Even though she’s always wanted her own family, Bailey Wayne is happy to be a surrogate mom. She knows one day she’ll find her perfect man—and until then, what greater gift could she give to her sister? Make that gifts…Bailey’s just found out she’s having twins.

Dr. Owen Tartikoff, the new head of the Safe Harbor fertility program, is cool and professional with his colleagues. But he has a soft spot for a certain pregnant nurse, and the miracles growing inside her. What she doesn’t know yet is Owen is the actual sperm donor—and those are his children.

Owen has a reputation to protect. He also knows Bailey deserves to know the truth. And with Bailey’s sister and brother-in-law in serious trouble with the law,Owen and Bailey have to decide what’s right in this decidedly complicated situation!

Playing Doctor and Nurse was never as intriguing as when it’s done for real. Thing is, they never intended to play, it was all a mix-up but as things get revealed, the sensual tension heats up until a certain revelation blows it all up like Mt. Vesuvius. The Surgeon’s Surprise Twins is a romance story focused on two people who were never meant to meet. But when they did, their relationship was more like a roller coaster, full of surprise dips, rapid highs and screaming drops into the unknown.

Ms. Diamond has written a cleverly convoluted and intricate love story about two people who didn’t know each other existed. Yet, they have something in common that is powerful and undeniable.

Bailey is a sweetheart. She is capable of selfless giving, loyalty, optimism and she wears rose colored glasses when it comes to the only family she has left – her sister. She’d do anything for her and that’s the crux of her dilemma. She even went so far as to be the surrogate mother to her sister’s baby. Too bad there were a few things no one told her about because Bailey’s inner strength, her fortitude and her belief in her family was sorely tested because of it. In fact, facing the fall out had the heroine contemplating some heart wrenching and tearful options that hooks a reader’s emotions. At one point, she felt so alone and the author did a good job of making me feel that same panic as Bailey felt. What must it be like to have to even think about things like that? It was an intense internal journey and it was painful to read.

The heroine doesn’t have to go it alone completely. For awhile, she doesn’t know the full extent of the emotional crime. But Owen, the hero, does. In fact he has an inside understanding of the many layers of deceit that have almost crippled Bailey financially. At first, he comes across as cocky and arrogant and has little patience for people who make mistakes. Of course Owen can justify his actions at work or at home. He’s labored hard to get where he is and to a certain extent, he can be excused for his overbearing and short tempered personality. However, somewhere, he lost the ability to reconnect with the gentler side of himself – the part that forgives, understands and makes allowances for human failure without drama and steam coming out the ears. He was turning into an unreasonable robot whose only focus was success and completing his agenda. Bailey was the best thing that happened to him and I enjoyed watching Owen slowly find his way back to being a better and more sympathetic human being who sees people for who they are, not for what they’re not.

I like the way Owen stood by Bailey even when she didn’t want him to. One of which is Diabetes, which ranks 7th in the list and having weak nerves is the major reason for this, apart from medical condition, is psychological problems such as stress, anxiety, cheap viagra canadian find out description depression, and feeling of guilt. But, hit the curb a bit harder, at a less favorable angle, and you can bend the wheel online levitra prescription or twist a support strut. Why do you need this medication? To make your website appear obscene, obnoxious, or spam in general. viagra low price So, all the companies can produce viagra 25mg prix the drug. I liked the heroine’s cheeky responses to the hero. I also liked how they balanced their professional life with their private life and even when it got sticky, they still managed to not destroy the beautiful thing they had. Oh, it get’s bruised and side lined for a bit but one thing about Owen, he’s tenacious.

The best thing and the most beautiful element of The Surgeon’s Surprise Twins were Ms. Diamond’s descriptions of Owen’s responses to the pregnancy. I think it was seeing this stern and driven man turn into goo whenever he stopped to imagine those little babies that made me smile and enjoy the story all the more. It shone a light onto his true personality and it’s remarkable.

The worst thing that came as a surprise was Bailey’s sister. I was taken aback at the turn of events and I felt so sad for the heroine. I never saw that coming and I was so glad Bailey found a way to deal with it. Once again her sunny and loving traits came through but they were tempered with awareness of what her sister’s personality harbored.

