Slash is pissed. He’s wanted Natalie from the first moment he saw her, and he knows that Butler only wants her because he can’t have someone else. There’s no way Slash is going to lose the only woman he’s ever loved, especially when he’s not even gotten her yet.

Waking up to see Slash there, Natalie is brought back to the first time she saw him, how he made her heart flutter, and the crush that thrived before her father died.

Will Slash finally be able to woo his woman, and to have the family he’s been craving? Will they get their happily ever after?

I really enjoyed this amazing book!

Sam Crescent returned to her exciting Chaos Bleeds MC with a great tenth book in this series. As usual, this was a great read. As for the plot it was intriguing and captured my interest right away. In the beginning there was some tension between Slash and Butler over Natalie. Slash was always going to claim Natalie as his own woman though. I thought he was patient and very sweet about it. Until Natalie got hurt and then alpha Slash came out to take charge.

As usual with this author I loved the strong vibrant characters. She gave them a personality of their own which helps to immerse the reader in the story. The pace was a bit slower than I would have liked but Natalie was hesitant to cause problems between Slash and Butler. I loved that Devil was so protective of Natalie like a father figure, perhaps. Lastly, I liked that not all hope was lost for Butler either.

Natalie’s Choice is another great book from Sam Crescent.

Who knew the starchy, always respectably dressed Ms. Watson had such a naughty side? Her proposal to auction off willing celebrities and suitable staff for a ‘date’ has appeal, especially with Hannah, herself, on the auction block.

The terms of the auction are clear—a twenty-four hour commitment—plenty of time to get her out of his system.

What can possibly go wrong?

The book is not just an erotic romance; it has multiple plots, their love/relationship and the little girl’s case. I won’t say more than this. But the addition of the little girl made the whole story more rounded off. I loved seeing different sides of both the characters which would not have been possible if the little girl was not in the story.

The plot is something that I have read before, but Auctioned to the Bad Boy CEO is very well written with characters, both main and secondary, that capture your attention. I recommend this book.

Though she tries to remain professional, Samantha finds herself falling for Christopher. But, can a vampire’s heart ever beat again?

Not just a romance but a holiday romance set in the North Pole with Santa, elves, vampires and more…

It’s a whole other world with magic! It definitely surprised me when reading about vampires at the North Pole. It was a first for me. It is not just an erotic novel, it’s much more than that and I loved that aspect of the book.

When Santa appoints a human, Samantha, to work under Christopher, it was apparent that he did not like the decision, even if he liked her. However, with every page more of the wonders of the North Pole showed up and I became as astonished as Samantha with the new world. I would have loved to have read more about their world and the different species that live together.

Samantha and Christopher are attracted to each other but all Samantha wants is to try to focus on her work and making his work easier. That is not easy. With them working together, it was inevitable that they get together. That being said their relationship heals each other. The climax to the relationship wrapped up nicely and it was satisfying to see them go through the motions of positivity and end up with each other.

This book is a wonderful story for a Christmas romance that any erotic reader would absolutely love.

Viv has been taking on more work and more responsibility in her job and while she’s truly delighted her co-worker and best friend, Abby, has found the Navy SEAL of her dreams, it makes her feel a little tired and lonely to see Abby so blissful. When Britt knocked on Viv’s door to help her with all the last minute running around for Abby’s wedding he had no idea how much his life would change. Wounded in combat with his fellow Navy SEALs Britt is determined to get through his duties as best man then carve out a new life for himself. While he hadn’t been looking, after meeting Viv he knows he wants to include her in all his future plans.

I found this to be a lovely, slow-burning style of love story. While there are a few steamy sex scenes, I feel most traditional romance readers should find this a good, slow-paced style of story and not find the descriptive sex too overpowering. Almost the whole story revolves around Viv and Britt and their helping their friends, Abby and Nick, throughout their wedding. The pace is easy enough I found myself half way through almost wishing for the wedding to be over so I could see how Viv and Britt dealt with reality and “normal” life – not while they were constantly thrown together with the million and one pre-wedding duties they both needed to do as Best Man and Matron of Honor. While the preparations and wedding itself only took a few days it really felt to me a bit like a soap bubble out of time and each of their real life, so while their attraction and connection during this intense time together was great, it didn’t give me a lot of confidence of how they would build a solid and lasting relationship that would remain steady outside of this small space of time.

The characters of Viv and Britt were interesting and had a number of complex layers that I really liked. I also loved the strong cast of secondary characters, Abby and Nick, their team-mates and family. I could easily see a number of future characters for follow-up stories down the line and wouldn’t be surprised if there are more of these to come. While the sex was graphic I didn’t feel like it over-shadowed the story itself. There was a lot of story both before and after the main intimacy and this helped it feel a lot better rounded as a story to me.

