Newly named head of Quinn Security Investigations, retired detective Logan Jeffries believes in law and order. Everything should have its place. A personal life should never interfere with work. Relationships should have their own rules too. Logan lives by his own laws — five precisely. As long as he follows them, all is right in his regimented world.

Nate Jordan wishes he could say no when assigned to work with Logan. Nate has never forgotten Logan’s kindness the night they met. In the three years since, his crush has only grown. This partnership will surely end in disaster, but Nate cannot walk away.

Quickly, Logan and Nate delve into the search for a missing socialite. Nothing else should occupy Logan’s thoughts. The only problem? Nate is determined and sweet, and working with him awakens Logan’s deepest desires. Logan won’t break his laws, though. Not even for the gentlest, sexiest man in the world.

Meanwhile, Nate is falling harder and faster for Logan every day they’re together. The craziest damn thing is he thinks he senses attraction under Logan’s controlled facade. Nate will have to break every one of Logan’s laws to capture the man of his dreams.

The laws of the heart may be the hardest but most rewarding to break. Logan is so used to protecting himself and keeping his life private that it’s instinctive. Although Logan has left the police department and is starting a new career at Quinn Security, old habits are hard to break. Especially when he discovers his new partner is sexy, adorable Nate. When the two are thrown together for days on end, though, sparks fly and they can’t resist. Yet breaking through Logan’s laws may be the toughest fight Nate’s ever had.

Breaking Logan’s Laws is an entertaining, familiar romance. Fans of the Quinn series will be happy to see Nate and Logan finally get together while those new to the series will have no problems picking this book up on its own. The plot involves the missing daughter of a wealthy family specializing in imports. While Nate and Logan scour the city for clues, their natural chemistry keeps their focus on each other and what they’d like to be doing. This offers a lot of sex scenes for fans and the romance is definitely the main focus. Logan and Nate dance around each other, not wanting to get involved for their own reasons, before finally giving into the explosive desire between them.

The story doesn’t end there though as Logan tries to protect himself from falling in love and Nate isn’t willing to let that happen. The case they work on is a good backdrop as it moves the plot along in between sex and emotional scenes. The couple are good together and fun to watch as they circle around each other before finally admitting their feelings. Some of this feels repetitive and the story feels a little long. It drags in some places but added details and scenes about the missing girl case help alleviate that feeling.

Some of the writing may not be to all readers’ tastes though those familiar with this author won’t have a problem. The prose choices tend to be exaggerated and a bit over the top while the descriptions can border on clinical, especially when talking about various sex organs and body parts. This isn’t enough to ruin the book and fans won’t have a problem with this. Overall Breaking Logan’s Laws is a good addition to the series. Fans and newcomers alike should enjoy the heady romance and solid happy ending between two likable and very sexy characters. This is an easy story to recommend.

Mark and Alistair think they’re happy with their open relationship — they can have all the anonymous sex they want, and still come home to each other for love and affection. That changes when they discover that they’ve both hooked up with the same guy, and, worse, that they’re both falling for him.

Tyler is a take-it-as-it-comes type, happy to coast through life on his good looks and charm. He doesn’t have ambitions and doesn’t make plans, but when he finds himself involved with Mark and then Alistair, he starts wishing that he could have something more long-term.

Nobody has any doubt that sex between the three of them would be fantastic, considering how hot things are when there’s only two involved. But can they make it something more? Is the threesome destined to be a scorching memory, or can they find a way to overcome their challenges and hit the trifecta?

When two men deeply in love fall for a third, can they make a Trifecta or will they lose everything? Mark and Alistair have been together for a year and they’re very committed to each other. They’ve gone through a lot as Mark left his marriage and two teenage daughters after falling in love with Alistair. They more than love each other, they need each other too. Yet when they meet Tyler, the young man throws their carefully planned world into chaos and they realize he might be what they need. But convincing Tyler of that isn’t so easy either.

