Alec MacQuarrie’s after-life has become an endless search for pleasure in an effort to overcome his heartbreak and despair. Wandering through the seedy world of London’s demimonde, he’s changed into a dark and fearsome creature even he doesn’t recognize until he stumbles into a magical lass he knew once upon a time and sees a glimpse of the life he could have had.

But the ton is no match for one incorrigible young lady…

After watching each of her coven sisters happily marry, Sorcha Ferguson is determined to capture a Lycan husband of her very own. When she encounters Alec, she decides to save her old friend from what he’s become, all while searching for her own happily-ever-after.

If I was a puppy, I’d be wagging my tail hard enough to knock someone down. I am excited to share the news that the youngest member of the Coig not only gets her man but the ending was simply delightful and so adorable, if it had cheeks, I’d pinch them.

Sorcha is the cute one. I’m not talking about in looks, though the hero is certainly smitten with them. I’m referring to her sunny personality. I have to give credit to Ms. Dare for her consistency. For me, that’s a major point because I’ve read many books where a reoccurring secondary character totally changes in personality, or dialogue or actions from what a reader was expecting as soon as they become the main focus. I do understand that the difference in perspective will alter the voice of the story somewhat, but I’ve been let down before – to the point where I wondered who I was reading about because certainly it’s not the same person. Ms. Dare had Sorcha be her regular, endearing and chipper self. Her innocent charm is intact and her enthusiasm for all things wolfie made me giggle numerous times. Being upbeat and an eternal optimist doesn’t mean Sorcha is a ditz, or daft or weak. She has a temper, she has courage and she has determination. She’s also intuitive at times which takes her fellow characters by surprise at interesting points in the tale.

The most entertaining element of Never Been Bit is the romance. Sorcha and Alec have known each other all their lives. They see with eyes of the past and their roles in it. But a lot has changed over the years. Both Sorcha and Alec have experienced things that made them grow up, be aware of the wider world and take a stand on certain issues, all while setting goals for their lives. The one thing they both wanted and thought unattainable ended up being found in the depths of their own hearts – in each other.

That whole process of cluelessness, awakening and then pursuit was alternately heartbreaking, hopeful and many times hilarious. Okay, a lot of it was hysterical. I had the best time reading this book because they truly were great together. I loved their dialogue with each other, the plots and plans and the things that went awry. I enjoyed watching their feelings stir and their passions flare. And I got the greatest kick out of Caitlin, one of the heroine’s best friends, and her machinations to interfere but not actually interfering. It was a delicate dance of friendship that drove Sorcha nuts. She knew that Caitlin knew something but couldn’t get a hint out of her. But you know what they say, actions speak louder than words and I’m not saying a peep more.

Unlike the previous books in the series, the main conflict and the only one that mattered was getting Sorcha and Alec together. They were their own worst enemies. The culmination was like a family reunion. Hurts were soothed, friendships were strengthened and/or renewed and a most wonderful and heartwarming happily ever after unfolded to my immense delight. There were even some unexpected surprises that tickled my fancy that made the book so much richer and well rounded. The editing was perfect, the dialogue thoroughly entertaining and the characters, both main and secondary, are great together, giving the tale a robust and natural feel to it.

Never Been Bit is saucy and dazzling with a sweet romance full of fun culminating in a sigh-worthy happily ever after. I can’t think of a better book to recommend to my friends because it’s so full of love and laughter. Of all the stories about the women of the Ciog, Sorcha’s romance is the one I liked best. I was so thrilled with Alec’s redemption and awakening. I enjoyed the heroine’s adorable quirks and her charming schemes. I think the hero and heroine make a wonderful couple and I believe the happy ever after to be a strong and solid one. My satisfaction is due to the talents of the author. Ms. Dare has written another winner and I couldn’t be happier. Readers of paranormal romance or romance in general are in for a treat because it’s just that good.

After a series of murders is discovered along the trail of the Shifter Underground, wolf soldier Jensen Tate is assigned to find and protect a missing stray. But Lia Crawford doesn’t seem to want his protection. When she eludes his watch and returns with mysterious injuries, Tate knows she’s hiding something. To discover her secrets, Tate will have to win her trust…and get closer to the woman he thinks may be his mate.

Lia has reasons to keep her distance. The killer is haunting her steps, determined to claim her. He will come after them both if he sees how drawn she is to Tate, though it becomes increasingly difficult to deny her attraction to him. Protecting Tate is vital—but will her deception cost her his love?

