As a cocktail waitress at Fallsview Casino Resort, Jorja has been witness to some brow-raising moments. But she’s never been part of one until a hot-as hell patron in her section pulls her into his lap and kisses her senseless. Talk about a generous tipper. Lady luck has smiled on her indeed.

What was supposed to be a weekend of harmless gambling takes a dramatic turn when Kian’s wolf scents his would-be mate. Consuming her lips as if his life depends on it in the middle of a crowded casino is bad enough—but giving in to his mating urge and claiming her before she knows his true nature is nothing short of a disaster. And when a fellow pack member shows up and lets the wolf out of the bag, Kian is forced to admit not only who and what he is, but what he did. He may need more than luck to pull this one off.

Sometimes a reader has a yen for a cute, short but hot story to while away the afternoon and A Werewolf at the Falls delivers just that.

I like a story with growly heroes and Kian has both a lusty growl and an aggressive one for defense. He covers all the bases because he has to. He has found the mate of his dreams, but he’s got some explaining to do and the poor guy isn’t sure how to do it. That’s half the fun because he flubs it so bad.

Jorja is the heroine who has to come to terms with the fact that werewolves not only exist but one has his sights set on her. What’s a girl to do when the man in question gives her the best sheet action she’s ever had? Run. And, try to figure out just what is so great about being the girlfriend of a guy that goes furry. I liked her logical thinking and it actually made the happily ever after quite plausible. The conflict is internal and the story is character driven. It’s a story of worlds colliding and passions out of control. Ms. Chenery certainly gives readers an eyeful when Kian has his way with Jorja, and his manly action should leave readers as satisfied as he left Jorja, over and over. Lucky lady.

Kian’s buddy, Soren, is a nice sidekick. His focus on gambling was bit too intense for me; I would have gotten bored ages ago but the author used it as a convenient diversion so the action could stay focused on Kian and Jorja. The author did provide enough of a hint and details to lead me to believe that another guy is going to feel the wolf bite of love soon. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

The author threw in a quick character curve ball to get the action going in the direction she wanted it to. It was a bit pat, but it worked and the plot resolved soon after with an interesting display of a man making a goofy decision in times of crisis. Good thing the heroine has a working brain.

A Werewolf at the Falls is a relaxing and entertaining short story that has a passionate, sweet yet erotic flavor that should appeal to paranormal romance readers looking for a uplifting happily ever after. I enjoyed reading this tale and I’m looking forward to seeing just what kind of woman ensnares Kian’s best friend, Soren. I hope it’s as fun as this book.

Jaycee Manz stared out at the crowd gathered around her. Everyone who was important to her was there celebrating with her. Jaycee realized now that for the past few weeks she had been surrounded by her family, but could never see it, until this night. Now, all she had to do was to find home.
Remi LeBlathe sat back in his chair and watched his small mate, Jaycee. Her days of running were over, and for once her smile reached her eyes. No matter what it took, he promised right then and there he would continue to keep that smile on her face, even if he had to kill to do it.

Dane and Mark Glassgo stood together, always alert for anyone who would threaten their mate, Jaycee. Dane knew the threats weren’t over, but he still didn’t know who would come at them next. Mark had never seen Remi so relaxed. He smiled and knew under that mask was a man who took no crap from anyone, including Mark. Jaycee owned all their hearts, but Remi was the glue that kept all of them together. With the four of them together, no one would dare step in their way. At least, Remi hoped so. They all deserved to have a normal life, a home.

But can they achieve the loving home they all deserve, or will the forces of evil stand in their way yet again? In this third installment of Trinity Blacio’s best-selling series, these four lovers must find their way home…despite the odds.

Once again we find Jaycee and her mates fighting for their love. There is so much that they have gone through already and so much more they will have to go through to find their happiness. Evil seems to go out of its way to find Jaycee and it comes from many different and unexpected places in this book. With each book in this series I have grown fonder of Jaycee. She is a strong woman who goes through so much in every book and this one is no exception. This book brings more danger to Jaycee and she fights for not only herself but those that she cares about as well. Seeing Jaycee grow and learn about herself was a great read. The love she has for her mates is always in her thoughts and actions and the bond that they have is a wonderful thing. I enjoyed seeing Mark, Dane and especially Remi learn about love and what Jaycee feels for them. As they fight the new evil they find themselves becoming closer to each other and understanding the pain Jaycee feels. Watching their bond cement itself was a beautiful read. The three men are now ready to defend and finally stand by their mate and that is all Jaycee asks for. Seeing the men finally understand and give Jaycee what she wanted from the start: their understanding and trust made for a great read.