While I would have preferred to see Viv and Britt develop their relationship a bit more outside of the wedding setting, this was otherwise a great, slow-burning and character-centric story that was both sweet and spicy. I feel it should appeal to a wide range and readers and I’ll be interested in further stories to see some of the strong secondary characters develop.

Tigers on ice. So very nice.

Charlotte had always gravitated toward Chris and Drew Malcolm. When her father was transferred away from the small town where she had spent many of her formative years, it was devastating to them all. But when fate opens up a chance to reunite with her long lost best friends she jumps at the chance.

Can the woman they love accept them both as tigers and men? But when a danger threatens Charlotte, they are forced to act, laying it all out on the table, for better or for worse. The question is how will Char react?

These questions kept me reading. In the human world, having two husbands is for certain not the norm and Charlotte really struggles with the fact that she has adored both brothers since she was a teen. Distance seemed safer but now that she’s back for a visit, she realizes that mere friendship is not enough. Que in sexy romp music. The seduction of Charlotte was smexy and hot, drawing me deeper (no pun intended) into the story.

The only issue I had was only two of the three characters had POV. I wanted to know all three characters as individuals. That and the anal sex scene was glossed over in such a way that I had to read it again to figure out just who was putting what where, and the sensations of said act were not described, adding to the confusion. There was also a reaction by Charlotte’s parents that didn’t quite seem on par with the human world but it didn’t detract from the overall storyline.

All in all, I enjoyed the read. This shifter world has some unique rules I have not seen before and would like to see again. The first in a new series, I look forward to the next installment and will keep an eye open for hot new tigers and dragons. (Those were uber cool!) New adventures and smoking new shifters…bring it on.

When her chance encounter turns up in her surgery, there is only one thing for it. Grab said hunk and the sex on offer with both hands and don’t let go. Alistair isn’t a patient after all … and what two consenting adults get up to in their spare time can’t be love—or can it?

Sandy is an extremely busy doctor who hasn’t had a Sir in far too long. While her sex life might be lacking the rest of her world was moving well – until Alistair walked into her office. They’re attracted to each other from the moment they lay eyes on each other, but can they start something deeper than a quick shag?

Set in Edinburgh I really enjoyed this short story and loved the British slang and different turn of phrase. I also appreciated how despite the short length of the story the author tried to not fall into the trap of having Sandy and Alistair lock eyes and immediately jump into bed. Their first meeting was funny, short and super fresh – to my mind at least – and stands out to me as an excellent and different meeting. I was also pleased (though privately skeptical) that Alistair was adamant that they didn’t immediately have sex but get to know each other a little first. While I’m doubtful about the realism of this, I again found this fresh and different enough that it captured my attention and kept me glued to reading each page quickly.

Fun and sexy with just a nice hint of kink I didn’t feel the BDSM overwhelmed the storyline. Had I picked this story up wanting a deliciously hot and kinky BDSM relationship I likely would have been left disappointed. While Alistair and Sandy do dabble I found it quite light – only one scene of sensation play and a light spanking scene. For a romantic and sensual story with a hint of kink this was great, but as a BDSM-style relationship story this could be somewhat lacking to some readers.

I found this to be a happy and fun, quick read, and it’s mostly realistic, frank manner of describing sex and the rushed, modern type of world we live in had me laughing aloud in places. I enjoyed how the author didn’t shy away from talking about gushing orgasms or the ickiness of rolling over in the morning into the wet-patch on the sheets. Graphic and sensual this isn’t the kind of story that I think will appeal to readers who prefer their romance soft, sweet or wrapped up in a pretty bow. Personally I found the blunt talk real, relatable and quite reflective of the life of a modern woman.

Kate Swanson is a singer with a stalker on her tail and Lucas Evans is the bodyguard who is going to protect his employer with everything he has. Lucas Evans is everything she could want. The older man is attentive, seeing to her safety and even holds her at night when the terrors become more than she can bear. But when their mutual attraction sparks into something deeper, she might lose more than her heart.

The tension between the two characters is a driving force of the story, as is the mystery of who could be stalking Kate. As the flame burns brighter between the two characters, so does the risk to her well-being.

Overall I enjoyed the quick read, but wanted to have more character depth with Kate. The interplay between the older man and younger woman was scintillating as was the threat of unknown violence with Lucas as her protector. The book was a fun, adventurous spin on my e-reader that fans of American Idol and The Voice will particularly enjoy.

