Neva had to face her insecurities and her new partner at the same time. What chance does her resolve have when Archer’s very presence has her wound up?

Escaping through her workshop tunnel, Neva is less than impressed to find that her proposed partner was the one sent to rescue her and the Citadel staff.

She has managed to dodge her offered position in the Sector Guard for over two years and when Archer comes to save her, she knows that her time to think about it is over.

Archer is bewildered that a woman like Neva keeps turning him down. He’s ridiculously handsome, has an impressive talent and is a charming conversationalist. What more could a woman want?

The Sector Guard continues to grow and prosper as Viola Grace finds more adventures for them to embark upon. There are only a couple more books to this series, and I will be sorry to see the end of this part of the series.

As a Winder, Neva Corren uses her talent to escape with her charges when the Raiders attack the Citadel. She can manipulate string or wire to her needs, and even use it as a weapon if needed. She has declined offers of a Sector Guard position for two years, but now she has no other choice if she wants to get herself and the rest out safely.

As she takes her group of empaths and sensitives out through the tunnels, she warns them they may have to fight. She realizes someone in the village, someone wanting at least one of them captured or dead, betrayed them. She is not looking forward to meeting up with the man she knows will be her partner, either, but turning down the Sector Guard this time could be dangerous for those she is protecting as well as herself. If only Archer wasn’t so insufferably smug, things may have been different. She is attracted to him, but not ready to just jump into his arms, no matter how delicious he looks. To the contrary, it is definitely small acts of cute-n-tiny.com viagra rx random kindness that opens the guts and soothe vessel issues. Last longer with buy tadalafil in canada professionalYou realize that with age a lot of things change. This affects cute-n-tiny.com levitra properien the sexual desires and lessens erectile potency. As for Archer, he can’t understand Neva’s hesitation. He is quite the catch, and he is supremely sure of himself.

Can these two very opposite personalities find common ground and work together? When treachery and danger threaten, can they finally become the team Commander foresaw and finish the task at hand? Can they find out who is behind the attacks that are becoming more frequent every day?

As with all of Ms Grace’s books, the world here is unique and full of rare and unusual species, with a multitude of talents. There is a bit more danger and intrigue in this one, as the Raiders have stepped up their attacks in their search for talents to capture and use for their own, less than honorable goals.

Neva Corren is a Winder, able to weave anything needed from simple items usually overlooked by people. She was reluctant to become active with the Guard, in part because of her attraction to Archer, her proposed partner and mate. She is never far from danger, and is usually found running straight into the middle of any fight or disaster. I loved her attitude toward Archer: she knows she wants him, but she isn’t ready to overlook his smug and arrogant temperament just yet. She also hides something about herself that makes her sure he will turn away from her when he knows the truth.

Brav Welkin, or Archer, is strong, brave and absolutely gorgeous. He is self confident, and doesn’t understand Neva’s attitude toward him at all. He has an unusual talent, using bioelectrical energy to form his weapon of choice, a bow and arrow, hence the code name Archer. I like his determination to do what it takes to be the best partner for Neva, and I love him for his ability to see past what she considers her ‘disfigurement’ to the woman inside.

There are several very dangerous missions for these two before they are able to settle into their roles as partners. There is a second rescue of personnel from Yski to accomplish, and a trio of escaped murderers to find. But the best action is the time spent between Neva and Brav as they finally become partners, then friends and, finally lovers while on Station 13.

There is a bit of mental trauma they will need to come to terms with, but this has all the signs of being another happy ever after in the Sector Guard. A great read.

Gwen Walberg, literature teacher and self-professed geek, is thrilled to acquire a priceless antique book but soon learns why it came so cheap. The book contains the ghost of Violetta, its former owner, who spices up her boring afterlife by playing matchmaker. Gwen is her new target—and if she won’t cooperate, Violetta is prepared to throw a storm of dangerous tantrums. Rather than give up the treasured book, Gwen reluctantly surrenders, and learns Violetta has already chosen the man for her: Gwen’s gorgeous gardener and friend, Paul Chang.

Paul is stunned that a ghost wants to cast him as a romance hero but intrigued enough to cooperate. Step by awkward step, Paul and Gwen allow their weird voyeur to force them into compromising positions. But what if the unlikely couple starts enjoying their bizarre, steamy situation? Can they ever cultivate a healthy relationship with an unstable ghost tagging along?

