Once upon a time…the Blood Sorcerer vanquished the kingdom of Elden. To save their children, the queen scattered them to safety and the king filled them with vengeance. Only a magical timepiece connects the four royal heirs…and time is running out….

Nicolai the Vampire was renowned for his virility, but in a twist of fate “The Dark Seducer” had become a sex slave in the kingdom of Delfina—stripped of his precious timepiece and his memory. All that remained was a primal need for freedom, revenge—and the only woman who could help him.

In her dreams, a wanton vampire called to Jane Parker, drawing her to his dark sexuality and his magical realm. But for a human, all was not a fairy tale in Delfina. Jane was the key to Nicolai’s memory…but exploiting her meant dooming the only mortal he craved.

Time tripping, dimension hopping adventures are in store for readers as they embark on another journey of amazing romance and sensual delights from the creative mind of Ms. Showalter.

There’s a vampire in trouble, a land in siege, a corrupt and deviant royal house, and a simple woman with a brilliant brain who has to accomplish the impossible – free the vampire, trust him that he won’t kill her, and somehow heal him. That’s a lot to ask a regular human woman and yet, there’s that thrum of sensual interest, a yearning and the heart of a lioness inside that won’t let the heroine, Jane, back down. It’s her journey that I found most interesting because she goes through the most change. She has so much to lose and more than she could imagine to gain. The part I liked best about her personality was that she’s not just book smart. Some braniacs are fine in an office but completely fall apart in dealing with other people in real life situations. Not so, Jane. In fact, Ms. Showalter created a very unique character. She’s been through her own brand of torture in her young life and it was a great emotional hook. I also liked how the author took that tragedy and made it into a strength. One the heroine could emotionally heal from and the hero could respect.

The hero, Nicolai, is a mixed bag of tortured hero fun. He’s got it all. If he knew about Murphy’s Law, he would have hunted Murphy down and had him run through with a sword. The poor guy has one indignity after another heaped upon him. Nothing goes right and his life is an existence of never ending nightmares. No matter that he can’t remember anything, he is smart, cunning and hyper-focused on his goal – escape and kill …someone. He’s just not sure who. From certain descriptions in scenes when he loses his temper, he’s going to be incredibly effective with his vengeance. I can’t wait to see that happen. And, despite all that the twisted and ugly princess tried to do and did to Nicolai, he has this inner core of goodness and light that can’t be corrupted. These herbal supplements also contain anti-aging and anti-oxidant properties to boost up libido and bring back the semen burst to boost viagra on line the chances of owning of kids naturally. These roles generic cialis online changes over time and in high doses, this complete tends to lead hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. What’s ED? Sildenafil citrate has structure similar to cGMP and it acts as a potential binding agent of PDE5 in the carpous cavernosum that accelerates cGMP viagra without prescription and enhanced erections. The only one that can tap into it is Jane. The heroine inspires a healthy dose of lust too which made for some spicy and entertaining reading. I adore how Ms. Showalter writes those scenes. They’re so vivid and fun.

The conflict is clear. The dialogue is often funny between Nicolai and Jane, many times insightful or endearing and definitely a compliment to the characters. The drama and suspense is well balanced without getting too dark and depressing. It was well done enough that I didn’t have the need to bite all my nails because of stress. Some chocolate was good though.

Princess Laila and her mother were whack jobs. Great villains who seemed unstoppable, they were darkness and sadism personified. How fulfilling it was when there was finally a confrontation between Nicolai and Jane and those pains in the neck. Even better, answers were revealed. The author was very sneaky in how she wove hints and revelations throughout. It took awhile before she allowed me to have the full picture of just how much the hero had lost and how motivational it was to find out he could reclaim most of it back. There’s a price to be paid, obviously, but he’s man enough to see it through, especially with Jane by his side.

For the first book in a new series, Ms. Showalter has stoked the fires of imagination and curiosity. She’s laid the ground work with terrific world building and insured that I’d be invested in finding out about what happened to Nicolai’s other siblings. One thing the author has a talent for doing is making me laugh. I loved the reference to glitter and that line about poking the bear. It’s just so … Jane.

