At first this story seemed to have lots of clichés: down on her luck poor girl meets billionaire, for instance. However, the author gave it some twists that I liked. She did a top notch job introducing us to Andy. We’re plunged into the story of where she’s working…in a gourmet food store. The description was great and I really felt like I was there with Andy. You learn that she is working two jobs and can sympathize with her when she’s tired and accidently falls asleep on the job. She’s caught red handed by the hero, Alex, who comes across as sexy and yes, you like him despite the fact that he fires poor Andy.

Trouble seemed to follow her everywhere. For example, his wallet, which contained his grandmother’s ring, falls into her purse and then Andy getting mugged. Alex is her knight in shining armor and I liked the idea of the ring and that his grandmother left it to him for the sole purpose of giving it to the woman of his dreams. I knew that person was Andy, but the ring being lost put me on edge and made me want to read more.

The two characters came across as real people who had at last found one another. Andy is a modern girl and very likeable so you’re glad she wins over this prince charming. The dialogue between these two was great. This is 131 pages but pacing is brisk so you can finish it in an hour or two. I also liked the secondary characters in this story and thought Alex’s friend definitely deserves a story all his own.

If you’re looking for a Cinderella type story with lots of sexy scenes, this will be a perfect read for you.

And that was fine by me because in this short story I was more interested in where they are now and what was in store for their future.

Kylie is a fun character to read. She’s responsible, mature and level headed about everything…except the men. But who can blame a girl for not wanting to choose between three men that are so different and yet so focused and in tune to a single woman. Thankfully, Brad, Hemi and Finn have a plan that will leave Kylie breathless and guaranteed to singe your e-reader.

Pierce has gotten used to Selena and her pesky ways, and he has decided that it is time he took a stand. He is strong, handsome and determined that Selena will be his, no matter what he has to do. I liked watching as he set things in motion to make everything turn out for the best for everyone. I also liked that he was willing to admit his feelings and desires in front of everyone, even before Selena admitted anything.

Prince Elvus and his mate Ferrus are both very strong characters, but are both willing to sacrifice their love to get what they see as their rightful land. I enjoyed seeing Selena prove to them that they could have what they desired without having to give each other up or marry for anything other than love.

The political wrangling between the Queen and the Elven King was easily handled, and the eventual solution was perfect for all concerned. There is one very public claiming ceremony between Selena and Pierce, and between Elvus and Ferrus, and that scene heats up the story to a new level of hot. This is a terrific short story for a warm summer evening.

I liked that she understood and was able to rein in her streak of defiance for a while.

As always, Mikayla’s men are up to the challenge, and they also have help, as all three of Tracey’s men are there as well. I liked catching up with everyone, from Tracey’s pregnancy news, to the surprise news from their old nemesis Jessie, Peter’s former fiancée. There are more than a few surprises here, and one very dangerous scene that threatens everyone’s happiness, but Ms Blake was very ingenious in how she tied this up.

I enjoyed catching up with everyone, and enjoyed the creativity Mikayla’s husbands used to make sure that no one knew just who the father of the children would be. In my opinion, this is the hottest of the six books, and it provides a satisfying finale to the adventures of Mikayla and her eight husbands. I recommend this series to anyone who likes hot action, mixed with romance and a touch of danger. But be sure you read them in order, as they are not stand-alone stories.

Ms. Arend does a beautiful job of building the relationship outside the bedroom where the readers feels the chemistry that is honest and not just based on sex.

It isn’t necessary to have read book 1 in this series to enjoy Paradise Found but it does provide a nice setup for the other stories, so I recommend beginning with Exotic Indulgence and then find your way to Paradise and beyond. These are quick reads but you won’t feel shorted on story or satisfaction.

With the help of Talen they must gather their magic and ready themselves for a fight that seems to be on its way. I enjoyed seeing the three interact and watching their alliance turn into something more was a nice read. I hope that I get to return to this world again to see Talen find the love that he deserves.

Her life on the run, constantly on guard, has no room for happiness. When her past catches up and brings her back to the home she fled, she finds herself reevaluating her beliefs. To her surprise, she discovers her body and inner wolf want to claim three males.

Could it be that now older and wiser, she can accept the Lycan polyamorous way of life? Or will jealousy and fear send her running again?

Oh my goodness! Someone help me off the floor… My side hurts from laughing so hard and I think I am in love with all the characters in this story and quite possibly the author as well. Dana is a feisty she-wolf who has been on the run for twelve years because of pack law. She is determined to stay mate free. The magnetic pull of all the characters in this story was powerful and so delicious that I could not put the book down, and would have bitten anyone who dared to pull me away before I finished it. This story is full of howling laughter, lots of teasing, and really hot sex scenes that left me looking for another book by Ms. Langlais before I even finished this one. They say laughter is a way to release stress and this story will make you feel good in both mind and body. There was one thing that caught me off guard and seemed strange in the plot but I guess it could happen as it did in the movie “The Underworld”. Definitely a good read with a entertaining story line that is worth reading.