I’ll admit it, I was all but frothing at the mouth to read this book. I loved the first book in this series (Tempting the Enemy) with a passion I usually reserve for 85% dark chocolate, so leaped upon the opportunity to review this one the moment it was presented.

That’s a lot of pressure for any book to live up to. Thankfully, Deceiving the Protector was a really good book. I’m pretty sure I’d be happy to read Ms. Tenorio’s shopping list. Her writing is strong and descriptive and she is one of the most talented authors I’ve had the privilege to read. Her world-building skill is incredible, especially how she meshes the world we know with the world she creates and has me looking over my shoulder for the beings she says exist here.

There’s a murderer on the loose. And not just any murderer… nope. He’s killing “strays” and other shifters in a truly bloody and graphic manner. There appears to be pleasure in the killing, as well as an implied warning to other shifters: No one is safe.

Tate is sent by the Sibile to protect one particular stray, Lia, who has a treasure. That’s pretty much all he knows as he heads out to guide her to safety. Problem is, Lia wants nothing to do with him. At first, we can’t understand why. Tate is quiet, calm, safe. He oozes trustworthiness. And still, she either ignores him or snaps at him, and looks for any chance to get away.

Soon we discover why …. she has a secret that could endanger not only Tate, but the entire shifter society and the only way she believes she can protect them is to make them all just GO AWAY.

Deceiving the Protector had me constantly nervous. The villain would show up when we least expected it, leaping from the shadows, lurking around corners, the monster under the bed. Despite the slower pace of the time Lia and Tate spend together as they get to know each other and eventually fall in love, there’s always an edge of fear and worry. In a way, that dichotomy is what gave the book its strength.

Tate is every woman’s dream hero: smart, handsome, sweet, thoughtful, strong and fearless. It’s no wonder that Lia finds herself slowly giving into him. Who wouldn’t fall in love with such a man? I know I did! And Lia is a good partner for Tate, despite our worries at the beginning.

Deceiving the Protector has what it takes to make readers sit up and take notice. It has that special something that grabs hold and doesn’t let go until the last page. Readers are in for a treat that will have them thinking about it long after the last page is read. It’s so worth the time to read, and I’m looking forward to the next book. I’ll be first in line to grab a copy.

Less than a year ago, Fianna Meadows was a pampered noble in the Faerie court. Then she was exiled, turned mortal and forced to work for a living—in a werewolf bar in Detroit, no less! Still, Fianna has to admit her new life isn’t so bad…particularly when it comes to Greg Novak, the bar’s sexy owner.

For Greg, keeping his hands off Fianna has been a challenge. But his sense of honor won’t let him get involved with a woman put in his care, even if Fianna is eager to explore her new feelings of lust. Resisting the temptation to claim her gets even harder when Greg’s grandfather, the region’s Alpha, orders him to marry and Fianna agrees to pretend to be his chosen mate.

Fighting his attraction to Fianna isn’t Greg’s only problem. Someone is killing werewolves and attacking other paranormal beings in Detroit. He vows to do whatever it takes protect both his pack and Fianna—even if that means giving her up…

Suspicion and betrayal are crouched to spring upon Greg and Fianna; two secondary characters who were previously involved in the exciting action in the past two books in the Urban Arcana series. In this latest adventure, the talented Ms. Spencer Pape has thrust them into the limelight to take center stage as a mystery finally gets solved. I’ve eagerly looked forward to finding out how the author would get Greg and Fianna together. The wait was worth it.

Greg and Fianna are about to get their story book ending amidst chaos and surprises as the author wove another intricate, detailed and emotionally charged tale. I was shocked as to who one of the villains turned out to be and I felt great sadness at the loss of what I thought was a great character with HEA potential.

This book has a greater impact for readers who have followed this awesome series but by no means would a first time reader get lost. In fact, they’d have the benefit of the conclusion of the drama and the revelation of all the players. So as a standalone, it will feel complete. For those of us who have read the first two books, the disclosures will have more of a shock and awe effect. In either event, Motor City Wolf is guaranteed entertainment.

Fianna as a character has had the most growth of all the personalities in the series. She initially started out as a villainess, but in time readers discovered she was a victim; a tragic figure caught in a power mad dysfunctional family and expendable. How this woman takes the punishment and not only thrives but earns the respect of her peers in amazing scenes that tested her mettle truly made Fianna a memorable person and a real heroine. I like her as a person and definitely as a mate to Greg.