Lord of the Vampires is the start of a series that is going to rock the romance world. There is so much detail and the overall story arc is fascinating. Add in two well matched strong characters up against dramatic odds and readers are in for a thrilling treat. The happily ever after is solid but by no means is it the end. After all, readers have to find his sister and I am tickled by where the author said she was. It sounded so exciting! I can’t wait.

She withstands the rigorous traveling, the culture shock, the emotional growing pains that change her from the sheltered, well-brought-up English young lady to a passionate, independent-thinking woman who loves the volatile Laird Aidan Ketryck in spite of herself.

Secondary characters add a viciousness to life at the massive, impregnable Castle Ketryck. The “Black” Ketryck, Aidan’s uncle, plots against Aidan, Dame Lileth Fallaine-Dumphat works her magic (scary!) that augments intrigues, while Lady Reina works her special magic with Julianna—adorns her with scents and clothes that mesmerize the people at the feast. The many castle inhabitants who get caught up in the uncle’s machinations and Aidan’s determination to protect Julianna at all cost create adrenaline-pumping events that hold the reader spellbound.

Jackie Ivie is a fantastic story teller. Her descriptions of extreme emotion, whether it is a fight to the death or love making that transports to heavenly ecstasy, give the reader a vicarious experience in the thirteenth century Highlands where life was hard and the people who survived lived only by embracing extreme measures. Ms.Ivie weaves superstitions, humor of the time, unique customs of the Highlanders, and the unending struggle to hold on to power into Knight Everlasting, as she assails the reader’s senses and revs up the heartbeat with sensational loves scenes. Hell Hath No Fury Like a Princess Scorned!

Princess Drifa can certainly see why Sidroc Guntersson is a living legend— on battlefield and in bedchamber both. But the King of Stoneheim’s willful daughter pitches a royal fit when she learns of the true reason for the virile Viking’s passionate attentions. A third-born son with no hope of inheriting the family jarldom, scheming Sidroc must marry and is interested in Drifa only for her father’s land and money. The barbarian is lucky she just cracks him on his fool head with a pottery pitcher!

Five years later, Drifa needs Sidroc’s protection— in Byzantium, no less!—though revenge holds more appeal for this man she left for dead. ’Tis a pity two such perfect enemies match each other so well, passion for passion. So much so that the bold Viking berserker is soon thinking marriage again . . . only this time it will be on his terms!

An arrogant lout and an independent princess cross words and pots which set the stage for a long and roundabout romance plagued with mishaps, kidnappings, lustsome thoughts and naughty shenanigans.

Such is the final story of the last unmarried princess in King Thorvald’s household, Drifa. She’s a woman of quick temper, deep passions and has a fanatic enthusiasm for all plants green, flowered and tall. That small hobby of hers gets her into more trouble than she believed possible. Because Drifa has been allowed to make her own decisions and get her way at home, it’s given her a false sense of security and safety. She comes across as a woman who knows what’s going on but even when she’s hit by the figurative wall of bricks, she remains inured from the thought of possible harm to her. She’s a king’s daughter, what could possibly happen? She accepts the need to be cautious in name only and goes off to do what she wants to do anyway. I knew she was going to lead the hero on a merry chase and I was right.

The hero, Sidroc, at first doesn’t seem like a hero at all, but a manipulative jerk. Only as I read did I find out this man has undiscovered emotional depths hidden behind a veneer of lust – for both war and women. He’s not what he seems at all but the conflict comes from Drifa overhearing a conversation that was meant for another man’s ears only. What a man does when he thinks all is lost shows his inner character. Sidroc is not a quitter, nor a shallow man. He is a man of loyalty, valor and integrity, even when he doesn’t want to be. He also has a liking for adventurous sex and he uses that as a clever ploy to get Drifa to do what he wants her to do. The fun part comes when the tables are turned and the heroine ends up getting him to do what she wants. The best part, he doesn’t even know it. If that sounds ambiguous, it is. Only by experiencing the book will a reader understand just how twisted that gets.