I was taken on an emotional roller coaster ride in this book. Not only do we get romance but action as well. The author does a wonderful job of combining the two and keeping the story fast paced and interesting. With the many twists and turns in this book I was glued to my seat and turning those pages to see what would happen next.

I would advise readers that this book contains some graphic sex and that some may want to be cautious before picking it up. This is also book three in a series and you need to read the first two to really understand and enjoy this book. Trinity Blacio is a very talented storyteller and I will be going in search of more books from her.

He rode into town to buy supplies, not a woman.

For hunted recluse Rafe McBride, the raven-haired beauty on the auction block is exactly what he doesn’t need. A dependent woman will be another clue his vengeful stepbrother can use to find and kill him. But Rafe’s conscience won’t let him leave another innocent’s virginity to the riff-raff bidding. He buys her, promising to return her to St. Louis untouched. He only prays the impending blizzard holds off before her sultry beauty breaks his willpower.

She wanted freedom, not a lover.

Whisked to the auction block by her devious, gambling cousin, and then sold into the arms of a gorgeous stranger, outspoken artist Maggie Monroe isn’t about to go meekly. Especially when the rugged mountain man looks like sin and danger rolled into one. But a blizzard and temptation thrust them together, and Maggie yearns to explore her smoldering passion for Rafe.

But when the snow clears, will the danger and secrets that surround Rafe and Maggie tear them apart?

Rafe McBride got more than he planned on when he went into town for supplies. When he saw the lovely woman being auctioned off in front of the saloon, he remembered another time, and another woman being mistreated, and he made sure she wouldn’t go to someone who would harm her. He planned on taking her to Fort Union as soon as the blizzard passed. He didn’t need any complications in his life.

Maggie Monroe came west from St. Louis with her cousin, planning to draw the scenery and sell the sketches after showing them at a gallery. She was tired of being controlled by men; first her father, then her cousin Michael. She never realized just how dangerous life would be traveling with Michael, until he lost all their money gambling, and decided to sell her. Maggie is delighted that Rafe isn’t interested, it means she will get home that much sooner. But what they say about best-laid plans proves true, and soon something like friendship and even affection begins to grow between them, as Mother Nature conspires to keep her from leaving.

But there is danger ahead for both of them; Michael is determined to see her dead, and Rafe has secrets that haunt him as well. Can Maggie come to terms with her growing affection for Rafe? Can she convince him he isn’t the evil man he believes himself to be? When evil comes calling, can they face it together and survive?

There are so many online cialis pills people round the corner who are simply okay by living with this issue and do not want to get over this traumatic sexual dysfunction. I will be honest and say that I rarely read historicals or westerns, but this story caught my attention from the beginning. The world Ms. Jakes has built is a rough one, with men who have survived the War Between the States and who just want to go on with life. It is gritty and shows a part of life in a time when things were simpler, and people were stronger and independent. The characters here are well defined and interesting, from Rafe and Maggie, to Old Tom at the general store, and others we meet along the way.

Maggie Monroe is smart, strong and determined to be independent of any man. Men have controlled her all of her life, and she wants nothing more than her freedom. I loved watching as she discovered that freedom didn’t need to mean she had to be alone. I enjoyed watching her learn to like, then respect, and finally love Rafe. I found her willingness to help others at the cost of her own safety a rare treat.

Rafe McBride is a man running from his past. He is strong, brave and loyal, and, although he did nothing wrong, he believes he is not a good person. He has secrets, and only by facing his past will he become the person that will be free to care for Maggie. I liked watching as he tried so hard to resist temptation and keep Maggie at arms length.

There are several threads weaving through this story, hints of danger and murder with more to come for both Maggie and Rafe. I enjoyed the pace of this story, and the way Ms. Jakes stretched out the anticipation for when these two would finally realize what they felt. There are two very real threats to Maggie and Rafe, when Michael comes searching for Maggie and when Rafe’s past catches up to them, and they have to fight for their lives. The friends of Rafe’s become Maggie’s friends, and I can honestly say I didn’t see the ending of this one coming.

If this book is any indication, Ms. Jakes has a lot of imagination and talent, and I look forward to more from her in the future.

Yasmin is haunted by a malevolent spirit. She can hear its voice, feel its presence—and it wants her dead. Her only hope is the protection of the Jackal Prince, the very man she saved from death so long ago.

Siraj Pramtash is overjoyed when Yasmin asks for his protection. He’s been searching for her for years, ever since she healed his mortal wound as a child. He never forgot her striking beauty—or her lavender eyes. Now that she is a woman, Yasmin takes his breath away.

The spirit pursuing her rocks his caravan, but the Jackal will not be moved. In a desperate bid to keep her under his god’s protection, he marries her. But fate has much more in store for them than a mere demon from Kaldaeron.

