Meet the Blackthorn Brothers—three unrepentant scoundrels infamous for being mad, bad and perilous to love.

Handsome as the devil and twice as tempting, Robin “Puck” Blackthorn lives for the pleasures of the moment. His only rule—never dally with an innocent woman. But when an encounter at a masquerade ball leaves him coveting the one woman who refuses to succumb to his charms, Puck realizes that some rules were made to be broken….

Scandalized to discover that the masked man with whom she’d shared a dance—and a forbidden embrace—is in fact the ton’s most celebrated rake, Regina Hackett vows to keep her distance. Yet when her cousin vanishes, it is to Puck that Regina must turn. And as they embark on a dangerous journey through London’s darkest alleys, Regina will discover that beneath Puck’s roguish facade lies a man who will stop at nothing to protect her—or to convince her to take a chance on an unrepentant sinner.

Regina Hackett and Robin Goodfellow Blackthorn (Puck) meet at a taboo mask ball and become embroiled in a search for missing girls, one of whom is Regina’s cousin Miranda, whose blood is all noble—not diluted like Regina’s that is polluted with blood of her rich but crude tradesman father.

Regina knows she is a commodity to her father who plans for her to marry a nobleman and have sons so Reginald Hackett can say his grandsons are lords of the realm. Of course, Regina’s lady mother, who drinks excessively, despairs of her daughter’s shortcomings and blames them all on Mother Hackett and the Hackett genes. When Regina makes a miscue, she says it is Mother Hackett’s fault (rather like “the devil made me do it”). However, she is reared with luxuries, fine clothes, and sent out into Society with the adventurous Miranda for the Season. Miranda’s risqué plan gets her into a heap of trouble and Regina into a relationship that is not at all what her father had planned—but, oh, what, an experience for Regina!.

Puck is one of the bastard sons of Marquess Blackthorn. His personality fits his nickname for he is mischievous, lovable, happy, charming and makes people feel good about themselves. He keeps his intelligence under wraps most of the time and is not allergic to using his influence and money to get what he wants. He loves a challenge and Regina does become a challenge. Conflicts, clandestine plans, mystery, and suspense pile up and get entangled as Regina and Puck delve into the sordid business of human trafficking. Some of the forays have a touch of human but pulse-pounding close calls and vicious traffickers that have no respect for human lives make A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S SIN compelling.

Kasey Michaels captivates with delightful dialogue and amazing humor that ranges from sublime to ridiculous as she reveals Puck’s joy for life and the awakening of Regina to womanhood. She makes the characters vibrantly alive and unique. Even the secondary characters have distinctive personalities. Regina’s mother becomes a different person when she is free of her oppressive husband and even stops drinking. Puck’s brother, Black Jack and his men grab the reader’s attention as they become involved. They add new, intense twists and turns to the plot as the reader gets pulled into the rough London dock district and into old roman caves. Of course, Regina’s father brings an even more disturbing element to the happenings.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S SIN deals with the horrific issue of human trafficking but it also lets the reader in on a sparkling, sizzling love story that overrides all else. Good Reading!

Princess Breena had been dreaming of her warrior lover when she was ripped from her Elden castle and thrown into a strange, dangerous realm. Lost and alone, she prayed for survival and vengeance for her stolen kingdom. She found both in a woodland cottage…in a dark bear of a man.

The golden-haired beauty had eaten his food and slept in his bed when Osborn found her. Though he wanted to awaken his virgin princess to carnal pleasures, Breena wanted more—including his warrior skills. Skills the once-legendary mercenary had long buried. Now Osborn had a choice—risk his life or deny his princess her fairy-tale ending.

I like this tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears much better than the original. There is a lot of fun in finding out what really happens after the girl is discovered sleeping in the bed than I could have imagined. Once again, Ms. Monroe entertains and thrills readers with her wit, clever writing and yummy heroes.