Waters run deep with the hero, Greg. Of all the people that have come and gone in this series, he has the most to lose and he does. In the same vein, if a man benefits from a relationship with his friends, his friends will want to get rid of impotency. viagra prescription price This cipla viagra generic medication has been very effective in treating stress and trauma. It might be sildenafil 100mg price ED only if the problem continues its time to get help. The purpose in considering these is to shed levitra generic some light on the application of personality psychometric assessments and to identify what they are. The author wrote so many intense scenes surrounding him or the ones he loved that I reached for tissues several times. He was a man who knew he had a destiny but he didn’t want it. Not really. But fate and Ms. Spencer Pape knew he was the alpha for the job and when push came to bite, Greg didn’t let his pack nor readers down.

There are a couple of conflicts going on. The most adorable one and my favorite is the conundrum of Greg’s attraction to Fianna and his attempt at resisting it. It was totally fun when he capitulated and it made for some steamy reading. The other darker conflict is external. Greg has to face the ultimate betrayal, the loss of someone he grudgingly admits to loving and respecting, and his becoming what he never wanted to be. The big climax and action-filled showdown was tightly written with active voice all the way. It kept me riveted and hanging in suspense and I couldn’t flip those pages fast enough.

It was great seeing all of my favorite characters from the previous books and in Motor City Wolf, they had effective supporting secondary roles that kept the story interesting and the plot moving in a natural progression. I enjoy that sense of community and Ms. Spencer Pape balanced it well.

Motor City Wolf delights and astounds. It has everything I enjoy in a romance book. It has a strong emotional hook, a sweeping and powerful romance that overcomes their initial hesitance, shocking villains, and a love that stands against the worst magic and evil beings can throw at them. I can’t imagine what Ms. Spencer Pape has next up her sleeve but I can’t wait to find out. I’m completely captivated by this world she’s built and the characters she’s populated it with. What a great imagination!

DEMETRIUS—He’s the hulking, brooding warrior even his fellow Guardians avoid. Too dark. Too damaged. And given his heritage, he knows it’s best to keep everyone at arm’s length.

Isadora is missing. The words pound through his head like a frantic drumbeat. For her own protection, Demetrius did all he could to avoid the fragile princess, his soul mate. And now she’s gone—kidnapped. To get her back, he’ll have to go to the black place in his soul he’s always shunned.

As daemons ravage the human realm and his loyalty to the Guardians is put to the ultimate test, Demetrius realizes that Isadora is stronger than anyone thought.

And finally letting her into his heart may be the only way to save them both.

Demetrius always looked for a strong, confident female to warm his bed, everything his soul mate was not. He was dark to his soul mate’s light and did not want to corrupt her so instead he stayed as far away as he could while still protecting her. That was until he found himself trapped with her with no escape. Demetrius knows it means the end of all of his hard work, and everything he held sacred.

The personal growth Isadora displayed within this story was impressive. It was done in little changes so I did not notice until I reached the end of the story and realized that the princess may look the same, but she was a completely different woman. It made me appreciate the character, and the author at the same time. Most prevalent warning buy female viagra signs are mentioned here which are reflecting insufficient sexual strength and energy. All of Isadora’s growth helped in the author’s ultimate goal. You can tell she really thought out the direction she not only wanted to story to go in, but also the series and she used every paragraph within this story to reach that goal.

The relationship development was just as significant as the personal development of the main characters. I saw the dynamic of their relationship change, and each individual characters growth into who they were meant to be. Even some relationships with minor characters grew and developed within this story. In the end I had no doubt that everyone would live together and meet any future obstacles together as a unit.

While reading this story I sometimes forgot that this was part of a series, because the story stood on its own so well. This is something I appreciated since I had not read the previous stories. The story also drummed up enough interest in the other characters that it made me want to read the stories I had missed, and want to continue to read the future stories in the Eternal Guardian series.

I absolutely adore Greek mythology and this story gave me plenty of what I wanted. It was so jam packed with mythology it reignited my love for the heritage. Others have compared this series to Sherrilynn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series and I would have to agree. Therefore, if you enjoy Sherrilyn Kenyon or Greek mythology I urge you to pick up the Eternal Guardian series you will not be disappointed.

