Folklore researcher and PhD candidate Hank Caldwell has a problem. He’s come to Japan to get information for his book on supernatural creatures called yokai. Along the way he discovers that yokai are not only real, but one of them is determined to make Hank his forever lover.

Translator Daisuke Tachibana knows all about the shadowy figure in a business suit who keeps accosting Mr. Caldwell. He knows the creature must be stopped, but how? Their upcoming research trip to a remote, hot springs resort will be exactly the opening the yokai is looking for. Now if only Tachibana could stop thinking about Mr. Caldwell’s naked, freckled body submerged in steaming water long enough to formulate a plan to keep the amorous creature at bay.

The path to true love is never easy, but some helpful “Fingers” may do the trick. Canadian Hank Caldwell is in Japan to do folklore research. Hank’s writing a book about the customs and myths of Japan and is hoping to find more information about a spirit called yokai. Unfortunately Hank gets his very own yokai nicknamed Fingers. Fingers is all to happy to help Hank in any way he needs, after all Hank is Fingers’ soul mate! The energetic spirit might just drive Hank into the arms of his translator and guide Daisuke Tachibana.

The Red Thread of Forever Love is a thoroughly delightful novella. The romance between Hank and Daisuke takes place over a few days but it feels much longer. You really get the sense that these two are friends, companions, lovers, and will absolutely live happily ever after. The final resolution is very romantic and lovely, lending a satisfying ending to a story I didn’t want to end. After entering a certain age group men no longer experience erectile on line viagra problems after the proper consideration of such drugs. The sad part about the condition is that you lose your self viagra viagra online confidence to perform sex with you partner. The problem of ED increases with age. cialis on line see that Impotence caused by other diseases: Impotence can occur as a result of more helpful tabs buy cialis online increasing age and keep believing that impotence is inevitable.

The characters are nicely developed and you get a real sense of their personalities, hopes, dreams, desires, and fears. Fingers is easily the best character, emerging as a romantic, lovelorn spirit who simply wants to be with someone. His bits of dialogue are truly some of the most hilarious I’ve read. The writing is very, very good and the dialogue is filled with quips, banter, and witty conversations that make the story fly by so fast you won’t put this down. The story is filled with charm, romance, humor, and a great eye catching setting.

The story takes place in Japan and offers a wealth of detail about the culture. From the misconceptions about Canadians to the holiday traditions, there is so much more to this story than just a romance. While the romance is lovely, the interesting background and culture really steal the show. From the quick mystery to karaoke to fortune telling and the yokai history, this novella manages to pack everything in while never overwhelming the reader or moving too fast. Instead this is simply delightful and entertaining to read from beginning to end. If anything I wanted more, but that always happens with a great book and isn’t a bad thing at all.

I can easily recommend this story to anyone looking for something different. Although set in Japan, this is still a contemporary romance with charm, humor, wit, courage, fears, hopes, and dreams. Although I expected this to be good, I was surprised at just how good this novella turned out to be and hope everyone else loves it just as much.

Firmly-closeted Lieutenant Greg Matthews takes a transfer to space station Saira to make a fresh start. But a rogue military intelligence officer has discovered Greg’s secret and forces him to spy on Karl Webster, the owner of the last gay bar on Saira. The disapproving military authorities want Karl’s bar closed, too, and he’s feeling the heat. He thinks his gorgeous new lover is an ally in his fight, but Greg is reporting back all of Karl’s plans to save the bar. As the campaign against Karl escalates Greg becomes ever more reluctant to deceive the man he’s falling in love with.

Despite his fear Greg is too jittery and unstable to bother with, Karl wants him too much to give him up. He can’t guess the real reason behind Greg’s anxiety — constant fear of what will happen when Karl discovers his deception. The inevitable revelation shatters their relationship and their lives as the blackmailer takes drastic action to silence Karl. Greg must sacrifice everything he’s been trying to protect to undo the damage and save Karl.

When duty turns into love, Greg may lose everything. Greg Matthews has recently transferred to a new military base hoping for a fresh start. He’s determined to keep his desire for other men under wraps so it doesn’t affect his career or the career of anyone in his family. Yet when Greg is blackmailed by a senior officer into getting close to a gay bar owner, Greg is in a no-win situation. Greg’s life is further complicated when he falls in love with Karl and doesn’t know how to get out of his predicament without hurting everyone.

