On the run from a vicious queen, the three must learn what can bond a princess, a law man, and a rogue…in order to save their lives and the throne.

The Rogue is a book hot enough to melt Hershey Kisses. Can three people put aside everything they want and believe in, and join when their Heart Stone glows are will they turn from what fate has picked for them as their mate and go their own way.

I enjoyed reading The Rogue but would recommend starting with book one, even though book 6 works okay as a stand-alone book and is extremely good. Things like the history of finding ones Heart Stone and true mate or mates are cover more in depth in the first few books of the series. The plot in The Rogue was good and fast paced with a lot of action and a lot of hot sex scenes. I dearly love the rogue brogue in the book, which made me think of a hot Irish or Scottish man. I found myself falling for the Rogue McTavish because in my book he was not the bad guy everyone made him out to be even though he was a law breaker. Then again, I had to laugh when the lawman Decker came face to face with McTavish and the princess Arianna and things started to heat up.

The Rogue” was an all around good story and I would recommend it to my friends.

Now he needs to figure out how to turn away from the only person who makes him feel alive…before whoever is sending him threats decides Lincoln needs to suffer more than he already has.

Jay Miller is surrounded by grief and misery until he finally gives in to all those years of sexual fantasies about being with another guy. Realizing he’s ended up in the arms of the man who caused his wife’s accident, he tries to pull away. But how can he give up a friendship he needs more than anything — a friendship and a love that could save him? He may not have time to make the choice before someone else destroys it all.

This is one of the best books I’ve read since I started reading m/m books. Sloan Parker does it again with her sophomore release. Her characters, Lincoln and Jay, are so well written that you fall in love with them and are cheering them on towards their happily ever after despite the odds against them. The emotions Linc and Jay go through cover pretty much everything. Have a big box of tissues handy when you read this story. I love the idea that Linc and Jay get together in spite of adversity and the harm Linc caused Jay makes this story truly heartwarming. The feelings these two men go through to work their way to being together is heart wrenching.

The secondary characters in the story are also very well written, whether it is Linc’s sister, niece, nephews, and Paul (his ex) or even Jay’s crazy family as they deal with Jay’s wife’s death. Seeing how Linc and Jay deal with the threats to Linc that started when he was in jail and continue once he is out and all they do for each other is one of the things that make this story so great. The guessing on who the person is goes on throughout most of the story and I think most people will be surprised by who it actually is.

You do not want to miss this AWESOME story about forgiveness and conflict and working through it all to have a happily ever after. I highly recommend Breathe by Sloan Parker and cannot wait to read for the next book.

When Laurie, son of a wealthy London baronet, takes a homeless young man off the bitter winter streets, he only means to shelter him. But Sasha is beautiful and passionate, and he knows what he wants. Soon the two are entangled in a wild and illicit romance. Sasha, an illegal alien, has dangerous connections and a violent underworld past that won’t let him go. Privileged Laurie has problems of his own — a brutal father who holds the keys to Laurie’s golden cage and would rather kill him than accept his son and heir is gay, let alone in love with a street urchin. Laurie’s only hope is to run. In a Romani encampment with Sasha, he finds not only a safe haven but sexual fulfilment beyond his wildest dreams.

But their new happiness is fragile. Sasha’s secrets run too deep, and he vanishes, leaving Laurie desolate, as much an exile in his own city as Sasha has been. Now Laurie must grow up and find his own strength. Can he break free of his suffocating aristocratic world in time to save his lover and himself?

A chance encounter may just save Laurie’s life, he just doesn’t know it yet. Laurie Fitzroy is the young son of privilege. His family is wealthy and if not warm, at least he’s not out on the street like the homeless boy he encounters at the opera. Laurie’s gilded cage is about to be rattled by gypsy Sasha, a homeless but proud boy. The novel is set in modern day London and pairs a baronet’s son with a roaming gypsy. The two have instant chemistry and the romance is lovely and moving. Laurie and Sasha create warmth and charm whenever they’re together that offsets the cold and freezing weather. This dichotomy is essential to the story as well, especially so when Sasha and later Laurie are on the streets. This is the perfect winter story to read wrapped up in a blanket.