How has beautiful, popular Amanda Smythe-Kincaid managed to reach the ripe old age of twenty-five without getting married? Could she possibly still be carrying a torch for Jason, her brother’s best friend? It’s been years since they were caught kissing in the conservatory.

Jason, the third Viscount Greyshott, has been in love with Amanda for ages. Too bad he can’t convince her of that fact, and too bad she repeatedly turns down his marriage proposals.

When Amanda asks Jason for a shocking favor, he realizes this may just be the opportunity he needs. And when fate, in the form of an exasperated older brother and some inadvertent eavesdropping, finally steps in to bring this charming Regency couple into each other’s arms—where everyone around them knows they’ve always belonged—Amanda doesn’t stand a chance.

“I bet she’ll die an old maid and never know love.” Eleven simple words can change your life forever.

Living during the regency times couldn’t have been all manners and politeness. Time is running out for these two would-be lovers. Upon learning of their true feelings for each other, their passion is ignited and it burns hot and strong. Who knew doing something so wrong could feel so right?

Hopelessly romantic and helplessly in love, Amanda Smythe-Kincaid is destined to never marry. As a young girl, she vowed to never marry unless it was for love. Jason is a brilliant, patient gentleman and Amanda is intelligent and independent. They are perfectly suited for each other, but Amanda has to have been blind not to see that Jason truly loves her. You are cordially invited to the wedding of Miss Heather Cynster . . . but not before she encounters kidnappers, danger, and a daring rescue at the hands of Viscount Breckenridge

Determined to hunt down her very own hero, one who will sweep her off her feet and into wedded bliss, and despairing of finding him in London’s staid ballrooms, Heather Cynster steps out of her safe world and boldly attends a racy soiree.

But her promising hunt is ruined by the supremely interfering Viscount Breckenridge, who whisks her out of scandal—and straight into danger, when a mysterious enemy seizes her, bundles her into a coach, and conveys her out of London.

Now it’s up to the notorious Breckenridge to prove himself the hero she’s been searching for all along . . .

Kidnapped right off the fashionable London streets and spirited away across the Scottish border. Heather Cynster is hardly a scared school room miss but even she finds the situation a bit frightening. If only she had a hero!

Author Stephanie Laurens has added a terrifically exciting new trilogy to the amazing world of the Cynster family. Heather Cynster is the oldest daughter of Lord Martin and Lady Celia Cynster. I truly enjoyed Heather! She’s intelligent, resourceful, and stubborn to a fault. While the story is centered on her kidnapping and subsequent rescue, it’s the journey that she and Breckenridge take to realize their HEA that kept me turning the virtual pages. He is the ideal hero who struggles with the need to protect the woman he comes to love and admire and an understanding of her personality to know that forcing her to bend to his will won’t win him any brownie points.

Heroines that make you proud to be a woman and heroes that have you begging for your own are a hallmark of Ms. Lauren’s writing style. The Cynster trilogies are guaranteed to be bookshelf keepers and I’ve only read the first of the three. On her website Ms. Laurens explains how the stories are stand alone in their individual romances but that they also overarch one another with a thrilling background story of the mysterious laird that seems determined to get his hands on a Cynster sister.

If you love breathtaking pictorials that sweep you into the scenes, harrowing cross country treks and a blossoming tension-filled romance between two characters clearly meant for one another then you will really enjoy Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue. The title says a lot but in the end I think they ultimately rescued each other from a life without true love. Middle sister Eliza’s story is next and we get a sneak preview of her adventure at the end of Heather’s story. It starts with a bang and much like Heather’s story it’s sure to be a “can’t miss” book.

Careful what you ask for. Shannon McKee is in ruin and she sees no way out of her living hell. Swearing an oath on a bottle of tequila, she offers her soul to whoever can get her out of overwhelming debt. Heaven and Hell have accepted the offer and each has sent a Harvester to collect their fee. Payment is due upon receipt, and no matter who gets her soul, Shannon’s not getting out of this alive.

Have you ever thrown an offhand comment out that went something like “Oh, I would sell my soul for…”? Next time you’d better think twice! At the very least make sure you specify whichever entity rules whatever afterlife world you would like to enter. Because that’s what Shannon forgot to do when, in a drunken moment, she pleaded for help with her soul as the bargaining chip. As a result, she had agents from both Heaven and Hell after her soul. I do have to say that if this is what the agents for both places are like, I might have had a good time sitting back and letting them fight over my soul. Because Michael and Liam are both…well, I guess “heavenly” wouldn’t work in this case, would it? Okay, they are both yummy!

