As the three negotiate unfamiliar relationship territory, a stalker pursues Isabelle with relentless intent. When another unexpected visitor arrives threatening the peaceful life she’s worked hard to build, Isabelle refuses to surrender without a fight.

I liked this one a lot. It was a sexy, suspenseful read that was easy to enjoy.

This series is set in the fictional town of Enclave, Montana and has the exciting premise of the menage lifestyle. Now that sounds very exciting but there is always some type of trouble going on in this town. In other words, it’s a lively set-up that is a sexy right up my alley read.

The author did a good job on this story. It had an interesting plot with plenty happening to keep me engrossed in the conflict. The story revolves around a trio of lovers, Warrick, Isabella and Colton. Our two handsome guys are confirmed players who have no intention of ever settling down. Until now. Isabelle recently moved to town and set her sights on the confirmed bachelors even though she may get her heart broken. There was also some suspense that unfolded with a dangerous case of mistaken identity, a deadly vendetta and some family secrets. All of these events made it an exciting book.

The characters in the story were well developed and had their own personalities. There was Warrick as the man in charge, and the one with the most to lose. Colton was more passive but the most charming. Then we had Isabella who had endured some hard knocks but kept her sense of humour. I liked them all so it was delightful watching as their relationship unfolded. Now, I would be remiss not to mention the scorching hot menage love scenes. The love scenes were fairly intense and included some anal play. It was also, and this is the most important part for me, very romantic.

You might say that this story is mostly about being willing to give up everything to be with the ones you love. Overall, it was a great read that was beautifully written. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Is The Iron Eagle a psychotic serial killer?

Or a new breed of Justice?

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detective Jim O’Brian and FBI Profiler Special Agent Steve Hoffman are hunting for a brutal serial killer; however, this case defies the profiling rules both men have been trained to detect. “The Iron Eagle” appears to only hunt and capture serial killers. Time is of the essence as with each passing day “The Eagle” gets more brazen. The deeper O’Brian and Hoffman dig into profiling the killer, the more they realize that this is more than a race against time – it’s a race laden with the realization that the killer may be one of their own.

If a reader is looking for a book that requires reading with the lights on and who enjoys a story about a criminal mastermind, then pull up a chair and get comfortable because Rise of the Iron Eagle is a wild ride and is sure to leave a haunting legacy in your dreams.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I decided to read this novel. I wasn’t bored, I wasn’t left unaffected and I sure as heck am glad I’m reading about the stuff that went on instead of seeing it for real. I think Mr. Teel, Jr.’s writing about criminals is like what Stephen King does for horror – leaves a lasting impression and horrifies while weaving a tale that one can’t step away from.

I ended up classifying this book as an erotic based on the three way relationship between one of the characters and two women. Also, the fact that a few of the deviants in the story got off on voyeurism while they did what they did was another reason I labeled it thus. However, this is first and foremost a mystery, and a murder mystery at that. And, this is a novel about one man on a crusade against the vilest of the vile, the most heinous and inhumane of human beings, and reading about them kept me on the edge of my seat.

The one thing that the author wanted to make crystal clear, and was abundantly successful, is making a reader believe that the method of death meted out by the Iron Eagle was warranted. Sure, Steve, the FBI guy, wanted the investigations of the crimes done by the book but, there’s a gray area that he sort of teeters on. Then there’s Jim, who actually is more open about accepting that what the Iron Eagle is doing isn’t such a bad thing, even when he duplicates the horrors done to victims onto the perpetrators themselves. It was extremely difficult to read because the author was highly graphic in his details. There is rape and torture and other extremely violent behaviors but it’s recounted in a manner to get the reader on the Eagle’s side. And, for me, it worked. Yes, I cringed a lot, and took a lot of breaks, too because some descriptions were horrendous and uncomfortable to read but that’s the point. Those creeps were under the radar, killing with seeming impunity, and until the Iron Eagle put the clues together and acted, no one was going to stop them.

What I liked were the surprises. I thought that I was going to be left with the mystery of trying to figure out who the Iron Eagle was but that was actually shared with the reader part way through. And I asked myself, why? Turns out there’s a cold case that is the whole impetus for the book. That’s the real mystery and eventually, although I wasn’t too keen on the cold and precise manner in which retribution was delivered, I ended up being very sympathetic to the Iron Eagle. I didn’t expect that.