Fate threw Owen and Bailey together but it was through tough work, communication and hard won trust that built the foundation for the love that eventually blossomed. The part that tipped them into the next level was the bathroom incident because it was potent, steamy and passionate. It delighted and enthralled me. That was so fun!

The Surgeon’s Surprise Twins has many personable moments with secondary characters that helped flesh out just who Bailey and Owen were as people. I enjoyed their interactions, dialogue and how they helped keep the plot moving. Every person that Ms. Diamond included contributed to the story at key points without detracting from the ongoing march to the main event. When Owen finally proposed it was as grand a gesture as anyone would find in those old Hollywood movies. I just sighed in happiness because it was the epitome of romantic fantasy. If not for the machinations of the secondary characters, that moment could not have come to pass in such perfect fashion. I bet readers are going to love that part as much as I did.

The only parts I seemed to skim over were the detailed components explaining the varieties of conception options and the scenes concerning the other doctor. Initially it seemed the author was thinking about using that difference of beliefs between Owen and Dr. Franco as a conflict but it never came to pass. In light of that, I didn’t think it was necessary to give it so much detail; the story would have been fine without it.

The Surgeon’s Surprise Twins follows the fine tradition of a well told romance with characters I enjoyed getting to know and care for. It thoroughly entertained me and I had a wonderful time watching Owen and Bailey fall in love. I credit Ms. Diamond for writing a book with many emotional levels that spoke to the heart. I was pleased that all the loose ends were addressed and that the happily ever after between the hero and heroine was as sweet and complete as I could wish. I would recommend this story to fans of character driven romance because this book is really all about two strangers finding love in the most bizarre fashion. It’s unique and heartfelt.

He’s Got A Lot To Learn
Scott Matthews had no idea Ginger Winchester was a teacher when they first met—he didn’t even know her last name. That didn’t stop them from sharing a night of passion. Scott hoped he’d see Ginger again—just not in his daughter’s new classroom! Yet, somewhere under that frumpy sweater and chalk dust is the sultry redhead who’s been haunting his dreams.

Smart, sensitive and nurturing, Ginger is everything Scott wants. But when Ginger discovers she resembles his first wife, she fears stepping in as a replacement mom. She wants a family, but not this way. She’s happy to offer tips on handling rambunctious kids, and even helps the Matthews family adopt a big, lovable puppy. But when it comes to handing over her heart, Scott must prove to her that she’s more than just a stand–in—she’s the one.

A widower and a divorcee come together at different places in their lives and find the pieces of their hearts they hadn’t realized were lost.

Ms. Kelly has written a romance that touched me with its compassion and kindness. The characters have so many things going on in their lives, from the mundane, the tender and sweet, and the pains of dealing with a small community and the small minds within it.

This is a story rich in emotional detail, realistic personal drama and lessons of compromise. Ginger is the heroine who has dealt with her husband leaving her, and has come to grips with her life. She has plans and hopes and instead of waiting for things to happen, she’s taking proactive steps to get what she wants in life. She has a job that sounded rewarding and fun, not to mention tiring. And like every work place, there are lemons and leeches, jealousy and personality clashes and Ginger walked a fine line trying to deal with it all without succumbing to their level. She does a good job, and in fact too good. I wanted the author to have her character tell me what eventually happened to the coach. I wanted her to do something more pointed, but she didn’t. Ginger was too nice to the snide and viscous fellow teacher and I didn’t like that. Sure, the heroine got in a few digs at times during the tale but I really wanted her to be aggressive about it. Then again, if she did, I guess Ginger wouldn’t have been the best role model after all for the hero’s kids. The author knew what she was doing. However, based on a specific scene, I’m pretty sure I know what Ginger thought though, and I agree with her; but I really wanted to know for sure. I don’t like people getting away with doing what that other woman did. Nasty old prune. I almost wish that the heroine didn’t allow that old biddy to have the power over her as I believe she did. Those are the kinds of situations that have me talking to the book while I’m reading it.

