Abby Clark, a vegetarian, punk rock back-up singer and city-slicker gets kicked off the band tour bus in the middle of nowhere, also known as Sentinel, Wyoming.

Stuck with nothing but a talent for cooking and the singing voice of an angel, she manages to disturb a very cranky, cold-hearted bear, um, Baer.

Joe Baer, a sexy Wyoming beef rancher. He has a nasty ex-girlfriend, killer blue eyes, a ranch mortgage that’s due, and a past that even he never suspected. Just when it looks like beef might be what’s for dinner, the “Earl of Country Music” steps into the picture. He’s a sexy vegetarian with a killer smile and connections that could launch a stellar-career for Abby.

Snow, tractors, country superstars, an unforgettable rodeo, and a tornado named Abby, will bring these “baers” out of hibernation.

A great time was had by all!

Want to laugh, smile, cry a little and sigh happily a lot? Then you need to read the debut novel by Linda McMaken, The Baer Truth.

I love an “opposites attract” story and this one delivers. Abby and Joe are nothing alike, but when they get together, be it to love, fight, or just share the same page, the sparks fly! The writing flows well. Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. I had to know what would happen and how much Abby would manage to get under his skin. I loved the sprinkle of mystery and the loads of laughter in these pages, too.

Abby is a back-up singer. She’s used to being in the back, but dancing to her own tune. Women and children are strongly advised to be done only by professionals as it incorporates several technical measures such as Petrissage sole, spreading the metatarsals, circular frictional forces, sildenafil sales etc. Typical symptoms: recurrent episodes of lower urinary tract infection rarely happened on men, it is quite severe when it do occur and usually acts as the sign of serious kidney disease. cipla tadalafil Moreover, you also need to Up Your Selenium, Take Adaptogens, Cut Out Simple Sugars, Practice Good Dietary Habits, Reduce ordering cialis Radiation Exposure, Eat Probiotic Foods and Consume More Healthy Fats. I loved how Ms. McMaken worked out the details. Abby is strong and carefree. I thought about her long after I closed the book.

Then there’s Joe. Tall, yummy and wearing faded jeans and cowboy boots. Who could ask for more? Not me. I loved his slow but sure attitude and his frustration with Abby. I could feel the attraction even when he wasn’t sure he could love a woman like her. The combination of Abby and Joe is sparkling and I’m glad I got to read this first installment.

If you want a book with an accident prone ex-rocker, a sexy cowboy and a little intrigue, look no further. Baer Truth is the book for you!

While Melissa is not materialistic, but she appreciates and enjoys beautiful things, and Ken loves to find unique pieces of jewelry for her. A mysterious little shop, Stephon’s, never fails to yield up just the perfect piece. The shop is like an archeological dig full of jewels, gold, and silver. Yet, she functions with compassion and dedication in the life she has chosen in lieu of the life she once dreamed of having. As the reader sees her a different way, after Ken’s life-changing deed, Melissa sparkles with vibrant life but with the same compassion and concern for others as before. She does not dismiss that spark of recognition as she sees Ken among the teeming crowd, but reaches out to him.

With poignant metaphors and magical imagery, the exquisite writing style of Michael Baron brings to life an enchanting love story that surpasses the usual and reveals a love willing to give all to assure a loved one gets to fulfill a deferred dream and innermost desire. Mr. Baron sprinkles Anything with humor, joy, social issues, exciting back story, and family relationships as he captivates with an incredible love story of soul mates finding their way to each other through a maze strewn with obstacles.

An ancient Hopi prophecy…the end of the Fourth World … a mysterious ruin…and a window between worlds.

Anthropologist Will Lansa grew up as a privileged child in Aspen, Colorado, but spent summers on the Hopi reservation, where his father was chief of police. Now Lansa grudgingly returns to his roots on the reservation after receiving a baffling message from Vina Lansa, his aged grandmother.

Vina sends him on the quest of a lifetime– to find Pahana, the Hopi’s returned savior. But Will soon encounters strange and disturbing events, and becomes a suspect in a murder. Pursued by FBI agent Ellie Fletcher, the two find themselves literally lost in another world, unable to get home, and hunted by Masau’u, the manifestation of the god of death and the Underworld.

For honesty’s sake, I have to say I don’t consider this a “romance novel”. There is an attraction, there is a “happily ever after” of sorts, and there is a scene including sexual relations; however, I would consider this more of an action/thriller. That being said, this romance fan REALLY enjoyed this book.

Dealing with the Hopi/Native American/Indian end-time prophecy, this book is set in the very-near future. The plot line is just real enough to be possible. This is one of those stories where you have to remind yourself that you are reading fiction, not truth. It was just a rumour that erectile dysfunction is deadly but after viagra for women uk being introduced in the market it has become possible. Make sure it provides sample generic viagra you with genuine and effective female arousal products works for issues like decreased sexual desire and increased ejaculation time. Get rid of all your problems today. Kamagra enables quick and long-lasting effectiveness on the condition cialis vs viagra amerikabulteni.com for permitting unforgettable intimacy to the user. Even though there is time travel, reality switching and body-sharing (time stealing), everything becomes plausible in this story.