Ms. Hill is known for her knee-slapping humor and clever play on words during the telling of her romance tales. Readers will find that the asides of inner dialogue used in juxtaposition with what’s actually being said or done is still an effective and fun technique that the author used to good effect. I chortled a few times, giggled at others but my knees were in no danger of being tormented this time around. The final book seemed to have treated the characters in a gentler fashion. I liked and enjoyed the book, but didn’t fall in love with it. Alas, all the loving is between Sidroc and Drifa.

As much as I liked Drifa, she annoyed me too. She blithely ignored the battle-seasoned warriors at her side when they warned her, repeatedly. I understand she had a passion for plants, verging on obsessive, but that tunnel vision of hers that she persisted in indulging in drove me nuts. Frankly, there were a few moments where I’d classify her character as too stupid to live. Of course, if she wasn’t, then a lot of the plot conflict would have disappeared and I wouldn’t have been treated to the interesting encounter in the Arab lands. The information that she came back with was put to good use by leading Sidroc around by his hormones. Ms. Hill certainly explored some creative use of scarves and marble.

The story included a tableau of secondary characters that interacted well with the hero and heroine. Many were from past books and a few were special to this book alone. I can assure readers that The Norse King’s Daughter is a complete standalone book. The story focuses completely on the hero and heroine and all the other characters either affect them or support them. Runa is a cutie. She shows up at strategic points in the story that showcased the best in the heroine and hero. However, Sidroc’s father is a mean old skunk and the hero finally got to stand up to him, with a little help from his friends. Considering what I learned about that man and his household, it was a wonderful little scene to read. King Thorvald is still a riot of a character and I always giggle when he refers to the benefit of head drilling. He’s a fun guy, if a bit bloodthirsty. A perfect father for Drifa.

The Norse King’s Daughter is a vastly entertaining and light- hearted read. It has a smattering of suspenseful drama to spice up the conflict and the dialogue was always true to character. The fast paced verbal exchanges between Drifa and Sidroc were usually amusing and always interesting. The happily ever after, when it finally happened, was very sweet, adorable and had me believing that their marriage was going to be a strong and happy one – camel dung notwithstanding. I’m glad I got to read this story and Ms. Hill remains one of my favorite authors.

It was a dream come true. Solie had her own battler, a creature of almost infinite magic who could vaporize legions in the blink of an eye and would willingly suffer a thousand bloody deaths to protect her. She was his love. More simply, she was his queen.

Many others feel the same. The new-built settlement is a haven for all. Erected by sylphs of earth and fire, air and water, the Valley is Solie’s dominion. But, lovers without peer or killers without mercy, the very nature of their battler protectors means peril. It is not in any sylph’s nature to disobey, and while some are hers to command, others are the slaves of Solie’s enemies—the jealous, the cruel. Those who guard her must not fail. Their peasant-born ruler is not yet safe as…QUEEN OF THE SYLPHS

This book made me angry, and I wanted to screech and stomp my feet and battle someone, anyone just so I wouldn’t feel so helpless anymore. I have never gotten so hyper from a book that I couldn’t sit still, I couldn’t stop thinking about it and I even smacked the top of my desk, hurting my hand, when a very unexpected and horrid thing happened that totally shocked me. I screamed, NO!!!” This is not an easy story to read, it cannot leave a reader unaffected and it most certainly is so well crafted that it drags emotions out from the dark and makes a person pay attention.

Right up front, I’m saying this is not a standalone read. No way. What happens in this story to some of the protagonists will only make you sweat and tremble in fear if you’ve gotten to know the characters from the first two books like I did. I care about them, I am amazed by them and they’ve been through so much. For what happens to them in this book I simply say, NOT FAIR!