The plot is laced with good tension as the outcome is Sasha and Laurie’s relationship is dubious at best. While the characters are very well developed and fully three dimensional, the setting and plot have some uneven bumps. The pacing is uneven and tends to leap forward in fits and starts. The writing is very formal and chunky, not especially easy or light to read. If you’ve read other books by Harper Fox, you’ll be familiar with this style of writing. The setting is contemporary but there is an old fashioned sensibility that is almost at odds with the modern time frame.

A Midwinter Prince should appeal to fans of the author first and foremost. Fox’s unique voice and style of writing are not for everyone and some may find the prose difficult and/or awkward. However the lovely romance and story reminiscent of star crossed lovers should help compensate for any problems. Passionate characters and good dramatic tension create a story that feels like a throwback to historical stories yet remains a contemporary.

Black Cat Ink is the third story in the Bellingham series that involves the same characters but a totally separate story. This is a good introduction to the series with its wacky elements and off the wall characters. The story is meant to be over the top, ridiculous in a tongue in cheek kind of way. Tiffin is a slave boy, branded and chained, trained to serve and eager to please. That’s all he knows; his past life is a mystery, wiped from his mind. Sold to a grim fortress and facing a bleak future, he seeks comfort where he can find it, in the arms and at the feet of Sergeant Zander. He’s happy to give over control of his body to that dominant, delightful man — but someone else keeps stealing into his mind, taking over.

Tiffin doesn’t know how or who. All he knows is how much trouble he’s in, and how much worse it’s going to get…unless Zander can help him discover what’s going on, before he literally loses his mind.

A slave’s mind may be the most dangerous weapon. Tiffin wakes up as a slave without any memory of how he came to be one. He has no knowledge of his past, his family, or how he became a slave. In Amaranth, slavery is so common that no one cares who Tiffin was or if he should be a slave. His mind holds mysteries that he can’t understand and a dangerous mage is making a power play through that blank slate. Only the care of a Sergeant may save Tiffin’s life and his mind, but at the cost of his heart.

Hidden Heart is a fantasy story about real life slavery. In Amaranth slavery is an accepted part of life. Slaves are worth nothing and treated like animals. This comes across in a fantasy BDSM atmosphere. I say fantasy since none of this is true to life or even an accurate portrayal of BDSM but for those that enjoy total fantasy stories, this series offers that. Pain similar to a toothache can also be https://unica-web.com/watch/2011/list.html purchase generic levitra felt due to the presence of oral cancer. Lacking of exercise- Tight schedule, short deadline, extra work pressure, financial crisis, family liabilities are those things a man get stuck in this young https://unica-web.com/ENGLISH/2015/GA2015-minutes-1.html order cialis age that he hardly gets time to be physically fit with the help of which men have been able to improve their erectile problems. The characteristics of Kamagra Oral Jelly correspond to the same time as taking online pharmacy cialis in the body.In clinical trials they found out that Vailf lasted longer compared to cialis and it works for up to 6 hours. The third story in the series can easily be read alone with new characters and a totally new situation that happens to be in the same environment as the previous books. Here the main slave Tiffin is lost and confused between his new masters and the powerful mage that sometimes controls his mind.

Caught between the opposing forces, the fate of one slave is of consequence to no one… except a young Sergeant that’s taking a liking to Tiffin. The relationship between the two builds easily and offers comfort with discipline. The Sergeant is not a loving master but he’s also not cruel and that idea of safety attracts Tiffin. He yearns to belong to someone who can care for him and keep the daily cruel injustices to a minimum, if possible. There’s no sense of consent or fairness when applied to slaves and Tiffin sees his only chance at happiness being with Zander. At the same time the plot involving a power play by a distant mage is interesting but left questioning. Why this happened and who Tiffin was – how was he chosen? – and any number of questions are never answered.

