Six of the books are about Eve and one particular wolf in the pack, the first one all about them meeting and establishing a foundation really. I think it’s safe to assume book eight will be the icing on the proverbial cake and close up the suspense part of the story. Another thing I really enjoy is how there are actually several plots going on at once.

Overall, Rand’s Craving was an awesome addition to the series and if you read the others you must read Rand’s story. This isn’t a stand-alone book, but if you like wolves, bears, leopards and/or just really hot sex, you’ll not be let down reading the previous installments first. I can tell you this, I am waiting with bated breath for the grand finale in book eight! Holy hotness headed our way!

This is the first of many stories in this world, with a woman in each Night Runner’s future, but I like that Sara will always be the alpha-female for them all.

I look forward to each new story, and hope the happy ever afters just keep coming. This is one for those who like their romance in multiples, and with a bit of danger on the side.

Edwina has to be the mouthiest heroine I’ve ever been introduced to. Ms. Clark certainly has presented readers with a challenging and acerbic character. She confounds, exasperates and intrigues the heroes. That means she’s perfect for the role as their love interest. Certainly a bland, insipid and weak female would not have worked but the author outdid herself with the creation of Edwina Callahan. The courtship of the heroine is like watching a porcupine mating – careful and potentially dangerous. And yes feelings get hurt. But half the fun is watching them get soothed, stroked and explored.

The seven scientists are more than what they seem. There’s a really good reason why they are so effective at their chosen profession and the author explored that just enough for the plot to work. A reader will meet Jake and Kieran first and they play a huge role in some of the heroine’s initial internal angst. Each of the seven brothers is unique in how they talk, how they respond to Edwina’s stubbornness and what their sexual kink is. The guys also do it furry – sort of. Without any of those feelings, the sexcapades wouldn’t have had much meaning or worth. I’m glad to say there was enough to satisfy me.

As for the conflict, it ends up being nefarious and quite a nice touch. I liked how it was presented step by step as the brothers slowly put the pieces together. Even though I figured out how and the why before it was actually revealed, the dramatic confrontation was pure entertainment. I just sat back and enjoyed it.

Edwina and the Seven Snowed-in Scientists is the book to read for adventurous erotic paranormal readers who enjoy a different type of furred beasty. It’s entertaining, fun, certainly inventive and at times very cute. I liked how Ms. Clark wrapped up the happily ever after because it left me with a warm glow. Some readers might think it’s a tad too pat but for me, it was just right. I felt happy and content with the ending and that’s good enough for me.

There’s much humor in this book too and aside from it only being 80 pages long, there’s action a plenty and the sex is hot, heavy and frequent. Ms. Newmar has set the stage for her next book about Scarlett and her longhorn lovers and it will be interesting to see what challenges and direction she takes them on. On the whole though, while I found the story likable and the premise entertaining, it was also rather forgettable. But if you like it light, fun, with a kinky twist on an old classic, Leo’s Crown might be just what you’re after.

The contract on the ice planet has been completed, and while most of Mikayla’s husbands are moving the base to the next uninhabited planet, Mikayla, along with Ryan and Ty are on a brief vacation back on Earth. Peter is also on the planet, attending to some business. As the three decide to join Peter in New York, a chance meeting at the airport reveals details of how Mikayla ended up on the ice planet with her men, and they are able to prevent the same thing from happening to another young woman, Tracey, caught in the same man’s trap.

Tracey and Mikayla find they have much in common, and quickly become friends. When they get to New York, Mikayla discovers that Peter’s former fiancé is trying to sue all of her husbands for everything they have. I had to laugh when she learned that the new scientists coming to help were three women, but I also loved that she felt secure enough to accept them once they arrived.

The various issues raised in this story do find solutions and, in more than one instance, they are humorous and delightful. I like that Mikayla has gained a female friend in Tracey, and I hope to see more of her and her new husbands in future episodes. Of course, with eight hunks hovering around, there is a fair amount of hot and sexy action, but it is well done and appropriate to the storyline. I recommend this to all who like their science fiction on the hot side, but be sure to read them in order, as these are not stand alone books.

I enjoyed meeting each of Mikayla’s seven men in book one, and this one brings us the eighth brother in the family.

On a future earth, where polyamory and polygamy are legal, and rather commonplace, Mikayla and Lachlan are staying put, while the rest of her husbands are finishing out their contract on the ice planet where they met. Because of some twisted laws on the planet, prostitution is legal, but pregnancy is outlawed. Since Mikayla is currently four months pregnant, she is sitting on earth until the baby is born.

When a wounded man shows up at the door in the middle of the night, Mikayla meets brother number eight, Bryce, twin of Matt. When he discovers that Lachlan isn’t alone, and that Mikayla is wife to his seven brothers, he does everything he can to get Lachlan to toss him out. Bryce is the family black sheep, and they believe he is a murderer. But Mikayla sees through his tricks, and realizes he is basically good.

When Lachlan has to return to the ice planet to rescue his brother Brock, he entrusts Mikayla’s safety to Bryce, in spite of his misgivings. Can Bryce protect Mikayla from harm? When a medical emergency strikes, can the husbands accept what happens? Can Mikayla bring Bryce back into the family fold?

Bryce is not what he appears to be. There are some mysteries to him, both in the past and now. Not even his brothers know the truth about him, and what he’s done for the past ten years. Yes, he is handsome and sexy, just like the rest. But there is a sadness to him, and a gentle caring that sees to it that Mikayla is taken care of above all else. I loved watching as Mikayla found her way into his heart, just as she did with his brothers.

I am looking forward to the rest of this series, and I recommend it to those science fiction fans who like their stories hot and sexy, with a side on danger and mystery to them. But these must be read in order, so be sure to read Mikayla’s Men, book one in the series.