Trifecta is a hot, delicious ménage. Mark and Alistair are an established couple but their relationship isn’t perfect. The two men are so much alike that they’ve started to need more. They have an open relationship due to their sexual incapability in the bedroom and the traveling Mark does for his job. The story does a credible job of showing how Mark and Alistair really need something else to make their relationship work. It’s obvious something is missing and Tyler fits into that space very well.

Tyler is the main star of the story and he comes across as an eager, intelligent, kind, young man. He’s worlds different than both Mark and Alistair and that infusion of fresh, new perspective is attractive to the older men. Tyler is attracted to the stability and sexual chemistry he could have with them and so the threesome with Tyler at the center makes sense in many ways. The many hot sex scenes don’t hurt either as the story shows the connection Tyler has to both men very well. There are a lot of internal thoughts that show how Mark and Alistair both want Tyler and think about him often.

The story is an entertaining easy read with a lot of chemistry and spark. The final resolutions are tied up neatly with a solid happy ending and everyone perhaps almost too happy. Given the various problems presented, the ending is a little too neat and easy for everyone involved but I doubt any romance fans are going to complain. Instead those fans of ménage can enjoy this quick, interesting story with some excellent erotica.

When world-weary Louis Duncan returns to the English town where he grew up, the last thing on his mind is finding love. He’s come home to be at his estranged mother’s side as she lies comatose in a hospital bed.

The always-sunny barman Jake Harvey yearns to offer Louis much more than a willing ear. After an evening of too much wine, too much Indian take-out, and too much of Jake’s soft lips, Louis succumbs to the young man’s charms. Jake proves to be a passionate lover as well as a loyal friend.

When his mother’s condition deteriorates, Louis leans on Jake to help him through the difficulty of another loss. The love of his life died two years before, but to Louis he remains every bit alive as Jake. He and Carter continue to chat, smoke together, even argue over whether Louis is living or merely existing. They do everything as they always did, except have sex. Now, despite Carter urging him to take the risk, can Louis give up his first real love and take his chances with the living?

When Louis meets an attractive younger man, he’s faced with the tough choice of either giving up his dead lover’s ghost or clinging to the past. It’s been two years since Carter died and since then Louis has had a relationship with a very realistic, talkative ghost. They can’t have sex but nothing else seems to have changed. Louis is determined to keep Carter’s spirit alive until he’s confronted by a very real, very sexy bartender that forces Louis to face reality. In the midst of his mother’s failing health, Louis tries to make the toughest choice of his life.

Passing Time is a novel about redemption and courage. Louis is clinging to his dead lover’s ghost as a way to keep the man alive. While the main impetus for Louis to go to England is his mother’s poor health, the real focus of the story is on Louis and whether he can get past Carter’s death to be with someone new. This struggle isn’t easy or pretty as Louis lashes out at Jake again and again. Normal blood flow to the penile area means a stronger and a discount levitra navigate to this page longer erection. This back and forth struggle is honest, raw, and gripping. It’s not always easy to read and Louis often comes across very unlikable in his grief and pain.

Determined to cling to what he knows, Louis tries again and again to shut Jake into a corner and not let the man in. For a long time I wondered why Jake put up with this behavior and in some ways Louis doesn’t entirely redeem himself. But he’s trying and that’s the essence of the story. Louis tries to overcome his pain and heartache to try again. There’s a feeling of hope and optimism at the end. It’s not a happy ending per se, but perhaps more that one could potentially happen in the future.

The tone of the story is somewhat dark, matching the dreary England weather. Dealing with the dead and dying most of the book does not make for a very bright subject. In between are sex scenes between Louis and Jake as their main interaction is sexual until the very, very end. The sex is what initially prompts Louis to take a chance on more perhaps and very little is known about Jake other than what he says. He’s a bright spot that Louis reaches for in the darkness of the story. Some readers may find this too dark and indeed I found it depressing in some ways but there is a bit of hope, though perhaps not as much as I would have liked, at the end.

