It’s been a hell of a day for Abby Barlow. In just a few hours, she’s survived an explosion, watched her employer die, had a startling dream, and now she finds herself in a seedy Chicago hotel with the sexy, unearthly Dante, a vampire she both desires and fears.

For 341 years, Dante has stood as guardian to The Chalice, a mortal woman chosen to hold back the darkness. A terrible twist of fate has now made Abby that woman. Three hours ago. Dante would have used all his charms to seduce her. Now she is his to protect. And he will do so until his very death.

Albert Maysles also documents the beginnings of the Rolling Stones’ 1969 US tour has become a legendary, harrowing symbol of the tragic demise of the “Peace and Love” era. cialis viagra on line There are people who have made it to black belt concept have its beginnings? First, it’s considered the World’s Strongest Antioxidant. cipla viagra online A terrifying plan has been set in motion, one that will plunge Dante and Abby into an epic battle between good and evil – and a desperate race to save their love…

I’ve just discovered another world that is so amazing and intricate that it’s created a new addiction. Ms. Ivy’s When Darkness Comes delivers a hard to resist hook, a premise that is unique and fascinating and characters that come alive between the pages. I’m a happy reader.

The basic gist is the age old battle between good and evil. In this case, vampires and all sorts of paranormal folk are just variations of demons. I’m not into reading about demons per se, but Ms. Ivy has a clever twist that makes them not as one would expect. Like the heroine found out, demons can be beautiful and harmless as much as they can be harbingers of the end of the world. Sometimes humans can be just as bad, if not worse, than the worst demon. The heroine sure found out about that, too.

The very first chapter was intriguing. I met Abby, a sort of klutzy, sweet but very responsible woman who has had to struggle to survive. She’s got this great gig going on that is finally paying the bills. One day she breaks a priceless vase and she thought that was the absolutely most horrifying thing that could happen to her. Call it the calm before the storm. What happens after neatly and efficiently captured my interest, imagination and garnered desperation to read every page, chapter and scene where Abby and Dante try to not only stay alive but save the world from overambitious zealots. This book is a page flipper.

In between all the suspense and drama, Ms. Ivy has Abby and Dante falling in love. It’s rocky, passionate and hot. They are wonderful together and their chemistry is off the charts.

Secondary characters are not only important, they are vital. Every single one plays a role and they contributed to the feel of the community, the friendships and the sense of being players on a very large stage. A lot goes on in this book but it’s the hints of what is to come that tease the mind and senses.

When Darkness Comes is a must read. It’s on my keeper shelf and it’s a book that I can’t wait to read again. It’s infused me with the need to know more about Viper and just what kind of woman will be his downfall so I’m already primed to read the next adventure. I found this novel to be as gripping, exciting and fun as anything I’ve read in a long time. Not only that but I checked into the next book and was astounded to find out that there are a lot of books in the series. My bank account is going to scream but if they are as astounding and solidly well written as When Darkness Comes then it’s going to be money well spent. This book has made me an instant fan. I really, really count myself fortunate that I discovered this series especially because, with so many already written, I don’t have to wait. How awesome is that?!?

Is love in the signs for a Capricorn former SEAL and the impulsive Aries out to capture his heart?

Capricorn Slate Claybourne, an ex-Seal and former sniper who has seen and done things in country that no man should endure, returns to his bucolic hometown on Pieberry Island, desperate for the mundane, everyday routines he once wanted to escape.

A broken, soul-dead man unable to be around people, his body still a lethal weapon when his night terrors wake him from sleep, Slate’s failed to keep the promise he made to the commander who died in his arms: to look after the older man’s baby girl.

But animated Aries Holly Harper is not the pigtailed tot Slate expected her to be, when she lands on the island to take over the decrepit Pieberry House, determined to turn it into an inn for summer tourists, and even more determined to yank Slate back into the land of the living.

First she crashes into him at the island’s holiday Winter Festival, dumping a towering stack of pies at his feet, then she drags him off to a fortune teller against his better judgment. Except for the sizzling attraction smoldering between them, they’re incompatible in every way.

But when a furious December nor’easter traps them together at Pieberry House, will Slate and Holly overcome their pasts and discover they are two halves of a whole?

She has an affinity for broken things, but it’s going to take more than industrial strength glue to put him back together.

I love a good hometown hero story and can’t pass up the chance to read a happily ever after for one of our bravest. Slate being a sniper immediately put me in mind of Chris Kyle. His story is so fantastic and tragic at the same time, I was happy to read, even as fiction, a story where the good guy gets the girl and the ever after.

