She’s just fine with saving her imagination for her books until temptation appears in the form of Nunzio, the smokin’-hot office IT guy. When he discovers one of her scorching books shooting out of the printer, Elena’s not sure if he wants her because she’s inventive or because he thinks she’s desperate. That doesn’t stop her from taking advantage of his “services”.

On her desk. On the copier. And, oh yeah—in her boss’s chair.

Nunzio’s shocked to learn Elena’s wall-hugging persona hides a wildcat of a woman with delicious fantasies and an enticing wit. She’s exactly what he’s been looking for in an adventurous lover—and girlfriend. He knows she enjoys their sexual research. Now he just has to convince her that sizzling sex is only the first chapter of their blazing-hot romance.

Elena Thomas is a legal secretary by day and a steamy erotica writer by night. While at work, she works on her writing until Nunzio, the new computer tech, gets a look at her work. His interest piqued, he pursues her, wanting to make her fantasy into a reality.

I’m normally not a huge fan of the whole writer as a main character but the cover attracted me to this book. Ms. Quinn has proven that a good writer can make anything work. From the passionate build-up between Nunzio and Elena to the smoking hot sex scenes, everything flowed perfectly.

I literally couldn’t stop reading this book. The sex kept getting hotter and even hotter with every passing scene. Even though I had to sleep, I needed to keep reading because the plot and the writing just completely had a grip on me and wouldn’t let go. Nunzio was one of the hottest heroes I have seen in a long time, and not just because I’m partial to Italian men. The chemistry between the hero and heroine was off the charts.

This book was deliciously sinful and I’m looking forward to other books from Ms. Quinn, especially since her sex scenes are amazing.

Cal has been alone all his life. After all, lust demons aren’t known for their ability to fall in love. For centuries, he’s used his gifts to help others find the happy ending he felt he would never have. When a virgin fae, Gabe, walks into his club, Cal is immediately struck by the little sprite’s good looks. Knowing the fae’s natural magnetism could ignite a riot, Cal immediately rushes Gabe out of the club, only to find out he was sent to be Cal’s mate. But Gabe is in trouble. The evil halfers seek fae essence to become human. Knowing Gabe is in danger sets off every protective instinct within Cal. Can a lust demon defy convention and find his happy ending with an innocent fae?

You would think in a story about a lust demon that he would be the kinky one. But that is not the case here! Gabe, the virgin fae, has an appetite for sex that only Cal, the sensual lust demon, can appease.

This was a very unique spin on traditional demons. We all know that demons are supposed to be these evil, soulless creatures. If that is the type of demon you want than you are in the wrong place. Yes, Cal is a demon and yes he must feed off of people, but he does not steal your eternal soul. Instead he absorbs your lust, while providing one of the best sexual experienced anyone has experienced. Cal also tries to use his need to feed for good in a way only a lust demon can. I have always appreciated an author that can do something different with an older concept.

The characters themselves were entertaining. This goes for the two main characters as well as their wide array of supporting characters. Usually I have one character that stands out in a story, but I really cannot pick just one or even two particular characters in Lust and Fae. I wanted to get to know each and every one of them, even the minor characters like the random security guard. No, I will not tell you how gorgeous so and so was or how humorous that character was, because I would be writing for days. I will say that this is the first story in the series and I better see much more of each and every one of these characters.

There is a forced seduction scene in this story, but it does not involve the main characters and it is very brief, but is mentioned throughout the story. I labeled this story voyeurism because lust demons don’t care about who watches them while in the throes of passion. Also, a better part of the story takes place in a sex club were people watch sexual activities regularly. This is also why this story is labeled m/f/m/m — even though it does not involve the main characters.

This story has plenty of lust filled activities. So if you like your erotica with plenty of naughty activity, with a fun plot and great characters then this story would be perfect for you.

This is one visit to Cattle Valley that you will not want to miss!

Carol Lynne just keeps getting better and better with each book she writes. This story has a great flow to it. I love all of her characters and Pete, Brian and Ethan are right up there with the rest. I’ve been looking forward to Ethan’s story since he arrived in Cattle Valley and was not disappointed.