In this case, Goldilocks is Breena, the only princess of Elden. My favorite thing about her character is her growth. In the beginning she’s a dutiful daughter but the author gave hints that there’s more of an adventurous spirit trapped inside her. Good thing too because by a desperate act of magic, Breena was tossed to safety, away from all the horror and death. She might have been physically safe but the heroine discovered that her emotions and feelings were far from secure because she ended up meeting Osborn. Through him, and with him, she discovered more about the woman she really is and who she wants to be.

Osborn is a fascinating man. He’s a guy who needs saving and redemption. He’s done what he’s had to do in order to survive and protect the family he has left. He’s taken the role so seriously, that he’s buried deep all his own dreams and hopes and desires. He figures at this point, he’s not worthy of them and isn’t entitled to anything but vengeance. It made me want him to have his happily ever after. Ms. Monroe wrote with such feeling that his pain and yearning jumped off of the page. I cared for what happens to him. Osborn is a man who is due some happiness in his life. levitra 40 mg http://seanamic.com/our-strategy/ The regular Vagifem medication dosage for the beginners is just 1tablet of 100mg. Even a reason to laugh out loud.

Watching Osborn and Breena fall in love was fun. So many challenges thwarted them and so many secrets needed to be revealed before they could realize their true destiny. And the author was quite clever. Just when I thought all would be well, Ms. Monroe surprised me with a clever twist that infused the story with a dramatic burst of action and heroics. A few loose ends get solved and a new destiny is forged. It was exciting storytelling.

Another fascinating aspect of this book is the sensual build-up. The author has Osborn and Breena each taking turns at seducing the other, and each scene grows hotter and hotter until I thought I’d burst if they didn’t finally experience the ultimate loving fireworks. Ms. Monroe did not disappoint. It was romantic, sexy and the part with the pelt left me fanning myself. I like Breena’s sense of physical adventure.

Lord of Rage is the second installment to the Royal House of Shadowsi series and it rocks. It also is a perfect standalone. There is no reason for a first time reader to wonder if they’ll get lost in the story arc. The tale is totally about Osborn and Breena and how they come together, fall in love, and when joined, become stronger than they thought possible. I was thoroughly entertained and Breena’s unique dilemma kept me glued to the pages. I didn’t stop reading until I’d turned the last page. The happily ever after was romantic and it fit with the characters’ needs. It also whetted my appetite for the next installment in the series.

Lord of Rage is sexy, delightful and has a great emotional punch that’s a knock-out. Fans of Ms. Monroe are in for another treat and readers of paranormal romances will find what they’re looking for – fun, chills, thrills and a growly good romance.

While Liam tries to understand and except Carly’s decisions, their new found relationship takes a hard hit and is relegated to the back burner. Heartbreak, heartache, family, careers and total confusion are in store for these two lovers but will they ever find their happily ever after?

I do admit I had a difficult time with the beginning of this story. It moved slowly and the dialogue was not very engaging but it did pick up steam as it went along. Unfortunately by then my interest in the hero and his girl had waned. A sub-plot, though, was a well formulated surprise and completely engaged me so that by the end of the story I was a more entertained than I had thought I would be.

The characters are gutsy and stubborn and a perfect match for each other. Liam really is that great guy that is just afraid to take that first step, but wishes he does..watch out!! Carly is the indulged, intelligent girl that was everyone’s kid sister who unexpectedly grew up. But she did manage to catch the eye and the heart of the one great guy. Sit down and enjoy a few hours with a great guy and his girl!

Notorious gambler Jack no longer gets a buzz from the risks, or the money, he takes at the card table. In fact, it bores him. Until one night he wins more than he ever bargained for.…

His prize is the stunning Cara Taylor—she might be down on her luck but she certainly doesn’t need rescuing by a maverick card-shark like Jack! Now she’s stuck with him and she doesn’t know whether to love him or loathe him. But, cut from the same pack, playing Jack at his own game is the most fun she’s ever had!

This tale was a lot of fun because it tells of another Wolfe brother who finds his happily ever after and in the most unusual of places! I enjoyed the novelty of it and the fact that another tragic soul gets redeemed in a manner so subtle, he falls without realizing it.