She was so excited to find this really rare book on sale for $75. All she could think was that the seller didn’t realize its value. She didn’t know it housed a resident ghost…

If you enjoy comedy with a mix of romance, you’ll love this book. It’s a real hoot to read. Ms. Ringle makes her two main characters Gwen and Paul, attractive, available and quick witted. Her ghost is a Victorian era lady who died a virgin. Just the story of her death is enough to make you spit whatever you’re drinking all over your computer screen. This is the procedure how Kamagra or several other medicines are manufactured and bring in use for the patients. viagra soft 100mg Thanks for the Propecia and good luck for u people. canadian viagra sales When such sexual disorders appear in men or women’s lives, they should refer their problems to the doctor prior to levitra brand taking the drug. Gwen’s a literature professor at the local college; Paul is her hired gardener. Neither thought the other person would be interested in them. This author demonstrates what can happen if you actually take the time to talk to one other — there is generally more to a person than what you see in front you. Violetta, our ghost, is determined to experience passion and love and she thinks these two are perfect for each other. It all starts with a small kiss…

The absolutely ridiculous things the ghost demands from the couple kept me chuckling. Especially as they keep trying to figure out how to get rid of her so they actually can get to know each other better. The author shows them embarrassing themselves, getting fretful about the ghost, and suddenly worrying about how natural being with each other feels. It sounds like some relationships I’ve been in but I didn’t have a ghost to worry about.

I love how Ms. Ringle creates one of the silliest ghosts you can imagine and then at the end turns Gwen’s Uncle into someone she’s not sure she even wants to know. You know, that TMI (too much information) thing. It’s all in good fun and made me laugh.

I like this one a lot and am buying my own copy of it to keep. Why don’t you get one, too? I bet you laugh through the whole story. I know I did.

Determined to prove her worth as a budding archeologist, Genisse Braxton vows to solve one of the world’s greatest mysteries–to find the location of the lost city of Zerzura. Unfortunately, no man dares take the risk of escorting the resolute young scholar across the open desert. But on her way to Egypt, Genisse engages in a daring deception–she will switch places with Mildred Whimpelhall, who is traveling to meet her fiancé.

Cynical adventurer Jim Owen will do anything to escape the dark secrets of his troubled past. Betrayed by the woman he loved, scorned by proper society, he agrees to carry out a danger-fraught task: escort Mildred Whimpelhall across a lawless desert to her intended. But Jim is about to learn that “Mildred” isn’t exactly what she seems . . . and the dangers they face together are eclipsed only by an even greater peril: falling in love, against all reason, with another guy’s bride . . .

She’ll do anything to get to the lost city of Zerzura. She’ll even pretend she’s the fiancé of an officer stationed across the desert near the city. So what if she has to travel with a rogue to get there?

This is a smashing adventure that I greatly enjoyed reading. The author’s main male character, Jim Owens, has lost in love and fortune and wants nothing more than to be declared “dead” so he can get on with a new life. This Sildenafil citrate is marketed by the US based online viagra india company, Pfizer. For example, components as Sian Mao, Heather Zhi sildenafil cipla and Solidilin are proved to help to improve sperm and the sperm quantity. He only agrees to transport this potential bride because he owes the officer his life, and he’s paying back that debt. The female main character is a girl who was sent away to boarding school to learn some manners and be more like a lady. In other words, she was too adventuresome to please her parents; boarding school didn’t help. Ginesse seems born to bad luck. She really needs a protector, but you’ll never convince her of that.

The author takes these two headstrong people and throws them into the middle of the desert alone together on a journey that includes bandits, weather challenges, and scorpions. Ginesse almost drowns. The action is non-stop, which makes the story fun. My favorite part is the fact that the two characters are drawn to each other, but neither desires a relationship. The author uses this conflict to spice up the story with disagreements, misunderstandings, and just general stubbornness on the part of her characters. It works well.

The story is set in the late 1890s and the cross-culture mix of Victorian attitudes and the crude desert life make this tale interesting. Travel is by camel, so the author uses the slowness of travel to enhance the tension between her two characters very effectively.

I had not read anything by this author before, but I’ll be looking for her work now. This book impressed me enough it is going in my personal library. It’s a rollicking good tale with outrageous characters and I recommend it to all.