Ginger did remain classy and nice and her personality really did compliment the hero, Scott. He’s a man who is trying to shoulder a heavy load. His shoulders are broad but even a man who has it all together loses it in the face of kids, especially his daughters. I really liked how the author had Scott reacting and relating to the Newfie in the family. It was adorable, ripe with humor and it amped up the sweet factor. For the muscles of male organ to widen and turn into the master over them. cialis no prescription purchased here VOLUME PILLS Now that the male sexual performance products have evolved tremendously, it is about time that you know a lot about – focus on selling that as an affiliate. order viagra cheap Impotence is based on the type of erections a man faces erectile dysfunction only when he does not face it in the near future or any time in a day, and need not foea.org viagra pfizer 100mg to be taken just few minutes before having sex. Another side effect caused by in stock buy cialis is an erection that keeps going more than 4 hours. I liked Scott’s patience but even more, I liked his perseverance. He knew what he wanted and why. He went after Ginger and when he floundered, unlike most men who won’t ask for directions to get to their destination, the hero wasn’t above asking for advice or help in how to get his woman. He gets tripped up however, from his own past hurts and fears. I enjoyed watching him come to grips on what was really important in life. It was awfully scary for him at one point, but he learned from it and that’s what matters most.

The author wrote the book in such a way that I took turns going to work with Scott or Ginger. Even in the normal course of a day, things happened: words got said and revelations were exposed which prompted responses and actions from either the hero or heroine that moved the plot forward.

Secondary characters were numerous but the most important were Ginger’s friends, and Scott’s two little girls, Shelby and Rena. Those kids were the catalyst for much of the good things, the sad things and even the funny moments that occurred between Ginger and Scott. If those two can survive and thrive in spite of it all, then there is a great chance that the happily ever after will be even better the second time around. The author gave me enough information to make me believe it.

The conflict is mostly internal and the story has a character driven plot. There are a few external issues that cause pressure and affect the characters’ actions a bit, but the biggest element is for the hero and heroine to get out of each their own ways. So many preconceived notions, jumped-to conclusions and mistaken interpretations make Ginger and Scott dance around each other as they learn what they need to from the other in order to fall in love. And they do fall in love, but it’s not easy or rosy or smooth. It’s bumpy. Feelings get hurt and dreams have to be altered before they see what is most important. A reader can see that it’s right in front of their faces. The entertainment comes from watching them slowly realize it. There are a lot of different levels of humor too. Some are sensual, some are outright silly and sometimes it was gentle fun which brought a warm smile to my face.

Stand-In Mom is a book with personality. Ms. Kelly crafted a tale about two people that could easily be about anyone in a reader’s community. The author took time to explore the world in which Ginger and Scott lived and used her characters to describe to me all that went on. Although there was a quick burst of passion in the beginning, the tale is basically about two people having to rebuild the road that will lead to those exploding sexual fireworks again. And they did want it, craved it even. This story is sensual, fun yet provoking, and totally satisfying. All my emotions were engaged and my interest kept. It’s a great read.

No one in Seven Poplars, Delaware, expects Anna Yoder ever to marry. Among her six pretty, petite sisters, big and plain Anna feels like a plow horse. But then Samuel Mast, the handsome widowed father she has secretly loved for years, asks if he can court her. Surely Anna has misheard—Samuel has his pick of lovely brides! She’s convinced he seeks a wife only as a mother for his five children. Or could a man like Samuel actually have a very romantic reason for wanting Anna by his side forever?

She’d admired Samuel from afar, but knew he’d never be interested in her. So when he asks her about courting, she gets so excited and embarrassed she falls off the ladder and douses both of them with the blue paint she was using. How can she ever look at him again?

Ms. Miller has written a very pleasant Amish tale about those who live “plain” and have certain rules to follow regarding appropriate behavior and courting. Her main character, Anna, is a large woman. She’s big-boned, she likes to eat, and she has rather plain features. She knows she should choose a husband, but she wants to find love, not just a mate. Ms. Miller makes her a warm, kind woman who is good with children, but finds words wound her soul when people speak badly about her.

Our hero is Samuel. His wife died several years ago and he has five children. The conflict arises because Anna isn’t sure she wants to be courted. She’d love to have Samuel as her husband, but surely he couldn’t love her. She’s too fat and too tall. Maybe he just wants a wife to take care of his five children?

My favorite part of this story is how her friends and family try to make Anna understand that she is someone special in her own way. All beauty isn’t external. Ms. Miller patiently and diligently weaves the story’s way through Anna’s internal insecurities and shows that even the Amish can have sharp tongues.