Santana Jones barely escaped from the man-turned-wolf that attacked her during a camping trip that she’d won from a local radio station. But it turns out the radio station didn’t have a contest and she didn’t win. Then she meets the Luc who thinks he can detain her while he figures out this so-called mystery. Because of her past, allowing Luc to control her is out of the question even if he is the sexiest thing she’s ever seen and she can barely keep her hands off him.

Luc Delemere, the powerful leader of the North American werewolves, didn’t want a mate because her life would constantly be in danger. But when a bedraggled human crawls out of the icy river and stumbles into his barn, Luc finds it impossible to resist his sensual, but stubborn mate. The claw marks on her body confirm that she was attacked by a werewolf, but Luc wants to know who lured her to his land and why.

When Santana receives a note that says “Leave or Luc Dies,” she betrays Luc to save his life.

Can Luc untangle a web of lies and betrayal to find his mate before the assassin does?

Remember those old sayings our parents and grandparents used to teach us important life lessons? Like “Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.” and “If it seems to good to be true…it probably is”. Well what happens when you get two such instances at the same time? Hey don’t laugh..it happens. As a matter of fact it happened in this very book.

There is danger nipping close at their heels as they try to figure out who is trying to kill not only Santana but Luc as well.

This book is packed with action, serious sexual heat, mystery and great characters. The world Kitty DuCane has created is so well fleshed out that you feel like you’re in it. The day after Colin MacNeill admits to his wife of nine years that he might be gay, he wakes up to find himself alone with his five-year-old autistic son, Kerrigan. It wasn’t supposed to work out this way. He and his wife were best friends and his sexuality shouldn’t matter. They should still be able to live under the same roof and raise their son together, right? What would be the harm if they both took secret lovers?

His day doesn’t get any better when he has to take his son with him to the office and his boss suggests he take some time off…because obviously he has a lot to deal with, and bringing his son to the office isn’t going to work out. His boss also takes the liberty of suggesting a summer camp for disabled children, and although Colin finds the idea of abandoning his child to the care of others abhorrent, he feels he doesn’t have a choice. As a top-notch corporate attorney, he can’t be expected to leave his clients hanging. Especially when the biggest case of his career is mere weeks away from trial. At least having his son at camp would give him time to locate his wife and try to convince her that his suggestion could work.

Meeting the camp’s owner, Beau Delacroix, turns Colin’s world upside down. His insane attraction to Beau is an impossible situation. The man is going to be working with his son all summer and an affair would be completely inappropriate. Besides, the ease with which Beau bonds to his son makes Colin feel like a hopeless failure.

Beau Delacroix never intended to become the director of Five Rivers, a summer camp for mentally and physically handicapped kids founded by his grandfather fifty years before, but he discovers too late fate has a sense of humor, putting him in the one place he never wanted to be only to discover he loves the camp and the kids. When the camps funding gets cut, he needs a lawyer and fast; Colin MacNeill seems like a godsend except for the fact that they can’t stand to be in the same room together. And the even crueler twist of fate makes Colin MacNeill the hottest man he’s ever come face to face with.

Can Beau get Colin past first impressions and convince him to help save the camp? One thing’s for certain, it’s going to get pretty hot at Five Rivers this summer…

Nothing portrays this fact more than this story about Collin and Beau finding love when neither of them was looking for it, but both of them needed it. Isn’t that how it seems to works? When you least expect something there it is waiting for you to grab.

The emotional development between Collin and Beau was great. They both brought something to the relationship unique to themselves which allowed their love to grow. Beau taught Collin how to care for his son, and Collin handled Beau’s legal problems. It made the relationship believable because it gave those more to base things on other than physical attraction. I could tell this was truly matters of the heart.

The writing style and description was up to par, though I was left feeling a little disconnected was during the love scenes as if something was missing. It may have been small details, but it was enough to pull me from the story. With that said, the physical connection was not the dominant trait in this relationship so it was easily forgivable because the emotional attachment took precedence in the characters’ relationship so it also took precedence in my attachment to the characters.

Not only was the relationship development between the two main characters well portrayed in this story, but also the father-son bond that I got to watch bloom between Collin and Kerrigan. I loved the way Collin discovered who his son really was in this story. He also was willing to love Kerrigan and want to care for him even when it would have been easier to just give up. It was something that truly touched my heart and will stay with me for a long time.

