It takes three alphas to uncover this omega’s secrets.

Mia’s three alpha bosses are protective, sexy and entirely off-limits. Even if she could get past their shameless womanizing ways, or the fact she isn’t their type at all, she’s spent the past six years keeping a secret she has no intention of letting them discover.
Osborne was sitting alongside the 100mg viagra online Prime Minister, with purpose of disclosing his plans about his tax and spends plans from Chancellor. When Hart, Shepard and Dax hired Mia, they never expected her to become such an integral part of their lives. But with a dangerous man targeting them, they have no choice but to lie low with the woman who is more important to them than she should be.

As the four are trapped together in a small cabin, the boundaries they’ve set to keep things simple start to crumble. The danger that drove them away lies in wait back home, but the biggest threat of all might be the risk to their hearts…

Mia has hidden her secret for six years and now, because of some violent, obnoxious alpha, she has to go in hiding with her bosses. This could ruin everything!

This is the eighth book in the series and, in my opinion, one of the strongest! I loved how Mia was determined not to sleep with her bosses. Of course, we all know it’s going to happen, but it’s the journey! 😉 She was feisty and strong and not prepared to take any of their sh*t! As for the three alphas, well, they are all different, yet complementary to each other. Ms. Carter got the voices exactly right as I was never in doubt over who was speaking.

This was a fast-paced read that kept my attention throughout. With some angst, plus suspense, this was a brilliant story that I have no hesitation in recommending.

Her mum is a ‘health freak’ and also runs a Tarot shop where Vivi helps out. Her normal life changes when she finds a jacket that she just has to own and she collides with a mysterious stranger in the local shop.

This was a well-written story that pulled me in from the very beginning, but I do feel like the subject was only skimmed. I am also hoping this is the first of a series because I am left with some major questions! The characters are all developed nicely and relatable. The pacing was a bit slow in places but then it would speed up again.

All in all, this was a great read with interesting themes, especially when you consider it is based on a real-life program. I just hope there is more to come so I can get some of those questions answered. Plus, I’d love to learn more about the Native American myths and legends that were briefly mentioned. Definitely recommended by me.

Kaleb has never found the right woman and, trust me, he’s looked! So much so that when he spots someone he is interested in at his friend’s workplace, his friend warns him to stay away. Of course, he doesn’t. Where would the story be then?

This is the third book in the series and we concentrate on Aleena and how she was raised. In some places, she comes across as almost too naïve but Kaleb is there to help. Bless his heart!

There are a couple of things that didn’t sit well with me. First of all, book two ends on a sort-of cliffhanger with Brylee’s happiness dependent upon Larkin’s. However, nothing is mentioned at all in here about that APART FROM the second point. The girls have a play date and once again, Larking and Brylee are talking about how Gage and Darian are fed up with them. They tell Aleena that they all need to grow up. In Brylee’s book, it is understandable. In Aleena’s book it just the same old being rehashed with no reasoning or explanation behind it.

Apart from that, this was a good story with Kaleb and Aleena driving the story. A nice addition to the series and recommended by me if you want the whole set.

This is the fourth book in the Daddy’s series and we get to see a lot of Larkin and Brylee as they were friends with Eve in high school. Gage and Darian are on hand to help Patrick out with the organisation of Eve’s rescue and care.

Although still a novella, I found this one to be better rounded-out than the previous stories. I really felt for Eve and her situation and am happy that she has found her HEA. This is the best in the series so far, in my opinion, and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Oh my! What a novella. This is small but mighty and certainly packs a punch. The attraction between Caille and Bran leaps off the page but they never forget just what the priority is. I loved Bran’s backstory and how he was annoyed at how his story had twisted and changed throughout the years. Caille is the very definition of a strong independent woman and it was great to see Bran recognise that and leave her to it when needed.

This ends on another cliffhanger but now I really, REALLY, want Arcas’ story. I know he’s going to be with Marshall and I can’t wait. Sparks are going to fly. Not only that but I need Thomas to be safe.

A sassy detective struggles to maintain her integrity in a multi-species world but finds herself choosing sides in a vampire-shifter war instigated by a human politician.

CALLIE is a sassy detective, known for her attitude and her ability to endanger her partners. While investigating a senator, she stumbles upon suck-bloods (her word) and a canister, embroiling herself in a diabolical plot older than her grandfather. Trying to stop her dying sister from an unlikely conversion, she falls for an ancient suck-blood and discovers that she’s more than human.