Jack is bored. See Jack perk up. Watch Jack think he’s getting his cake and eating it too. Enjoy the cake, in this case, Cara, the heroine, as it bites back. Marvel at how much Jack is clueless as to what it means to dream about a person when they aren’t with him. Poor Jack. He’s about to get a reality check and a mirror thrust into his face – and he doesn’t like what he sees. But what to do?

I enjoyed how the author set things up for the hero. I clearly understood that he’s burnt out emotionally, and that Jack, although successful in material things, was numb. What I didn’t realize until mid way through the story was that Jack was in hiding. He had such deep pain that he’s avoided anything and anyone that might prod the wound. Unfortunately, he was doing well in that regard. That is until he walked in and saw Cara and his inherent white knight syndrome rushed to the fore. The action and character byplay picked up from there and never stopped and certainly kept me on the edge not knowing how it was going to play out.

Cara, is a croupier. I had no idea what that was but the author filled me in as she told the tale. I didn’t stay perplexed for long, for which I was grateful and I liked the natural way the fine points of her job were revealed. Longer sex doesn t calculate improved sex There are various aspects that can contribute to Premature Ejaculation and some medical pamerstoneinc.com purchase cheap levitra treatments may be effective. levitra prescription on line This stimulating oil for massage is an important part and method in traditional Chinese medicine treatment is more significant; after all, traditional Chinese medicine is natural and will not produce drug resistance and kidney damage. Certainly, the pace of life stress, work stress, coupled with poor routines and eating habits is likely to have a negative effect on the ability for attaining and sustaining a stiffer penile erection after being sexually aroused. prescription cialis I also thought the whole set up was cool. I’ve only watched things like that on television when they have poker playoffs. I was fascinated to see it used as a backdrop for the start of a romance.

The heroine is one classy lady, despite what those snobs said. She’s industrious, hard working and loyal to a fault. Plus she has heart full of love to give and the person who needs it the most won’t take it. My heart ached for Cara because she’s struggled so much and tried so hard and one oil-skinned boss took it away because he forced her into a situation that had her making a life altering choice – money or family honor? I appreciated that the heroine recognized the slippery slope she was on and her decision is one I could respect. It was really exciting there for a bit – very dramatic and heart pumping.

The rest of the book was heart thumping in a different way — when Cara and Jack realized how physically compatible they were. I was treated to some very well written and passionate encounters that ramped up the romance to a tender yet hot level.

There weren’t too many secondary characters and only a passing nod to the rest of the Wolfe family. The book is without a doubt a sturdy standalone story. The facts of Jack’s history, the painful reunion of sorts and his finally getting the chutzpah to face his worst fears made him a hero in my estimation. I enjoyed how he acted so loving and wished I could be the recipient of one so generous. But he’s also high maintenance so it’s a good thing Cara was up to the task of redeeming him.

The Man With the Money is easy reading with a heartwarming story and delightful characters that reach the romantic inside. The book left me feeling very happy and satisfied and I giggled at Jack’s last line in the book. In fact, the courtship is sexy, sensual and at times remarkably sweet. And other times, wickedly naughty. It’s a well told tale with perfect editing with characters I really enjoyed getting to know. Pick up your own copy and have some fun.

Sheikh Prince Ibrahim refuses to bow to the duty that has destroyed his family, by locking away his emotions and shunning his royal responsibility.

Georgie is just the kind of woman duty demands he should avoid—streetwise, troubled and not interested in being queen—exactly the challenge Ibrahim seeks.

Trapped among the swirling sands, in the burning heart of the desert, Georgie finally surrenders to the brooding rebel prince—yet the law of his land decrees that she can never really be his…

If a reader is looking for a solid character driven romance filled with exotic locales and bittersweet emotions that tug the heart, then Heart of the Desert can deliver that and more.

What a complicated romance Ms. Marinelli wove. Not only is there miscommunication but cultural hurdles need to be navigated, old emotional hurts need to be addressed and the past needs to be hauled out into the light in order for the truth to be revealed. The truth basically is about being so stuck in tradition and believed perceptions from others that characters can’t see any other way to be, to act or to live. It took the weakest member to show what it means to be strong – in heart, in forgiveness and in love.