For all of my railing and ranting, the only reason that the Queen of the Sylphs made me react so strongly was because of the pure genius of the writing. L. J. McDonald has crafted a world that is both breathtaking in its beauty and horrifying because of the harsh realities of their world. The rules are different than anything I’ve ever come across and the dynamics and structure of the society is complicated, intricate and truly unique. It’s absolutely fascinating. And for all its differences, the thirst for power and the corruption of the mind in pursuit of it remains the same. That’s the major conflict. Someone is out to grab the riches that Queen Solie and her cabinet have forged out of a desolate land. How it came to be is amazing in and of itself and those readers who have read the previous tales know well of what I speak of. That is why this book has the power to horrify and to make a reader weep. For every power play, innocents pay the price, sometimes, with their very lives.

The evil and twisted villain in this piece was easy for me to figure out. But that’s all. Everything that came later was like a bombardment, shock after shock. There was one scene with Wat and Claw that almost made me puke. I was so astonishingly and negatively affected that I had to write a friend of mine who also likes books just so I could have some venting therapy. Why did it affect me so? Because I like Wat and I have always been worried for Claw. Again, readers know how tortured his character is, so for the author to have done what she did, it totally floored me. I repeat that this story would, in no way, have dragged such emotional extremes from me if the writing wasn’t as good as it is. But one must understand that viagra tablet getting frustrated at work places will be of no food to you. If the author hadn’t been effective in making a connection between the reader and her characters, then I wouldn’t have felt much, most assuredly not this passion that tortures me.

For the squeamish and sensitive reader, be warned that the setup of this society can lend itself to the flourishing of abuse and misuse of power. In fact, for one scene I would term it rape. I know that they are actually aliens, but they take human form, they have female and male genders, so as far as I’m concerned they have the same rights and expectations of common decency and consideration that are awarded sentient beings. The villain doesn’t see them that way and affords them no peace. The author created a truly vile and sinister piece of human excrement. Another interesting tidbit is that the evil one is an exercise in irony. Readers of the series should be able to pick up on that.

I hope my review doesn’t scare reviewers about the intensity of the story. It’s really amazing and well done. There is hope. There is justice. In fact, I nearly shot out of my chair with feelings of vindication and triumph. I even did a fist pump in the air. Solie truly earns her title of queen. Overall, I think I fired eight emails at my friend for every time something momentous happened. I was a little nuts but I couldn’t contain myself. This book had my emotions on a roller coaster and I practically slumped in relief when the very exciting, climactic and thunderous confrontation came to a satisfying conclusion.

Speaking of which, will you think less of me if I say the ending made me cry? It was beautiful, passionate and sentimental. It was true to the story; it was emotionally powerful and humbling and it made everything that went on before have meaning and relevance. If I could, I would have wanted to give them all a group hug, but I bet one of the battlers would have growled at me.

There is so much to talk about that happens in this story but I can’t for fear of spoilers. I can’t even list my favorite people because then readers of the story might wonder about the names I’m not saying. I can’t give anything away. I refuse to dilute the sheer power and enormity of events that transpire during the course of the tale. I can say there is betrayal beyond belief, heartbreak and action. There is a mystery that only a reader knows the answer to but the frustration is there because no one can shout the answer to the characters to save them from what has to happen. Be assured there is retribution. Bless my bloodthirsty little heart.

Queen of the Sylphs deserves any and all accolades for being a high-powered thrill ride that leaves a reader breathless. The writing and editing are superb, the characters top-notch and the world building like nothing readers have seen before. I adore Solie and Heyou and wish for them a beautiful future with less stress. Because Ms. McDonald has proven herself an author that delivers unexpected and devious twists and isn’t afraid to make hard choices for the characters she’s created, I’d say that the hero and heroine have a happy for now ending. There has to be more stories to be told and more adventures to be had because there is no way a world this rich, this incredibly vibrant and totally unique could end with only three tales. Queen of the Sylphs whet my appetite for more books in the series and they can’t be published quickly enough.

Psychic Allison Dupuis has a soft spot for Logan Mitchell, even though she’s never met him. All it takes is one encounter for the millionaire’s true emotions to slip through Allison’s shields, and she is intrigued. He needs her help, but Allison soon discovers that the kind of help Logan needs is the kind she isn’t willing to give. Logan has a ghost, and Allison doesn’t work with spirits anymore.