Liar’s Waltz is a tense, angst ridden romance that plays on the familiar theme of hidden secrets. Here Greg is undercover spying on Karl to get information to shut down Karl’s bar but the two have so much chemistry and passion that Greg soon gets embroiled in his own lie. Thus, allowing both progressing and gaining acceptance with its ill-informed consumers. http://robertrobb.com/putting-sb-1070-into-proper-perspective/ free consultation cialis This toxin was discovered after several people were generic cialis 100mg poisoned after eating meat which was not handled appropriately. The tension is high and carries the fast paced action through to the end. The characters are three dimensional with a lot of emphasis on their flaws and confusion. Tough decisions are made and agonized over, lending a lot of introspection and questioning to the characters.

Although this is labeled as a science fiction story, it’s really just a contemporary story set in the military. The idea of a closeted officer not able to be openly gay is one especially relevant in today’s society and contemporary romance fans will like this theme. The writing and pace keeps the story moving and it’s over before you know it. The ending is somewhat over the top, with an almost clichéd romantic gesture that doesn’t really solve anything but sounds good anyway. Other than this problem, the characters do fall in love easily but the story shows why and, with such smoking chemistry, it’s understandable.

There are a few other problems such as infidelity but this is very minor and shouldn’t bother many fans. The alternating viewpoints allow readers to get to know both main characters, to care about them and the tension is always present from beginning to end. The romantic ending with a happy resolution should satisfy romance lovers while the hint of a possible sequel is there. While not without its flaws, Liar’s Waltz is still likely to please.

Carrie Trent has just become the photographer for a gay porn film company where committed couple Cal and Scotty are the stars — the stars of the company and of every fantasy Carrie has. And now she has to be on-set to photograph them while they have sex in a multitude of different moods and positions.

It’s driving her absolutely insane. She loves them, she really does, but her heart just can’t take being on the outside looking in. Carrie can’t quit, though, because the loan shark she thought was an old family friend wants his money right damn now and she just doesn’t have it.

Now her beautiful, sexy men are making her wonder if they’re really gay or maybe a little bit, just-for-her bi, and her financial troubles are pushing her down a really dangerous road. She’s not good at asking for help, but she’s not going to get out of her money mess on her own.

I felt like I was right there with them, going through the story and experiencing the burgeoning desires. There were times I giggled and times I wanted to smack a character upside the head. But in all honesty, my feeling emotionally involved in the story is a mark of a great tale.

Scotty and Cal are fantastic. Opposites, but I could totally picture them together. The details in their scenes made the shots literally pop from the page. I liked their personalities and how they gelled together. I did like Carrie, but there were times she frustrated me. Her motivations for being on set with Cal and Scotty made perfect sense, but I still wanted to ask her why she acted on certain impulses and not others. Still, the triple threat was great to read about because it worked so well.

If you want a story that’s got a little bit of everything, heat, heart, and action, then you need to read Take the Shot. It’s a spicy little gem you won’t want to miss.

Austin thinks driving a 1989 Geo Spectrum fourteen hundred miles in the middle of winter is a bad idea. But he would never forgive himself if the man he loved, Zach Roth, got himself killed in Idaho, so he agrees to go.

Besides, he has something to prove. He wants Zach to know it’s more than just Zach’s deliciously wicked body he adores. And if it takes spending Hanukkah in Zach’s grandma’s old hatchback to prove it, then so be it.

Ever the optimist, Zach believes everything will turn out for the best. But bad weather, robberies, blown gaskets, run-ins with the police, and motel bedspreads of questionable cleanliness seem to conspire against them, and they may need eight days of miracles just to keep each other…and their romance…alive.

What better way to test a relationship than a road trip during the holidays? Zach has been dating Austin for several months and everything is going well. So well in fact Austin wants the two to move in together. Zach is not quite ready for that but decides to drive his grandmother’s car home with his mechanic boyfriend. Little did either of them know their trip would be filled with obstacles.

Love Ahead: Expect Delays is a wonderful, romantic story wrapped up in a quick, entertaining road trip. Together they have a very lovely, engaging dynamic. Their relationship is punctuated by snappy dialogue and hot chemistry.

The road trip portion of the story moves along quickly from disaster to disaster with each problem realistic and interesting. The culmination of so many problems together may be a bit much but the skillful writing keeps the story entertaining. Zach and Austin reveal both their characters and what makes their relationship work in the small touches and words not said. They don’t have to proclaim their love constantly but the affection and emotion between them is evident. Zach’s family, especially his football loving grandmother, is adorable and a nice late addition to the story.

This is one couple I’d definitely love to read more of and hope the author revisits their relationship in the future. Road trips are a staple trope in romance fiction and while the themes are familiar, the story is fresh and fun to read. I easily recommend this for readers and the holiday theme is subtle enough to please without overwhelming. Feel free to read this at any time and enjoy a great story.