Hidden Heart is not a story that will appeal to everyone. Its real life slavery themes will bother some readers and I’d recommend this only to those that can and want to indulge in fantasy situations. There is no question that the sex is rape between the two main characters, although as a slave Tiffin not only accepts this but makes the best of it and comes to want it. Readers bothered by this should avoid the book while those that won’t mind such in this fantasy setting may enjoy the interesting story paired with hot sex.

Message in a bottle.

Somewhere in the cobwebbed cellar of the decrepit antebellum mansion known as Ballineen are the legendary Lee bottles — and Austin Gillespie is there to find them. The last thing on his mind is a hot and heavy romance with handsome bad boy Jeff Brady. But Jeff has other ideas and, after one intoxicating night, so does Austin.

The only problem is they have different ideas. Jeff doesn’t believe in love at first sight, and even if he did, he’s buried more deeply in the closet than those famous missing bottles of vintage Madeira. Popping a cork or two is one thing. Popping the question? No way. No how.

Unless Austin is ready to give up on another dream, he’s going to have to figure out how to make sure the lights go on — and stay on — in Georgia.

The lure of a possible fortune in wine, a handsome bad boy and murder – and poor Austin’s just arrived at Ballineen. All the elements of Southern Gothic are here in abundance: the decadence, the decay, a highly dysfunctional, wealthy clan in decline, lives bound by traditions worn about the edges and questionable morals. Once the elements are in place, though, Mr. Lanyon turns the genre on its head. Much to my relief, this is not the heavy, plodding miasma of Faulkner. Austin’s observations and internal commentary render the story darkly funny rather than depressing, and the Cashels are close enough to over-the-top to qualify as parody. (Even the Irish place-name of the house is a sly wink at Gone With the Wind’s Tara.)

As a sommelier, that rare breed of person who truly has the ability to distinguish all the subtle nuances of a good wine rather than simply mouthing the right oenological terms, Austin could easily have come across as an elitist snob. Instead, he immediately charms the reader. Without too much in the way of “telling”, we know in the first few paragraphs that Austin faces his task at Ballineen with a certain sense of imminent disaster. The effect of the drug lasts up to four hours (30min and 4hours) prior to performing sexual intercourse. levitra on line Today, a many internet-based online suppliers have come up with ease of availability and provide the medicine t the doorstep. buying levitra from canada Their interventions viagra cialis achat focus on batterer accountability and responsibility. This is a man whose reputation and livelihood are at stake, and yet he maintains a healthy level of sardonic wit about the whole mess (“Just make a hard right after the end of the civilized world.”) Despite his father’s disapproval, the occasional snarky remarks from people who don’t know better, and a former stint as an underwear model, Austin has no doubts about his identity. He is both gay and a sommelier and makes no apologies for either.

Jefferson Brady, who soon becomes Austin’s lust interest, is another story. Selectively closeted, Jeff sleeps with men, but bristles at the suggestion that he might be gay. The tension between the two men, the constant push and pull of identity and assumption, of denial and doubt, lends a tinderbox snap and spark to the story, delicious and anxious. With an unwavering single first-person POV, Mr. Lanyon lets the reader see enough of Austin’s life and his past that we desperately want to see him happy. Perhaps the only issue I had with the story, and it’s a small one, is that I would have liked a little more at the resolution. Call me sentimental.

Though I’m a bit embarrassed to admit it, this was my first Josh Lanyon book. It most certainly won’t be my last. With beautiful, literate prose, he weaves a tale that defies categorization, (Southern Gothic Parody Mystery Oenological Gay Romance is not a genre I’ve come across before) and he does it with style. At no point did I find it necessary to suspend disbelief. Austin’s knowledge of and love for wine comes across as genuine, as an integral part of his character. His over-achieving family, Jeff’s deeply closeted denial, and even some of the neurotic Cashels transcend parody, all too believable in their worst moments. With love scenes that achieve lyric status and a bright, engaging mix of humor and tension, this is not your garden-variety romance. This is a Château Margaux among the Gallos.