The plot brings together old friends and twists and turns in relationships, realities, and timelines until none of them are sure what is reality and what is thrown their way to prevent the coming of the Fifth World. The reality jumping and native names do make things very confusing at times, but the story itself is gripping and keeps you reading until the end.

As stated earlier, there is a sexual encounter between Will and Ellie. A mutual attraction is mentioned during the story, but this encounter is more a plot element than an expression of their feelings for one another.

Leave plenty of time to read this novel. It’s long, and sheer volume will make it last. You won’t want to put the book down once Will visits his grandmother for the first time – things just start to snowball at that point, and you won’t want to miss anything. Also, the beginning of the book – while very important to understanding what happens later, can be very confusing, and may need a few “re-reads”. Do it as many times as you need, the rest of the story will be your reward! In fact, this may be one of the books you want to buy in hardback and then put on your “keeper” shelf!

Feisty fraud investigator, Callie Roberts, isn’t looking for a knight in shining armor to rescue her. She’s perfectly capable of taking care of herself. She’s had to be. Now, her business is thriving and her goal of owning her own home is finally in reach…if she can land her dream client.

The last thing she needs is to be distracted by a man, especially when he’s the powerful New York attorney who’s in town to represent the man her dream client has hired her to investigate.

Taylor Powers’ big city law career has brought him success, but a trip back to his home state of Florida has him wondering if it might be time to think of coming home for good. The sweet, sexy woman he’s drawn to only confuses matters. Callie’s career has made her a pro at keeping secrets and that plays havoc with his zero tolerance for deceptive women. Yet she attracts trouble like a magnet, kicking his protective instincts into overdrive.

Can Taylor unravel the mystery that is Callie? And with a past full of heartache, will Callie ever allow herself to believe happily ever after really can come true?

While the title had me expecting something rather whimsical, Ladybugs and Fireflies is, in fact, a zippy and quite classic contemporary romance with just enough intrigue to allow for the unexpected.

Callie Roberts, investigator, has had a crappy history in the romance department. And it’s been ages since she had a date. Taylor Powers does not appear to be the man who’s going to change all that. Well, perhaps for a moment there he does look like he’s going to change all that. Anything can happen in ‘speed dating,’ let’s face it. However, this fancy lawyer is only going to make life – and very probably her job – more difficult. She doesn’t know that at first of course: because they share one look and are swept away. Callie, although sweet in a slightly southern way, is far from the elegant yet helpless belle-type southern gal. In fact, I found her to be a perfectly wonderful leading lady: she’s feminine but self-sufficient; a bit of southern charm but tough, or maybe stern. Maybe a tiny bit of that self-sufficiency is from from life rather than inclination, but I found her admirable just the same. And she has a faintly humorous outlook, much of the time, that gives the story a sort of happy aura.

Taylor is everything a leading man should be: dashing, protective, forthright… and we hope, even honest. He’s good, and we so want Callie to see that. Maybe he’s not the complex character she is, but readers will really like him just the same. His point of view might reveal a little too much, but it isn’t distracting. It does help us to understand his frustration and maybe allow us to feel a little bit frustrated with Callie too. Aldredge really has a way of conveying not just a believable character, but their emotions. Secondary characters are also well done (friends are important- just look what Sally gets Callie into!)and happily fully-drawn also.

Simply put, this is a very entertaining story. The plot is interesting and engaging; the character’s goals obvious and understandable. The backdrop is great – there’s a real southern small-town flavor. There’s a few fun unexpected twists, quips and fun, but readers will want to read this for the wonderful characters and the depth of feelings you’ll share as you go.

Aldredge’s Ladybugs and Fireflies is one with appeal for all romance fans.

Meagan Layne longs for a traditional life as a wife and mother. Love, marriage to an honorable man, a stable home life for her son, more children; it shouldn’t be too much to ask. So how did she end up divorced from a man who left her in debt, with a small son to support on a budget that barely meets at the ends? Bobby Kerr despises his past and wants to build on the new start he made when he left his small hometown for Lubbock. He’s a new man in Christ, but he can’t forget the violent man he was. He won’t subject another woman to the perils of life with him. But Meagan stirs Bobby’s heart in a dangerous way, making him hope that love could be possible for him after all. If she’s willing to risk it.

How can two characters, both of whom are Christian and both believers in God’s grace become embroiled in a spiritual conflict? Well, there’s believing and believing. The author exploits hero Bobby’s “Yes, but…” belief in himself and God as the basis of this fine novel.

