I loved it! Absolutely no one does polyamorous romance better than Jane Rylon, and this book is just another example of why she is a master at her craft.

So let’s get on with what went down in this book. The story takes off right where book #1, King Cobra, left off. Sally is heartbroken when she stumbles upon her two Hot Rods, Eli and Alonso, getting it on with some chick they’ve picked up. So she takes some time off and visits with the crew from Power Tools (another excellent series from Rylon that you do not want to miss) and gets some advice from her friends about how to handle her men. While she is gone away Eli and Alonso are exploring and enjoying their new relationship. While it is true that the guys are having a lot of fun in the bedroom and everywhere else, they miss Sally and regret that they hurt her. They want another chance with Sally and so do the rest of the Hot Rods crew. The naughty sexy games begin just as soon as their mustang mama gets back home.

OMG! The story really gets racy with Sally’s return. As an avid Rylon fan, I was ready for the fun and games to begin and she definitely did not let me down. The book had lots of kinky games with M/M, M/F/M, M/M/F, some back door action and one heck of a scorching group scene. That one had this reader ready for a cold shower … or a little something else.

As much as I enjoyed all the fun and games that the Hot Rods got up to, the story had a little bit of suspense going on, too. The guys are wanting something more permanent but Sally has been keeping a secret that could ruin their relationship. But Rylon didn’t keep me hanging on too long and I really liked how everything was resolved.

Just so you know, I loved this book. I love the Hot Rods series and I’m eager and ready for the next book. I’m not gonna ruin anyone’s fun, but I’m thinking that I know who is up next. I already know that I’m gonna love it cause Rylon never lets me down. She knows how to write a story that will really get me cranked up and make me happy. This one did and I’m happy to recommend it to those readers who love a racey, scorching story.

Some of the back story and language used was confusing at times, but when I realized that it allowed me to understand Eliana and her position better, it made perfect sense. There were some very hot sex scenes, but there was also a lot of time where Eliana is learning to trust and allow herself to let go. I was very upset when Eliana and Kon had a falling out, and when they finally come back together I rejoiced. It’s an interesting relationship, it’s Kon and Dane, Kon and Eliana and the Eliana and Dane. They all love and relate to each other differently and yet love each other as a trio as well. Eliana lived a hard life so if reading about a character’s past abuse is a problem, I’d skip this one.

I recommend this book for fans of unique paranormal worlds with some serious sexiness thrown in.

This piece walks you through deep feelings and longings of the heart.

With the Boys in the Band is a nicely written ménage paranormal tale. I enjoyed it from start to finish. The fact the boys were in a band was a bit of a secondary feature to the story and a bit more could have been made of it if the author wanted to elaborate on the super-star status. The leading lady Alicia was a great character and I warmed to her. She was a good listener and gave sensible advice to Emerson and Vince when they had to face up to the attraction they’d felt for one another for years but been denying.

I was a little surprised by the twist in the tale concerning Alicia but it did draw her and Vince together nicely, in fact so nicely again I would have liked a little more of that side of the story too.

Emerson was sensitive and sweet, Vince was a bit more rough around the edges, a bit moodier, and I liked that. The other members of the band were secondary characters but worked well in the plot line.

The sex was hot, whether it was m/f or m/f/m. The author writes it well, though there was one occasion I had to back up a page and check the choreography. Double penetration was happening but her butt hadn’t been mentioned. Once I figured it out though, I was good to go. Again the story could have expanded on the two guys hooking up for the first time. There is some m/m action but it’s not their first time. That is alluded to in a couple of sentence, and I’m greedy, I wanted to be a fly on the wall, seeing that, being there! But I guess that just shows that With the Boys in the Band is a good story with characters that sucked me and I wanted more, more, more.

The three of them are believable as a trio, Zeke loves them both and Rory and Maura love Zeke and watching Rory and Maura fall in love was very enjoyable. Most of Ms. Schroeder’s Harmless books catch up with past characters and this one is no different. The relationship between Maura and her brother is portrayed in such a way that I wanted a protective older brother who loves me that much. No Harmless book is complete without a trip to the Hawaiian BDSM club known as Rough N Ready, and while there was no play at the club, it was great to catch up on old characters. The BDSM aspects of this book just add to the spicy sex scenes.

There were times when I wanted to smack the characters and yell at them to talk to each other, but I see that as a plus to the story, since I cared enough to want to help them. The characters are strong, the story is well fleshed out and the descriptions make me want to book a trip to Hawaii immediately to visit all the places that are described.

This is the eighth installment of the Harmlessseries, the first ménage in the series, and while I did enjoy catching up on the other characters, I would say that this book could be read as a stand alone. I do thoroughly recommend this whole series. Bisexual men and BDSM made this book a must read, so don’t hesitate to try this book.

Stephen, just heart-achingly adorable, Cooper, the rough, tough bad boy, and Deke, well what’s not to love about him?

Even though there were a few too many scenes in this book for my tastes, I cannot argue their effectiveness. In every scorching hot and tantalizing escapade, the relationship that grows between Rebecca, Trey and Zane is done best while they are having sex. The author accomplished this amazing feat by upping the ante in each encounter. Every time they got together, in whatever combination was needed at that moment, pushed the envelope and made demands on the characters’ emotions, feelings and ideas of commitment and willingness to compromise.

