This is a fun and fast-moving story that I felt had plenty of sex and chemistry in it. I could never work out if I enjoyed or cringed at the brother’s nickname – Goldie – for Christa. On the one hand it felt pretty clichéd (and the three bears…) but on the other it really helped lighten what could have been a rocky introduction and I feel it’s certainly possibly the author wrote this with a bit of tongue-in-cheek whimsy – which I enjoyed. The story as a whole felt equal parts clichéd and amusing, the tequila fueled party-night after seeing her ex, the dreams and the beginning of the relationship itself all were well-written but nothing new. What really drew my attention though was Christa’s style and tone of voice. I really related to her and empathized with her situation a lot more than I expected. I wanted to see how she dealt with three enormous men. I found myself invested very early on and this helped sway me into enjoying the book rather than finding it too over the top or clichéd.

Readers looking for a complicated plotline or a paranormal tale won’t find that here. Considering the cover art, the “three brother Baers” and a few other tid-bits I expected this story to be a Paranormal about three bear-shifters, which wasn’t the case. I wasn’t disappointed – but I was a little puzzled and surprised. That said, I found this to definitely be a fun, sexy and slightly cheeky story with oodles of steamy hot three-on-one sex. The main aspect of the plot is Christa developing her relationship with the three Baers – Asher, Felix and Tate – and them all working out how they fit best together. I believe that readers who enjoy strongly erotic, emotional stories should find this hits all the right spots for them.

With a delicious – but again slightly clichéd – ending, three hot, handsome brothers and more erotic interludes than you can poke a stick at, I found this to be a light, entertaining and fun story that left me smiling and feeling good.

This is the first book by this author I have read, and it has definitely left me wanting more. Absolutely recommended by me.

Part of the trouble for me was the lack of chemistry, leading up to flash, bang, whallop, chemistry with little or no build up. There are also characters mentioned with no back-story, who appear to be rather important to the story moving forward.

In my opinion, this book would be better for fleshing out the characters a bit more, giving them more time to get to know each other and their complex relationship. By building the back-story more, it would give the reader a more intimate knowledge of both the world and the characters themselves.

Still, a good read that I did enjoy.

I found this to be an interesting and well-plotted werewolf story. While the dynamics of the paranormal world were slightly different I had no trouble getting up to speed with the setting. I did feel a little as if the plot about the humans who slaughtered Lucia’s pack and sexy shenanigans of Lucia and her reverse harem overshadowed the world-building. Certainly this wasn’t bad enough to affect my enjoyment of the story – but I would have liked to know more depth about the world and how the various shifter packs interacted and how they fitted in with the human world. That said, I feel the author did a good job of juggling the plot and relationship between the five men of the Knight pack with Lucia. With so many men to one woman it would have been very easy for the characters to not stand out on their own merits or have one or two of the men be far more active and memorable than the others, and I was pleased that I didn’t find this was the case here.

I was surprised and pleased that after Luther – the pack alpha – initially claimed Lucia as their mate the five men gave her some space and time to wrap her head around all the changes that had happened practically overnight. It also helped me as a reader get a feel for the pack dynamics and separate the five heroes into individuals and not just as a pack. While I didn’t enjoy how Lucia misread the pack giving her space to grieve and come to terms with being claimed by all five of them – that part felt just a little too clichéd for my liking – I was grateful this misunderstanding didn’t last long and was quickly followed by plenty of steamy moresome sex that even Lucia couldn’t misinterpret or twist into more conflict.

I found the sex scenes to be spicy and intense – but not envelope-pushing and feel most erotic readers should find them suitably hot and interesting. I also rather enjoyed how Luther – for all his alphaness and bluster and hardness – was the one who craved Lucia’s love and acceptance, even while Lucia was the character trying to solve the dilemma with the humans. Normally it’s the hero trying to fix the problems and the heroine agonizing over the emotions so I found it refreshing – and very well written – how these usual roles were so wonderfully reversed.

Fresh and quite different, I enjoyed this reverse harem style of story.

I like how Marie is such a spunky character, strong and more then capable to take care of herself. It shows that women can be as strong as a man. I also fell in love with Justin. I would learn from him anytime.

The romance between is so thick you could cut it with a knife. One thing that is keeping them apart is Justin’s morals, he does not sleep with his students. I appreciate that line of reasoning, even though it drives poor Marie crazy. She wants him so bad that she is at the end of her rope. She is a stubborn woman though, and with help from her friend Monica she bags her man.

One thing that I did not like is the descriptions of the characters’ bountiful anatomy. To me those are unnecessary details that didn’t add anything to the story and really brought me out of the story.

I enjoyed the two romances between them, and wish the book was a little longer so we could see their relationship develop. This is a lovely book to snuggle up with in winter. If you love Martial Arts, strong spunky women, and a man that is that every woman would love, this book will work for you.