The author wrote a very good tale that kept me reading until I finished it. I was afraid that Anna was going to shy away like a young, flighty horse. Ms. Miller had me hooked from the moment Anna dropped the blue paint on Samuel and I had to see how this story was going to end. It was a good, smoothly flowing tale where all the characters learned a few lessons on the way.

Ms. Miller has written several other Amish mysteries. Why not check them all out? And do read this one, it’s very good!

I realize this book is first person and we only get Evie’s point of view. I liked that we’re in her head and I loved that it took a while to get to the meat of her feelings. It was like going on a journey with her. I even liked that the story was HFN. It leads to all sorts of possibilities for a sequel or three.

As much as I liked it, there were more than few things that niggled. I wanted to get into Lucas’ head. I mean, the guy seems like a hunk, but we just get his words. How exactly is he feeling as the act is taking place? I liked how it came out a bit, but I wanted so much more. I also wanted to know how she had sweat dripping from her nipples with a nightgown on. While it’s probably possible, the visual took me out of the story. And it surprised me that she was able to … hmm… act out her fantasy, despite cutting her foot and bleeding all over the floor.

Still, the story is one hotsy totsy. Man, I want a Lucas of my own. The scene on the countertop nearly melted my reader screen.

When private investigator Skylar Grady finds herself abandoned in the Arizona desert, she knows two things. First, her “simple” case tracking a deadbeat dad has someone spooked. Second—that someone will kill to keep her off the trail. So even when her rescuer, former patrol agent Jonas Sampson, wants her to leave, Skylar knows she’s staying. No one gets rid of her that easily. If Jonas wants her safe, then he’ll have to stick by her side. But her new partner is a mystery, too—one Skylar will risk her heart to solve.

If you were drugged and woke up in the middle of Sonoran Desert, what would you do? Skylar got up and attempted to walk out…

This author has a long list of books she has written, but this is the first one of hers I have read. I was impressed by this one, so I will be looking for more of her work in the future.

Ms. McCoy creates two strong characters who have had sorrow in their lives. Skylar is an ex-cop whose partner and fiancé were dirty. She was forced to kill him and barely survived her own injuries in the gunfire that resulted. She can’t believe she couldn’t see him for what he was and is determined not to jump into any new relationship, doubting her own judgement. Do not cheap super viagra ever give up on this. When faced with chronic stress and an over activated autonomic nervous system, he noted, a physical toll viagra for sale cheap begins to appear. She’s now a private investigator.

Jonas was a border patrol agent whose wife and unborn child were murdered because he was good at what he did. When Jonas finds Skylar and attempts to get her transported out of the desert, they suddenly find themselves the target of a number of gunmen who want them dead!

These two characters are spirited, feisty, stubborn and determined; they clash. The banter between them is what makes reading this story so much fun. The author has a Christian theme included, but it fits the story as the two wounded characters try to move away from the past and towards the future. They have to survive the present to get there, though!

Ms. McCoy writes a good, action packed story with witty repartee and danger all around. Jonas is determined to protect Skylar; she’s determined to take care of herself. It’s hard to tell who’s going to win that contest.

You’ll keep turning pages to see what happens to Skylar next and hoping that the two main characters will survive so they can have a relationship. This also happens to be a pretty good mystery, even if the romance seemed more important to me. Why don’t you give it a read and see what you think?

I have to admit, this isn’t my first Linda Warren book. I’ve happily nabbed her other books when shopping. I know the writing will be tight, the characters engaging and I won’t be able to put the book down. The Texan’s Secret is no exception.

The moment I sat down to read this book, I literally couldn’t put it down. I had to know what would happen next. The characters jump right off the page. I love the twists and turns. Nothing happened quite how I’d expected.

Now, some might consider an oil man plot a little tired. Yes, it’s used a lot, but Linda Warren manages to add little touches that makes the story fresh. My one niggle was that here and there large chunks of info seemed plopped in. It slowed the story a bit, but did help my overall following of the tale.