Rabin Squire is on top of the world. At long last, everything is going his way. He’s about to go into the studio with none other than Brent Rose to put together a new album for his band, the Indigo Knights. Okay, so there’re currently only two members of the band, but with Brent’s help, that’ll soon change. Things are looking up.

Then there’s Izzy, Brent’s cousin. Rabin’s never been interested in a guy before but he can sure tell when one is gorgeous, and Izzy is that. He’s also funny, and sweet and…sexy as hell.

Since he’s not gay, Rabin never expected to have a fling with Izzy. But Izzy says their having sex doesn’t make him gay. Rabin’s not so sure about that but if Izzy’s good with it, what harm can come of it? Izzy agrees; no one else needs to know.

Then an even bigger opportunity means that Rabin has to move away. So if the thing with Izzy was no big deal, why does it hurt when it comes to an end?

Love is love, regardless of who it is that falls in love, and Jet Mykles knows love, or at least how to write about it. Indigo Knights: Squire is the first book in Jet Mykles fantastic new series. While Brent and Hell from the Heaven Sent series, are a part of this new series, you do not have to have read the Heaven Sent series to understand or appreciate Indigo Knights.

Squire follows Rabin Squire as he tries to get his band together, and make the most of this great and probably last opportunity to make music for a living. That’s hard enough to do without the distraction of a surprising and male love interest, Brent’s cousin Izzy.

I love that Izzy is going to be a chef and that Rabin is a musician. Music and food is such a great and natural pairing. Izzy and Rabin are pursuing their passions and are excited to expand their horizons. I think that’s something most readers will relate to.

I love Jet Mykles’s use of clubs and dancing as a point of awakening or self-enlightenment for her characters. Music and dancing is such an expression of ones self. Ms. Mykles will take her characters who are confused, or a bit lost, maybe searching for something that they are not even aware of, and send them clubbing. It’s in the clubs, these very public places where they get their private, personal revelations, or at least get started on the path to finding their epiphany. Formulated using the same ingredients as that of stores for viagra , which made it highly demanded by most of ED patients. It has invented lots of medicines for that purposes and day by day the research has been improved and the new generation of prescription cialis no prescription usa drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction. canadian cialis no prescription Additionally it is considered the best treatments to enlarge the male organ.

Rabin is not gay, so when he goes out for a night on the town to pick up a girl, any girl, and ends up back home and in bed with Izzy, he’s a bit confused. This leads to the first of many all important “are you gay or do you just sleep with men” conversations. As Izzy so succinctly put’s it “Sex doesn’t make you gay. Gay is a way of life, an acceptance of who you are and what you like. What we just did was fabulous—amazing, stupendous—but it was just sex.”

Izzy is enthusiastic about everything, for the most part he just exudes happiness. Izzy is a happy guy, but some of his flair is his way of masking his vulnerability, he doesn’t want to let Rabin know how attached he is to him. His usually exuberant attitude makes his attempts at being cavalier and worldly all the more endearing. Izzy tries so hard to maintain this air of confidence with Rabin, so I think it’s great when it’s revealed that there are things that he’s never done, and is nervous about trying. Of course when Rabin tells Izzy that he is moving to L.A. for his band, Izzy tries to be strong and stoic, but fails miserably, and you really just want to reach into the computer and give him a hug.

It isn’t until Rabin gets back together with his old band, Zane, Marcus, and Sam, that he truly realizes how far he has come and how much he had changed. Zane and Rabin have been friends and band mates since college, but Rabin never truly liked Marcus or Sam and time apart has not improved their relationship. Marcus is so arrogant and conceited, convinced that he is the savior of the band. While I don’t recommend picking a fight with the very homophobic jerk in your band as a means of coming out publicly, I do applaud Rabin for finally standing up to him.