Dialogue was dark, dangerous, powerful, gritty and incredibly effective. The characterization of both Steven and Jim were not written as touchy feely, getting to know you and your emotions type of detail, but were written as hard bitten, professional and driven. They are men who are extremely fallible with vices, profanity laden speech and yet take pride in the jobs they do. They really are the good guys, with a dark edge. But no one is as dark as the Iron Eagle. I eventually find out why and it broke my heart.

The ending was profound. As much as the author went into great gory detail with the initial few serial killers, when the final moment of reckoning came it was just a tiny teensy bit more anti-climactic than I expected. And you want to know why? Because I wanted the bad guy to suffer more, to pay harder for what was done to all the victims, and in my estimation, he wasn’t. In that I guess even I have a little bit of vigilantism in me. Imagine that.

Rise of the Iron Eagle is dark, gritty, compelling and powerful. It’s not a comfortable read but it’s potent, gripping, exciting and any other word you can think of to describe a book that makes a person read through their fingers because they alternately want to hide but can’t help but continue to read all at the same time. Believe it or not, there might even be a romance relationship coming out of this horror. Talk about unconventional. It’s not the focus but it sure made me happy that even with all this death and atrocity, love could still be found. Yet, even as one case comes to a satisfying closure, the author dangled a surprising carrot. I might need to fortify myself with cotton candy and fluff, but I definitely would read the next book in the series. Mr. Teel, Jr. has a commanding story-telling voice and Rise of the Iron Eagle is proof. Check it out and see, if you dare.

Lights. Camera…die.

Detective Scarlet Reid has spent the past three months trying to make her alter ego, Ms. December, a ghost of Christmas past. Forced to become the sexy centerfold in a high-stakes undercover assignment, she’s spent more time pulling copies of her naked butt off the bulletin boards at the precinct than she has collaring criminals—and it’s far from over.

A deadly agenda. A gruesome new case has revealed a disturbing trend—one that has placed Scarlet on a list of possible targets. With limited options, she’s going to have to resurrect Ms. December—and her old partnership—which means facing the one man who stole more than just a kiss.

A love worth fighting for. Federal Agent Roman Kinkaid has some explaining to do. His final assignment with Scarlet changed him, and he’s been running from her ever since. But he’s ready to make things right—only he’s not alone. His partner and lover, Special Agent Aiden Cross, is just as invested and determined as Roman is to claim Scarlet as theirs. And they aren’t taking no for an answer, especially when their souls—and Scarlet’s life—are on the line.
They are both blue and available in different forms of tablets, soft tablets viagra soft and jellies. Sure, the parents would try to curb their teenage son or daughter’s activities, but this is something where viagra online online they can help a person pre-surgery and certainly post-surgery. sildenafil sales Impotency is brought on by a blockage in circulation. They have three weeks to catch the stalker before Scarlet’s time runs out and they lose their one chance at a happy ending.

Angel is a centerfold. Okay, so the popular 80’s song by the J Giles Band pretty much became a reoccurring earworm throughout reading this sexy little short story.

Scarlet, aka Ms. December, is deep undercover when the book opens. Actually, she’s very exposed and is wishing for some cover. I had to laugh in the beginning because she is so clearly uncomfortable in her role as a play bunny being photographed in her birthday suit. She holds her cover well and thanks to a nasty little man who likes to watch, she gets some serious and sweaty one on one time with her partner, Roman. And then all goes to pot. No pun intended but readers will understand that line when they read the book.

Circumstances bring them back to the scene of a crime but it isn’t just Scarlet and Roman. Roman’s partner in and out of bed, Aiden, has feelings for Scarlet and is determined to keep her safe so he and Roman can show her they’re in it for the long haul.

The story was fun and well developed. The sex, HOT! Great dialogue and a villain who isn’t revealed until the very end. There are clues and red herrings but it was fun to guess along the way. This story had it all. What I liked best were the characters themselves. I wish I knew how Roman and Aiden became a couple. These guys are both heavy on the alpha side and both happy to give an erotic spanking when opportunity presents itself. Let’s just say they’re a tiny bit obsessed with Scarlet’s posterior. But it’s sweet and sexy at the same time. They truly dote on her and I couldn’t help but love watching them engage.