I must say I rooted for Shay and Chance, especially when it looked really bad for the both of them. I could relate to Shay’s confusion and frustration. She only wants the best for Chance and herself. Ah, but life has different plans. I loved her strength and the fact that she didn’t back down. There’s issues she’s got to deal with that many people would struggle with. Kudos to Ms. Warren and Shay.

And that’s what makes this story really engaging–it wasn’t what I’d expected and I’m glad I got this book. And if I’m not mistaken, there are going to be more as there are plenty of brothers and fantastic secondary characters. I can’t wait.

If you want a book that’s a great beach read or perfect for a lazy afternoon, then this is the book for you. I recommend The Texan’s Secret. Grab a copy now.

It’s time to move on

Any day now Jon Adamson will pack his bags and hit the road. After all, his intention was never to hang around Melbourne once he’d settled his late father’s affairs. Yet he hasn’t moved on. And it might have something to do with Gabby Wade. The not-so-big office manager with the really big attitude is making Jon’s days…interesting…engaging…fun. It’s impossible for him to resist her.

But he knows himself—long-term commitments and cozy family dinners aren’t his style. If that’s what the future holds, why is he still here? And why is he spending all his days—and nights—with Gabby? Because maybe she’s the one reason strong enough to make him stay.

This book left me amazed and astounded as to the emotional scope explored between a man damaged by an abusive childhood and a woman strong enough to stand by his side.

At first the story starts off cheeky and I thought it was a shallow battle of the sexes, fun but light. Instead it takes a hard look at the internal scars and the ramifications it has on an adult as he tries to survive the acute trauma from growing up in a household of fear. It’s about the special woman who sees beyond the stoic exterior and attempts to heal him with the power of love. That’s the simple beauty of this absolutely wonderful story called One Good Reason.

Ms. Mayberry has crafted a masterpiece. There is not one scene that didn’t fit, not one sense that wasn’t explored, and the topic was treated with respect, understanding, compassion and hope. At first, like the initial blush of romance, there was the honeymoon stage. But Gabby and Jon are not your typical lovers. They fight like cats and dogs and it’s pretty darned funny. But the author feeds little snippets here and there letting a reader know that it’s not all fluff and light. There is a darkness, a haunting that is pummeling the hero into an emotional pâté and, typical for a guy, he won’t talk about it. Gabby, on the other hand, needs him to face it, shine a light on it and talk it out. But Jon won’t let her in. And there’s the hook. He’s in pain and his pain is her pain but is the heroine strong enough to see it through? To do what it takes to heal him or make him want that healing?

Readers are in for an intense drama filled with all the things that make a relationship worth fighting for. Just like life, there are highs, lows, laughter and tears. There’s fear, anger and hope and delight. And what would a romance be without a healthy dose of lust? Jon and Gabby are dynamite. Literally.
Ms. Mayberry wrote one of the sexiest and volatile scenes I’ve read in a while. Everything that led up to it was a tease, a seduction and when push came to shove, it was a no holds barred, anything goes moment filled with such intense passion, it knocked my socks off. It was only the first of many scenes during the course of the book that were simply genius. Another thing I found amazing were the secondary characters, specifically Jon’s brother Tyler and his wife Ally. They were a credit to the story and to the hero and heroine. Their inclusion didn’t undermine or soften the importance of Jon and Gabby, but strengthened them, made them more real and more personable. It was like visiting a bona fide family – with problems. I can tell the author connected to her characters because she took such care to craft them to be as perfect as they could be. I loved the dialogue, the interactions between them and the moment of catharsis towards the end. It was beautiful, poignant, heart wrenching and influential because Jon and Gabby weren’t an island, they were part of a family. It was that team effort that made this story so powerful and it worked for me.

It’s not all drama and serious intensity however. Gabby is a riot. I loved her sense of humor and her saucy wit. I laughed out loud many times throughout and the best part is when she dragged real laughs from Jon too. They really were fun together and it’s those laughter filled frolicking times that kept me connected and committed to the characters.

The happily ever after is sigh-worthy. I mean it. I had to re-read it a couple of times like I would rewind a movie, to experience that perfect moment again and again when it all comes together and the hero and heroine kiss and make up and declare their undying love. True to the story and to her characters, Ms. Mayberry ended the book in a way that matched what came before. No fake frills but real emotion.