But the ghost is the least of Logan’s problems. Born an empath, Logan is constantly barraged with human emotions. And while his talent has come in handy in the business world, it’s about to drive him insane. Literally. Logan has OCD, and his ability triggers unbearable attacks that have him counting and cleaning until he collapses from exhaustion.

Sex and money. That’s all anyone wants from him. Even worse, he’s plagued with recurring visions of his future wife’s death, so Logan has spent his entire life avoiding love. He’s given up hope of ever having a normal life, until he meets Allison. She’s everything he’s ever dreamed of, and now he has to decide if loving her is worth risking her life.

If she’ll even have him. Allison’s lost too much already – her mother to cancer, her father to suicide. But, Logan is so charming and so real, she can’t help but fall for him. Now she has to overcome her fear of commitment . . .and ghosts . . .or face spending the rest of her life alone.

She’s a psychic who doesn’t embrace her gift, and he’s a man tormented by dreams and vision of a terrifying fate. The instant connection the two feel is intense, but the fears and doubts they both have could ruin a relationship before it even started.

The complexity of Allison and Logan’s characters is strong. It leaves for plenty of inner and external conflict for the two to face. Allison keeps to herself, other than a few close friends, and has no living family. There are offers like cost viagra online that will enable you to spend time on other things. Logan, however, is completely intrigued by Allison and almost instantly smitten, despite the fears and visions he has.

I could almost classify Logan as a tortured hero. He’s got fears about settling down because of events from his past, and because of the haunting and frightning visions that keep repeating. He’s even named Most Eligible Bachelor. He wants nothing to do with settling down or falling in love. Until he meets Alison, that is. He’s drawn to her. Everything about her amazes him. She’s also the first woman that doesn’t throw herself all over him for his money or for sex. What the two of them have is real — if only they’d embrace it and get past the things that could keep them apart.

Then there’s the paranormal aspect — yes, this story has ghosts in it and I have been wanting a good ghost story with a romantic plot for awhile. This book definitely fit the type of story I was looking for. All of the characters play such an important role, and they are all memorable and enjoyable. To Catch a Spirit is a thrilling paranormal love story that kept me turning the pages, eager for more. I got goosebumps quite a few times while reading this.

If you are a fan of ghosts in a romance book, then I suggest grabbing yourself a copy of To Catch a Spirit. Let the whirlwind of emotions and thrills of ghosts whisk you into a powerful grip that won’t let go until the very last page.

You can’t keep a good Secret for long.

Secret McQueen, Book 2

After cheating death twice in one night, confessing her true nature to her werewolf soul mates and being asked to kill one of her closest friends, Secret took a much-needed vacation. By running away.

Now she’s back in town—dragged kicking and screaming—determined to clear Holden Chancery’s name. Right after she finds out what he’s accused of. It shouldn’t be hard—Holden has a habit of using their new and scintillating psychic bond to break into her thoughts and dreams at some very, shall we say, awkward moments.

Just a few things stand in her way: a secretive Tribunal leader, a group of would-be vampire slayers and two werewolf boyfriends who refuse to let her operate in her customary lone-wolf style. Even less amusing are the terrifying creatures that someone is using in an attempt to gain control of the council. Even for this out-of-the-ordinary bounty hunter, it’s a challenge with potentially deadly teeth.

This is the second of Secret McQueen’s adventures, and it is packed with action, danger, betrayal and some very hot loving.

As ‘bounty hunter’ for the Vampire Tribunal, Secret McQueen knows her job is more executioner than anything else. But when her new assignment is to bring in her mentor, Holden Chancery, Secret runs. She hides out until the head of the Tribunal tracks her down and makes her realize that she needs to return, not just to find Holden, but to discover just why he is being charged with treason against the Vampires.

She also needs to deal with things between herself and her men, the two wolves who see her as their mate. And she needs to take her place in werewolf society, to strengthen her mates place as leader of the Eastern wolves. Can Secret uncover the real traitor and keep Holden safe? Can she keep herself alive, and fulfill her mates’ needs, all while trying to fight strange and terrible creatures determined to stop her?

