One wild and passionate Caribbean night leaves Annelise with amazing memories…but what happens when her vacation fling reappears as a VIP client?

Deserted by her fiancé only three months before their wedding, a devastated Annelise decides to go on their Caribbean honeymoon alone in the hope of thawing the deep freeze of her emotions. Rémy Gaspard is staying at his family’s remote tropical resort to get some work done after a difficult visit with his sister, but instead, he finds himself drawn to the sad young woman he sees from across the beach. When she quite literally falls into his lap, he can’t believe his good fortune.

Their passionate vacation romance is cut short by a troubling accident and they part ways, but neither can stop thinking about the other. When they meet up again in Montreal, seemingly by accident six months later, their attraction is just as strong…or stronger. As they face the challenges of misunderstandings, suspicions and a shadowy menace that won’t leave Rémy’s family alone, one thing becomes clear. Their love remains strong, anywhere and always.

There’s falling in love and then there’s falling on top of, as in tripping over, the embodiment of sexy European wet dreams. Except that Remy is French-Canadian and that’s important to remember.

Annelise is recovering from a shock courtesy of her ‘we want different things’ ex-fiance. Really, who does that? What a jerk! As a reader, I instantly liked Annelise as a sympathetic character but I appreciated that the author didn’t put me through the full grief spectrum. Instead the story opens with her actively making the decision to heal. It didn’t hurt that ‘healing’ came in the form of a hot guy on a deserted beach.

One thing I noticed real quick. Remy’s got moves. Really sexy moves! Their brief time in Mexico was memorable and I was looking forward to when they would run into each other again.

I had in my mind how I thought that would go and surprisingly in a good way, I was wrong. The author throws in some instant intrigue that had me anxious to keep reading. She didn’t disappoint. I won’t go into details but meeting Remy’s sister, hearing about his brothers, there’s so much more story to tell. I for one can’t wait for the next installment.

Reader’s who love to get in on the beginning of great series should get in on this one. Looking at her website, it appears that big brother Pierre’s book is next. Can’t wait!!

When a sexy veterinarian rescues a brooding attorney, the temperature rises…

Perfectly content saving animals at her clinic in a charming but run-down neighborhood, veterinarian Ellie Blevins slams into new landlord Jackson Kincaid, who plans to turn the local buildings into condos.

Hotshot defense attorney Jackson is intrigued by the feisty Ellie and gives her one month to convince him not to put his gentrification plans into progress. Attraction soon sizzles between them, but when Jackson makes his desires known, Ellie’s vulnerable heart doesn’t know what to think.
It also has a potential for a reversible lesion, which means it can evolve into a order cheap levitra cancer. She wants to trust the sinfully handsome Jackson, just as he wants to gain her trust, but finding their way to love isn’t easy when her traumatic past and his criminal clients threaten to sabotage their relationship for good.

Can the enchanting veterinarian and the guarded attorney fight the ghosts of the past and build a new future?

“One single month to convince an angry lion not to eat her up?” I don’t normally open a review with a quote from the book but this line was brilliant and I was breathless from Ellie and Jackson’s first encounter. He wants to be her dragon slayer and she heals him in ways he never imagined possible.

My first impression of Ellie Blevins, besides loving that she obviously has a huge heart for animals, is of a feisty, hard working, I’m not afraid to stand up for myself, owner of her dreams. Jackson was used to speaking and seeing people jump through hoops. Ellie didn’t do hoops.

First impression of Jackson Kincaid: he may be all kinds of dark dangerous alpha male but it was going to be a delight to watch Ellie bring him down a notch or three. Not to make him less of man, just less of a jerk and actually more of a man. Ms. Ohlin didn’t disappoint. The fall of Jackson Kincaid was as hot as it was smooth and satisfying.

By the way, Jackson isn’t really a jerk, he just plays one really well when confronted with a beautiful, sassy vet determined to not lose what she loves. It took only a conversation with his best friend and dose of his back story for me to realize I was going to fall in lust with this book hero right along with Ellie. He calls her ‘Babe’ and I felt it right along with her. ‘Babe’ doesn’t work for me in every book. It works really well for Jackson and Ellie’s book.

Readers, this is one of those books. The kind that makes you feel a little swoony when you read it. The story flows well, the characters have well built, pull-at-your-heart-strings background stories, and just the right amount of tension that builds up to some explosive love making. I knew very early on that I would be looking for other books by this author if they all read this well.

Looking for a hot book on a cold night? Salvaging Love is the first in the Rescue Me series and I can see Duggan’s book building to be a wonderful followup.

What happens when your girlfriend’s brother decides he wants you for himself?