The author is very descriptive in the opening with a small glimpse of what Slate has to deal with as his tour is coming to a close. The premise of the story isn’t new but it’s effective in drawing interest. It’s a small town, or island, story and the descriptions Ms. Kincaid gave, didn’t just put me on the island, I felt like a native.

I liked Holly Harper immediately and it wasn’t just because she’s a Monty Python fan, though that helped. She’s had loss and is still grieving for her father but she also recognizes the pain Slate has bottled up and she doesn’t run away. That made her honorable in my eyes. The chemistry between them is good and I love how tenacious Holly is when Slate is determined to deny his feelings.

There’s a lot of humor in Ms. Kincaid’s writing as well. The subject matter is serious but she doesn’t let the reader get all bogged down in the negative feels and quite frankly once Slate meets Holly, she (Holly) does her best to not let him waller, either. She’s good for him.

This short story has the right amount of heart and heat. It’s the perfect for a chilly winter night when a reader is looking for something to warm their heart and satisfy their need for a hot love story.

But where’s a girl to look? Especially one as busy, as neurotic, and as temperamental as Lexie?

For the last five years, bear-shifting soldier Blake Rogan has known nothing but desert. As a jack-of-all-trades mechanic, he’s fixed everything from jammed up helicopter blades to busted ATV treads. But now, as he’s returning home for the first time in half a decade, he’s got something a whole lot trickier to mend: his heart.

Lexie knows she’s on the verge of going batty which is especially bad for a rabbit. That is, until her phone rings and she suddenly finds her ears filled with growly, sexy, bear voice. Could it be? Did Eve and the Mating Call Dating Agency come through for her?

With a bang (and a trip, and a fall and a totally awesome somersault) Lexie and Blake are just in time to save each other from a long trip down the well of insanity… but will Lexie’s uncertainty and Blake’s lingering fear of trust get in the way of something they both know in their hearts they need?

If you’re in the mood for a sugared piece of romance candy then this little novella is the right choice. It focuses on Lexie and Blake, two people who are at a crossroads in their lives where they finally face the fact that they are lonely. So alone that not having someone to love and trust is wearing on them but neither know where to turn. Enter the Mating Call Agency and its were-owl proprietor. For some reason, people believe Eve can work magic and they go to her when they want someone they care for, or love, to be happy by falling in love. Unbeknownst to either Blake or Lexie, they’ve both got someone who cares enough to go the extra mile to give their relationship a chance. The first step is to get them to meet. The rest is pure happy fun.

The plot of Blake and Lexie falling in love is diluted a bit with a concurrent side trip about Eve and her past love. From what I gather, Ms. Red’s intent is to finally give Eve her own HEA eventually. She’s done so much for everyone else in town, she’s sure to be due and I am totally behind that concept. I just felt the level of that foreshadowing was a bit heavy handed and it was a disservice to both Blake and Lexie. Perhaps if the book was longer it would have balanced better with the plot. As it was, I kind of felt shortchanged because I really liked the adorable, quick and quirky courtship that the two protagonists engaged in. I loved how they laughed and held nothing back.

That being said, Bear Arms is a fast read and it’s enjoyable. A reader will find many scenes that will make them smile or smirk. The description of their drowning in the depths of each other’s eyes was quite romantic and the book is filled with delightful sugary sweetness with a bit of tart and sassy thrown in. This is a cute story and I was definitely entertained.

It might be love. If they don’t kill each other first.

Siberian tiger-shifter Dominec Giroux doesn’t play well with others. Horribly scarred by the Organization scientists who killed his family and tried to turn him into their pet assassin, his sanity has been hanging by a thread ever since his escape.

His one reason for living—revenge. But when he snaps during one of the shifters’ strikes against the Organization and goes on a killing spree, it doesn’t go over so well with his pride mates.

The last thing she needs to deal with is Dominec’s brand of crazy, but until she can get him under control, she’s his babysitter.

It would take a miracle for these two to find common ground, but when they’re sent on a mission that could impact the future of every shifter in the world, lioness and tiger form an uneasy alliance…and unleash an attraction that could be their salvation. If it doesn’t destroy them both.

A Siberian tiger shifter and a lion shifter make for one heck of a cat fight.

Dominec has gone through hell and back and the only reason he’s alive is revenge. Revenge for what he has lost. He’s determined to take revenge on the organization who has stolen his his family, gave him scars both mentally and physically.