Six years later, when a mission incident nearly ends Bob’s life, he reflects on what could have been, never having forgotten the woman who loved him. Bob realizes he’ll do whatever it takes to have Becca back in his life—if she can see past his scars.

Bob had met Becca, his cousin’s room-mate, years ago, before he’d been deployed and shared one special night together. Out of the country far more than in, Bob and Becca had drifted apart until an accident ended Bob’s military career. Broken, but home, Bob was determined to try and turn the chemistry between them into something more than just the one night they’d shared.

This is an interesting short story that I enjoyed reading. Bob was a dedicated solider and most of the story was from his perspective so I liked getting a good understanding of his character and understanding why he acted the way he did. I found the back-and-forth mental time jumps a little choppy, often not following clearly whether Bob was recalling the past – ie how he met Becca – or whether it was present day. Quite a few times I had to back-track and pick up the thread again and sort out whether Bob was reminiscing or whether the story was in the current time. This made the story feel a bit jolted to me, personally, though I admit I enjoyed learning about Bob and Becca’s past. Their history made their relationship more complicated and interesting, but a part of me just wished the author had started with their meeting then jumped forward (only the once) in time while Bob was deployed. I feel this could have easily made the whole story feel smoother to me and helped me not get lost in the timeline.

Once the past and present merged, however, I really enjoyed watching Bob and Becca get to know each other properly. They’d both gone on living their lives, Bob in the military and Becca on the West Coast, far from Bob’s family and her old life. They each have a child and I found it both romantic and satisfying to read them both coming together to form a loving family unit.

There’s only a couple of sex scenes, though I was pleased to find them both descriptive and explicitly written. Readers wanting a hot-and-heavy, highly sexual story might find the erotic side of this story a little lacking, but I personally was pleased that the character development and plot aspects of the story were more heavily portrayed than the sex itself. This made the story feel more complex and emotional to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought this was a good read and an author I will happily read again in the future.

Jessica’s sworn off men for good, but the faster she runs, the more Chase finds to love about her. What will it take for him to win her trust and her love?

Jessica is not in the Christmas spirit. Alone after her now-ex cheated with a woman Jessica considered a friend, she just can’t find it in herself to get into the holidays this year. Chase loved Crystal Coast and was enjoying his usual morning jog when he literally bumped into Jessica. They got off on the wrong foot but Chase is pleased when he has the chance later to make it up to her.

This is a light and fun Christmassy story. Jessica has been pretty badly burned by her ex and carries that baggage around for a fair bit of the start of this story. I felt this made the book drag a little and personally would have preferred if she’d had a bit more time (off-screen) to come to terms with the betrayal. While this did admittedly add a good dose of conflict into the story, I just didn’t like how Jessica wasn’t really open to Chase emotionally in the beginning, and how she kept on expecting him to turn into a jerk.

Despite this – Jessica was more than happy to jump into bed with him, which I found weird since she clearly didn’t trust him and I wasn’t even convinced at their first intimacy that she even liked him. It felt a bit too much to me like rebound sex. Jessica was thrilled that Chase paid her attention and was flirting with her, and since he was handsome she decided to have sex with him and didn’t expect it to go anywhere. While it struck me as realistic, it certainly wasn’t romantic and I felt pretty bad that Jessica had been so messed up emotionally by her ex. Considering Jessica’s poor opinion of most men and her running away before Chase woke up the next morning a small part of me was hoping Chase would go off and find some other girl who could love and appreciate him.

While I never really warmed to Jessica’s character after such a difficult beginning, I was extremely relieved how as the story progresses Jessica manages to stop acting silly enough for me to want her out of the story. When her ex keeps on trying to drag her down Chase works overtime to build up her self-confidence and finally Jessica realizes that not every man in the universe is a jerk like her ex and so she starts to become more emotionally and romantically available for Chase. I found the jump from here into sex-hungry kinky woman a bit of a stretch, but have to admit I did love the steaminess of the sex scenes between Jessica and Chase and certainly felt that their emotional and romantic connection improved a huge amount. There’s some very light spanking and a few toys, a little bit of anal play and the last quarter of the book just flew for me in a very happy manner. I do feel it was worth sticking through to reach this far happier space.

This is an emotional story with a fair bit of baggage, about Jessica finding her way again after being seriously burned. While the heroine annoyed me a fair bit I found the ending of the story to be rewarding. With a smoking hot hero who is perfection in almost every way this was a decent read with some steamy sex scenes that helped me keep turning the pages.