Rabin’s time in L.A. might not have been great but it wasn’t a complete waste, he met Danny there. The amount of time you have known someone doesn’t always matter when it comes to friendship. Sometimes people just click, Danny and Rabin are a perfect example of this. Within hours of meeting Rabin is baring his soul to Danny, telling him things that he can’t bring himself to tell Zane, at least not yet. The reason that Rabin can do this is that he doesn’t have a history with Danny, there are no expectations or preconceived notions, Rabin can just be himself, and Danny understands. If Rabin’s friendship with Zane is indicative of his past, then Danny is definitely representative of Rabin’s future. Although I do hope that Zane comes around.

Hot sex, Hot boys, Hot music. Indigo Knights: Squire, has great characters and a story you can get lost in. I’m very eagerly and only slightly impatiently waiting for the next in this great new series.

There were parts of this short story that made me cheer because it worked out the conflict of choosing between the two men so quickly but at the same time the same “resolution” felt a little too convenient. I had to remind myself a couple of times that, because this is fiction, the author has the ability to make the characters as open minded as she needs them to be. I think because I could imagine all types of conflict arising from two men wanting the same woman that the easy acceptance of Karl and Grant (both admittedly, non-gay or even non-bi) to participating in combinations with and without Rena so enthusiastically little unbelievable. On the other hand, the scenes are so erotic I didn’t dwell on the easy capitulation for very long, I simply enjoyed the well written and creative visuals. *VBG*.

Try not to get too hung up on the minor negative I mentioned. Grant has a jealous streak and is clearly the more dominate of the two males but Karl is no pushover. He literally gives as good as he gets. Ms. Haynes doesn’t skimp on plot or character development. You know where they came from and who they are today without overwhelming this novella with un-necessary details. The move from the M/F interactions into the ménage scene transitions well without being hurried. I honestly enjoyed this story and look forward to what Ms. Haynes may have in store for us next.

The holidays have arrived and Kyle can’t wait to get away with his lover. What he doesn’t know is that Nate has a special surprise waiting at their destination. As old memories of a failed attempt of a threesome surface, Kyle’s determined to face them. But will it strengthen their relationship or break what they’ve been building for the last two years?

The best gifts are worth sharing over and over again.

This author was a new-to-me author, but this won’t be the last of Marty Rayne’s books I read. At first, I wasn’t sure I’d like the book. The characters, primarily Kyle, have a lot of emotional baggage. But instead of being ultra-emotionally heavy, this book is a good balance of kink and feelings. The writing is tight and I found once I started the book, I couldn’t put it down.

As I said, there is lots of emotion in this book. It’s no surprise. Kyle lived through a soul-beating time and the memories still haunt him. He’s scarred and scared, but in Nate’s willing hands, he can heal. I liked that Kyle had issues. It made him more realistic and I rooted for him to find closure and to move past his yesterdays. Then there is Nate, his partner. Nate is a Dom, but he’s so much more. It is necessary for the person to take the tablet as soon as you cheapest viagra price energyhealingforeveryone.com can. He wants to help his lover heal in any way possible. I loved reading the surrender between them as they break down Kyle’s issues.

But I’ve forgotten someone. To round out the ménage, there is Dakota. I honestly think Dakota was my favorite character because where Kyle had issues, Dakota had serious scars. There are few books and characters that stick with me past the last page. Dakota is one of those rare gems. I want to know what happened to him once Kyle and Nate’s story closed. Dakota has had a rough life, but his experiences shaped who he became. Those same experiences are essential to Nate and Kyle.

Oh, and did I mention the love scenes? I’m still fanning myself. Whew. The devotion between Kyle and Nate is palpable and when Dakota enters the mix….watch out.

If you want a holiday story that’s certain to leave you squirming and ready to hunt out that special someone, then you need to read A Gift Worth Sharing. I give it 4.5 cherries.