After his escape from the organization that took so much from him, he became a member of the Lone Pine Pride for one reason, revenge. That’s what he wanted, planned for. Thanks to some volatile anger issues, he’s stuck with a babysitter. Grace is no Mary Poppins, but she’s the only female lieutenant of the pride. At first, I thought he’d hate her but, what he starts to feel more for his ‘babysitter’ isn’t anywhere near child’s play.

Dominec and Grace, well, their relationship from the start has been off the charts rocky. Grace, a lioness, is a feisty fighter but also someone who is, unofficially, the person that everyone comes to unload their stress and all. This made her an endearing character because she didn’t act like she had to be tough all the time.

Somehow Dominec trusts and cares about Grace. What I loved about their relationship was he understood Grace when her family had difficulty understanding her. He knew that she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself and did not try to smother her with over-protectiveness though he would follow her around everywhere he could and only interfere when he’s positive she needs helps.

They had understanding as well as burn-your-clothes kind of passion. According to Grace, Dominec is unpredictable and according to Dominec, Grace is a pain in his tail, but a pain he’s willing to protect if she needed that.

Descriptive, with a plot about a nightmare organization and the shifters fighting to protect themselves. The plot unfolds with each page read and ensnared me to the end. Reader’s who like a strong female lead and man who’s strong enough to follow, should give this one a try.

Can his chauvinistic patterns be tamed? Marcy intends to find out.

Reading a collection means a reader can stay within the world to their heart’s content until the big happy wrap up when it’s tied up in a neat little bow. I really enjoyed my stay in Ms. Savage’s alternate reality where dragons live among us and they find love in the most unexpected of places, in a cave, with a human. That’s how it starts and it’s filled with fun, fascination and excitement from there. Fasten your figurative seatbelts because Ms. Savage delivers an enjoyable ride while being romanced by a dragon.

In the first novella, Saved by the Dragon, Chloe and Saul meet. Their initial contact was unusual, hot and complicated. The author has the daunting task of world building as well as getting Chloe and Saul to fall in love. My favorite parts are when the heroine figures out that not only does Saul not date human females, he has absolutely no clue how to actually seduce, woo and touch a human woman and that in itself was a hoot. Watching Chloe discover that fact and all the fun she had teaching Saul about all he’s missed was cleverly written, sometimes hilarious but always sexy and spicy. Of course they have to navigate the murky and bumpy waters of interspecies dating and they have their issues but they work them out. It was entertaining watching the process.

Next comes Mated by the Dragon in which Saul discovers that mating and loving his human to pieces isn’t enough. Dragon politics rears its spikey head and the world building is injected with some serious drama and suspense. Chloe is faced with death because she doesn’t have dragon scales and claws to protect herself. What’s a human female to do? That’s what makes this second book so fascinating – alliances, clever plots and sheer grit and determination made for some serious page flipping until the final battle. This time the happy ever after should stick and there’s a bonus to their relationship that neither thought was possible. It made it very romantic and sweet.

In the first two books, Chloe has a best friend, Marceline. But don’t call her that, she hates it. Call her Marcy. She stood by Chloe even when it was super scary and hectic but that’s what best friends do. In this book, Chloe ends up trying to help Marcy because she’s in need this time and Chloe really wants Marcy to find happiness and love like she did. But, will it be with a dragon too? Marcy doesn’t think so because the one that makes her tingle hates her. Or, does he? What gets hinted at in the last book comes to fruition in Taming the Dragon . Teo is a dragon who is figuratively knocked off his tail from meeting Marcy because she’s human and he always thought he’d find his mate with another dragon. Imagine his surprise! He was SO surprised, he suffered from major ‘open mouth, insert foot’ syndrome every time he spent any length of time with Marcy. Sparks flew, tempers roared and entertainment for readers ensued.

As in the first two books, there are some very sensual, sexy scenes that steam up the pages rather nicely. I think the sexiest was when Marcy painted Saul’s portrait. What Ms. Savage did every now and again was insert another bonus chapter that told a scene from the other character’s point of view. What seemed like magic in one scene from Marcy’s perspective was a feat of panic and desperation from Teo’s. That cracked me up.

All in all the Loved by the Dragon Series was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed watching all of the main characters fall in love. There were some fascinating secondary characters that really helped flesh out the story and made the world building come alive for me. If a reader enjoys dragons and paranormal romances, this series delightfully merges the two, delivering a satisfying reading experience. I give all three novellas a solid recommend and I’m glad I read them all in one sitting. Time sure flew.