Being a spoiled, rich playboy, Ben Chalmers is used to getting his own way. So Greg Stacey assumes Ben’s inappropriate taunts are just his way of trying to break up his relationship with Beth. Little does he realise Ben’s got a whole other agenda in mind.

Once the plasma is separated from blood, it is then when the person faces erectile dysfunction which also means that the blood is not delivered to the desired parts of the body around the abdomen, but also extend from thighs into the groin. viagra price Ever since Greg had been seriously dating Beth his friendship with her brother, Ben, has deteriorated. While a part of Greg hates Ben and all the difficulties between them, Greg misses the closeness and friendship they previously shared. Things begin to get complicated between the two men and Greg begins to learn the fine edge between love, obsession and hate. Can Greg and Ben’s relationship ever be the same again?

I found this to be an extremely different short story. Told from Greg’s perspective in the first person it was at first difficult for me to grasp some of the intricacies of Ben and Beth’s characters and what they really wanted and expected from Greg. I felt that the back-and-forth of Ben’s character from antagonistic towards Greg to aroused and interested was initially confusing and difficult to follow. I feel in large part this was due to the fact the whole story was told from Greg’s perspective and he was confused, so that didn’t leave a lot of clarity for the reader to piece together. I admittedly felt this confusion and uncertainty of Greg’s made it understandable that this was how the story was written, and also admit the story was richer for the confusion, but as a reader it was at times difficult for me to be certain what was really going on.

This book is incredibly realistic and relatable. There are a number of excellently written but difficult subjects that are raised – Greg’s feelings towards Ben are complicated and very love/hate feelings, there is also a lot of confusion in Greg’s mind as to what is a healthy level of jealousy and what actions overall make a relationship unhealthy. I feel these were all really well written. But this made this book uncomfortable for me to read. I usually shy away from books that tackle such difficult and complicated emotional aspects of borderline abusive relationships, but I had such a good connection with Greg I needed to keep reading and absolutely wanted to know what happened.

While I enjoyed this book I feel strongly that this won’t be every reader’s cup of tea. There are a lot of difficult scenes, including a few where Greg was not quite consensual with his sex when he was extremely intoxicated, or blacked out or after he’d ingested drugs. There are also quite a few scenes where it’s clear Greg feels the relationship is not healthy but then changes his mind back and forth – Greg’s confusion added a lot of confusion to me as the reader about what was really going on and where the line of right and wrong properly laid. Greg’s back-and-forth over whether Ben and his relationship was healthy or not meant I as the reader couldn’t really decide, either. Greg flip-flopping between thinking his and Ben’s relationship was abusive – or Greg deciding to leave and then coming back to Ben all made the story realistic and addictive to read, but I don’t feel it’s an easy subject to take on, particularly when the entire situation was – to me at least – heartbreaking.

The majority of the plot I feel was Greg’s constantly flickering and confused feelings for Ben and Greg trying to understand his own desires and needs emotionally and sexually. This was a lot to read and take on as the relationship between Greg and Ben that was both complicated and multi-layered. The answers to these questions of Greg’s was what kept me reading – I wanted to know if they could make their relationship work or whether it was as doomed as I felt it should be at times. While this self-exploration was well written and interesting I do feel this story isn’t for the faint of heart.

It wasn’t until the very end that clarity came around to Greg and Ben’s relationship. I was satisfied that these important plot points were completed but this absolutely isn’t a story with a traditional style of happy ending. I strongly feel readers should be aware this isn’t a light or romantic story. I personally felt satisfaction at the end, and there is a sort of happiness in the epilogue, but it’s quite outside the box.

With realistic and complicated characters this is a very unusual and different style of story. I feel strongly that it won’t be to all readers’ tastes, but for those who like darker-edged stories and those who enjoy characters discovering and learning things about themselves this will likely strike a good chord with them.

And when her self-absorbed, narcissistic ex invites her to a swanky party after years of not seeing each other, she knows what she has to do: prove he didn’t crush her self-esteem and she did fine without him. Unfortunately, she needs a fiancé and a lot of fantasy to make it work.

After all, he’s not aiming to be Mr. Right, just what she needs right now.

Despite their business arrangement, Nikki and Gabe discover humans are more complex than a contract—money and playacting aren’t enough to dampen real attraction, chemistry, and emotion.

Sometimes, the things you want in life just seem too far out of reach. That’s the case for Nikki. She wants to run her own vintage shop and she wants a boyfriend. Neither of those things seems possible until she hears about the SASS. Then she gets more than she bargained for.