Something else I appreciated about this book is that Ms. Norris didn’t weigh the story down with tragic back stories for the characters. They are all in law enforcement in one form or another and the present is what’s emphasized rather than their pasts. I’m not saying how they came to be in the present isn’t important but where they’ve been isn’t as important as where they’re going. The only caveat to that is that I didn’t get to see how Scarlet came to be interested in Aiden before he enters the picture and she’s admitting to herself that she’s been attracted since the first time they met. That was glossed over but it didn’t kill the book for me. I was cheering for them as soon as Aiden walked into the room and started taking charge. It was intoxicating.

I could happily read more stories with Scarlet, Roman and Aiden at center stage. The chemistry was there and so was the love.

This is a quick read for someone who doesn’t have much time but wants a story that is totally satisfying. I’ll be checking out more Ms. Norris’ books to find other great stories.

Brokenhearted and grieving, Leah Woodworth’s heart is filled with regret for never confessing her love to Patterson Elder. His loss haunts her dreams and she can’t set eyes on his brothers, James and Vincent without seeing his face. Having denied her attraction to them until it was too late, how can they possibly still want her?

James and Vincent were sure Leah was the one from the moment they met her. Patterson had always shared that belief, taking every chance to convince her that she was meant to be theirs. With Patterson gone, James and Vincent are deep in their own mourning and at a loss as to why Leah avoids them. When she is offered an opportunity that may take her permanently out of Divine, they realize time has run out and seize what may be the last chance they have to make her theirs forever.

When you read this book make sure you also grab a box of tissues. Leah’s book is a very touching story about loss and finding love again. Having been through the pain of losing someone like Leah did, not in the same manner but someone that I could have and should have; I could not help but understand her pain and just where she was coming from. Her story shows us that love is strong but you have to reach for it and hold on tight because you never know when it could slip from your grasp. Leah learns this the hard way, but thankfully she has two men that want nothing more than to help her to heal. Vincent and James are more than willing to let Leah make her own decisions and give her time but when it looks as if their time is running out what else can these two men do but fight for the woman that they love?

I cannot tell you how many times I had to stop and catch my breath with this book. The pain and the love that these characters have for one another is immense. Leah loved all three men and losing one before they even have a chance has her tied up in knots and not knowing where to go from here. The emotions that Vincent and James go through are just as strong. The three are wonderful together but Leah must figure things out for herself. She knows what her heart feels but can she give it again or is she just setting herself up for more pain? The love that the two men have for Leah is so strong and shows in everything that they do. I loved seeing how happy they could make Leah and how much that they cared for her.

Not only did I enjoy watching their relationship take shape but I also enjoyed seeing many of the other characters and their relationships grow. I am excited to see more from Kendry and Jared. It is obvious that the brothers are good men. I especially liked the moving scene where Leah listens one more time to Patterson’s heart. Like I said make sure you have those tissues handy.

This story had me right from the start and did not let go. The story moves along nicely and the characters quickly endear themselves to you. I am a big fan of the Divine Creek Ranch series and it seems that it only gets better with each new book.

Give Beck & Call a try because Ms. Holly loaded this novel up with all the good stuff. The author introduced three characters that are all unique, quirky in their own way, and how they all mesh is a wonderful orchestration of personalities.

Damien is the aloof control freak with money to burn and a heart to protect. Jake is hardened ex-military with some experiences that inadvertently come in handy but who is doing his darnedest to stay away from the innocent and delightful Mia. Mia is the sweet custard filling in the middle of the treat. Yes, she’s a nice girl with a yen to please those she cares for but there’s nothing vanilla about this girl. She thinks she’s bland but when a case comes their way at the investigative company she works for, it means taking on a new challenge where her special skill and sunny personality provides the edge they need.

In the course of the case, Mia finds out more about herself than she thought possible and it’s very exciting. The reason why it’s such a page turner is the fire and sparks that erupt between Jake and Mia. The seduction was set in motion in the first chapter and the rest of the book takes a reader on a journey of sexual exploration, revelation and relationship development. Ms. Holly has perfected the telling of a romance while between the sheets, in the kitchen or wherever else passion overtakes her characters. Interspersed throughout are insights into what makes the characters tick because the point of view is told through all three characters, but Mia’s POV is a bit more prominent.