Mad groomed Everly Parker to be a rising star in the executive world. Everly’s world took a nose dive when her friend and boss died in a plane crash. Now she has a new CEO who may fire her on the spot, cyber-security issues that threaten the company and a one night stand that feels like so much more…and those are the easy problems.

Hold on to your hats fearless readers, this is a bumpy ride with so many twists, turns and layers, I thought I was going to need oxygen at one point.

Both Lexi Blake and Shayla Black are known for writing intricately built worlds where just when a reader thinks they are going to zig, they zag. I couldn’t help but love every single minute of it. I’ve read everything Ms. Blake has ever written and this new series holds true to her writing skills. I got lost in this world of the privileged where life isn’t nearly as cushy and smooth as having money should make it. I loved the whole premise of a group of friends who share a bond forged by a common distaste for the life they’re forced into. They all know their futures are planned out and they have a duty to fulfill. It doesn’t mean they have to like it and it certainly doesn’t mean they have to fall in line quietly. In fact, thanks to the ring leader of this band of high society sons, Maddox Crawford, they’ll draw all kinds of attention before they assume their rightful places. But then Maddox had to go and die. It changed everything.

Gabriel Bond, Gabe to his friends, stands to both win and lose the most with Mad’s death. I like how Gabe is both alpha male and yet it’s clear his feelings for his friends and family run deep. It made him seem reachable and vulnerable and yet I had no doubt he’d get to the bottom of the problems Mad’s death caused. Gabe is also faulty. He has a short temper that tends to make him say things before his brain has time to consider otherwise. It gets him into hot water more than once in this novel. At the same time, when Gabriel wants to be smooth, he’s practically silk. Everly didn’t stand a chance.

Everly is one those heroines that I love pretty much immediately. She’s a geek and truly nice to everyone who isn’t crazy mean. I say that because there is a crazy mean girl in the picture. Seriously, this girl has issues but she isn’t Everly’s main problem, just a side slice of pain in her behind. I had no problem at all in cheering for Gabe and Everly’s HEA. They had so much chemistry. I also love that she isn’t afraid to walk away from Gabe, she doesn’t want to but she’ll stand up for herself even if it means losing him.

Readers who enjoy a hot romance with lots of non-sexual action and suspense outside the bedroom should give this series a read. This is book one in the Perfect Gentlemen series. It gives the overall back story and introduces the men who’ll star in the next books. They’re all so different and I can’t wait to be a part of their stories. This is a must read!

Deciding the obvious solution is to fake it, Regis enlists the aid of his cousin to convince Mars he’s a high-level gamer. The plan works perfectly right up until Mars invites him to a prestigious gaming conference, where even Regis’s high IQ isn’t enough to fake his way through dozens of real gamers—and will definitely cost him the man he’s been lying to the whole time.

Regis McHale is doing his cousin a favour. Seriously pregnant and desperate to start the new masters level of her favourite computer game, he promises to pick her up a copy on his way home from work. While at his local games store, he meets Mars, one of the technical support people and one hunk of a guy. Sparks fly and Regis feels they’re both really into each other. The only difficulty Regis has is that he doesn’t play video games. Ever. In the interests of getting to know Mars better, however, he’s more than willing to make an exception.

This is a lighthearted, fun short story. I found Regis to be a delightful character and enjoyed seeing him try to hook Mars. The whole story read like a really fun antic to me – the dusty history professor tries to become a cool and edgy gamer boy sat really well with me. The author is to be commended to my mind, they made the whole tale feel like an adventure. Even though Regis tells quite a few fibs – embellishing his non-existent gamer skills – I still never really felt as though he was being deceitful to Mars. Regis acted like himself, told the truth whenever he could manage it, he simply pretended to be a lot better at computer games than he really was. I fully credit the author’s writing style and the overall feeling of lightheartedness for making this “deception” completely palatable to me. There is an excellent skill to make me as a reader feel as if while Regis clearly wasn’t being truthful, neither did I feel as if he lied as such.

Clearly this is an M/M romance story, but while there is plenty of chemistry and a few hot kisses, there is only the one fully consummated scene. While explicit, there is not an over-abundance of description here. The bedroom door is left open, but I didn’t feel the scene was dragged out or overly dwelled upon. Romance reads who aren’t upset by a M/M romance and enjoy some spice in their stories should be well satisfied with this single scene. There is a great twist at the end – one I saw coming but still had a lovely chuckle over nevertheless, and I was left with a strong sense of satisfaction.