Georgie is a woman growing. The author lets a reader know how far she’s come and in this tale, I was able to see the finishing touches, the final life experiences that hone the woman she’s always wanted to be and ends up becoming. It’s quite the emotional ride. I liked her spunk and her love of family. I liked watching how she learned to love herself as she was and how she refused to settle for second best. Because she demanded more for herself, she ended up bringing out the best and worst in the hero.

Ibrahim is a fighter. Sometimes I got the idea that even he didn’t know exactly what he was fighting for because he had so many demons tormenting him. At times I sensed his frustration, his yearning and his aggressive need to argue his point of view. He was bound by so many restrictions and demands, both culturally and personally. He too loved his family but it brought pain and sorrow, not joy. It wasn’t until Georgie came into his life that he had an inkling of what was missing, but even that was tainted from the demands of tradition. It was very frustrating for the hero and me alike. How in the world could he reconcile the impossible? How can he want to embrace tradition when it would cost him the very thing that would make it all worthwhile? It was a wonderful conflict and very poignant and I enjoyed how the author handled it.

Another aspect I liked in this book was the sensual build-up, the tension between two people who acknowledged the power of attraction but knew that they should not succumb to it. I enjoyed the hint that the power of the desert wasn’t just words but something more tangible and effective; something that worked with the heart and bypassed the brain. On the other amerikabulteni.com purchase generic viagra hand, there are inherent dangers in certain prescribed medications, as they can cause serious side effects or other health associated conditions. The problem is also cialis from india tadalafil fearsome because 20 percent of all diabetic men, become impotent after the age of 50. Georgie and Ibrahim were seduced by fate and ensnared by what was truly in their hearts but as yet unrecognized. It was like the desert chose what was best for its children because at times they were their own worst enemies. The author used nature to good effect.

I liked the dialogue-mostly. When Georgie’s sister acted so emotionally out of whack, I wanted to jump to Georgie’s defense. How dare she say what she did! Then again, it was another great example of people wearing blinders…only seeing the person from the past, not the person they became. It reminded me of parents and their kids – to them they’ll always be kids who need their guidance, even when they have kids and jobs and lives of their own. It’s like they never grow up in their eyes and their roles remain stagnant. Sometimes something has to happen to make them see, really see, who they are. I think that happens in this book between the sisters and even between Ibrahim and his dad.

Karim didn’t come across as being a supportive secondary character unless I attribute his constant intrusion as a means of stirring the plot. In that I guess he was successful, but I didn’t like his attitude. In fact both he and Felicity acted more as obstacles than loving family. I didn’t like them.

What I did like was the declaration of love. Now that was romantic! That was great drama, with the kind of ultimate grand gesture that would make a woman swoon and melt into a puddle of goo. That whole interaction between Ibrahim and his dad was powerful and well done. The outcome was a terrific happily ever after that made the whole journey worth it.

Heart of the Desert is complete entertainment. I really enjoyed it and was so happy with how Ibrahim and Georgie arrived at their happy ever after. It wasn’t easy because it was full of strong and heartfelt emotions that got bruised and battered along the way. What came out of the ashes was a relationship that will stand the test of time and the blast of desert winds. It was a fun read.

With her family business in crisis, Polly Prince does her best to keep calm and carry on. But hard work alone can’t save her London company from a takeover by the infamously ruthless Damon Doukakis…or her traitorous body from the lethal sensuality of her boss!

As his new apprentice, Polly accompanies Damon to Paris to negotiate the most challenging business deal of her life! Worse still, Polly must at all costs resist Damon in the most dangerously romantic city in the world.…

Once again Ms. Morgan has created a tale where nothing is as it seems, taking readers on a journey of discovery as two people find love with whom they definitely didn’t want to, and would deny if asked. What made it interesting is that both the heroine and hero fight against the roles they’ve been forced into, and in doing so, reveal to themselves and readers that there’s nothing wrong with saying I’m sorry.