While reading the love scenes I saw the characters share secrets and insights about themselves which made what they were doing less about sex and more about falling in love. It wasn’t just about touching each other’s bodies but their hearts. The hardest heart to reach was Damien’s. His situation was unexpected and I really felt for him. However, once the HEA was reached, I had the distinct wish that he, with Jake and Mia at his back, would stand up once and for all to the perpetrator of his greatest hurt and stand tall and proud and tell that person that they had no more power over him, that he found people who love and believe in him. Because that is what Damien found in Mia and Jake – people who really won’t let him down, who believe in him and love him no matter what. And for me, that was the absolute most stupendously wonderful and powerful moment in the book. If I had to choose whose story was most compelling, I’d choose Damien’s.

Less a reader think this novel is only about sex, I have to mention the very devious little drama that plays out. There’s a bit of corporate espionage going on but I had no idea which way it was going to go, and when the conflict came to a crisis point, Ms. Holly presented a gripping and exciting conclusion which included a bit of military style help, cool gadgets and some crazy and delusional people to mess things up. It was very action packed.

If I could ask for things to make this book better, it would have been to get a clearer insight into Jake, to understand how Jake fit into the club scene. It was sort of hinted at and it was definitely titillating and intriguing but I was left unsatisfied. I can guess it was because it might have detracted from the main story but … just what was Jake and Curtis’s connection when they gave each other those looks? Did I miss something? One thing is for sure, this book is easy to re-read, so maybe I’ll figure it out with round two. A clever thing I did figure out was the novel’s title. I got a kick out of that.

Beck & Call is truly a romantic erotic story not to miss. Fans of Ms. Holly can be excited about this one; it’s a great showcase of her storytelling strengths. I’m a happy reader.

Meanwhile, she turns to Van, Kaden’s colleague and friend, for solace, but comfort turns to sizzling sex and mutual feelings she never expected.

He’s shocked to learn the details of Aimee’s kinky tryst and jealous of the bond that exists between her and Van. Kaden doesn’t plan on losing his wife to another man, especially now when he and Aimee are finally being honest about what they need from each other.

Can their marriage survive and thrive with their new wicked passions?

After ten years of marriage Aimee Ryan finds out that her husband Kaden has cheated on her. She is hurt, devastated and disappointed, and so she turns to her friend Van for comfort and support. Van offers his support but he soon finds that he is completely attracted to Aimee and Aimee feels the same way about him. So instead of holding back and not exploring these feeling, Aimee gives in and has an affair with Van who also happens to be her husband Kaden’s colleague.

Kaden Ryan was feeling lonely and unloved by Aimee–she seemed to never make time to be intimate with him so he turned to his friend Van’s assistant Tonya for sexual soothing. For him it was just sex nothing more but when his wife Aimee found out he knew that he had hurt her. Kaden had to find a way to get Aimee to forgive him and to give their marriage another try. He had to find a way to put the spark back into their marriage.

Soul Fire is book three in the Souls Entwined series, and it’s all about the sexual awakening of Aimee and Kaden, and how they brought their marriage back from the brink of divorce. Their marriage and sex life was routine, with each wanting more from the other but did not know how to ask for it. However, once Kaden found out the things Aimee did with Van, he wanted to recreate it and embellish on it

The characters of Aimee and Kaden as well as Van and Tonya helped create a story that was interesting and enjoyable. Nichelle Gregory created characters that pulled you into their story and made you root for them. There was a little Dom/sub action going on with all four characters which was entertaining but never fully fleshed out. We got a glimpse of the role Tonya played as a submissive to Kaden, and also the same with Aimee and Van. Kaden made Aimee describe what she and Van did and then he recreated it with her; however he never said what he and Tonya did.

Also, I couldn’t quite understand how Van went from being in love with Aimee and willing to be a part of a threesome because he just needed to be near her, to dating Tonya. There was no explanation and knowing how hurt Aimee was with Kaden cheating with Tonya why would Van date someone who hurt the woman he professed to love? Also the ending of the book was abrupt and left a lot of questions unanswered.

Soul Fire is a good story to read, it will leave you with questions but it will also show you how two people who think they know one another can come to realize that there is always more to learn.

While every instinct she has tells her to keep running, the pull that these men have on her is so strong that she hesitates…and gives in. For now.