I love Ms Dean’s world, and the fantastic characters that inhabit it. The world is a blend of reality and fantasy, with many identifying landmarks and the occasional strange being to throw you off the track. I was drawn into this from the first page, and couldn’t wait to see how Secret would solve all the puzzles.

The cast of characters here is much the same as the first book: Secret McQueen, her mentor Holden, her two wolf mates Lucas Rain and Desmond Alvarez, and of course the Tribunal: Sig, Daria and Juan Carlos. There are a few new villains, and one or two surprise twists to make this one edge-of-your-seat exciting.

I was sure I knew who the ‘bad guy’ was, and I was so wrong! Lucas’ sister Kellan was a terrific addition to the cast, and I hope we see more of her in the future. This story made me laugh, cry… and wonder who was behind the plot. I was especially surprised to see who had Secret’s back through this mad dash to save one vampire from an undeserved punishment.

There is a terrific “happy for now” ending, but with a twist that makes me want more. I recommend this for those who like to mix romance and mystery, and those who love surprises.

Dying is hard enough. Coming back to life is brutal.

Grimm’s Circle, Book 5

Vanya has been hunting and killing demons ever since one of them scarred her face and killed her sister. Correction—since she was forced to kill the demon possessing her sister.

Then some sort of angel offers her a deal she can’t refuse—that if she becomes one of them, she gets to kill even more demons. Tonight, she’s made that choice. The death she smells on the air will be her own—and she welcomes it.

Silence feels a darkness is looming. Change—something he has every reason not to welcome. The deeply hidden memories that robbed him of his past, of his own name, render him unfit to teach anyone the ways of the Grimm. Yet here he is in the dankest sex club in town, waiting to assume his charge—after he stands by and watches her die.

When Vanya awakes, their complicated, dangerous dance begins. And so does something else—a searing need that blisters along their unexpected mental connection. Silence shouldn’t be drawn to his student, but once they touch, he can’t think of a reason to stop. Even though acting out their darkest desires puts them in more danger than they realize.

Shiloh Walker has once again added to her Grimm’s Circle series. I love this world, with its dark side, and its wonderful sense of honor and duty.

Vanya is a hunter, but not for the usual prey. She hunts and kills demons, like the one that possessed her sister. That was the first demon she killed, and she has the scars to show for it. But it wasn’t her last, and one day, she was made an offer to join with a group whose one goal is to stop demons from harming humans. Only one little thing with this offer: Vanya has to die to become one of the Grimm, but she is willing to do what it takes.

Silence doesn’t like change, but he feels it coming. As one of the Grimm, he spends every day stopping the demons roaming the streets. When Will drops in to tell him he will be training the next Grimm, Silence is not sure he can do it. He has lost his past, his name, and even his voice in the centuries since he was human, and thinks Will is making a big mistake.

When Silence meets Vanya, the attraction is immediate, and once again he worries. How can he teach this woman, when he has no voice? But then the most intriguing thing happens-Vanya can hear his thoughts, and he can hear hers as well. For the first time in centuries, Silence can ‘talk’ to another person, but he also has to fight his growing need to make Vanya his in every way. Can Silence train Vanya in the ways of the Grimm? Will their growing attraction get in the way of their duty to protect? Or can these two find a way to be together and still carry out their mission?

The characters are, as ever, well crafted and multi-faceted people. The Grimm’s Circle series is fairy tales your mom never read to you, with the dark and gritty side of life coming through, and they are not for the faint of heart.

Vanya learned about demons when one possessed her sister, and she is determined to live the rest of her life eliminating every one she can. When Will offers her the chance to become one of the Grimm, a group of ‘guardian angels’ protecting the human race, she feels she has nothing to lose but her fragile life, and accepts. She is determined and strong, and ready to take her place as a Grimm. I liked watching Vanya grow into her new role, and enjoyed her interaction with her trainer, Silence.