When the truth is faced head-on, the Jackal’s faith in his god is shaken, yet he is determined to save his princess—or die trying.

“Where once there were six, now only five princes remained in the Golden Desert.”

One of those princes was the Jackal Prince, Siraj Pramtash. I had my first glimpse of the Jackal Prince when he was a child in the first book The Viper Prince and fell in love with the kindhearted boy who cared about the people around him and hated his father’s cruel ways. With each book in the Desert Princes series, I learned a little more about the boy and saw him grow into a man. I also met Yasmin as a child when she saved his life after he was run through with a sword. In The Jackal Prince, Siraj is a grown man who comes face to face with the young woman who saved him from death, and who he believes is a gift from the Jackal god. As I watched the story unfold, I was eager to learn what evil was stalking Yasmin. Still young and innocent, she has never known a man’s touch, but she feels a connection to the Jackal Prince — a bond that started that long ago day when she healed him with her magic. It is as if they have known each other their entire lives.

It’s possible each book will stand alone, but I recommend starting at the beginning with book one where Ms. Goings has laid the groundwork for the world of Jikkar and the life, customs, and animals in this dry desert land. I think that if you do not start with book one you may miss out and not get the full enjoyment of the story line and the characters.

I have read many of Ms. Going’s books and have yet to find one that I did not like. She is a brilliant author with the ability to tell a vivid and detail story that will pull you in and make you feel like you are there through the whole tale. Yes, I felt the anxiety and the tension but I walked away in the end with a fabulous sensation and an attachment to the characters. The sex scenes are an added bonus and will heat the blood on these hot summer nights. I’m a fan.

But Grace has other plans. She’s refused to run beneath the Claiming Moon with York, and Jackson is the wolf she wants.

They share one night of passion, but must part ways. Jackson is in the middle of an undercover operation and Grace, an investigative reporter for an online paper, is intent on solving the mystery of the missing shifters.

When Jackson and Grace’s paths cross again, he’s the buyer and she’s the contraband.

Shifters are disappearing, and paranormal agent Jackson Graham is going undercover to find the reason why. But before starting the case, he makes a visit home, to see his family. He runs into Grace, the she-wolf he has been secretly in love with for years. He knows he can’t be with her, because she is destined to be mated to his cousin York. But Grace has her own plans for her future, and she isn’t about to run under the claiming moon with York, not when she only wants one man-Jackson-in her life.

After Jackson assumes his role as a wealthy man in search of a shifter to hunt, he is invited to an auction. Imagine his surprise when one of the kidnapped shifters he is offered is Grace, and he realizes things just got much more complicated. Now everything depends on making sure the woman he loves is safe, and the ring is stopped once and for all. Claiming Moon is a very enjoyable story, in a world where danger is just around the corner for the shifter population. Ms. McCall has built a world filled with well-defined and real characters, with hopes, dreams and fears, like everyone. It just happens to have more than just humans in it, and those who are more than human are being victimized because of that difference.

Jackson Graham is strong, smart and determined to solve the mystery behind the shifter disappearances. I like his sense of dedication and his family loyalty as well. He is willing to stay away from the woman he loves, because his cousin loves her. I loved watching as he had to rescue her from danger, not knowing how she really felt about him.

Grace is determined and smart, and ready to leave the safety of the pack to live her life her way. She doesn’t want to hurt anyone, but she simply can’t see herself spending the rest of her life with York, not when she loves Jackson. I love Grace for her strength and her sassy spirit, and her ability to not give in under pressure.

This is a fast paced story, with lots of action, both in and out of the bedroom. The secondary characters are supportive and there is a surprise or two to make it really interesting. I enjoyed this, and there is some scorching hot passion between Grace and Jackson that just burns up the pages. I recommend this one for those looking for a short one that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Book one in the Seasons of Love Serial

Seasons of Love follows forty years in the lives of two men, Sidney Wilks and Grady Nash, from the Spring of their relationship when love is new and shiny through to the Winter of their partnership when thirty years of being a couple has begun to lose its sheen.

On the day of his mother’s funeral, ten-year old Sidney Wilks is silently comforted by the presence of one man, ranch hand Grady Nash. Little did Sidney know that Nash would become the only stable figure in his life for the next forty years.

Years later, after an evening of typical college fun, Sidney is involved in a serious car wreck. It’s Nash who once again steps in to rescue Sidney and nurse him back to health.

While trying to get close enough to Sidney to help him heal, Nash’s feelings begin to change towards the twenty-one year old. For him, loving Sidney was nothing new, but when his body begins to desire the small man, Nash is forced to re-evaluate his protective instincts.