Travis Beaumont and Kent Freeman enjoy a loving relationship on Moone Mountain. But when Travis rescues the beautiful young Brooke Adams, both men end up falling for her. They’ve almost given up on their dream of adding a submissive girl to their “family” to make a ménage relationship. However, she refuses to tell them much about herself, although her nightmares and scars are a sure indication that the girl’s in big trouble.

When Brooke’s ex catches up with her, he’s intent on wreaking revenge. Can the love of her two cowboys give her the strength necessary to overcome his torment? And can the skill and courage of the two men lead them to save her before it is too late?

Kent and Travis are certainly a dynamic duo of sex, strength and confidence. These two together would be the undoing of any female’s will. Brooke does not stand a chance against their charm, yet he seems to hold her own and stick to her guns when it comes to them, as she refuses to put herself into another deadly situation.

Kent and Travis really are everything I would want in men. They are have great values and seem to just be all around good guys. Granted, Kent can push a bit too hard at times, but that is why he has Travis to help balance him out. They are only missing the submissive female of their dreams, and I so wish I was in Brooke’s shoes to be that girl to help complete their ménage.

Brooke is someone who you immediately want to protect and would be willing to fight besides. It is clear to me that she has had a rough past, but it did not break her the way it would many people. She still has inner strength and fight left in her. Enough that she ran to try to change things, shame she doesn’t think she can trust anyone, as the people around her truly want to help. They did not blame her for that and either could I. I just wanted her to realize that what she needed was right in front of her, as long as she had the courage to take it.

The plot of the story was amazing. With BDSM erotica I have read a few stories about a so called Dominant who is really a control freak looking to destroy what they see as a weaker person. I am glad Brooke did not let this happen to her, and I think it also helps teach people as well as prove to be entertaining. The dynamic definitely keep me interested from beginning to end, especially with the various twist and turns the story takes at times. I would definitely recommend you read it, and would certainly read it again myself.

But he also knows that she has been firmly under his grandmother’s control, and against his side of the family. When Sylvia comes to Magnus and Slade and tells them she wants to escape, along with Sydney Saeter (Logan’s ex-wife) they are thrilled, but cautious. If she is sincere, they may get the woman both want in their lives. They agree to a trial period, and as the forces that side with Grimm attack, they work alongside Magnus and the rest of the family to thwart the attacks. Can three wounded souls manage to come together and heal each other? Will Sylvia be able to convince Magnus and Slade of her true intent?

I love this world, with the Norse gods living in modern times, and it is my favorite literary ’soap opera’; just when you think everything is clear, Ms. Bell throws another curveball at you, bringing characters in and scrambling the story just a bit more.

Magnus is strong and determined. He is protective of his family, and that family just keeps growing. He has wanted Sylvia since she was married to his father, Thor, but has been afraid she will never see him for himself. I like that, when the opportunity presents itself to have everything he has ever wanted, he remains cautious, hoping for the best, but expecting nothing. With Slade, he has found a sort of contentment, but when Slade tells him that Sylvia is theirs, he is optimistic that they can have it all.

Slade is Loki’s son, and was tortured almost to death by Grimm before the family freed him. He is strong in spirit and determined to have the two people he has foreseen as his mates; Magnus and Sylvia. Still recovering from his torture, he still is willing to protect what is his, and learns that his father never stopped loving him, which gives him strength to keep going. I like Slade, with his core of inner strength and his totally off the wall sense of humor. He brings laughter into Magnus’ life and to all those he touches.

Sylvia is determined to break with the family that has controlled and abused her for so long. She didn’t realize she was as brave and strong as she was, until she took the future into her own hands and asked Magnus to help her make the break. She is stunned when Slade and Magnus claim her, and is determined to prove she will not bring disaster down on the growing Tate/Saeter clan. I liked watching as she realized how Magnus felt, and as she overcame the idea of having a relationship with her former step-son.

This is a story of three wounded souls, none complete on their own, but together they are so much more than apart. There are dangers around every corner, and some surprises I didn’t see coming that were an absolute delight. New additions to the family, besides Sylvia and Sydney, folks I hope to see in the future as Ms. Bell continues to spin this web of intrigue and passion to include more of the God of the Norse mythology. I recommend this for those with the imagination to believe in the unbelievable, and get lost in the passion and heat of True Destiny.