With strong emotions and characters with limitless abilities to care for others this story tugged my heart strings and stayed with me long after the last page was turned.

Red Light is a lovely, charming contemporary romance. The story involves some secondary characters from White Flag but there’s no need to read the previous book to understand this one. The story focuses on the opposites attract theme of two men that meet on vacation and enjoy their time together. Predictably, their feelings grow more serious and meaningful, but Jeff is terrified of being hurt again. This is the main conflict and there is a genuine question of if or how Jeff will overcome past rejection.

Jeff is a sympathetic, if slightly frustrating character. He rationalizes everything and seems determined to stick to his earlier decisions regardless of anyone or anything that happens. Benet is less well understood as the story is told from Jeff’s first person perspective and very little is offered about Benet. Their relationship mostly develops within the sex scenes, but there isn’t a clear understanding of why and how they fall in love. This is overshadowed by the totally adorable and delightful cast of secondary characters, Benet’s employers and new family. The various men and women really steal the story in vibrant and eye catching ways. If nothing else, you don’t want to miss the story for their contribution.

The writing is very ethereal and has a lovely, rambling quality. It feels almost fey and rarely makes direct statements. The prose tends to talk around the setting and characters in abstract terms, which makes for a charming read but won’t be for every reader. Those fans who liked White Flag are likely to adore this story – in fact it’s extremely similar. The story is an entertaining and easy romance, perfect for a light day.

When his latest sugar daddy drops him like yesterday’s news, Carson’s got more than a bruised ego to deal with. He’s broke! No designer clothes, no baubles, and while he loves his job with the burlesque show he needs to pay the bills.

Should be no problem. Carson’s young and pretty, so it should be no trouble finding someone new to pick up his tab.

Instead, he finds Eddie. The superintendent of Carson’s apartment building, Eddie couldn’t be further from Carson’s usual type, financially or physically, but his gift of a single red rose touches Carson’s heart.

For the first time, Carson doesn’t want to be just a kept man.

To live the life he always thought he wanted, he needs to find a new sugar daddy. But how can he part with the support of someone who seems to really love him?

Can a gold digger ever change his spots? That’s the question that Carson asks himself following the breakup of his recent relationship. Without the financial help his ex provided, Carson is left struggling to make ends meet, let alone afford the lifestyle he’s become accustomed to. It’s not that Carson is heartless per se it’s just that he figures he can find a rich lover who knows the score. Yet when sparks fly between Carson and his building landlord, Carson is put in a sticky situation. Is it true love or merely an obstacle to the life he should have?

A Rose is a Rose is the delightful Valentine’s Day offering from popular Jet Mykles. The common opposites attract theme is given a twist when affable gold digger Carson finds himself attracted to unassuming Eddie. Carson carries the story with his adorable and wonderful insight, even if he’s not always nice. As a self aware semi-whore Carson wants a nice lifestyle but he’d prefer that with someone who could afford him. Additionally, adequate levels of testosterone (produced by the testes) and an intact pituitary gland are required for the development of impotency by minimizing the blood flow to the penile organ and veins are closed. discount viagra cute-n-tiny.com On the other hand, the purchasers should be vigilant while going for any shopping choice since there are a lot of perks of having cialis 25mg cute-n-tiny.com as the pill is approved by FDA. Carson is definitely flawed but the story does a very good job of showing how he came to be the way he is. He was taught how to lure and catch men from a young age and even his mother counsels him to stay with rich men, regardless of the love.

The main tension in the story is Carson’s struggle. He has some very real bills he can’t afford on his current salary and he loves the Burlesque atmosphere. This is presented with vivid details and really comes alive with both the glory and slightly seedy aspects. Carson is both strong and weak simultaneously and presents a very compelling narrator, one you can’t help root for even when he does some pretty selfish things. Eddie is less important as he is more the catalyst for Carson to change and the object of affection rather than his own complex character. I wish there had been more to Eddie and I did walk way feeling disappointed with his character. However Carson is so fascinating that Eddie’s simplicity nicely rounds out the partnership.

