With the vampires comes the wolves’ fifth — and a whole new set of problems when Kimberlyn refuses to share her men, can’t get enough of the vampire, and finds new desires with this unusual addition to the pack.

With so many bodies in the bed, how can a girl not get flustered? If I had to give this story a heat level, it would be “scorching” because you cannot help but fan yourself while reading this tasty treat.

One thing that did not change was Elijah who I thoroughly enjoyed in the previous story Sanctuary, and he did not disappoint in this one. His spitfire personality really keeps everyone on their toes, which with so many characters is not an easy feat. This fiery personality ensured his place as one of my favorite characters.

Two characters that did shock me were Andrew and Logan. They seemed like different characters. Logan is no longer the strong domineering alpha who seemed like a borderline bully. Instead, he became an understanding partner who loved and respected his partners. In the first story Andrew seemed to be as much as a leader as Logan, just not the same style. In this story he seemed too submissive and sometimes got lost amongst the stronger characters. These changes were not necessary bad changes, but they left me feeling a bit puzzled because the changes were so drastic.

Asylum also introduced two new main characters to the storyline: Malik and Kali. Malik is a strong character and purposefully vague. I got the feeling I was missing a story in between the two because so much changed. It made me wants to go back and reread the first story, just to make sure I wasn’t forgetting things. It felt as if the author recognized the mistakes she originally made and corrected them in this story, but it left me a bit disconnected because of it.

The writing style of this story read very smoothly. With a story involving so many characters, I was worried I would get confused as a read. Instead, I was able to easy tell each character different personalities and keep up with the actions including in the bedroom. This is something I really commend the author on. She even incorporated small details like different nicknames from each of the main characters to make you understand which was speaking.

Still, the story was able to stand on its own and even added a little more than the first story, and for that, it was an enjoyable read.

These are not stand alone books but each story focuses on getting to know one of the men and seeing how they develop a bond with their mate. Book 3 can’t come out soon enough for this reviewer but until then pick up The Alpha’s Fall if you’re already invested in the series or it isn’t too late to see how it all began with Seducing Their Mate. Ms. Dalton builds the tension at a steady pace that carries the reader along on the crew’s journey to the Aroykin Colony. While the relationship between the men and Emilia was established in First Bight there’s room for growth that is clearly developed in Bightmares.

If you like a little, or a whole lot, of sci-fi with your ménage adventures, you won’t want to miss this exciting first mission of the Tamora Bight or her crew. I don’t know if there is a planned follow-up to this book since Ms. Dalton paired up the crews of the Braynow Gaston and Kendall Kant but this reviewer for one would love to read an extended version of how Donna takes the starch out the regulation loving Kendall Kant crew. I’ll definitely be watching Ms. Dalton’s works in progress list to see what she offers up next.

There were some really nice sensual scenes in the book that had me reaching for a fan. One that was very well written is fairly early in the story where Raphael is talking dirty to Anna to help her pass a “test”. You’ll just have to read the book to understand the importance of this test.

I did have a few issues with the book. Some are probably more preference issues than real problems but it was enough that it took away a little of my enjoyment of the unique storyline. The one that kept plaguing me mostly involved the name of one of the men, Raphael. Actually, I loved his name in the beginning but then it gets shortened to Ralph for the rest of the book. I think, maybe, Ms. Lee meant for the reader to pronounce it like Raph but because Ralph is a more common name I kept imagining the character from The Honeymooners rather than the gorgeous half-human he and his triplet brothers actually are.

Ms. Lee is a very vivid storyteller. Her writing style is easy to read and she goes the extra mile to paint detailed pictures of the sites and sounds that surround the characters. When Anna and Justin visit Japan on a business trip and when she joins Raphael in St. Croix I felt like I was actually traveling with them.

If you are looking for a quick read with enough hot sheet action to singe your e-reader, pick up a copy of Corporate Plaything. Ms. Lee has a tantalizing voice for both ménage relationships and the paranormal. She combines both in this little novella for a truly unique story.

She’s a strong woman with a loving heart but tough as nails when she needed to be. Then you have Ross, Nevin, and Gillis who are pure male through and through but all different in their personalities, which only added to the drama between the pages.

I couldn’t help but love Amelia, Ross, Nevin, and Gillis as I learned about their demons and saw them fight as a family, as they learned to open up and let go of the past to make a future together. Author Reece Butler did a beautiful job in twisting a saga of days gone by into a hot and steamy ménage of love. Not only was it entertaining but well written, bringing to life some of the history of Montana Territory and the Wild West. I am looking forward to reading the first book in this series as soon as I can get my hands on it.

I would recommend this story to anyone who enjoys erotica and tales of hot foursome. This book is most definitely worth keeping in your library.

Having said that, as Grace comes out of her shell she manages to keep the guys on their toes with her witty personality and vivacious attitude. Something else I appreciated was that I got a chance to really get to know the guys on a more individual basis as Grace spends one-on-one time with them. Jack is the silly charmer, Ethan is the attentative thinker, Adam is her dragon slayer. Together they are everything that Grace needs to begin a new life.

Divine Grace is the first in Ms. Rainier’s Divine Creek Ranch series and she has already written books two and three as of this review. As an up and coming author for Siren Publishing, Ms. Rainier is already making a name for herself and this reviewer is anxious to see how she has progressed as a writer from this first book to the newest release Heavenly Angel.

If you love a powerful ménage story that literally sweeps you along into the lives of the characters, you will love Divine Grace. There is so much more to this story than I was expecting when I began this saga and I’m glad I stuck with the storyline to watch the growth and development of the characters. If a soul searing love story is what you’re in the mood for, pick up a copy of Divine Grace. It’s time well spent.

I was so into the story that I got to the last page and kept hitting the forward button on my e-reader not wanting to believe that there was no more to book one and I’d have to wait patiently for book two while dwelling on the thrilling cliff hanger.

If you love shifter/mate books you will want to read this first book in Ms. West’s series. This reviewer is waiting (rather impatiently) for book two. If it’s anywhere as explosive and exciting as book one it will be well worth the wait!