Ms. Lynne is one of the few authors that I’m comfortable reading a ménage story. ED may get treated with medicines, injections into free prescription for levitra the spinal fluid. I normally do not like ménage stories since I feel like one of the three is left on the outside looking in during most of the story. I feel that, even though Pete and Brian are somewhat together before Ethan joins them; all three are most definitely equals in their relationship.

I would have loved to see more of what Pete’s life was like since we see Brian dealing with being a widower and with his teenage son and we know Ethan is dealing with his wounded heart. All the reader really sees about Pete is he is a man who knows what he wants. We also know that Pete and Brian will do anything to protect Ethan when Ethan has to deal with a stalker and the shock of finding out who that stalker is, has other members of Cattle Valley having to deal with the twist.

Even though there is plenty of conflict with the three men, especially Brian, Ms. Lynne also shows tender and heartwarming moments between Pete, Brian and Ethan both in bed and out. I know I will be reading this book over and over again and very highly recommend it to everyone.

At the Grand Falls Fire Department, brotherhood is the key to everything. It’s the glue that holds firefighters together through thick and thin. When Garrett O’Neal realizes the brotherhood he shares with his mentor and best friend could be something that fulfills the erotic fantasy he has of sharing his wife, Carrie, it begins a journey that none of them will escape without being plunged into the depths of flaming passion. A hot and intense tryst becomes so much more than just a bedtime fantasy. As the three begin to navigate the boundaries of love and desire, the fires of passion and their passion to fight fire threatens to tear the three of them apart forever.

Sometimes voicing your fantasies can come back to bite you in your behind. When Garrett O’Neal let slip that he fantasized watching another man in their bed, he discovered that the idea ramped up his wife Carrie’s reactions during their lovemaking.

But that is all it is, until he takes it one step further, inviting his best friend into their bed.

John Brenner is Garrett mentor as well as his friend, and doesn’t know what to think of the invitation. And John has a secret: he’s been attracted to Carrie since the day they met. He isn’t sure this is a good idea, but when Garrett keeps pushing, he caves in to his desires, and goes along for the ride. But has Garrett thought things through completely, covering all the things that can go wrong? Can he handle the feelings and emotions that could develop? Or will one of them get hurt in the process?

Elizabeth Moore has written a hot and steamy romance, with a thread of ‘be very careful what you wish for’ running through it. I literally could not stop reading this book; it held my attention though the whole story. I couldn’t wait to see what these three would do next, how far they would take this relationship.

Carrie loves her husband. She is a strong character, but starts off as hesitant to fall in with what her husband wants. I enjoyed watching her grow into the confident and yet submissive partner to both men, seeing the control she had over both of them. Sports that set up the thigh muscles and trains, as the endurance india viagra sports, rowing or running, are ideal for muscle building. It’s made from natural herbs with no side cost viagra effects. She became the strongest of the three, smart and sassy, and willing to reach for what she wanted.

Garrett is the impulsive and slightly too cocky husband who convinces his wife and best friend to take this chance at more. He doesn’t stop and think, and I loved watching him realize he wasn’t in control as much as he thought. I found his denial of anything he wasn’t ready to face very immature, and I liked watching him finally become the man he needed to be.

John is the sensitive and caring man in this group. He is introspective and has his doubts, but I liked the fact that he cared enough for Carrie to start off hesitant until he was sure she was on board with it all. And I loved it when he took charge from time to time, giving as good as he got.

This is one of the best firefighter stories I’ve ever read. Ms. Moore gives us a real feel for the camaraderie that is between the men in the firehouse. You can feel the sense of respect and family, and when tragedy strikes, you see them all come together in support of their own. There were two big surprises in this one, and both contribute to the very touching and wonderful, and extremely hot, happy ever after. I recommend this to all of you who love their romance on the edge, but be sure to bring the tissues, as this one can really bring on the tears, too.

With the world she’s known falling apart all around her, freedom to feel alive and cherished comes from a most unexpected source for Belle Holloway.

