This was a great story albeit very different from the first two. There is no “Champion” of light in this book but rather two people who are working for the light. There are a great bunch of characters who all have their part to play. The world-building is consistently good and I loved the sneaky peek into the world of the fairies!

This is the fourth book in the Guardians of Light series and while I have missed out on book three, it is still very much on my TBR list. If you are looking for great fantasy romances, then I can highly recommend both this book and the series!

The focus is definitely on Dax and Maili but Dara and Loren, plus others, play a big part in it too. The story is fast-and-perfectly-paced, each chapter leading onto the next without any wasted words. I am hopeful part of the story is a pre-runner to the next book but I will just have to wait and see.

I have tried to think of something ‘bad’ to say, just to keep my review balanced. Unfortunately for me, I just can’t think of anything. I think the characters are fantastic, whether you are meant to like them or not. I couldn’t wait to finish this book, just so Dax and Maili got their HEA but at the same time, I didn’t want to finish as I didn’t want their story to be over.

This is such a great series and I really can’t recommend it highly enough. For any fans of fantasy romance out there, give this a try and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

This is a full length novel which gives it time to go into detail about Tracy’s past, how she knows Sam, how Sam knows Mason and Dylan, etc. It isn’t rushed in any way which made it a delight to read. It was great to see not only Tracy grow and thrive, but Karen too. Dylan also has to have his epiphany and ‘Come to Mama’ moment, so having time to read about each character without feeling like it is rushing to the end was wonderful.

The world-building is excellent and the characters likeable – apart from those you’re not supposed to! The author definitely researched the emotional and psychological states of an abused spouse and was able to eloquently give that information to the reader without it being an info-dump.

This book does share some page time with Claire, Bryce, Joshua, and Kaiden from book one, Owned by the Alphas, but you don’t have to have read that for this one to make sense. This was a brilliant read, thoroughly enjoyed by me, and highly recommended.

This was a delightful read with the perfect ending, although if I’m honest, I will admit to wanting more – just so I could see if their life together was as idyllic as I have imagined it to be. Absolutely recommended by me.

There are a couple of ‘bounders’ in here that are obvious from the start but the fun is in the way the story progresses, not with figuring out who the big bad are.

This is both sweet and steamy with some erotic shenanigans going on behind closed doors. A lovely addition to the collection and definitely recommended by me.

I found the pacing to be smooth and the characters genuinely likeable. I’d love to actually have some of the fiction become fact on my next flight but I really can’t see that happening somehow. All in all, this was a great read with love being the star of the show. Absolutely recommended by me.

I wanted to know more about the guys and their individual personalities. How did they come to be together in the first place? When did they first play together? And Emily. She admits to smelling them. Is that part of the world or just them, in those circumstances?

Saying that, though, this was a good easy read that kept me turning the pages. I did love the three men and their differences. If you are looking for something that isn’t too in-depth or bogged down with details, then I would have no hesitation in recommending this book. It is the fourth book in the series but can definitely be read as a standalone.

Oh, and one last – that forced seduction tag? I wouldn’t worry too much about that. They all want it, they just agree the timing is bad!

Rumpled Charlie and his two mischievous dogs are Billy’s favourite customers, so when Charlie turns up at closing time with a mysterious wrapped gift and the offer of a whirlwind trip on the London Eye, Billy can’t say no. But Charlie is keeping a secret that could turn Billy’s world happily upside down.

As the snow falls over London and the big wheel grinds to a halt, Billy discovers that wishes aren’t just for Christmas.

When you feel you are as low as you can go, sometimes the only way left it up. This is what happens to Billy. His dreams in London have come to nothing and he is about to close his last shift without even being able to say goodbye to his favourite customer.

This is a short and sweet novella, the steamiest bit being when they kiss. Billy and Charlie make quite the couple but, if I’m honest, I can’t decide if I like them or not. They seem to feature a bit too many of the delightful English idiosyncrasies which, when put together, gives the whole story a bumbling feel to it. I don’t mind a bit but this seemed to be a deluge.

Being as it is only a novella, you don’t get too much depth or history from the pair of them, apart from the occasional memory. Saying that, the pacing is good, with it moving along nicely.

This was a nice short story guaranteed to while away half an hour or so. Not one of my favourites from this pair of authors but still an enjoyable read.