This is a sweet but steamy contemporary romance, with characters to make you smile. Gabe and Nikki both have their own quirks, concerns, and foibles, but together, they support and help each other. Seeing Nikki regain her self-esteem was a delight to read, as well as Gabe’s reactions to when she was being ‘naughty’. Both of them have serious issues to contend with though and it is done in such a way to make them ‘nice’ people without giving the reader tooth decay.

There was also one scene where it looked like communication had faltered but Nikki decided not to be a pushover and to find out what had happened. For me, this was the turning point of the book as it could have gone oh so very differently without them talking to each other. I like a bit of angst but not when it’s completely unnecessary.

This is the third book in the series and yet I would definitely say you can read it as a standalone, as I have. Following on from this one, I would love to read the others. Absolutely recommended by me.

What does a woman do when her life is focused on building her business to save the legacy left by her grandparents—and then her sister gifts her a box of sex toys for Christmas? She grabs the nearest human being to help her test them out, of course. And if that’s Ewen, bonus!

Kelly O’Connor owns Melbourne’s go-to forensic auditing service. She met Ewen four years ago and no man since has measured up, not even his brother. But Ewen treats her like a problem sister and there’s just no way around that.

Ewen Bridger fell in lust with Kelly when his brother brought her home. Now his brother is dead and Kelly should be out of bounds, but when she needs rescuing, he jumps right in. The bedroom benefits are amazing, but can he move beyond his brother’s memory to find a future with the sexy siren?

Ewen had strong feelings for Kelly but their relationship was beyond complicated. Their two companies shared a lot of business together and Kelly had practically been engaged to Ewen’s brother until the car accident that killed him. Neither Kelly nor Ewen had managed to reach a place where they felt they could even discuss – let alone act on – their feelings. A naughty Christmas gift from Kelly’s sister though has Kelly and Ewen’s seemingly ordered lives turned on its head.

I really enjoyed this steamy and quick Christmassy read. I was pleased that the author spent enough time at the start to really lay out both Ewen and Kelly’s characters, and also show me what their business and personal relationship was like before having them reach the crux point and change over from friends and business contemporaries and flip over into something far more intimate.

Readers who enjoy a healthy amount of plot in their stories should find that this short story really delivers on that aspect. Kelly’s family and Ewen’s grief over the loss of his brother are all tangled up into an interesting and complicated knot that slowly gets unraveled as the story progresses. While a part of me would have enjoyed if the plot had unfolded a little more slowly – I had to re-read a few sections to make certain I’d picked up some of the intricacies and was following along properly – I feel the author did a really good job making the moving parts all join together and work coherently.

Sexy and fun with some good chemistry between Kelly and Ewen, I found this to be a strong and enjoyable story.

Suave and charming are there, it’s just buried deep under a gruff, self-deprecating exterior.

I thought it was interesting how very similar Lex and Dodge really were in spite of their obvious different upbringings. How could a kindergarten teacher from a stable family find common ground with a foul mouthed, motorcycle riding mechanic? Reading the first several chapters it was clear that it would begin with a precious little three year old.

MC based books aren’t my ‘go to’ but the blurb of this one caught my attention and maybe it had something to do with the child. That’s one of my weaknesses in romance and this author did a fantastic job of making Cullen’s story just as integral and important and the what developed between Lex and Dodge.

My one major critique is this that there’s quite a bit of telling to move the story along the timeline. I prefer showing and dialogue. What her ‘telling’ did advance was the build up of chemistry and connection between Dodge and Lex. I didn’t mind that at all.

She also gave me glimpses into the other men and women who made up the first several books. As I said MC isn’t typically my thing but I enjoyed this one well enough to be interested in reading books 1 – 3. Picking up clues from Riding Hard leads me to believe that there’s some exciting and hard fought HEA’s in those books as well.

Reader’s who are offended by strong language might find Dodge and his brother’s a little hard to take but I’d tell them to look beyond their words and you’ll find some super protective, jealous to a fault, loyal hearts. Well worth the read.

The story itself is well told, with well rounded characters. Each character has a strong voice, fitting to their time and station. Jeremy makes no bones about what he wants from Katy, and Katy will give him that, but there is that undercurrent between them that bubbles along in the book, one that bursts its banks just when you don’t expect it to.

I loved that Jeremy, while he knew what he wanted to do to Katy, makes her wait; makes her understand what she is asking for. I loved that Katy takes things into her own hands, even if it tips Jeremy over into angry.

Some twists and turns I did not see coming too! Loved being kept on my toes! Absolutely loved that certain characters kept nothing from each other, and that Katy was surprised by that fact, given how she came into their lives.