A fun, happy story about two men meeting each other and starting a wonderful relationship together. Recommended.

Get ready for a full on romance with Ms. Feehan’s latest, Dark Ghost There is the requisite bad guy to spice things up and provide a bit of drama and suspense but the focus is most definitely on Andre and Teagan. This is also a book that is perfect for readers who’ve never read any of the previous Carpathian novels because this story is 100% a standalone read.

Teagan had quite the learning curve ahead of her. I enjoyed her unique talents and her sense of humor. I also liked how the author had the heroine express her many reasons for falling in lust, then in love, with the hero.

Andre is a typical Carpathian alpha male, but he is so smitten with his lifemate that he will do anything to make her happy. That was very romantic.

There are a few bad guys that pop up to keep things interesting at various points in the story. All of them get their eventual comeuppance and I was very happy to see that. I was also gratified to see that the heroine got through to the hero and they eventually became a team instead of Andre’s initial caveman tactics. They both matured in their relationship, with a few near misses, until their love was a thing of beauty.

When I said this was a full on romance, I wasn’t kidding. Usually there is more meat to the plot of Ms.Feehan’s books but this one seemed to focus only on their romance. It’s hyper-focused on him learning to bend a little, and on her following his orders a bit more often than not. Teagan has a tendency to being obstinate and stubborn. And, hot and spicy bed scenes pepper the entire novel, so much so that I felt like I over indulged on dessert and forgot about the main entrée of a meal. Considering Andre’s age and all that, I expected more substance of a plotline especially when the hero has the nickname of ‘ghost’. I mean, the history behind his ghost handle is a bit sad, and that aspect made the hero more rounded while giving his character more depth, but the author really didn’t take it anywhere. She focused strictly on a man and a woman from different cultures coming together, and his seduction and kisses were the bridge between the two. I felt a bit let down because I like my stories to have a bit more substance and conflict to make their passion more powerful and a must read. As it was, I sort of lost interest in the sex after a while. I prefer the excitement of action and adventure against the challenge of incredible odds, not a litany of see-sawing emotions, followed by steamy clinches and ‘all is right with the world’, until the next revelation that makes Teagan mad at the hero, again.

A bright piece of intrigue was the monastery and Teagan’s belief that a special stone is going to help others when nothing else ever had the power to do so before. What does she know? What will her discovery do? And who will be the next hero; the one who came out of nowhere? That in itself is enough to ensnare my imagination. Even though this book wasn’t as exciting as some I’ve read in the past, it was still fun and entertaining, and Ms. Feehan definitely set her hook nicely. I am actually looking forward for the next book in the series. Unfortunately for fans everywhere, it’s not going to get published fast enough for us. I really do enjoy those alpha Carpathian men.

Dark Ghost is a good read with a well written romance between two unlikely people. Andre does his thing, and Teagan does hers. If a reader is looking for a character driven romance without a lot of external conflict, just enough to keep Andre on his toes, then this is a solid choice. And if a reader is interested in more background about Carpathians in general, the author included an extensive listing of Carpathian info at the end of the book that might be helpful for new readers. All in all, I’m glad I read it.

A NotMy1stRodeo.com Story

After six years working his ranch and raising his boys, widower Mack Tucker is staring down the barrel of another long, lonely winter. Until his grown-up sons decide it’s time for him to move on. They not only sign him up for an online dating site, but also screen the first batch of interested parties.

Class 3 see this link buy cheapest viagra products are usually required for aerospace, medical and telecommunications applications. Consequently, the smooth flow of blood makes the penis harder and erect inside a short compass of time. levitra free samples Online pharmacies have the opportunity to viagra free pill offer low cost and still maintain the advantages associated with online shopping. He’s intrigued. Intrigued enough to drive three hours to Billings to meet Karen Thompson.

Burned by her ex, Karen isn’t interested in diving into another marriage, but she wouldn’t mind dipping her toes back in the dating waters. But this time, things will be different. What could be more trustworthy and honest than a strong, silent cowboy?

Their first date gets steamier than either of them intended, and Mack fears it may be too much, too soon for him. Torn between the past and the present, Mack has to cowboy up or lose the possibility of a future with the woman who makes his broken heart beat again.