Silence is not happy to be chosen to train Vanya, but he also knows that it is futile to refuse. He is strong and loyal, and yet vulnerable deep inside. He has been used and abused in his past, and has been robbed of his past, his name and even his voice. In spite of this, he is still on the side of good, and has spent his life as a Grimm tracking down the demons that threaten humanity. I liked watching as his heart and mind opened up to new possibilities with Vanya, and I enjoyed his delight and surprise as he found he could ‘speak’ with Vanya.

This is a story filled with edge of your seat action, scorching hot passion, and a couple of heart-rending moments to it. The journey that Vanya and Silence embark upon takes several intriguing twists and turns, and at times it seems like these two will never get along. As with all of the Grimm’s Circle books, one challenge was in trying to figure out what literary character was being depicted by Ms Walker’s characters, and this one was harder than most. I didn’t have a clue until near the end of the story, and then it was a wonderful surprise. There are a couple of things I recommend with this: tissues and lots of iced drinks.

Less than a year ago, Fianna Meadows was a pampered noble in the Faerie court. Then she was exiled, turned mortal and forced to work for a living—in a werewolf bar in Detroit, no less! Still, Fianna has to admit her new life isn’t so bad…particularly when it comes to Greg Novak, the bar’s sexy owner.

For Greg, keeping his hands off Fianna has been a challenge. But his sense of honor won’t let him get involved with a woman put in his care, even if Fianna is eager to explore her new feelings of lust. Resisting the temptation to claim her gets even harder when Greg’s grandfather, the region’s Alpha, orders him to marry and Fianna agrees to pretend to be his chosen mate.

Fighting his attraction to Fianna isn’t Greg’s only problem. Someone is killing werewolves and attacking other paranormal beings in Detroit. He vows to do whatever it takes protect both his pack and Fianna—even if that means giving her up…

Suspicion and betrayal are crouched to spring upon Greg and Fianna; two secondary characters who were previously involved in the exciting action in the past two books in the Urban Arcana series. In this latest adventure, the talented Ms. Spencer Pape has thrust them into the limelight to take center stage as a mystery finally gets solved. I’ve eagerly looked forward to finding out how the author would get Greg and Fianna together. The wait was worth it.

Greg and Fianna are about to get their story book ending amidst chaos and surprises as the author wove another intricate, detailed and emotionally charged tale. I was shocked as to who one of the villains turned out to be and I felt great sadness at the loss of what I thought was a great character with HEA potential.

This book has a greater impact for readers who have followed this awesome series but by no means would a first time reader get lost. In fact, they’d have the benefit of the conclusion of the drama and the revelation of all the players. So as a standalone, it will feel complete. For those of us who have read the first two books, the disclosures will have more of a shock and awe effect. In either event, Motor City Wolf is guaranteed entertainment.

Fianna as a character has had the most growth of all the personalities in the series. She initially started out as a villainess, but in time readers discovered she was a victim; a tragic figure caught in a power mad dysfunctional family and expendable. How this woman takes the punishment and not only thrives but earns the respect of her peers in amazing scenes that tested her mettle truly made Fianna a memorable person and a real heroine. I like her as a person and definitely as a mate to Greg.

Waters run deep with the hero, Greg. Of all the people that have come and gone in this series, he has the most to lose and he does. In the same vein, if a man benefits from a relationship with his friends, his friends will want to get rid of impotency. viagra prescription price This cipla viagra generic medication has been very effective in treating stress and trauma. It might be sildenafil 100mg price ED only if the problem continues its time to get help. The purpose in considering these is to shed levitra generic some light on the application of personality psychometric assessments and to identify what they are. The author wrote so many intense scenes surrounding him or the ones he loved that I reached for tissues several times. He was a man who knew he had a destiny but he didn’t want it. Not really. But fate and Ms. Spencer Pape knew he was the alpha for the job and when push came to bite, Greg didn’t let his pack nor readers down.