The only good ties she has here are her brother and his wife. Casey’s reclusive life is slowly changing, now that she’s surrounded by what’s left of her family, and a man who must protect her at all costs, despite Casey’s efforts to push him away.

Scott Weller is just as unhappy about having to be a bodyguard to Casey as she is. Scott is also a friend of her brother, and Casey wants the information about needing protection and a possible stalker to stay hidden. The sparks fly between the two, though at first it’s not the good, falling in love sparks. The two drive each other crazy and are usually throwing harsh words at one another for awhile. After a few incidents, though, the two finally start getting along and giving into their desires.

Ms. Molina brings the characters to life with their troubled pasts and wide variety of characteristics that make them very dynamic. The tension is high as someone gets closer to having Casey just where they want her. I was left guessing until the very exciting climax of the book, one that I didn’t see coming. This is an excellent novel, one that had me at the edge of my seat, hanging onto every word. Romantic suspense fans should take note of this author, and this excellent story with believable characters and intense plot.

David White has been on the reality TV show, Marry a Single Guy, and is about to lose his mind from women chasing him. At Christmas he makes his break and runs off to the Colorado mountains to his grandfather’s old cabin to hide out for a while.

But what happens when Holly is found by her brother Noel and is taken back to Christmas Town? She’s already fallen in love with David.

David, not knowing how to find Holly, does the only thing he can. He goes back on television to find the woman of his dreams.

Bev Oz has written a charming and fun story for the holidays. The mix of reality and fantasy is the perfect touch in this one, and the characters are delightful and richly detailed.

It’s Christmas Eve, and Christmas Town has been hit by the flu. This year, Santa’s daughter goes along for the annual traditional ride, hoping to help. Atop a secluded cabin in the mountains, Holly waits for her father to come back to the sleigh, but when it has been more than the usual amount of time, she realizes something is wrong. When she finds him passed out with fever on the cabin floor, she gets him back to the sleigh, but he refuses to leave without his sack. When Holly goes back for it, Blitzen takes off with out her, stranding her in the cabin.

Can Holly find a way back home to Christmas Town at the North Pole? When her brother suddenly rescues her, can she figure out her feelings for David? And can an elf and a human find a way to have a happy ever after at the North Pole?

The world Ms. Oz built for this story is fascinating yet familiar, with few characters to distract from the main couple.

Holly Claus is a delight. She is modern, yet sweet and gentle too. She has trouble being around strangers, but is comfortable with David. She has issues with one of her father’s reindeer, and her sarcasm with that animal is fun to see. I like listening to her ‘inner dialogue’ about David as she becomes closer to him, and loved her combination of sexiness and innocence.

David White is an interesting hero. He writes children’s books, and he’s one hot hunk. His only fault was agreeing to the television show in a moment of weakness, after his girlfriend left him. I love David’s sense of humor, and his willingness to believe in the unbelievable, and accept Holly for who she really is.

There are some fun parts to this story, as Holly and David become acquainted and learn that things aren’t always what they may appear to be. I loved that, just as things were heating up between our lovely elf and her hot hunk, big brother shows up to take Holly back to the North Pole and her family. The rest of the story is delightful, and I was surprised at the things David was willing to do to try and contact Holly to see if there was really something there to build a relationship on.

Do Holly and David have a happy ever after? Check out Far From Silent Night, and add some wonderful holiday warmth to your life.

While it’s often difficult to flesh out characters in a short story, author Irby has done a remarkable job of creating two hurting, but likable people who might be ready to take the next step forward. The faith aspect of the story fits well into who each character is; in fact it endears both of them to this reader. When Major Aaron Bricewick is rescued from Afghanistan terrorists, he thinks the worst is over. But his personal journey is just beginning…

The first surprise is the amputation of one of his legs.

The second is the woman he left behind, now a widow with a 4-year-old son – and his new prosthetist (artificial limb maker).

He vows that losing his leg won’t derail his career. But maintaining his outward appearance as a got-it-together officer becomes increasingly difficult as he faces one personal demon after another – and sees his career aspirations slipping away. And though he has no intention of expanding his life to include a woman, his heart has other ideas – and he finds himself questioning the very foundation of his personal beliefs.