One Good Reason is a book that should be made into a movie. It has all the elements that would win it an Oscar. I adored getting to know Jon and Gabby. I wanted to hug Jon because he tried to be so strong and carry so much pain on his shoulders. I was thrilled with Gabby because she truly never gave up, even when she felt she should. The love was there but so much poison had to be excised first for it to grow and reach its full potential. I was moved by this tale and I thank Ms. Mayberry for a truly remarkable reading experience. Readers who look for a book that talks to the heart and the pure romantic inside can’t go wrong by reading One Good Reason. Just make sure a tissue box is handy nearby.

Alfonso Serrano is a hunted man. For months he’s managed to elude the Darkbloods, vengeful foes who won’t rest until he’s dead. But he still craves one dangerous temptation: Lily DeGraff, the sexy Guardian agent he’ll risk anything to protect.

Lily is a wanted woman. Her talent for tracking Sweet—a rare blood type that’s addictive to vampires—makes her a prime target for enemy capture. Her only hope is the stealthy vampire operative who stole into her bed…then left her in despair. Danger aside, Lily won’t let Alfonso near her heart again—until an irresistible hunger threatens to draw them back together… and into an assassin’s snare.

This isn’t your mother’s vampire story.

First off: good news to folks who pick this story up without reading the first book in the series (like me!) – it’s good as a stand alone book. I had absolutely no problems following relationships between the characters or missing any back plot. Good news for those who have read the first book – this book leaves you wanting to continue the saga. There isn’t a “cliff-hanging” ending, so it the reader gets their “happy for now”, but the characters are complex and likeable and the prospect of reading the third book in the series is a pleasurable one.

I found it disconcerting, then refreshing, then intriguing the way Ms. London treats the “vampire heritage”, the most notable difference being the presence of “born vampires”. This is the first time I have come across a novel (romance or otherwise) that has the possibility of a child being born into a vampire family. It is also the first time I have read of vampire marriages. While changing of a mortal to vampire is still practiced in this story, the majority of this story’s characters are “born” to vampire families and experience the vampire “change”.

The complex social structure and different sects of vampires gives this story a very modern twist. In many ways, the social and governing structure described in this story resembles current American society. Some people are using generic levitra online the impotence medications wrongly that is for branded. In order to have correct treatment with the use of Sildenafil citrate tablets can be dangerous while receiving other generika cialis drugs for the treatment of angina and those who have already had an allergic reaction to the Sildenafil Citrate. This is also quite clear in the dealings of sweetbloods or “sweet” as it is commonly referred to. Within the context of this story, this blood type has an addictive quality to vampires and causes behavior much the same as heroin or cocaine use might be expected to cause in a human. Therein lies the basic premise of good versus evil . . . using sweet to coerce vampires to commit acts they would not normally engage in.

However, we don’t pick up a romance novel to draw parallels between contemporary society and the fictional situations described. We also don’t find the romance enticing because of the morality of the plot. We read it for the sizzle. And sizzle this book has in abundance!

Due to the vampire characterization, most of the interactions have a touch of violence to them – the ultimate act of vampire intimacy is sharing their blood. So – in addition to the carnal acts that we are familiar with, there is the description of blood lust and fang-bearing and some blood drinking.

Having said that: I am not a fan of violent or “gory” stories, yet truly did not have a problem with any of the intimate scenes, including the ones that involved blood sharing.

There is a sexual undercurrent throughout the book, given the sensual nature of the vampire society. During their attempt to find a missing tracker, Lil and Alfonso visit a sex club and arrange to use a viewing room. Using the room will allow them to look for their colleague, but also requires them to have sex in front of an entire club of vampires and humans. While the outcome of that encounter is unexpected, it is certainly an interesting read!

Lil and Alfonso have a common novelized romance – complete with misunderstanding that drives them apart for many years and creates an atmosphere of longing and distrust. It also creates some amazing moments when they give in to their cravings. Please make sure you enjoy the hospital scene!

The plot twists and turns kept me turning the pages and the sizzle made the page turning worthwhile! Grab your copy today!

A soldier’s second chance…

As nervous as a teenager about to go on her first date, Jessica Mitchell waits for Special Forces Ranger Ryan McAdams—her best friend for the past year—whom she’s never met! They’ve been pen pals while Ryan was away fighting for their country and Jessica was secretly fighting her own demons back home.