There are a couple of conflicts going on. The most adorable one and my favorite is the conundrum of Greg’s attraction to Fianna and his attempt at resisting it. It was totally fun when he capitulated and it made for some steamy reading. The other darker conflict is external. Greg has to face the ultimate betrayal, the loss of someone he grudgingly admits to loving and respecting, and his becoming what he never wanted to be. The big climax and action-filled showdown was tightly written with active voice all the way. It kept me riveted and hanging in suspense and I couldn’t flip those pages fast enough.

It was great seeing all of my favorite characters from the previous books and in Motor City Wolf, they had effective supporting secondary roles that kept the story interesting and the plot moving in a natural progression. I enjoy that sense of community and Ms. Spencer Pape balanced it well.

Motor City Wolf delights and astounds. It has everything I enjoy in a romance book. It has a strong emotional hook, a sweeping and powerful romance that overcomes their initial hesitance, shocking villains, and a love that stands against the worst magic and evil beings can throw at them. I can’t imagine what Ms. Spencer Pape has next up her sleeve but I can’t wait to find out. I’m completely captivated by this world she’s built and the characters she’s populated it with. What a great imagination!

DEMETRIUS—He’s the hulking, brooding warrior even his fellow Guardians avoid. Too dark. Too damaged. And given his heritage, he knows it’s best to keep everyone at arm’s length.

Isadora is missing. The words pound through his head like a frantic drumbeat. For her own protection, Demetrius did all he could to avoid the fragile princess, his soul mate. And now she’s gone—kidnapped. To get her back, he’ll have to go to the black place in his soul he’s always shunned.

As daemons ravage the human realm and his loyalty to the Guardians is put to the ultimate test, Demetrius realizes that Isadora is stronger than anyone thought.

And finally letting her into his heart may be the only way to save them both.

Demetrius always looked for a strong, confident female to warm his bed, everything his soul mate was not. He was dark to his soul mate’s light and did not want to corrupt her so instead he stayed as far away as he could while still protecting her. That was until he found himself trapped with her with no escape. Demetrius knows it means the end of all of his hard work, and everything he held sacred.

The personal growth Isadora displayed within this story was impressive. It was done in little changes so I did not notice until I reached the end of the story and realized that the princess may look the same, but she was a completely different woman. It made me appreciate the character, and the author at the same time. Most prevalent warning buy female viagra signs are mentioned here which are reflecting insufficient sexual strength and energy. You can improve it by taking diet or herbal preparations. viagra italy It is a standout amongst the most popular solution to deal viagra in the usa with sexual inconvenience. All of Isadora’s growth helped in the author’s ultimate goal. You can tell she really thought out the direction she not only wanted to story to go in, but also the series and she used every paragraph within this story to reach that goal.

The relationship development was just as significant as the personal development of the main characters. I saw the dynamic of their relationship change, and each individual characters growth into who they were meant to be. Even some relationships with minor characters grew and developed within this story. In the end I had no doubt that everyone would live together and meet any future obstacles together as a unit.

While reading this story I sometimes forgot that this was part of a series, because the story stood on its own so well. This is something I appreciated since I had not read the previous stories. The story also drummed up enough interest in the other characters that it made me want to read the stories I had missed, and want to continue to read the future stories in the Eternal Guardian series.

I absolutely adore Greek mythology and this story gave me plenty of what I wanted. It was so jam packed with mythology it reignited my love for the heritage. Others have compared this series to Sherrilynn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series and I would have to agree. Therefore, if you enjoy Sherrilyn Kenyon or Greek mythology I urge you to pick up the Eternal Guardian series you will not be disappointed.

Secrets and Seduction is a well written contemporary romance. The story was never predictable and tedious. Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen Ms. Beckenham shocked me with a different outcome. I did figure out a secret or two, but the way she revealed them was exceptional. The love scenes were sizzling and perfect in depiction. You felt the steam rising from the pages. She kept me enthralled and guessing the whole book, a significant quality in an author.

Secrets and Seduction is the type of story you want to read more about. I have no desire to imagine what happened to them, I need Ms. Beckenham to tell me. She wrote her characters beautifully and I want to know what she has in store for them, because whatever I can come up with, she will always top. This will be a permanent addition to my library and Jane Beckenham is now a must read author for me.