When violence – and unexpected redemption – touch his life again, Aaron must make a stand. Which will he choose: duty or love?

A man tormented by nightmares and the after affects of a capture, and a woman who has lost so much, but still feels blessed. These two amazing people have met and loved each other before, but now are brought face to face again. True Surrender is Aaron and Holly’s story, and along the way are some powerful scenarios and deep, emotional conflict that needs resolving.

Aaron Bricewick wakes up in a strange place after being imprisoned by terrorists. His memories are of bad, disturbing things and he can’t shake those feelings away. But Aaron is now home in America, free, and he’s in for a long ride ahead because he has to adapt to his new life.

A major in the Army, a man like Aaron is used to being independent, strong, and capable. Now he’s not so sure, and his desire to not allow anyone in to help deal with his pain is slowly eating away at him. My heart went out to this man, and though he’s only a character in a book, there are many men like him out in the real world that could be and possibly are going through the same thing that Aaron did. That’s what makes him such a character to relate to, and his strong emotions pulled me into this book and never let go.

Holly Rossiter is a widowed mother of a wonderful little boy. What Holly doesn’t expect when she goes into work one day is to come face to face with a man from her past, and have to deliver some startling news to him. She loved Aaron long ago, but their different paths in life caused the pair to drifted apart. What matters now is Holly is here for Aaron, and wants to see him through this difficult time. Not many could go through such a traumatic experience only to meet up again with someone they never thought he’d see again. This is a new beginning for Holly and Aaron, along with Holly’s young son, Nick.

True Surrender has an outstanding plot that holds on tightly to the readers emotions, strong characters that you won’t be able to forget, and intense situations that will either make or break it for this couple. It’s a contemporary romance with light inspirational aspects. Aaron must come to terms with life and God and accept what has become of him even thought he fails to understand why. And Holly, despite the things she’s lost, embraces life as a blessing. As light and dark join forces, it’s only a matter of time before love finds its way into their lives once again.

I enjoyed this book and was glad to be able to read it. The author takes a story that could be part of someone’s real life and keeps the reader engaged the whole while. HE’LL TAKE ANY MISSION, THE RISKIER THE BETTER…

The haunted eyes of pararescueman Hugh Franco should have been her first clue that deep pain roiled beneath the surface. But if Amelia couldn’t see the damage, how could she be expected to know he’d break her heart?

SHE’LL PROVE TO BE HIS BIGGEST RISK YET…

Amelia Bailey’s not the kind of girl who usually needs rescuing…but there are anything but usual circumstances.

Strong characters that never falter in their determination to serve “that others may live” make Hot Zone an adrenaline-pumping journey through hellish experiences and emotional upheavals.

Amelia Bailey, a tough, no-holds-barred county prosecutor, entombed under a collapsed hotel, tamps down hysteria and claustrophobia. By wiggling her arm through a small hole, she can touch thirteen-month-old Joshua, her adopted nephew whom she had told her brother and sister-in-law she would take care of. She vows to do whatever it takes to keep him alive until help arrives. The ensuing dangers that Amelia meets and overcomes are hair-raising, yet read as if they are late-breaking news.

Master Sergeant Hugh Franco, a pararescueman, truly does serve “that others may live”. He has found no other reason to live since the death of his wife and daughter. He seems to work at the most dangerous assigns as if they are getting him one day closer to joining them.

When his involvement with Amelia and Joshua doesn’t end when he rescues them from the rubble, Hugh has a personal battle to fight. He balks again and again at the long-dormant emotions coming alive and making him vulnerable, making him care, maybe even love. He is somewhat of a Superman at rescues, but afraid of caring emotions.

The earthquake demolished city, the looting and crimes, the human trafficking, the jungle dangers, and human depravity keep the reader in a breath-holding mode much of the time. Amelia, so out of her depth and dependent on Hugh, creates an anxiety that keeps the reader turning pages to see how in the world they escape the many perils.

The secondary characters like three-time divorced Major Liam McCabe and the rescue dog handler Rachel Flores should have a book all their own. Other characters that struggle with personal problems are Amelia’s brother Dr. Aiden Bailey and his nurse wife Lizabeth. They help save as many as they can in the make-shift hospital, as they look for and inquire about Amelia and Joshua in their down time from doing surgeries. But the family issue they much come to terms with threatens to derail their marriage.