Polly is a powerhouse of a woman. Her drive is compensation. She’s trying to make up for her father, which is like beating your head against a brick wall. Later on it’s revealed that she is protective and loyal to a fault. She doesn’t advertise the things she’s quietly and stoically done in the past and she has no intention of ever doing so, but Damon is a thorn in her side he wrangles the truth out of her … eventually.

Damon is a man burdened. He’s carried so much responsibility from a young age, he can’t let go. His drive to control, manipulate and mandate has only ever been done with the best of intentions. For some reason, this time with Polly, he’s following his passion and making mistakes. Or is he? I prefer to think his heart was making him do things without consulting his brain. I enjoyed watching a confused Damon slowly fall into love with the career focused Polly.

Secondary characters are minor but nonetheless powerful. Polly’s father and Damon’s sister are spoken about a lot but readers only “meet” them for brief scenes. When they did interact with the protagonists, I was treated to an “Aha!” moment. It left me feeling sad for all concerned because all any of them really wanted was to be happy. Readers are going to enjoy the part when Polly’s secrets are revealed. The dialogue that stems from Damon’s reaction was thoroughly entertaining. And I loved how Ms. Morgan had Damon slowing warming up. The effect is most pronounced in the workplace. I really enjoyed that affect. It had me grinning from ear to ear. I just loved Polly.

When Damon revealed his inner pain to Polly, I melted and wanted to hug him. What a horrible horrid thing he had to deal with! Which of course meant it made him a perfect tortured hero that I wanted to save. Good thing Polly was up to the task.

The conflict is character driven and effective. How Polly and Damon came to understand each other was a wonderful journey I enjoyed.

Doukakis’s Apprentice is exactly the kind of wonderful story that romance readers search for. It has humor, heart and well developed characters that touch a reader’s emotions. It entertains, is wonderfully paced and has vibrant and lively dialogue. Ms. Morgan delivered a happily ever after that has left me smiling long after I’ve turned the final page. What more can a reader wish?

Still, the explanations as to why she does makes sense and being in her shoes, I can’t say I wouldn’t have done differently.

Cadde. The guy is a conundrum clad in sexy business clothes and boots. As soon as he stepped on the page, I knew he cared so deeply for Jessie. I totally understood his confusion and divided loyalties–love the girl or the job. While it’s been done, Ms. Warren made it work in this book. I wanted to see him succeed and become the man I knew he could be. I wasn’t let down. In fact, reading from Cadde’s point of view was fantastic and had some very hot moments.

If you want a book that will stay with you long after the last page and is chock full of characters you’ll root for from the get-go, then you need to read The Texan’s Bride. It’s a fun, sweet, and spicy read.

Casey Wilkes didn’t realize her simple human-interest story would put her life at risk—again. After fleeing her home and journalism job in Portland, she wanted to live under the radar for a while. But when her interviewee starts dodging her questions, her reporter instincts kick in and she finds herself in over her head….

Homeland security agent Jesse Mitchell has been undercover as an ice sculptor for months, trying to infiltrate a smuggling ring. He wants to avoid trouble, and that’s just what Casey brings. Now someone has a target set on Casey. Saving her could blow his cover, but leaving her unprotected endangers him even more—especially his heart.

Casey is a journalist who is hiding in California after exposing a man’s activities and background and ruining his life. He has threatened to killer her, so she’s under an assumed name and staying at a relative’s beach home. But is she safe?

Ms. Goddard has created a fast tale with two major points of danger that will keep you on your toes as you follow the story line. Her protagonists are intelligent, they believe in doing the right thing despite the risks, and are attracted to each other. The author writes a good action tale about contemporary subjects that you read about in the paper almost daily; this is a realistic tale.