I was treated to some very detailed and adventurous lovemaking and pretty much every kind of combo of kink was attempted. Cars, elevators, public, private, wet or dry, bound or free, it was all there to play with and it was apparent that Ms. Holly knows how to make a person squirm, hyperventilate and come back for more. I kept flipping those pages at a furious pace – or, in my case, pushing that eReader button like a fiend.

The suspense and drama comes from the poisoned snake in the garden of love. The villain was effective and believable as a person who wants to ruin a good thing out of spite, jealousy and plain old vindictive vengeance. How this person was reigned in was pretty funny. I enjoyed the whole ‘secret agent’ feel to the scene. Zane is a classy guy.

The Billionaire Bad Boys Club was a fun, delicious and delightfully naughty adventure that was almost impossible to put down. Because of the author’s slow revealing of the heroes and heroine’s inner fears, worries, and their dreams, the characters have the ability to tap into a reader’s emotions. I fell in love with them as they fell in love with each other; although I’m pretty sure they had a lot more fun than me.

That’s Kassius’s problem, for he is in a love affair with a mighty elemental being who also happens to be his Emperor and best friend. But when his lover must take Rakel as his bride for political purposes, will Kassius be left out? Will he no longer feel the kiss that burns like ice?

When I chose to review this short story, I wasn’t looking for plot or great characters. I was just looking for hot sex, and the dirtier the better. This, with the various warnings attached, seemed to fit the bill. However, after reading it, I did discover the moving plot and compelling characters within. Although the story is short, it is a complete story.

Kassius is a man sent to bring the beautiful and young Rakel back to his Emperor. Kassius is in love with the Emperor and they have been secret lovers for ages, so it’s very hard on him that his mate is now going to marry a woman. Kassius battles feelings of both jealousy and secret love. While he would never betray his lover, he is also deeply attracted to the blushing bride.

Rakel has never been touched by a man. All her life she’s been prepped to become the Emperor’s wife, and now that day has come. She’s taken away from her family, friends, village and taken by Kassius to the man she’s destined to marry, a man she has never met. She’s anxious and scared, and Kassius is there for her. She develops a lusty desire for him, but how can she act on it and betray her new husband.

So you can see the conflict right there. All the characters in this short story are driven by different desires and needs that are forbidden for them. Definitely great characterization and plot.

Another thing I loved about this story is the setting. I’ve never read anything set in a place like that before and I’ll be sure to read other works by this author to learn more about this fantastical world where elementals and Emperors live. My only complaint about that is I wanted more description of it. I wanted to see the journey they traveled and see this country and village, and I wasn’t able to imagine it.

Now we’re getting to my favorite part of any short story, the sex. Despite all the warning labels attached to this story, the sex wasn’t hot. I wanted dirty and this wasn’t. It was sensual, romantic, tender, and passionate. It wasn’t “I need to do you now” one night stand kind of sex. It was “I found my soul mate” kind of lovemaking. The sex was written differently than in other erotic romance stories and I really liked the sensual vs hot writing style.

Each of the band members, both in Sinners and Exodus End, are individual talents and I enjoyed learning a bit more about each of them during this storyline. I also liked seeing the behind the scenes lives of rock stars on tour here, and how at some times, they were just regular guys, who just happen to be famous.

Reagan Elliott is determined to be a musician, but not the kind her father would want her to be. Strong, talented and feisty, she is an individual with a ton of talent. She is smart, but a bit insecure, and I enjoyed watching as Trey was able to bring out her independent streak, and show her what she could really accomplish. She is sassy, sarcastic and just plain fun as a character.

Trey Mills is sexy, talented and hot. After years of unrequited love for Brian, he is determined to move on with his life, and finds in Reagan a sense of peace and completeness he never expected to find. He decides to make major changes in his life, and as he falls deeper in love with Reagan, he still feels bad that he hasn’t been completely honest with her about his dual sexual desires. When he finally come to Reagan and tells her the complete truth, then walks away rather than hurt her later, I was so proud of him. I felt that one scene showed just how much Trey had grown, as a lover and a man, and it made me cry just a little.

Ethan Connor is strong, loyal, and so very hot. A former policeman who wants nothing more that to help those who can’t help themselves, his one mistake was one that cost him Reagan’s affection. Ethan is loyal to his friends, especially Reagan, and he is determined that he will protect her, even from himself if need be. When Trey enters the picture, Ethan is tempted, and knows that Trey is interested too, but can’t move on his interest for fear of hurting Reagan, and ruining the friendship that has survived after what she sees as his betrayal.

There are a couple of intriguing threads to this one, and I enjoyed how Ms. Cunning wove them together. I liked the interaction between the two bands, and hope, once Ms. Cunning has finished with the Sinners, she gives us all a look at the boys in Exodus End as well.

I liked the way the stalker thread unwound, and was surprised at who it turned out to be; not who I expected at all. I loved Reagan’s solution for a happy ever after, one that worked for everyone concerned-Reagan, Trey and Ethan are terrific together, and the scene at the dungeon is beyond any I could have imagined. Do these three stop the stalker, tour the country and find true love? Read Double Time for the answers and beware, hot guys are around every corner in this one, with plenty of three way loving to heat up the night.