Of course, the antagonists, especially the Guardian and crew are a despicable lot that ramps up the action to the max. How their twisted minds justify human trafficking is abhorrent.

The sex scenes to “decompress” and the sex scenes with love create a wrinkle in time. They help block out the horrors and terrors of that has happened. These scenes also enhance connections that help get the characters on the road back to normalcy and to a life with hope for happy-ever-afters.

Catherine Mann’s powerful writing style sweeps the reader into pulse-pounding dangers, gripping suspense, and spine-tingling passion. Moreover, she creates super heroes that send the heart racing. The women she creates have their share of flaws but are strong, intelligent, passionate and worthy of love. Hot Zone assails the senses, offers up an-off-beat sort of humor, and stirs emotions from the very depths of one’s being—a transporting read.

Children of the Undying, Book 1

Fifty years after a demon apocalypse devastated the world, summoners still bear the bulk of the blame. Marci lives in secret, hiding the gifts that could cost her a secure spot in one of humanity’s underground cities, and access to their virtual world. After all, her chances of avoiding the genetic-testing lotto are better than her chances of surviving topside.

The bastard son of a terrifying incubus, lust heats Gabe’s blood and sex fuels his magic. Innate charm and charisma help him navigate the cultural gap between the outcast town he calls home and the human settlements he infiltrates for trade. His latest mission nets him an unexpected asset—a summoner strong enough to soothe his darkest needs.

Trust a half demon, especially one who uses a lockdown to trap them together? Not in this lifetime. Yet Marci can’t resist Gabe’s offer to see her safely to a selective outcast settlement where she can live without fear. The journey alone is as dangerous as the way Gabe makes her heart race, but it could be her one hope of a real life.

If only she could be sure Gabe’s telling her the whole truth…

Moira Rogers has created a dark and dangerous world, filled with demons and ruined cities.

The demon Armageddon has created chaos in the world. Fifty years later, life is lived in virtual reality, and in underground cities. Summoners, those who aren’t quite human, are being blamed for it all still, all these years later. Marci has been hiding in plain sight, a summoner passing as human in Gold Mills. She is a net tech, working in the virtual reality field.

The authorities have started a genetic testing lottery, searching for those who may be other than human. When a new face shows up, he focuses on Marci. Gabe is handsome and sexy, and there is a side of him that is drawn to Marci: his demon side. Gabe is a halfblood, part demon, part human, but all male. When the system goes down, Marci and Gabe have only seconds to get to a secure area. When Gabe tells Marci about a place where she can live openly, without fear of discovery, she wants to believe him. No need to increase the dose of medicines without being interacted cialis levitra generika with doctors. But she is also worried that, as part demon, he has tricked her. Gabe is determined to save Marci, from the demons and humanity, but can he earn her trust and love without using his gifts? Can Marci accept Gabe and what he offers? Or will she strike out on her own once she is free?

The world for this story is the ruin of Minneapolis, and the underground cities humanity has created to be safe. I love the world, and the characters that inhabit it. There is a sense of urgency and danger around every corner, and the fear of reprisal and attack is very prevalent in this.

Marci is a strong and very intelligent woman. She is a summoner, but has been able to stay under the notice of the city authorities so far. But with the new genetic lottery, she realizes it is just a matter of time before her secret is revealed. She is willing to keep the status quo, until Gabe enters her life and turns it all upside down. I like Marci, and her determination to live her life her way once she is offered the opportunity.

Gabe is hot and sexy, and definitely nothing that Marci has seen before. He is determined to keep her safe, and not influence her decisions where he is concerned. But he forgets to be completely honest with her, and this could end up working to his disadvantage in the future. I liked Gabe, and his attempts to not use his demon magic to bind Marci to him. He is determined to allow her free will, and the ability to make her own choices, even if they don’t include him in her future.

This is a very interesting start to Moira Rogers’ newest series, and there is a lot of world building in it. I enjoyed meeting the people who inhabit this world, and look forward to meeting more of them as the series progresses. The secondary characters are all well crafted, but Marci and Gabe are the stars in this one. There is a bit of danger, a harrowing escape, and lots of steamy romance in this, and there is a happy ever after for Gabe and Marci after a few tense moments. I recommend this to anyone who likes romance with an edge.