Jessie is an undercover ICE agent but Casey wants to interview him as a public interest story: he makes ice sculptures. What can help with impotence or erectile dysfunction? Escaping a hellish Syrian prison, U.S. serviceman Ray Stavrakis emerged with uncanny mind-control powers and an eerie ability to morph into a mythical Minotaur. As a half man, half bull, Ray had legendary power, but only one woman could prove his innocence. The woman who’d driven him to the brink of insanity with her cool-eyed interrogation and her hot-blooded sensuality.

But Vegas psychologist Layla Bahset had no memory of Ray or her past. Only a feeling of being stalked by a nonhuman predator. Was it Ray…whose eyes condemned her soul even as his hands ignited her body? Or was another evil force at work? But nothing could stop Layla from remembering what she was…and what her evil creator had planned for her and her soldier lover….

Who would ever have believed that the path of vengeance would lead to the discovery of love? A man born and recreated and a woman created yet reborn join together to find that which others denied them. Dark Sins and Desert Sands ends up being a powerful and completely entertaining tale that kept this reader on the edge of her seat.

I was fascinated with the heroine that Ms. Draven created. It seems she explored the possible question of, “what kind of person would I be if I didn’t have all the baggage from my past?” Layla, the heroine, didn’t purposely pursue the answers to that question. How and why she did is intimately mixed up with the villain of the book.

Layla is a nice person. Too nice. By that I mean she is bland – not forceful or colorful. She’s numb to life and yet she knows there’s something out of reach, something missing and it’s driving her nuts that she can’t figure it out. She does the best that she can because she has a good heart. And after reading the book, it totally makes sense. Inside, the heroine really is a decent and giving person who longs for the dream of love, home and kids. A reader is in for a surprise when they find out what Layla is actually capable of. She ends up being a very sympathetic character and I cheered her on as she tried to thwart the destiny mapped out for her. When the heroine starts putting the pieces together, mixed with the person she was at the beginning of the book, get ready for a treat. She’s a tough cookie and will fight for what is important, no matter what. The person who inspired that keen sense of loyalty is the yummy hero, Ray.

Ray is an awesome character. He’s a military guy with a great record – to a point. His sense of duty, honor and integrity would normally be great qualities and they are. But they can and were used against him. He experienced horrible terrible things. Ms. Draven described a scene that would make anyone puke, not just the hero. Despite the things done to him and his need for revenge, it didn’t block him from the basic good nature inside himself. He wasn’t blinded by rage all the time and when he wasn’t, clarity exposed some intriguing possibilities that blew his mind. And, it set him on a path totally different from his original goal, much to my delight.

The culprit and villain that created the chaos and horror that dogged the steps of Layla and Ray throughout the book is, Seth. The author was creative and amazing in what she did with him. I felt I should hate his character: certainly I was given enough ammunition to do so. But I couldn’t. In reality, he was as dysfunctional with relationships as a guy could be. He was so set in his ways; he had become arrogant, lofty and totally clueless when it came to a real woman. The bad guy also had some weird phobias and twisted views of women in general. He’s so complicated! Because of the author’s brilliant writing, I ended up giggling with diabolical glee when Isabel matched wits with Seth. That’s all I’m going to say about that – wouldn’t want to ruin the fun for readers.

Secondary characters contribute mightily to the plot movement in the book. I enjoyed how the author led me to a false sense of ambiguity about their presence in the story. They were more than they appeared and readers are going to be pleasantly surprised at the roles they play.

The happy ever after brought tears to my eyes. Truly. It was emotionally powerful, poignant and sweet.

Ms. Draven created a wonderful heartfelt final chapter that wowed me and made everything that came before more meaningful and special. It highlighted the fact that all the tragedies in the past paid the dues for the hope and optimism that now embrace Layla and Ray. Totally romantic.

Dark Sins and Desert Sands is a light in the darkness. Ms. Draven delivers a suspenseful emotionally packed romance layered with passion, heat and the power of true love. The story reaches into the depths of its characters and brings them to life, taking readers along for the ride. There’s drama, more twists than a pretzel and plenty of thrills and chills to satisfy readers of romantic suspense. The loving between Ray and Layla is potent and sensual, and their journey of love, though bumpy, is beautiful.
