Another story in the book was Bound for Love by Gianna Simone. In this story we meet Nina two long years after Zane has left her. She is a strong woman but she is still hurting. The two are a wonderful couple who lost their way and find love again. These two seemed to have never lost their bond of trust and love making this a beautiful read. My Demon Lover by Indigo Skye was a beautiful story about a woman who moves into a new apartment and finds her new neighbor,Damian, very intriguing. After spending time alone with him she finds herself falling for him. How far will Caitlin go when she finds out the truth about Damian? Watching Caitlin suffer and want for Damian made this story a very emotional read. I enjoyed seeing the love that grew between Caitlin and Damian. Both are so full of emotion and depth that it made me feel just as strongly as they did. The love that these two find makes us see that love has no boundaries.

In the story Consorting by Justine Elyot we meet a queen looking for a king. Who will she choose out of the three suitors? Each of them has a specialty to share with her and from there she must make a choice. I liked seeing Queen Lucasta find and enjoy herself. While she does enjoy all three men she finds her true consort gives her more pleasure than she could ever imagine. Lucasta is a strong woman who learns that even if a woman is not in control she is still a strong woman. It was nice to see that even though she is controlled in the bedroom, Nicomal will stand by her outside of it. I liked seeing a couple knowing when and willing to let their control go.

The Innocent by Mindy MacKay is a story about a vampire and his human consort. Jason and Ashleigh are on a road trip to find a safe haven. During their trip they find out many things about each other as well as whom they perceived as the enemy. I enjoyed seeing the two figure things out and what their feelings were for each other. With a few twists and turns this story was an engaging read. The bond that the two have was very strong and they were willing to believe in their love and never give up on each other no matter what.

In the story Espiritu Sancti by J.S. Wayne we meet a young woman who is studying in Romania and falls in love with a local woman. The love that develops between Isabel and Lilliana was a sweet read. Each woman is strong on her own but together they make an invincible couple. Each woman is willing to give their all to the other. Isabel finds her true self and explores her feelings. I enjoyed seeing a relationship build between the two. We see right from the start the emotional bond that the two have and seeing the love that they have for each other made for a nice read.

I really enjoyed this book. Each story was a quick and interesting read that kept me entertained all the way to the end. It was nice reading one of my favorite authors and being able to find some new ones.

While you’re reading this story you know these two characters are perfect for one another and you find yourself cheering them on until they discover that too. I also liked the idea that both had a ‘gift’ that made them even more perfect as soul mates.

If you’re looking for something hot and fun to read and you’re a fan of either mysteries or paranormals, this is one I recommend to you.

I found this an interesting story because the characters had a history. As the title suggests, the rivalry once experienced by Jay and Patrick has never gone away and resurfaces as the story opens.

I enjoyed the way the author introduced us to these three characters. We are given background information without it being too much too soon which is commendable in this short of a read.

The dialogue sounded natural and the pacing spot on for this length of work. My favorite aspect was I assumed that the two guys would compete physically and emotionally for Elyssa which the author portrayed at first. However, there was a wonderful twist in the tale which I won’t give away and spoil for you. These are likable characters and this was a story that I enjoyed reading to the last page.

If you’re looking for a sexy, short menage story with a satisfying ending then this might be an ideal read for you too.

The story is perfectly mouthwatering as you watch these two characters playfully tease and taunt each other until they explode. Not to be overshadowed, the idea behind this short story is genius. The reader is so focused on the characters and their current situation that when the twist comes it is a playfully pleasant surprise. You get the feeling that you actually know Jack, Brody, and Taylor and have a personal stake as a friend or family member in how things turn out for the three in the end. There are a few well-laid twists within the story and the road to Happy Ever After does not come easy.

She thinks of herself as a married woman, though her husband fell in the fighting for control of an Iraqi village two years ago. Now, she thinks maybe the time is right to move on. That is, when she can think at all. It’s not easy when she’s around the alluring Bran Douglas. His tight abs and muscular thighs are more than enough to fuel her imagination of what he would be like in bed. She’s not sure how much longer fantasies will be enough to sustain her—or how long she can maintain her loyalty to Mark.

For years, Bran Douglas heard Mark Adamson brag about his beautiful wife. Having seen picture after picture, Bran would know Lisa anywhere. But he’s shocked to look up and find her enjoying a beer in the hotel lounge, just a few yards away. In the remote Iraqi desert, Bran had half fallen in love with the idea of Lisa, and for that reason, he’d kept his distance in the two years since Mark’s death. Now, seeing her in person, he knows those feelings were more real than he’d imagined. He knows from Mark’s stories how sweet she is but the photographs didn’t begin to show how hot she is. Sometimes finding love again isn’t possible with the same man and getting over the past can be toughest part. Lisa’s character is a great example of what many people with spouses in the war struggle with these days. She is your everyday working woman trying to find her way in this world without her husband. She believes she’s not missing anything by not having a new man in her life and she struggles with letting go of the past. Bran may not have been completely forthcoming to Lisa, but he is quite honorable in his intentions to the widow, which he makes clear to her from the beginning. With the focus of the story mostly on these two characters, it was easy to connect with both.

Although the story makes good use of the pages it contains, I couldn’t help but wish for more of both Lisa and Bran’s back story and a little more of the future. I recommend this story to readers looking for a quick read with a relatable heroine and hero you’ll want to hold on to.