Emma Snow makes her living as an escort to some of London’s richest men. What begins as a routine call to one of her clients ends in his murder. Detective Mark Hargreeves enters her life and is now assigned to protect her, because she is a witness to the crime.

Emma knows he probably would not want and could not love a woman who makes her living pleasuring other men, but she is willing to do anything to have him as her own.

Emma Snow is about to have a most unusual day. A paid escort to high ranking men, she has a very different life to many, but as a woman alone in the world, she needs to support herself somehow. Blindfolded with one of her clients, she has the sensation that something is different this time, but is blissfully unaware of what, exactly, until she’s readying to leave and finds a macabre sight in his study. Sir Michael had been murdered. Emma’s day is turned upside down, and the man of her dreams – a Police Detective of all things – suddenly enters her life.

This is an interesting and well-written Historical novel. I enjoyed Emma’s frankness about her work and sexual relations. There was no air of “missishness” – which I personally dislike – but also she wasn’t blunt to the point of crudeness. I feel the author has done an excellent job of balancing Emma’s character so she is relatable but still exceedingly sexual for that time period. I was a little disappointed how difficult I found it initially to relate to the hero, Detective Mark Hargreeves, but this was mostly due to the story being from Emma’s point of view, and written in the first person. Seeing everything from Emma’s perspective was interesting, but it did make me wonder at Mark’s thoughts and reactions, how things appeared from his eyes. I felt this became particularly difficult a few times in the story when Mark would seem to change his mind on something – do a complete about-face – and I’d not really feel like I had a proper understanding on why. This also made it harder for me to feel connected to Mark, and I think that was a great shame.

This book is a little bit different from many other erotic romances that I’ve read previously, in that even though Emma’s attraction to Mark is clear from the beginning, their relationship is quite platonic for the first half of the book. Emma continues to see her clients and while I enjoyed this and the progression of the story, die-hard romantics might not be happy to see Emma sexually active with numerous men while being distracted and entranced with Mark. This isn’t a standard hero-and-heroine-fall-in-love and are monogamous style of story and I can understand if some readers don’t appreciate that. I personally didn’t mind Emma’s sexual exploits with her clients – indeed I feel it gave me greater insight into Emma’s character. I felt there were a few small inconsistencies in the plot, particularly surrounding Mark and his past, but overall this was a small niggle and not enough to dampen my enjoyment of the story.

This is a fresh and very different style of historical romance book. Brimming with tons of sex and a very independent heroine Emma’s lifestyle is enough to make me blush at times, but I greatly enjoyed reading of her escapades. There is a wonderful, happy ending that made the romantic in me very satisfied. An interesting, fresh kind of historical erotic novel.

When the sodden, delirious witch drifts into Kyle s arms, his otter dual instincts tell him to get her to the Donovans as fast as possible. Even though one particular surfer-dude Donovan broke his heart.

Declan Donovan continually kicks himself for pushing Kyle away, but his touchy combination of water, earth and lightning magic is too volatile, and Kyle wanted more than Deck was ready to give.

When they come together to help Meaghan control her new magic, it leads the Agency straight to the child of five bloods. They ll have to dive head-first into total trust in their magics, in themselves and in each other to save the child and stop the Agency once and for all.

Meaghan knows she’s dying, but she won’t let an innocent child die if she can save her. I loved reading a story with a blind heroine and I felt for her as prepared to die sooner to save the child. I immediately fell in love Kyle when he rescued her, even though I admit I had a bit of a learning curve about Otterkin and what all that meant. I think the author does a decent job handling it for any readers like me, who pick up the fourth book in a series and try it out.

He takes her to his former lover Declan Donovan, a witch that is uniquely suited to help Meaghan learn her new water magic, but he also needs Kyle and Meaghan to reassure him that he won’t blow up the world in the process.

There is a lot of action as they race to keep the child safe from the Agency, and while I’m sure reading the past books would have helped with the confusion I felt about a few things Agency related, I was still able to follow along and get swept up in the action.

This is a relationship where they all love each other equally and the scenes between just Kyle and Declan were equally as hot as when all three of them came together. I really enjoyed their relationship and while it took a bit of a backseat to the action, it was still very sexy and enjoyable.