The newly married Roan is struggling to balance his work with his home life as he grows increasingly distracted by his husband Paris’s declining health. One case with strong emotions attached takes up most of his time: finding the murderer of a missing little rich girl. It’s a family with secrets so toxic they’d rather no one investigate, and there’s no shortage of suspects. But despite the dangers and obstructions involved, Roan won’t stop… until he loses something infinitely precious as well.

If a reader enjoyed the first in the Infected series and now has certain expectations, let me assure them that this book will not only meet them but exceeded them. I simply could not put this book down.

Once again, Roan is on a case. It’s one he didn’t want and really tried to avoid, but Matt, a character from the first book, stumbled upon something that stank of bad things and the only people he trusts is Roan and Paris to look into it. Readers won’t find quite as many bodies and hard action in this book. What I found was a very sad story about rich kids getting the short end of the stick from their families and from life in general. Ultimately, the underbelly of society has a way of reaching out and poisoning those very people that a person would think would be inured from such things.

Readers beware in this book. I found myself feeling much stronger for Roan’s character through the telling of this tale. Ms. Speed let me see into the emotions tearing at him from the inside. Previously, he was fighting an internal struggle about the lion virus inside himself and hating what and who he was. In this book, and I think a lot of credit goes to Paris for this, he’s come to terms with what he is. Oh, he has his moments and the author gave him dialogue that is all Roan. He has a particular way of plain speaking, to others and in his internal dialogue. Most of the book is told from Roan’s POV but Paris has his turn in a few places and the author certainly used it effectively and with powerful affect.

The relationship between Roan and Paris is a jewel. It’s a give and take with Paris understanding Roan’s strange quirks that would normally annoy anyone else to the point of them wanting to shoot him. There’s a dry sense of humor between them but in this book, desperation too. Also, I think this story could possibly stand on its own. I mean the mystery and suspense of this case is unique to this tale and absolutely could be read as is. However, the situation with Paris would be much better understood and emotionally felt if a reader had read Infected: Prey first. Why do I say that? Because when I opened up the first page in Infected: Bloodlines, I knew what was going to happen, had to happen, from the way Ms. Speed had set up the parameters of her world building in the first book.

I had the honor of reviewing the first story and I stated that I really wanted the author to give Paris and Roan a happily ever after despite the foreshadowing she wove into the first book. What the tiger strain virus is doing to Paris eventually comes to pass. There is no magical get out of jail free card, there can’t be and I credit Ms. Speed to sticking to the truth and honesty of her story despite my wishing that she wouldn’t. The deep emotion and love that Paris and Roan have for each other comes through from some very vibrant, strong and powerful story telling. My heart ached for Roan throughout and I just about wept with what Paris was doing behind Roan’s back in preparation for the inevitable.

The dialogue, descriptions, the characters – all of them were so well done and fleshed out and each contributed to the story keeping the plot moving, the pace brisk and my interested riveted.

And you know what? With Infected: Bloodlines, Ms. Speed is going to give Nicholas Sparks a run for his money, her writing was that good. She had me crying and blubbering by the end. The difference is, with Mr. Sparks I usually want to yell at his characters and I’m angry at how the books end. With this book, I ached, I pined; I wanted to hug Roan and save Paris but I could do neither. That final chapter was so poignant, and dramatic – if it were in the movies, it’d win an Oscar. It was the best piece of emotionally tense writing I’ve read in ages and I enthusiastically congratulate Ms. Speed on a job well done.

I wholeheartedly recommend Infected: Bloodlines for those readers that enjoy suspenseful mysteries with heart because this book has it all.

Siberians live for the thrill of the chase; wolves exist for the joy of the capture. On a foolish dare, Jasper O’Shea takes a gamble at the Last Call, letting fate chose his lover for the night.

Detective Brutus “Brutal” Ballantine came to the Last Call looking for something far different than a sly, clever Siberian Husky. Yet when the call comes over the sound system, he finds himself unable to resist the lure of laughing blue eyes and a happy tail.

The chase is on, but who is the hunter, and who is the prey?