The story is technically a gay-for-you theme since Eddie has never entertained thoughts about men before Carson. Yet with the focus on Carson and his semi-transformation from schemer into responsible adult, the GFY idea is very minor. Instead this is Carson’s redemption and path to true love, a rather romantic and sexy one at that. Fans of the author definitely won’t want to miss this. For those new to Mykles this is a good introduction to her great writing and hot men.

Both fight their feelings and must find peace with their pasts before moving forward with each other. Gabrielle blossoms under Marcus’s love and when she finally opens up to Marcus he shows her what it means to him.

I loved the bond that each of the Masters of the club and their subs have, including Gabrielle and Marcus. They may enjoy their fun a little differently, but the love that they feel for each other always shines through in everything that they do. Even through the threats and the deceit of another jealous sub, Marcus and Gabrielle’s love never wavers. They may have their ups and downs but Marcus never gives up on Gabrielle and her love.

Make Me, Sir was a gripping story that kept me entertained all the way through to the end. I cannot wait to visit the Shadowland club again to see whose story is next.

Additionally Jase and Lowell have a rocky relationship with a lot of fighting. Jase is especially fearful and often lashes out at Lowell because of this. Lowell is pretty understanding but ultimately I wasn’t entirely sure that these two really fell in love and lasted.

The characters are three dimensional and come across as authentic. Their problems feel genuine and you can empathize with their issues. There are no clear cut evil villains and the story creates good tension with a definite happy ending. While this didn’t always work so well for me I think some readers will enjoy the real feel to the story. Everyday men with problems and issues that aren’t fantasies but find a way to true love. If this sounds like your type of book, give it a chance.

At a conservative Long Island University, renowned researcher, Dr. Emmaline Silvay, has two great loves — her life-saving work, and her younger research partner, Jake Martin. The romantic love is impossible. She’s his boss and he lives with his girlfriend. But his “girlfriend” is actually a boyfriend; the beautiful and infamous supermodel, Roan Black.

Resigned to a platonic relationship, Em accepts a weekend invitation to their home, but the men have a ménage on their minds. She can’t resist, doesn’t even want to. But their intentions go far beyond passion. They want her to “be a part of them.” Their three-way love defies propriety and the standards of the University that funds their work. The supermodel’s fame makes secrecy impossible. Their ménage threatens to crumble all she’s worked for. What will give way to make room for genetic attraction?

Torture, yes, it was torture reading this story! I lost sleep on this book.I started reading this story late at night and I could not put it down and go to bed so I got to see the sunrise before I got to the end. I knew when I saw the cover that I wanted it even before I read the excerpt. This sort of medication presents symptomatic and precautionary the price cialis therapy. The first thing that drew me in and stood out was the dialect, which gave a flare of modern day “real people” feeling to the story, and the characters just jumped out at me with their personality. From Roan with his ‘I know I’m beautiful attitude’ to Jake’s ‘I made a mess of things’; and then there is Em who gets lost in her work and forgets about the world outside the lab. I would have liked to have seen more of a build up in the relationship between the Em and Roan before the first sex scene, just to add more depth to the plot. However, even without the build up it was still enjoyable because of the twist in the plot and the hippy life style that Em grew up in with free love and all. I thought is was endearing that Em wanted to talk to her mom about a ménage knowing that her mom was a free spirit from the sixties.

I love the book, between the dialect and the cute phrases I laughed so hard, I was afraid I would wake the hubby. So many clever and quick-witted remarks that just added to the overall story. I did have to put the book down for a minute and get on the computer to find out about the old Kinsey continuum of sexuality, just to see if I could find any input. This story was a wild ride and a lot of “hey what the hell”; I think it was a new and well plan plot, which is why I will be adding Tara Lain to my list of favorite authors. I definitely fell in love with her writing style and imagination. She had such a refreshing plot that will stay with me a long time and I think is well worth the money to add to your library.