Billy “Goldie” Goldean is the biggest pop star in the world and he’s harboring a terrible, career-killing secret: he’s gay. Even with song titles such as “Astral Glider” and “Winking Brown Eye,” few question Goldie’s squeaky-clean teen heartthrob status. That is, until Jethro “Jett” Black, an infamous womanizer and underground punk icon, names him in the pages of Rolling Stone magazine as the celebrity he’d most like to fuck.

After Goldie and Jett hook up at an industry party, Goldie’s management dumps him, Jett’s exes come back to haunt them, and even Goldie’s mother makes a public plea for him to come to his senses. Goldie wants to trust his untamed new lover but the pressures of fame may tear them apart.

This is my first book by either author. I love rocker m/m stories and was really looking forward to reading this one. “Goldie” and Jett are very entertaining characters. I do think Goldie and Jett seem to fall in love very fast, and the story was a little too “fluffy” for me. Even so, I loved that the story is very low angst and that Goldie and Jett stuck together no matter what happened. It is common for men to do fake free sample of cialis http://respitecaresa.org/events/latest-news/page/4/ orgasms The primary reason for faking it is not that expensive like surgical treatments. Also known as Epimedium, it was traditionally found india viagra online in China, where a goat herder accidently consumed it and realized the libido benefits. A drink which contains lycopene cheapest generic viagra offers good prostate health. The characters are flawed but good people.

My main problem with the story is the dialogue got to be too much sometimes, especially during the sex scenes. Sometimes the main characters were talking so much during sex, you forgot they were even having sex. In addition, Jett could be a little self-righteous when talking to others and an infamous womanizer. I think if some of the dialogue was edited out I would have enjoyed the story more and thought it worthy of a higher rating. The story does have some problems for the two men in the aftermath of their old lives crumbling around them and then as they rebuild something new together and this adds a little something to the story that draws the reader.

The simple fact is this: There are both sweet moments and hot sex between Goldie and Jett, they respect and trust each other no matter what is thrown at them and always open with each other. The loveable characters with their devotion to each other and the rocker aspect make this a story I will certainly reread.

As a side note, the amazing cover art is nearly enough to justify the cost of purchase alone! Well done, P. L. Nunn.

Rom is Dasher, the leader of Santa’s shape-shifting team of reindeer. He is the quintessential elf — smart, handsome, charming — and everyone in Santa’s Village wants him. Lon is no exception. He’s hopelessly in love with Rom, but how can he hope to get Rom’s attention? Even if he is now one of the reindeer handlers, he’s still just a plain, ordinary elf, and painfully shy to boot.

Then there’s Wod. As Dancer, he’s both Rom’s second in command and Rom’s best friend. He, too, is devilishly handsome but in a darker and — truth be told — slightly frightening way. At least, he makes Lon’s heart race and his tongue tie in knots.

When Wod unexpectedly offers to help Lon gain Rom’s attention, Lon is completely confused. To make matters worse, Wod is clear that he’d love to play with Lon himself.

Lon is used to the sexual freedom in Santa’s Village but he craves something more meaningful. He wants a real relationship. So what does he do? Keep pining for Rom or play Wod’s special brand of reindeer games?

Rediscover the magic of Christmas! This enchanting holiday tale might be for adults only but will leave you smiling like a kid on Christmas morning. Christmas magic, reindeer shifters, shy elves, and a well intentioned friend with a penchant for sex toys…I know what I want for Christmas. Jet Mykles has created a fabulous world full of magic, friendship, and love.

One of the things I like the most about Jet Mykles’ stories is all the little things, things you might not always notice on the first read. The things that amuse you like the fact that it’s the reindeer Cupid in his elf form that inadvertently starts Lon on his path to find his true love. Or the fact that the word Christmas is used as everything from an exclamation of excitement to an expletive. I simply adore the fact that Santa Clause is actually a woman who wears an enchanted coat. And that all the male elves seem to have three letter names. None of these things are instrumental to the story, but they make the read all the more enjoyable for them. They show quick and long effects on the condition for permitting unforgettable intimacy online prescription cialis to the user. Either for the individual or buy viagra online in for couple, these combinations of treatment can actually help to attain an erection or to sustain one long enough for them to enjoy a better love making session with their partner for various issues. To improve intimacy between partners, the interaction does not necessarily have to be long term, as already mentioned buy tadalafil it could happen once and probably never repeat again.