Rock guitarist Spook Mortensen wants nothing to do with sex, love, or intimacy. The one real relationship he had gutted him and left him in a hell of heartbreak and self-loathing. A decade on, he’s content to remain celibate forever—even when it comes to the unique temptations of sound engineer, Allegra Hutton. Better that than being a monster.

Alle can’t forget the mad chemistry that roared into life twice before with Spook. They’ve been texting for a year. Third times a charm, they say…

When their paths collide on the Riviera, the reckless energy that burns between them reaches new heights—but Spook has walls miles thick. He swears she’s walking temptation in one breath, and that he’s not the man for her in the next. Good thing Alle’s a born fighter. She’s not giving up, even if that means digging into his past in order to break through those barriers between them.

I enjoyed this, a lot. I can’t quite love it though, and let me explain why.

This is, from what I can gather, part of a much longer, larger collection of books about this group of people, this band. I have NOT read any of those. In that collection, Spook and Alle come together, a couple of times, at some point. I *think* maybe it would have helped ME (at least) to have read that book. I missed their first encounter! And I really NEEDED it, you know?

Spook is celibate, but has encountered Alle twice before. Those encounters were explosive, even if no actual sex was involved. Alle wants more, and Spook does NOT want more. Alle is a fighter, and she will fight Spook for everything he can give her. She will break his walls down, even if it kills her, and it is highly likely that it may well break her heart!

Spook is an interesting chap! He is closed off about a lot of things and some things he makes plain and clear. He wants Alle, just not in the way SHE wants. He has a lot to say here, and it only just scratches the surface of what’s behind his walls. He is keeping a lot close to his chest, but what he says about what he wants from Alle is dark. But Alle wants that darkness, she NEEDS it from Spook.

Alle and Spook both have a say, along with another band member (but I already forget which one, sorry!) I would like, maybe, at some point, to read all the other books in this collections, because there are some great guys and gals in this book!

There is a very short paragraph at the front of the book that sort of explains how Spook’s tale came to be. I’m so glad that he demanded three books, instead of the one the author promised him, really I am, because I have a feeling that Spook has an awful lot more to say that he has not even hinted at yet!

Alle and Spook’s tale ends in this book on a bit of a cliff hanger, and I didn’t see that coming, so I got all kinds of cross and angry and annoyed! *just be warned*

So, because of missing their earlier encounters, this one is 4 stars.

This is billed as the third book in The Coldwater Pack series, but I was able to read it as a standalone without losing any of the story. Saying that, I do think it would be a good idea to read them in order as I have wondered if Liam’s illness was mentioned in any of the other books.

There is danger in here for Brey and Liam wants to protect her. He will need to ingratiate himself though, as Brey has been badly burnt by him before, and isn’t keen to repeat the experience.

This was an easy read, with plenty of steamy moments. Brey isn’t a walkover though, and Liam has to work to regain her affections. I enjoyed the writing style and found it flowed smoothly. I’m always a sucker for an epilogue and thought this one was brilliant.

For a steamy paranormal romance with a hint of suspense, then I can heartily recommend this one.

Slider: I’m not even thirty yet, but I’m already tired of the bullshit that comes with easy women. Maybe seeing my Pres settle down gave me a new perspective. Having the same woman in my bed every night is starting to sound more and more appealing. Or guy. I’m not picky. Love is love. What I didn’t count on was my ex-lover deciding to “help” me with my problem. When he left a naked woman in my bed, I was pissed… until I realized she was in trouble. She needs me, and maybe I need her, too. I always did have a hero complex, but it only takes a few minutes of knowing her before I want to slay her dragons, keep her safe, and show her that not all men are evil.

I didn’t count on her being my wife. F**cking Surge! Always putting his nose where he shouldn’t. When she runs, I realize I seriously screwed up and I have to get her back.

Slider is the Hades Abyss secretary and attracted to both male and female. Vasha was groomed relentlessly to be the perfect wife for her cruel husband. To get away, she signs up to be a mail order bride.

Slider is a biker, rough but with a soft heart. When I saw that Slider’s ex ordered a mail order bride for him, I have never seen a beginning like this and it definitely grabbed my attention and kept it until the end.

The instant attraction was there from both sides. The author did a great job of writing and creating Vasha. She is really different from all the other old ladies (wife/official partner) in everything, but she is strong even though she has had a sheltered life from the public if you don’t count the sexual/wifely training. I loved the dynamic of their relationship. The changes that came up on him when he met her were interesting. This story is different, yes, and it had a bit of an insta-love story quality which I didn’t mind one bit. There are scenes that may disturb some, though. The sizzling chemistry was loaded with action. There was some light BDSM–tying up–during the scenes.

This story is perfect for readers who want a self-healing story with action and romance.