I have found that good stories are ones that you are excited to read and they live up to your expectations, while great stories you are excited to read and by the time you finish, you are even more excited than when you started. Belinda McBride’s Last Call Europe: Black Wolf is a great story. The first thing that I wanted to do when I finished it, was read it all over again.

I think that most people, to some extent, critique the books they read as they read them. It could be as simple as thinking I would have used a different word in that sentence, a fleeting thought that is gone by the end of the page, or something more habitual that leads to writing reviews online (and partial insanity, but I digress). My point is that most books that I have read, no matter how good, generally have something that I would change about them. Not this one.

One of the things that struck me the most about Black Wolf was the tone of the book. Most shifter stories, at least the ones I’ve read, have a sense of underlying tension to them. However, Ms. McBride seems to have adapted the old telemarketers trick of answering the phone with a smile, to writing with a smile. Throughout the book, even in the dramatic scenes there was a feeling of happiness, almost playfulness at times. It was as if Ms. McBride was inviting you to have fun and enjoy the ironies of life with her. It was a welcome change to the drama and angst that I have come to associate with shifter stories. That’s not to say that Black Wolf doesn’t have its share of drama, angst or intrigue, but it is tempered with the most unexpected comedy. The combination makes for a very enjoyable read.

Brutus “Brutal” Ballantine is a truly unique shifter in the paranormal world. A black wolf shifter that is a self imposed loaner, but even the most lone wolf is still a pack animal at heart. Brutal might keep his heart well guarded but he has been searching for someone strong enough to dominate him, someone that he can trust enough to let his guard down with and simply be.

Jasper O’Shea is a siberian shifter all fun loving and frisky but with some darker aspects to his personality that keep things interesting, a small reminder that this puppy has teeth. Jasper’s personality is such a perfect counterpart to Brutal’s. On the surface their personalities are completely at odds but they complement each other so well. The entire book is chock full of contrasts between the characters, their personalities, what is perceived and what is real. I’m the first to admit I love when strong men show just a little bit of emotion so the first time that Brutal and Jasper have sex, well it’s just too good for words. Brutal’s first encounter with being dominated was so well depicted. You can really feel the gamut of emotions that Brutal goes through: the initial shock and anger, the mind-blowing orgasm, to the feelings of confusion and contentment.

As amazing as the sex was, what really struck me was what happened directly after. For the first time probably in his life Brutal is completely relaxed and at ease, at least physically, but his mind is a mess. He’s trying to come to terms with what just happened, how good it felt, what that means for him, and he’s wondering about the man who just gave him so much more than he ever experienced before or thought he ever would. This is probably the most emotionally vulnerable Brutal has ever been in his adult life. Jasper understands this and offers comfort fully expecting to be rebuffed, but he’s not. In a singularly perfect moment Brutal latches onto Jasper, accepting what is being offered to him. Of course reality intrudes again all to soon, but I think that may be my favorite moment in the book, of course it’s hard to say there are so many good moments.

This might be a small thing, but it makes such a big difference, at least to me. Ms. McBride explains the simple but very important difference between mated and bonded. I’ve heard both terms before, anyone who reads shifter stories has, most often they are used interchangeably, and while they have similar meanings they have one very important difference. Mated couples, i.e. ones of the same species and different sexes, can and do reproduce, while bonded couples, same sex couples or couples of different species, have the same emotional connection that mated couples do, they can’t reproduce. I had never really given this subject much thought before, and it wasn’t until I was reading the actual words that I felt the proverbial light bulb go off. It might be a little thing, but it is important to remember that just because you know something as the author doesn’t mean the reader does too. Besides it’s always fun to learn new things that apply to absolutely nothing in the real world.

I could go on and on, about how much I love this book. I could tell you about how fun The Last Call was, with it’s telepathic wait staff and enchanted rooms. I could tell you how I loved the symmetry of the book starting and ending on Jasper’s birthday, and all the fun things that you can do with frosting and candles. I could tell you all of that and so much more, but really you should just go and read the book yourself.

Last Call Europe: Black Wolf is a perfect balance of romance, danger, and intrigue, with some comedy thrown in at the most unexpected times. Belinda McBride takes you on a mind blowing ride that you simply have to experience for yourself.