Lon is simply adorable, he’s painfully shy and so easily embarrassed, you just want to give him a hug. I think part of his attraction to Rom stems from the fact that he knows nothing will ever come from it. Rom is a notorious playboy, and Lon is too shy to ever approach him and tell him how he feels. The combination of the two keeps Lon quite safe lusting after Rom from afar. I like how Lon’s friendship with Bok is portrayed, although they are opposite in almost every way they bond between them is obvious. Of course Bok is a very important character since he is the one that gives Lon the dildo that ends up causing him so much trouble. I find it amusing that in all of the travels the dildo makes it never actually ends up in the hands of Rom, the one who it was intended for.

Wod is the epitome of dark and mysterious. There are definitely things about him that make you wonder if there is more going on than meets the eye. With the rumors abounding about the possibility of the dark elf being of a different kind of fae, things that might normally be taken for granted now stop and give pause. Like when Lon innocently stumbles upon Rom and his lover for the evening, and is compelled to leave. It is natural to assume that Lon left because of his shy and good nature. But when we find out that Wod had followed Lon and witnessed the events occurring, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Wod used magic to make Lon’s desire to leave more urgent than it was. Not that I think Wod would try to manipulate or intentionally hurt Lon in any way, it just makes you wonder.

Of course in the end everyone ends up exactly with who they are supposed to end up with. Although I must say it’s very mean to tease us all by leaving the boys looking over a bounty of toys without letting us see which ones they decide to play with. Although since Bok is the one who acquisitioned they toys in the first place I suspect that he and Rom will have plenty to play with when it’s time for their story. I so look forward to reading it.

Sexy elves and Christmas magic make Reindeer Games a truly enjoyable read. Not even close to the traditional Christmas story, Jet Mykles gives you a short and sexy ride that will have you experiencing the magic of Christmas in a whole new way.

When I first began to read this story I didn’t think I was going to like it because it was told in the present tense and I was reluctant to venture on. I’m glad I did because after reading the first couple of pages, I was hooked. The story is also told in the first person, which I personally always enjoy.

Abby comes across as a real person and we feel for her need to have a child. The explanation of why she doesn’t want to be in a relationship or go the sperm bank route is credible.

The writer allows us to know Noah more than Rob, and he comes across as the more caring of the two male characters. I don’t know if the writer intended it this way but I felt very the very beginning that Noah just didn’t want to father Abby’s baby, but somewhere deep inside he wanted to be a father too. And I also sensed he had feelings for Abby.

The sex is very hot and frequent. Sometimes the things Abby and the two male characters say to one another during sex gets repetitive. I shouldn’t give too much away but let’s just say there’s a very hot ménage nestled in this story.

I didn’t know whether to expect a happy ending for Abby but let’s just say the conclusion did satisfy me. The length was also perfect for this type of story.

If you’re looking for a smoldering hot story, but not necessarily a romance, this might be for you.

Holiday ‘Holli’ James looks forward the week between Christmas and New Year’s. This is her one chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of her successful decorating business. The plan this year is a trip to New York City to see the sights and the lights. The plan doesn’t include a side trip to a small town jail in the middle of Pennsylvania. Nor does it include Officer Hunky.

However…

A single police officer, Michael is working the holidays — again. With no local family and no interest in accepting the pity invitations to Christmas dinner from his married friends, he’s content to work and earn extra cash. Besides, this year looks to be as uneventful as ever. Until he pulls Holli over for speeding, only to discover she’s wanted on charges of fraud.

Sexual tension spikes as Michael begins to investigate and discovers Holli isn’t who her record says she is. While they await answers, Michael is granted permission to remove Holli from the jail and place her under house arrest.

Only his idea of house arrest is much more personal than the law ever intended.

Holiday James planned her trip carefully, going to New York City to spend Christmas and New Year’s with her friend Charlotte for some fun and relaxation. Because of a minor clerical error, Holli ends up spending Christmas in a small town jail, with no way out until after the holiday weekend. On the up side, at least she has Michael, or as she thinks of him, Officer Hunky, to gaze at through her cell bars.

When Michael is able to get Holli released into his custody, he gives her a choice; house arrest at a local motel, or at his place. To Holli, there is no choice, and so she spends her time with Michael, and grows to care for him. Michael finds Holli attractive, and close proximity leads to a hot and sex filled weekend. But Michael is feeling more for her every day, and wonders if she could be ‘the one’ for him. Holli starts to feel more than lust for her Officer Hunky as well, but is there enough to base the future on? Can one little clerical error lead to a happy ever after for these two?

Holiday ‘Holli’ James is successful in her chosen career, but she prefers to spend the holidays in less traditional fashion. No big family get-togethers, but rather a road trip to meet a friend in the city for Christmas and New Years. I loved her sense of adventure when she realized there was nothing she could do about the situation, and her ability to roll with the punches that came her way.