What kind of future could the two men possibly have? Nash’s life is centred on horses and cattle, while Sidney has dreams of escaping the small-town Kansas life to build skyscrapers. How can two men who want opposite lifestyles come to a compromise, or will Nash be forced to allow Sidney to spread his wings without him?

Springtime can be lovely but there’s sure to be some storm clouds. Sidney Wilks is a young man who is somewhat self-destructive. He lives under the shadow of an abusive father whose moods are unpredictable. He’s also in love with an older man, Grady Nash. Nash is older, wiser, and protective but he can’t fight his attraction to the charming younger Sidney. Both heroes are easy to relate to and well rounded. The immediate world of Wilks’ father’s ranch is brought to vivid life through Lynne’s descriptions. Some of the big brands of medical production also have stretched their hands in making this kind of viagra in uk http://cute-n-tiny.com/cute-animals/cat-in-a-rice-crispy-treat-costume/. All the secondary characters are well crafted. There’s a very deep emotional history between the heroes in this story.

The conflict centers on Nash being protective of Sidney and reluctant to take the risks that love demands. Sidney and Nash’s career desires do not match well. Nash wants the country life on the ranch and Sidney wants to go to the big city. Nash is settled into his life and knows what he wants, or at least thinks he knows what he wants. Sidney is a young person just getting his bearings. Lynne did a great job of creating emotional danger and risk for both men and it was never a sure thing that they would get their HEA. Lynne delivers a satisfying conclusion to their problems here.

The sex overall is hot, described in full graphic detail and there is a fair amount of it. Some of it is quite rough and raw so definitely not for the faint of heart.

A deep, richly detailed true romance between two different men who must find a way to make their lives mesh. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series, Summer.

Matthew McCallister knew coming out to his father, a very conservative minister, would be the end of life in his hometown. With his younger brother, Ruben, by his side, he flees their hometown only to be arrested for kidnapping and theft. But the sheriff of Cade Creek seems to believe in Matty’s innocence and suggests that he and Ruben hide out at the Blaecleah ranch.

Matty is in no way prepared for the Blaecleah family, especially Quaid Blaecleah. The man is gorgeous and kind, a combination Matty isn’t used to in men he’s attracted to. When Quaid proposes marriage as a way to save him from his father, Matty is terrified to agree because he’s been used in the past. He’s just as afraid to say no. Quaid intrigues Matty in a way he’s never experienced. When Matty’s father arrives in town and starts making threats, can Matty trust Quaid to keep him safe, or will he be burned again?

This is the third addition to the Blaecleah Brothers series and I have to say Ms. Glenn turned up the heat with this tale. All of the stories in this series have some sort of violence surrounding the main characters. I was hooked from page one. This is most definitely a roller coaster ride of emotions from beginning to end.

Matty McCallister has escaped the iron-fisted rule of his homophobic father. Being the gay son of the town’s well respected reverend is not acceptable. It was impressive that this young man stood up to his abusive father no matter the cost. He knows who he is and is ready for a fresh start somewhere new. Matty gets an added shock when his younger brother, Ruben, comes out to him about being gay. Being the loving and caring brother that he is, he takes his brother with him, not willing to leave him in the care of their abusive father.

Matty knew his father wouldn’t make leaving easy on him. Once his parents discover that Ruben has left with him, they file bogus police charges against him. Quaid Blaecleah grew up within a loving family. He and his five brothers being gay was never an issue with their parents or the majority of the town’s people. Quaid knows he and his family are an anomaly to Matty. But Quaid has never wanted someone as much as he wants Matty. No matter what hesitations Matty may have Quaid knows he can’t let the man get away.

With everything in life there’s always a calm before the storm and that is true within this story. Once everything seems to be falling into place for Matty his past comes back to haunt him in a big way.

There were several editing errors that were missed. A character was referred to by the wrong name close to the beginning of the story and caused me a little confusion at first. Then there were a lot of misused words or extra words added into sentences to the point that the sentence didn’t make since. All the errors did add up but didn’t detour me from enjoying the story.

The love story between Quaid and Matty happened so fast. I like how it was a whirlwind romance that started from the moment they met. Matty being a cautious man causes struggles between the pair but as a couple they work through it. There is some violence in this story but it’s not overly graphic. It helps tell the story of Matty and what he has gone through to where he ends up. There were some things that came to light involving other characters from the previous books that was very informative. I would recommend reading the first two stories in this series. It will help fill in some of the background story for the Blaecleah family.

Cowboy Way is a moving story of love, strength and determination. I absolute loved this story and highly recommend it to all readers.