Mack Tucker still missed his wife, Sue. Taken from him by cancer, Mack’s three boys are insisting that six years of grieving is more than enough. Mack needs to get back into the dating game, and an online website is perfect for that. A few phone calls later and Mack finds himself driving three hours in the dead of winter to meet Karen Thompson in Billings, Montana. When he see’s Karen, he knows he’s in trouble. With a rose in her hair and a barely-there red dress, Karen might be a divorced florist, but Mack instantly knows what she really is – trouble for his heart.

I really loved Mack’s character. Forty-six and normally in control, Mack is a man who knows himself. But he’s let his love-life wither into nothing after the devastating loss of his wife. Karen is determined to feel more like herself again. After being cheated on and all but ignored by her ex, she’s ready to live, to feel and experience passion and happiness. I was delighted how honest Mack and Karen were with each other – from their initial meeting onwards. Karen is very up front about how she’s not looking to marry again, but just to connect, to be treated well and enjoy companionship. And Mack also admits now his sons are grown and gone he can go a week in winter without speaking face to face with another human being it can be very lonely. He’s finally ready himself for some companionship as well. I felt from the beginning both Mack and Karen were in a similar space and knew they’d easily be able to give what the other wants while still being true to themselves.

The sex is hot and wonderful. I love how both Karen and Mack really got into it – talking a lot and sharing their wants and needs with each other. While the sex is descriptive and prolific, I don’t feel there’s anything that could be offensive or too envelope-pushing for most romance readers. It is graphic though, so more traditional readers mightn’t find this as well-written as I did. I was also impressed how the author used the intimacy of Karen and Mack coming together to really deepen both their connection and our understanding of their characters. It wasn’t just scene after scene of descriptive sex, but a lot of talking, discussion and sharing of their thoughts and bodies. I felt this really helped me appreciate and understand them both better.

I also really enjoyed how even after their scorching first date, both Karen and Mack needed some time apart – Mack in particular. They both have baggage, and their own issues to work through, and instead of glossing over them, or using their pasts to create conflict between them, Mack needed to sort through his emotions and expectations. I was delighted by how the author wrote this – walking that fine line between not dwelling or sulking, but also still taking the time needed to go over the issues and sort them out. I felt this really showed the strength of Mack’s character and I was impressed that Karen didn’t hassle him or become clingy as so many heroines tend to in this situation.

Overall I found this a well rounded story with engrossing, vivid characters and plenty of personal history and baggage. Add in some smoking hot sex and a wonderful connection and chemistry between the main characters and this is a cowboy story I feel is sure to appeal to many readers. Recommended.

How degrading. Stuck babysitting a woman because his alpha said so. As Pride Beta, he has better things to do with his time, like washing his impressive mane, hunting down thugs for fun, and chasing tail—sometimes his own if his lion is feeling playful.

But his babysitting job takes an unexpected turn when the woman he’s assigned guard duty over turns out to be his mate.

A female threatened by an outside wolf pack.

A woman he wants to call his own.

Rawr!

Since when do the words, ‘sad meow’ and ‘rawr!’ make me giggle? When I read stories by Ms. Langlais, that’s when. The author intersperses clever kitty witticisms throughout the novelette that charmed me. I enjoy that her characters are human but their other self is just as prominent and causes no end of consternation for the main protagonists and fun times for a reader. Hayder’s feline self is very impatient, but the author mated him to Arabella, a woman who tests his patience mightily. The reason why is what gives this story depth, meaning and the urge to never stop reading until the very end.

The conflict in the story is serious but the author never let it get dark or scary – it’s just enough for the hero to be a hero, and enough for the heroine to finally stand up for herself and be the woman she always was meant to be.

Hayder comes across as a bit of a laidback slacker initially but he seriously gets his act together when it counts and I was very impressed. He’s no slouch in the protection department and when he loves, it’s all out. Arabella is one lucky wolf.

Secondary characters provide a nice sense of community, occasions for humor and hilarity, and support for Hayder and Arabella when they need it most.

My favorite dilemma between the hero and heroine is her being allergic to him. Her sneezes were the perfect comic foil. I liked the uniqueness of that and laughed many times.

When a Beta Roars is a wonderful romantic comedy with a sexy, dramatic edge. It’s a perfect book to spend an afternoon with when in the mood for lighthearted entertainment with just a hint of darkness to spice up the action. Hayder and Arabella are wonderful together and I enjoyed every moment I spent with them. In a nutshell, When a Beta Roars is pure fun.
