come to Havenport to find his biological parents. Olivia vows to help him, but she also has to sort out her own future. Loved this story but would have liked to at least been able to guess the identity of Max’s parents.

Baby It’s Cold Outside is about Jane Caulfield, the sister-in-law of local author Winnie Boyle. Few people know Jane and her brother Bastian, Winnie’s husband, are from the past. Jane cast a spell to bring them into the future. At the book signing she jokingly reads another spell, knowing it won’t work because the ingredients needed are not present. Or are they? There is an unexpected result to her spell casting, and Jane is unsure what action to take to put things right. This story has a male hottie included. Yum!

White Christmas brings the reader into the life of Savannah who has come to Havenport to help her sister with her new venture, Wags and Walks, a pet shop and dog walking service. Savannah has an unfortunately introduction to Mac the owner of the local garage when one of her charges waters the man’s trousers. Mac is intrigued by this feisty woman, but senses there is something she’s hiding. He is determined to find out her secret and help her if he can. A little tense but love will win in the end.

Merry Christmas, Baby is Mattie Clark’s story. Moving back to Havenport where she grew up she meets Charles Walker, the man she dreamed about as a high school teenager. Charles has become a recluse due to serious burns suffered while he was a fireman. Mattie believes inside Charles is the same gorgeous person he has always been, but she has to convince him of this before they can move forward together. Tender moments with conflict of emotions.

A lovely book of anthologies to curl up with beside the fire on a cold winters day. Carefully woven together to make what might be a lovely present to put under the tree.

The matchbook, from a bar called the Blue Flamingo, takes him from Chicago to a village in the Florida Panhandle where he goes to work for the owner, Rita Cornwall. He’s sure this woman knows something but she’s not telling.

In his search for answers to where he came from and where his future lies, Dylan finds himself in harm’s way, threatened by a local troublemaker and warned by a religious fanatic to stay away from his daughter, conflicts that will lead him to the truth but not the one he imagined.

Dylan Ryker has never known his mother, and when his father dies in an accident her sorts out his father’s belongings and takes to the road. The only clue he has found to his mother is a matchbook with the logo “Blue Flamingo” on the cover.

By accident he ends up in the town where a lady called Rita runs the Blue Flamingo bar. Dylan gets a job as barman and hopes the owner will be able to help him with information regarding his mother. Dylan comes across as a nice young man. He is attracted to Jena Staley but tries to keep his distance when her father objects to his presence.

I like the fact the answer to Dylan’s mother’s identity does not come until the end of the book and even then is a surprise. There are many side paths to the story with bullies, an overbearing father and Dylan’s quest each taking an equal part. A little slow in parts, but a nice read with unusual twists.

Holly is portrayed extremely well as the heart broken woman with no dreams of the future. Ivy is typically a mischievous dryad, but she also has a solemn side to her nature. This lighthearted book brought me the warmth of Christmas and made me think of knitted sweaters, hot chocolate and singing carols. All the old fashioned stuff. Then of course there’s the romance, but if I mentioned that it would bring a spoiler into play.

Well written and the characters became so true to life it was almost as if I was there with them.

I would happily recommend this book to my friends and it’s just the thing to stuff into a Christmas stocking. It would definitely put my friends in the mood for the festive season.

Her reign transforms Jaine’s ordinary life into chaos that would bewilder a fairy godmother. Secretly dating her bad boy boss, running wedding errands for her ungrateful sisters, and defending herself from the park’s resident villain means Jaine needs lots more than a comfy pair of shoes to restore order in her kingdom. First in the Storybook Valley series, a blend of sweet romance, chick lit, and fairy tale fun.

Businesswoman Jaine Anderson has a vision for the local Storybook Valley theme park. What she gets is the promise of a marketing job in the future, but for now a job as the theme park’s Cinderella.

At least this gets her away from babysitting her niece on a daily basis, and running round after her other sister who is preparing for her wedding. It doesn’t hurt that Jaine’s boss is absolutely drop dead gorgeous either.