Michael is a single officer, so he works the holidays and lets the family men spend time at home. He is handsome, sexy and on top of everything else, he cooks up a storm for Holli once she is in his home. He sees a sexy woman when he looks at Holli, especially he ample curve are just what he wants. I like that Ms. Matthews gave us more mature characters in this, and Michael is a great example of the hot and sexy cop, wanting more than a fling.

I enjoyed watching these two explore their feelings, and I liked how Ms. Matthews let the emotions build realistically. I watched two people who were attracted to each other learn to be together, and enjoy each other’s company, just a real and honest relationship. I also liked that they didn’t swear undying eternal love after just a few days, but took the time to let the relationship grow. This is that rare and terrific combination of a love story and a hot and sexy tale coming together in perfect symmetry.

This is for all those holiday lovers who want something just a little different. I even liked the cover that Valerie Tibbs designed, giving just a hint of the story, without too much given away. Altogether a very enjoyable reading experience, but beware: there are more than marshmallows heating up here.

She joined the Yankee Zouaves army to “help right an injustice”. She is such a passionate individual and tries so hard to prove that she is as good, or better, than any man. Her attraction to Belle is almost instant but she fights to deny the attraction thinking there was no future for her with a married Southern woman.

Be prepared to sigh and to cry along with Belle and Alice as they struggle with their mutual attraction and the sexual chemistry that sizzles off the pages. Ms. Smith has penned a heartwarming novella. The breathtakingly vivid language will leave you feeling like you were a part of the lives of these women and praying that love will find a way for them to be together. Ryalda, the Element heroes of old, leak from the void and bring with them beauty, desire…and destruction.

Change is hard, but the unexpected metamorphosis into fire goes beyond any change Kenna Lang could ever have imagined. When she discovers her ancestors are actually ancient beings who exist in a void beyond our universe and the dragons of her childhood dreams are real, life as she knows it is over.

Erion, an Air Element, answers the call of Kenna’s emerging fire to discover a woman on the cusp of transformation. He’s drawn to her, the need to mate overwhelming. However, Erion killed once before by having sex in element form, and has sworn not to merge with another Element. But the discovery that a male Fire Element is intent upon enslaving Kenna’s soul forces Erion to get involved. He will save her. But he aches to do more than protect her. He wants to touch her — to pleasure her, but he can’t risk bonding his Element to hers.

Erion is unprepared for the emotions Kenna awakens in him — or the lengths to which she will go to save him.

This story of the Elements is a wonderful tale of passion and romance. There is good and evil, a story of learning to accept what you are in Kenna’s case.

Kenna Lang is an artist, one with a unique talent. She works in glass, hot from the belly of the furnace, and shapes it into pieces of exquisite beauty and fragile design. Her first major show is coming, and her best piece is the image she has had in her mind and heart since childhood: a dragon she calls Drakaura. What she doesn’t know is that she is more than human, and dormant inside her is the element of fire, waiting to awaken in her.

Every night, she has the most erotic dreams, dreams that bring her to arousal and completion. What she doesn’t know is that she is being watched by two Elementals, one fire and one air. Erion is an air elemental, and he is trying to keep his distance, but it is he who visits every night in Kenna’s dreams. Erion knows Kenna is his destined one, but he once killed a woman, another air elemental, and he vows not to do it ever again. But he also has to protect Kenna from the evil of Haydn Stiles, the fire element that wants to steal her spark and drain her power. Can Erion protect Kenna without giving in to the attraction? When Kenna comes into her power, her element, can she learn to handle and control it without Erion’s help and his love?

I loved the story, and the many different levels of passion and at one point, betrayal, that the characters had to face, both alone and together.

Kenna doesn’t know she isn’t human. When she first meets Erion (or Eric Grey) he seems as human as she is. I loved watching her come to terms with the changes in her life, as well as her surprise when she finds that the dragons, her Drakaura, are real beings, not just dream characters.

Erion, or Eric, is determined to do the right thing with Kenna, but cannot fight the desire that flows between them every time they are together. I loved his strength of character, even though in the end, it seems he was wrong about so many things. He is strong and sexy, and yet gentle and sensitive to Kenna’s needs.

There are several very interesting secrets, revealed only near the end of this book, that were very surprising to me. I really didn’t see these coming. And the heat generated when Kenna and Erion are together is way beyond scorching; I’m surprised my fingers didn’t blister from holding my reader.

I hope the authors, KyAnn Waters and Tarah Scott, will revisit this world with more tales of the Drakaura and the elements, as I would love to read more of them.