The pacing of this story was smooth, speeding up where necessary and still giving you time to process what you had read.

The ending of this book takes you to modern times, which was a pleasant surprise. I loved the ending and how it opens the next book. Still, I don’t know if I’ve quite finished with Lily, ‘Michael’, Moses, and Liam. This book is definitely one to keep, re-read, and enjoy all over again. Definitely recommended by me.

In this respect I found the first-person narrative to be quite limiting. I didn’t understand what Lee saw in Casey because the reader isn’t privy to anything from Lee’s perspective. I could guess that Lee knew from discussions with their mutual friend/s that Casey held depths his shallow outwardly persona didn’t always portray, but this all made it difficult for me to understand the mechanics of the two men coming together and forging a relationship.

There’s plenty of porn-sex and sizzle throughout this short story, and I really did enjoy the perspective of what life as a porn star might look like. While certainly not everyone’s cup of tea this book was different and interesting and I felt the characters – while not traditional or comfortable – were engaging and fresh. This helped give the feel of the book more of a self-exploration for Casey, allowing him to come to realise that he had more to offer than a big penis and great sex and a porn lifestyle. For such a short story this book really held quite a few different messages and I feel the author did a great job weaving it all together into a light and fun package.

I loved the pacing of the story – I felt the introductions to Ruby and Joshua in particular were excellently written and drew me right in almost immediately. As a reader I felt initially that I connected quickly to Ruby and found her to be a relatable character I could sympathize with. She had plenty of desires but after being burned in the past she squashed them all firmly. After the story swapped to Joshua’s perspective I also found him a lovely character I really wanted to know more about. As the story progressed there are some strong secondary characters that are also introduced and (I hope!) main characters of the two upcoming books in the series.

I found there to be plenty of sex, and while kinky and extremely detailed I also definitely found there to be an emotional connection between Ruby and Joshua. It’s a very fine line, but while I liked the emotional connection between them I didn’t really feel like there was a romantic link between them, and for me this was the main thing I found lacking in the story. I had no doubt that Ruby and Joshua lusted for each other, that they were sexually attracted and fitted together well. Their needs and desires were very well suited. But I didn’t really feel that the spark of romance was there between them and annoyingly (for me) I felt this was in large part due to Ruby – who simply would not let go of her previous bad experience and trust Joshua.

Why Ruby couldn’t see how she was constantly being set up – even after Joshua had proven himself and assured her multiple times – really annoyed me and squashed a bit of my enjoyment of the story. Mis-trusting your partner once, or in trying circumstances even twice, I can understand. But Ruby doubted Joshua over and over and it just got to the point where it really dragged the story down for me. There were a few typos and a couple of extra quotation marks, which was bothersome, but didn’t stop my enjoyment of the story. I liked that Kaden was flawed and trying to overcome his issues. That endeared him to me. I wish there would’ve been a few more flaws to Livi, though. She’s a tough as nails reporter, but she seemed almost too perfect. Still, I liked the story.

If you’re looking for a story involving a pain sub, then this might be the one you’re wanting. It’s hot, sweet, and will singe the screen.

These three are different, though, and when Shen makes overtures, Levi finds himself unable to resist the sweet kit. Stripe, Xeno and Shen come as a package, though.

Is there a way for three to become four?

Levi was an experienced professional – excellent with rescued cat shifters and knowing how to help the adjust – something he had sorely missed when he, himself, had been a rescue shifter. Levi could see that Stripe, Xeno and Shen had already formed a bond and that gave him hope they would make a full recovery, something Levi wants more and more as time passes and the threesome becomes four.

This is a super short but very satisfying read. I was pleased that it picked up pretty much exactly where the previous story left off and continued with the three rescued shifters’ story. While I do feel this can be picked up as a stand alone I must admit the reader will likely get far more from the story if they’ve read the book directly previous to this in this series. I feel it’s important to note only the most immediate past book *has* to be read – the others don’t appear to have any direct link to this one so a reader wouldn’t need to go back to the very start of the series.

Having read the previous story I was really glad that the three shifters became attached to Levi and welcomed him quite promptly. In such a short length story it could have been far too easy for the plot of the three rescued shifters and their wariness to have taken over the majority of the story, leaving little room for the romance and sex. While I can understand to some readers this might feel as if it’s a case of insta-lust and the foursome jumped in too early, I knew there’d been quite a build up in the previous story and so this didn’t feel so “sudden” to me. Indeed, I was glad to see the group sex scene and read of the attraction Shen and Levi in particular had. This story really does only cover a few hours’ worth of time and so is incredibly brief and I’m not sure it will be to all readers’ tastes.

A short, quick and easy read with some steamy sex and lots of emotion I enjoyed this story and feel it rounds out the previous book perfectly.