After defeating the bears in Sanctuary, Kimberlyn, Logan, Andrew, and Elijah discover new passions and have a few peaceful months exploring their deep love and hot passions.

The peace ends when Kimberlyn stumbles upon a vampire who begs Logan for asylum, and Logan has no choice but to grant it. The vampire has a hidden agenda, and once he has Kimberlyn addicted to him, the wolves must keep him alive at any cost. If he dies, Kimberlyn dies.

With the vampires comes the wolves’ fifth — and a whole new set of problems when Kimberlyn refuses to share her men, can’t get enough of the vampire, and finds new desires with this unusual addition to the pack.

With so many bodies in the bed, how can a girl not get flustered? If I had to give this story a heat level, it would be “scorching” because you cannot help but fan yourself while reading this tasty treat.

One thing that did not change was Elijah who I thoroughly enjoyed in the previous story Sanctuary, and he did not disappoint in this one. His spitfire personality really keeps everyone on their toes, which with so many characters is not an easy feat. This fiery personality ensured his place as one of my favorite characters.

Two characters that did shock me were Andrew and Logan. They seemed like different characters. Logan is no longer the strong domineering alpha who seemed like a borderline bully. Instead, he became an understanding partner who loved and respected his partners. In the first story Andrew seemed to be as much as a leader as Logan, just not the same style. In this story he seemed too submissive and sometimes got lost amongst the stronger characters. These changes were not necessary bad changes, but they left me feeling a bit puzzled because the changes were so drastic.

Asylum also introduced two new main characters to the storyline: Malik and Kali. Malik is a strong character and purposefully vague. Out female viagra pills of these, you should take the medication in combination with androgen replacement therapy (TRT). From beginning to end, you do not know if he is one of the good people or the bad. I’m still not sure how I feel about him and will have to continue reading the series to really say if I like him. Kali, on the other hand, I quickly fell in love with. Elijah’s wit entertained me and Kali’s just added even more excitement to the mix. In addition, her unique abilities as a Methuskein added an extra paranormal element, which I appreciated.

The sequel to Sanctuary may have some of the same characters, but took on a life of its own. Not only were some of the characters a bit disconnected from the storyline from Sanctuary, but so was some of the overall feel of the story. I got the feeling I was missing a story in between the two because so much changed. It made me wants to go back and reread the first story, just to make sure I wasn’t forgetting things. It felt as if the author recognized the mistakes she originally made and corrected them in this story, but it left me a bit disconnected because of it.

The writing style of this story read very smoothly. With a story involving so many characters, I was worried I would get confused as a read. Instead, I was able to easy tell each character different personalities and keep up with the actions including in the bedroom. This is something I really commend the author on. She even incorporated small details like different nicknames from each of the main characters to make you understand which was speaking.

Still, the story was able to stand on its own and even added a little more than the first story, and for that, it was an enjoyable read.

James doesn’t know how he’ll survive a road trip with Jet Cartwright. The cowboy drifter has been his wet dream for years, and keeping his true feelings hidden takes a herculean effort.

Jet travels the rodeo circuit and handles horse trading for busy ranchers. Settling down never crossed his mind—until he meets James, a mix of innocence and raw sex appeal. Jet quickly learns that he’s willing to give up his ways for the young blond.

Will James be able to come clean with his feelings? Will Jet be able to show the younger man the many pleasures of the flesh, and will that be enough?

James is a young man with a secret, a secret he shouldn’t have to keep, but the fear of being shunned by his family has him keeping his lips tightly sealed. After seeing his father disown his brother for being gay, James doesn’t want to take the chance that his father will cast him aside for being in love with another man. This is a character who is torn between coming out of the closet or staying trapped in his own personal prison just to keep his family happy.

Jet Cartwright drifts between riding the rodeo circuit and helping rancher’s sell their purebred horses. Jet has always admired James from afar but Jet knows his limits when it comes to relationships and he isn’t the settling down type. Still every protective instinct comes out in him when he’s with James and has him thinking forever isn’t so bad.

I really liked the character of Jet; he doesn’t broadcast his sexual preference but he also doesn’t hide who he is. At times I found him to be frustrating, he is afraid of putting down roots and committing to one person for the rest of his life. But love outweighs any uncertainties he may have had; he just has to prove to his young and naïve cowboy that he’s in for the long haul.

This was a sweet loving story filled with plenty of misunderstandings between the two main characters. This author paired together a man still trying to figure out who he is with a man experience in life and in sex, so it’s a given these two men will butt heads often. The attraction is evident from the first touch they share. This is a couple that will keep me wondering what adventures they will share next long after the story ended. That’s the true proof of a good book.