I liked the humor in this story, not just the behind the scenes Cinderella humor, but the snappy replies Jaine gives to Dylan and the way he takes them in his stride. Both have something to be concerned about. Dylan is the new general manager, but his family don’t want him to change anything plus he has a flighty past. Jaine feels she is at the beck and call of her sisters and feels downtrodden, but hasn’t got the strength to say no.

Friends, love interests, and a stepmother who’s not wicked, merely thoughtless. Sisters who are beautiful and definitely not after her man. Then of course there’s Prince Charming. Put this all together and it becomes a fun filled book with romance and of course conflict. A really good read that kept me intrigued until the last page.

THE EXQUISITE PRETENDER

In dress, manner, and speech, Miss Elizabeth DeLisle seemed every inch a leisured lady. No one could guess she had been forced to take a position in trade—or that she had come to the Earl of Auden’s estate to entice him into naming her dismayingly disagreeable cousin Anthony heir to a fortune that she then could share.
The herb’s ability to dramatically increase the male testosterone levels has assured males of increased penis size, stronger order cialis from india and longer lasting erections, increased sperm volume, and better sexual stamina and pleasure. But Elizabeth had stiff competition for the Earl’s imperious favor…from the schemingly seductive Lady Isabel Courtney and her odious little boy, Owen…from the implacably upright Richard Courtney and his unfortunate honesty…and from the memory of the Earl’s first wife, who had made him despise women who deceived.

Elizabeth knew she could never reveal the truth to the Earl—even when she forgot about gaining his fortune and began losing her heart….

Left with a bad limp from the Napoleonic wars and a broken heart from his deceased wife, Morgan, Earl of Auden, has no desire to marry again. He must decide which of his three great uncles’ male children will be heir to his title and estates. All three cousins are called to his country estate at Lyonshall so he can decide who will be the chosen one.

One is a young schoolboy and his widowed mother accompanies him, eager to either get her son named as heir or grab the Earl as a husband. One penniless young man hopes to sway his true love’s heart with the title. The last is a radical, reckless young man. His family sends his maternal cousin Elizabeth (no relation to the Earl) to accompany him and keep him from ruining his chance of becoming the heir.

There is mystery behind each of the prospective heirs, and hidden reasons why each would like to become the sixth Earl. Anthony and his cousin Elizabeth have been kitted out by their uncle to appear worthy and wealthy applicants for Anthony to inherit. This duplicity worries Elizabeth and makes her act in unusual ways. The interaction between Elizabeth and Morgan is tense at first then sways between tension and guilt then sweet and tender moments with the promise of something deeper.

I haven’t read a regency romance for some time as they tend to read like variations of similar stories. This one however is different. The conflict ebbed and flowed and kept my attention from beginning to end. The ending didn’t really show itself until the final pages, and it was the promise of what was to come and more to the point, how it would come about, that kept my interest. Good book, well written, excellent story.

The Merrow Kingdom of the mer people are her responsibility. As a teenager she makes friends with Duncan, a fairy from the Fairies in Distress unit otherwise known as the FID. Years later Cara is kidnapped when she visits the Merrow Kingdom to give a banshee cry to announce death is coming. Duncan is determined to find her before her cry explodes inside her, a phenomenon that happens when a banshee is unable to do her job.

Both Cara and Duncan have deep feelings for each other, but neither wants to admit it to the other in case their feelings aren’t reciprocated. It takes the extreme danger threatening Cara to bring out the truth, but will it be too late?

Cara is delightful, a typical teenager at first she matures into a thoughtful young woman, who does herself a disservice by overthinking things. Duncan is mature, he’s several hundred years old, and acts as an adult to Cara’s light hearted banter. Their interaction is lovely and I truly enjoyed this book, especially when it got to the spicy, hot bits.

The book has a nice blend of friendship, romance and light heartedness, along with intrigue and danger from another source. Looks like this is going to be a good series.

Psychic medium Deanna Oscar wants to be a normal psychology professor at a nice college. The universe has other ideas. When the grandmother she never knew dies and leaves her everything, Deanna enters a different world. In New Orleans anything goes and her psychic powers aren’t a secret. She doesn’t plan on staying but a psychic vision puts her on the trail of a killer. Deanna can’t turn her back on the future victims and becomes immersed in her grandmother’s world. She isn’t sure how to manage the mansion and fortune she inherited or the people who came with it. An ex-priest, a Latina drag queen and a socialite beauty queen are the living entourage. Add in a houseful of ghosts and haunted objects and Deanna needs a little help. In over her head, she struggles to catch a killer who is out to get her as well.