As with the author’s previous novel, Moving On, the spiritual trials of both Bobby and Meagan are finely drawn and entirely believable. Men, who release sperms during sleep involuntarily, are said to buy brand levitra be suffering from night discharge. When Bobby returns home to his father’s funeral, I could see that his mother would succeed in sucking him back into his dysfunctional family of origin. And yet, there I was, turning the pages as fast as my ebook reader could go (and I could read). And when Meagan draws away from Bobby, fearful for the safety of her young son in the light of Bobby’s revelations about his past, I sympathized with her, in spite of my desire to see Bobby settled and happy.

Setting is another strong point in this novel. The contrast between the town of Lubbock and the description of Bobby’s desolate, semi-abandonned home town is telling, to the point where I questioned whether anyone could be happy in such a place.

The romance is sweet, and the characters do a bit more than kiss, but it’s all very tastefully done and very believable as well, both the desire of Meagan to go a bit farther than kissing, and Bobby’s desire to hold the line.

I found the plot of this novel particularly satisfying, arising as it did from the hero and heroine’s characters and spiritual state, and the HEA ending, while a no-brainer for any reader of romance, particularly sweet. I rooted for the both of them from the first page right up to the last. If you enjoy inspirational romance, you’re sure to enjoy this book.

One aspect of this story that really separates it from any other story I have read is that it is extremely light hearted and playful. This was an exciting change to the typical love affair. A dandy is cheating in a gambling den of the Borealis space station, and Lieutenant Zara Frankel intends to catch him in the act. She always gets her man, but this one could prove more than she can handle.

Captain Czerno Drake, code name Black Dragon, intends to break his innocent uncle from the most secure penitentiary in the galaxy, on the Borealis space station. He will stop at nothing to succeed, even enrolling the help of the lovely straight arrow TPP enforcer. When Zara realizes that she’s been used by a shrewd but seductive rebel, however, her reaction surprises everyone, most of all herself.

I love the world of the Borealis Space Station. Unlike most, this is not a bright and shiny place to live and work, but a villainous, dark and decrepit pit, falling apart and inhabited by some of the dregs of the universe. I found the characters created by Ms. Schartz fit perfectly into this world, and I enjoyed following them all on this adventure.

In orbit around Sestus-3 sits an aging space station under the control of the Trans Planetary Protectorate. The Borealis is slowly falling apart as the TPP funnels its massive resources into the border wars and keeping the outlaying systems in line. The Borealis is a hive of villainy where anything can be bought or sold — anything or anyone — if the price is right. This is one tale of the people on both sides of the law, the beings who inhabit the Borealis.

Captain Czerno Drake has arrived on the infamous space station, intent on furthering his reputation as a skilled and lucky gambler at the casino. With his massive space yacht, Providence, and his fancy clothes, he appears to be the very image of the rich and successful dandy he wants everyone in the TPP to think he is. But there is a hidden agenda, and nothing is as it seems to be. Captain Czerno Drake is also the notorious rebel leader, Black Dragon, and he is on a mission to rescue his deeply religious and innocent uncle, wrongly imprisoned on Borealis. TPP Lieutenant Zara Frankel believes Captain Drake is a cheat, and sets out to prove it, going undercover to try and get the evidence she needs to trip him up. Zara joined the TPP to do good, but she is no longer the wide-eyed innocent who believes in the goodness of the Protectorate, but she intends to do her job to the best of her ability. But Czerno Drake gets under her skin, and soon, into her heart. When she learns who he really is, will she help in his quest to free an innocent religious man? Can she turn her back on her life with the TPP, and join the rebel cause? Can she trust this gambler with the biggest prize of all-her heart?

I like the balance of humor and danger in this story, and the action kept me glued to the pages.

Zara Frankel is an officer in the TPP, but she is not sure that she can continue to blindly go along with thing as they are. I like her strength, and her determination to do the right thing, even if the right thing conflicts with the goals of the Protectorate. I enjoyed watching as she discovered nothing is as it seems, and loved her surprise at seeing who was willing to confide in her to help Czerno rescue his uncle.

Czerno Drake, AKA the Black Dragon, is strong and determined to get to his uncle and get him off the Borealis. He has no plans to fall in love, and he certainly didn’t plan on meeting the one woman who could tame the Black Dragon. Czerno is loyal to friends and family, and that eventually grows to encompass Zara in the small but elite group of confidants. I like his sense of humor, and his ability to think and act quickly. I also loved his choice of pets, his white angora cat, Marshmallow, who travels everywhere with the Captain.

This is a gentle love story, filled with twists and turns, and danger for our intrepid hero and heroine. There is a hidden agenda from the Protectorate, and a surprise or two uncovered along the way. I enjoyed watching as suspicion turned to admiration, and admiration became the first flickers of love between Czerno and Zara.