GABRIEL is centuries old but has withdrawn from society, preferring to spend his years avoiding vamp politics and reading ancient Greek texts. Asked to rescue Callie as a favor, he doesn’t expect her to tempt him with her scent, her delicious blood and her honor. When another vampire abducts her, Gabe must use his allies and their skills to find her before she suffers through a conversion dooming her to an eternity of enslavement.

What follows is the merging of vampire and human, of lust and love, of honor and forgiveness whilst preventing the suck-bloods and beasts from fighting a war they didn’t start.

In a world where vampires and shifters co-exist – in a fashion – next to humans, it would take something pretty spectacular to bring all of them together. Say… a mysterious canister and the blood of someone that changes with what she eats maybe? Yep, that should do it.

Callie has always listened to her instincts and they have kept her alive and pretty much unharmed. Gabe is the older brother, the stronger brother, and yet it is Syl who rules. None of that bothers Gabe but once Callie is on the scene, he will do anything to protect her – even if it means taking his brother’s throne.

I really enjoyed this first book in the series. It leads you to a new world where the rules have changed. I enjoyed getting to know Callie and found her to be a strong, upfront, and sassy heroine. However, I also found parts of the story with her to be slightly confusing as her mindset isn’t always the most stable.

There is an overall story arc that I’m sure will be covered more in future books. For now, though, this story was enough to give you a fulfilling read whilst still leaving you wanting more. The only downsides for me were the confusion already mentioned and the epilogue. I won’t say too much as I don’t want to ruin it for others but, suffice it to say, part of the epilogue was perfect. And the other part was just meh. I’ve seen that storyline before, just thrown it in at the end, and it never seems to come out as it should.

Overall, this was a great read with a wonderful cast of characters, smooth pacing, and a world I wish to return to. Definitely recommended by me.

What happens if you have spent six years of your life running away from someone who wants to own you? Ashley could tell you. She has done just that and has ended up at the bottom of the heap, always on the run, never anything permanent. Chance gives her a helping hand when Erik, Liam, and Torrin are on hand to prevent her getting hurt. It goes one stage further when the alphas can’t seem to forget about her!

This story was a great addition to this world and we also get cameos from previous characters too. There is one train wreck that you know will happen, the alphas know will happen, and even Ashley fears will happen. Kara warns them about it but nope, the alphas stick their heads in the sand and do what they think is best to the detriment of all.

This is definitely a case of opposites attracting as Ashley is nothing like the alphas but everything they needed. They have a high-steam, intense relationship but that doesn’t detract from the overall story arc.

The pacing is smooth and the world-building gives you more where the other books have stopped, giving you a sense of continuation. Although this is the seventh book in the series, I do feel you can read it as a standalone without any difficulties.

A great read that I can absolutely recommend.

Elizabeth knows that love won’t play a part in her marriage and yet has been lucky enough to have all the advantages class can buy in the early 1900s. Caymeron has lived his life under the shadow of a prophecy that says he will bring about the destruction of the world when he finds love. Through the twisted manipulations of Caym’s father, these two meet and neither of them will be the same again.

The scene-setting and world-building in this book are amazing. Like I’ve said, you go from the historical setting of 1900 to modern day 2019. You also go from Earth to the Demon Realms in the blink of an eye. All scenes are perfectly described and easy to see. The pacing is smooth. I did have some confusion when Elizabeth and Caym first split up but soon overcame that.

I think the only thing for me is I wish I had had more time with Caym and Elizabeth as a couple. You get a couple of scenes in 1900 and that’s about it apart from one, maybe two, in 2019. As this is quite a long book, I would have preferred more but that’s just me.

All in all, this was an angel/demon book that I enjoyed and have no hesitation in recommending.

Or is she?

Usually when you hear voices in your mind, it’s a sign of impending madness or a load of stress. For Lenore, she is convinced it could be both!

I found the start of this book to be very confusing. The point of view changed from Lenore, to Jon, to Zeena, to Minton, and back again with no indication of who was ‘speaking’. As well as Lenore, other people are being called too and you have no idea why. Add to that, that this is set in futuristic Earth with beings from another planet/dimension/time zone and maybe you can understand my confusion.

The relationship between Lenore and Jon was mostly physical. I didn’t really feel any other connection between them. The relationships between the others of the Octad were jumbled as I hadn’t had time to get to know them so I had no idea about their capabilities etc.

I found some things in the book to be way too easy and others to be unnecessarily hard. That being said, once I got my head wrapped around the fact it was a futuristic romance, then I began to enjoy the story more. There were no big surprises but an easy flowing story that eventually held my attention.

It’s not an easy story, but it’s a good one and recommended.