She knows widower Ryan’s fears of returning to civilian life and his hopes of reconnecting with his son. Now she can’t wait to meet him face-to-face—to hear his voice and see his smile…

Can there be ‘love before first sight?’ Jessica Mitchell has spent a year exchanging letters with US Army ranger Ryan McAdams. Their first meeting – predictably – gives her a lot of anxiety. There aren’t just doubts about him – but she is full of self-doubt, as well as concealing a secret.

The wonderful thing is, each of them, through their letters, gave the other something to look forward to. The letters are cleverly shared, revealing so much more than they manage to stammer out in person. Ryan has seen the horror of battle and warn. He’s known personal tragedy, as well as a personal failure. He’s far from being the man his son needs to be.

At times, Jessica seems both bossy and silly. Ok, so she’s likely right, especially about his son. And, possibly, he needs someone to point him in a better direction. However, is seems overly familiar considering they just met. However, not many cheap viagra soft people are aware that menopause will also be a lower inside blood circulation consequently erection will cease to carry on. As readers, it’s easy to feel a bit impatient with Jessie, especially at the start. Then again, we don’t know her secret…so her occasional awkwardness gets a less than sympathetic response from us. As it does from Ryan.

She has to worry if things between them would change, if he knew. Occasionally, her worry, her dragging interior monologue, is repetitive and fails to move the story along. It fails to reveal anything new about her – and its easy to feel impatient, as we simply want her to tell Ryan and know his response. In one sense, this worry is predictable, but in the series of emotions experienced, it really is not.

Truth and honesty challenge both of the main characters; challenge their feelings and trust – really in both ways. They are not ‘untruthful’ people, but each is used to struggling with their own battles, and not revealing their greatest challenges to another.

The Army Ranger’s Return is very sensitively and believably written. Lane creates powerful but very human characters, with admirable qualities, but also with qualities they each struggle with. There is an undertone of melancholy at times, but it makes the contrast with the joy of love so much more poignant. Do read.

No one gets past Prince Amjad Aal Shalaan’s defenses. No one. But when Princess Maram shows up at Amjad’s gala in her father’s place, destroying Amjad’s plans to reclaim what was stolen from his family, Amjad sees red…and uses a freak sandstorm to make her his prisoner of passion.

Swept to safety by the man she’s always loved from afar, Maram knows she has one chance to make Amjad see her as a woman. His woman. But when the impossible prince and the unstoppable princess take shelter from the storm, neither is prepared for the aftermath of their desire…

I chose this book because I enjoy the Silhouette Desire series, and stories of Sheikhs. To Touch A Sheikh has it all. In this, the final book in Ms Gate’s Pride of Zohayd trilogy, the author’s writing is fluent, her settings pull you in and her characters have depth and strength, though they aren’t altogether as memorable as usual.

Ms Gates’ opening is a cracker. The attempted murder of her hero, Prince Amjad Aal Shalaan, results in shattered trust, retribution, and consequences that linger for several years.

Amjad may be a wounded hero who’s sworn off women but when Princess Maram foils his plans for her father, Amjad swiftly adjusts his plans. This medicine is also regarded as generic viagra australia , as it contains similar ingredient sildenafil citrate. While I found it difficult to empathise with the hero’s actions towards the heroine to begin with, Ms. Gate’s creates a believable set of sequences that drew me in and kept me reading.

This story differs from the usual Sheiks in as much this one is of a Prince having to deal with a Princess, a woman from his own kind of background. And one who’s loved Amjad for as long as she can remember. But will her love survive her Prince’s latest act of retribution?

It is because I ‘knew’ Maram had secretly loved Amjad for the whole of her life that I understood why she put her trust in him so easily, even if at times she exasperated me with her level of acceptance. Since the whole theme of the book is about trust, past, present and future, it comes as no surprise that Maram has some major choices to make when her trust is severely tested.

Ms. Gates uses her secondary characters (some that you don’t even meet in this book)to spin multi-layered webs of deceit and treachery through the story.

To Touch a Sheikh is a pleasurable read with palace intrigues that ultimately force the hero and heroine to work together to uncover the mastermind behind the plots.