Psychic visions take over when Deanna Oscar arrives in New Orleans for a job interview. The young woman finds herself inheriting a house from a grandmother she never knew existed. Grandma was also psychic and Deanna finds herself entangled in a murder mystery.. Thrown into a world of murder and the paranormal, Deanna also finds humor in her friendship with Ivy the drag queen, her neighbor Mary Lou and Missy her ghostly maid.

This book is one of a kind, although as the first of a series there probably will be more like this…at least I hope so. The writing is unique. Ghosts and paranormal have been written about before, but not with such depth. I traveled with Deanna as she helped hunt down the killer, discovered why he behaved in such a way and tried to save the victims. Along the way she makes friends with a judge, a sheriff and her recently deceased grandmother. Then there’s the unfriendly magical items locked in her storeroom, items which must never be allowed to escape.

The book contains a wealth of characters who make the story extremely enjoyable and I would love to read the next book in the series. If it’s as good as this one it will be a winner.

Mel is a tattoo artist at the The Mansion at Mystic Isle, an old plantation house which is decorated in a haunted house style and where guests dabble in the supernatural. The staff are actors whose roles included soothsayers, tattoo artists, magicians and even a doorman who looked like a monster and was called Lurch.

Mel drools over Jack, the new hotel manager but a murder interferes with their growing feelings. The hotel magician is arrested for theft and suspicion of murder, but Mel is determined to prove the man’s innocence.

I have to admit the setting drew me to read the book. I’ve always wanted to visit New Orleans and one day I’ll get there. Meanwhile books like Mystic Mayhem take me there without having to pay a huge air fare.

This is a book I couldn’t put down. As mentioned the location drew me in at first, then the wonderful cover, but the book contents held me there. The story flowed from one scene to the next without a hitch, merging together the paranormal aspect of the hotel, with the modern day aspects, for instance Lurch’s determination to take a selfie with anyone who came his way. Then there was the bayou, the ferry across to the hotel, Mel’s home and her walk through the city. I could almost taste the cajun food prepared by the hotel chef. There is no doubt this story is set in New Orleans.

Everything merged together to produce a wonderful book and at the end there was a treat – the first chapters of the second book in the series. Must watch out for this one. I have one word to say about Mystic Mayhem – fantastic!

The past and the present weave together in this delightful romance with a hint of mystery. Everyone longs for Jordan to recover, while Jordan is lost in her thoughts of the past. Of the children she lost, the orphanage she worked at, her life with Cory and the voices she hears from the present.

When a routine pickup drops her in the middle of a murder, her two worlds collide. While Florian knows how to throw a punch, deep down he’s a softie. His idea of scary? Running out of hair product. It’s time Ivy faced facts. Even with a vampire on stand-by, one gal can only kick so many asses.

For help, she must put her faith in others. A human, who might just be the one. A demon, who will, for a price, open the doors to her heritage. And a werewolf, who wants to protect her from herself.

Torn between these men, Ivy must tread carefully, because one wants her heart, one wants her body, and one wants her dead.

Ivy is a private investigator with unusual neighbors, but then she’s not exactly normal herself. Her mother was a leanan sidhe and her father was a satyr. Her maternal grandfather was a brather demon also known as the Guardians. At the beginning of the book Ivy knows none of this but she has had her brush with the Fae when Lathan, kindlord of the demons, kidnaps her and tries to make her his slave. Two years later she escapes from Alethia and returns to the normal (well sort of normal) world where Ivy finds she can see auras which tell her the nature of the person.

Which brings us to the strange neighbors. A family of vampires, and a pack of wolves. Lucky for her they’re friendly. Now all she has to do is fight off Lathan’s demons who are trying to drag her back to the Alethia, find her boss and his daughter, and fight off the urge to make love to every man she sees.