This was such an interesting, fun and unique take on Heaven, angels and demons that it immediately grabbed me and sucked me in. Ms. Zannini packed so much into fifty-seven pages that it seemed longer but also ended much too soon. The author’s description of Heaven is both captivating and imaginative (watch for the little girl). The different types of jobs that the angels are given is an interesting concept, especially considering that Liam doesn’t feel like he’s suited for his job. You’d think the ones assigning jobs in Heaven could get it right, wouldn’t you?

All of the main characters are dynamic and full of personality. Shannon is a likable, sweet person that had the misfortune of misjudging a man. Who hasn’t done that? She got taken advantage of and now is stuck trying to figure out her life. Michael and Liam are devastatingly sexy with that old school gentlemanly charm. Even the secondary characters are fun, with little Evie, Liam’s assistant, and the butler, Wilson, nearly stealing the show. The portrayal of Gabriel was a little surprising though and not what I expected.

This book is packed with so much humor, steamy hot love scenes, sexy angelic (and devilish) men and even some whimsy that I couldn’t put it down. I’m very happy to see that this is to be part of a series and will be eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to revisit these characters.

This is a well written, fast paced, steamy tale that is sure to get your attention from page one. It reminded me somewhat of watching the movie “What Dreams May Come”, where it was fascinating and delightful to see that version of Heaven. This author will be going on my list to check out her other books – you should check her out too!

Four years ago, Amanda Stockton was forced to play a serial killer’s twisted game of chance. Since then, she has retreated from the world, bearing the scar from her ordeal and the burden of a terrible secret. But when another woman is found dead, clutching a long-stemmed red rose, Amanda knows she can hide no longer.

If there were any other way, Chief Logan Richards would never ask the only surviving victim for help. But it’s clear this killer will not be stopped and Amanda is the only link. Torn between catching a madman and winning the trust of the woman he’s come to love, Logan is caught in a dangerous game with Amanda. And there’s no guarantee they’ll come out on top.

He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not is absolutely gripping.

The novel opened with a chilling account of the serial killer positioning the body of his latest victim. Even more distressing, Ms. Diaz hinted that the killer is someone in law enforcement. I love a good mystery and was hooked instantly. I had to discover the killer’s identity and how he would be caught. Ms. Diaz created a sense of urgency that had me racing through the pages seeking the answers.

Ms. Diaz certainly knows her way around a good mystery. The list of suspects was small. I was constantly evaluating and reevaluating several of the secondary characters wondering if their pleasant demeanor was merely a mask hiding a killer. Ms. Diaz left tantalizing clues throughout the story, and I was able to piece some of them together. However, I can honestly say I was surprised when the last piece of the puzzle clicked into place.

Amanda is easily one of the strongest heroines I’ve had the pleasure of reading about. After facing the serial killer years ago, Amanda’s physical injuries have healed, but her emotional and mental wounds are still bleeding. I admire the courage it took for her to agree to help the police. As if facing the nemesis of her past wasn’t enough, Amanda also finds herself falling in love with Logan. Ms. On the other hand, men enjoy strap ons levitra 60 mg too. It also improves the endurance to last longer in generico levitra on line bed and satisfy her with mesmerizing sexual pleasure. However, the researchers during the trials of the active ingredient found that that Sildenafil Citrate displays great guarantee as a cure pop over here buy generic levitra for erectile dysfunction, then you should check out Kamagra. Usually the two methods are used together to on line cialis icks.org achieve the satisfactory climax. Diaz did an excellent job of depicting Amanda’s desire for Logan as well as her fear of being vulnerable. As Amanda and Logan explore their feelings for each other, it was a pleasure watching Amanda’s wounds begin to heal.

Logan is the perfect hero for Amanda. He’s strong, caring, protective, and loyal. Despite his tough exterior, Logan has some scars of his own. He made a terrible mistake when he was a rookie cop that still haunts him. Logan is determined to never make a mistake on the job again. His drive is certainly admirable, but his single minded focus blinds him to the simple pleasures in life, including Amanda’s obvious affection for him. Logan and Amanda had some truly tender moments, but they also had some bitter arguments stemming from their stubborn streaks. I found myself wanting to smack both of them at times. Logan and Amanda were talking to each other, but neither was really hearing what the other had to say. The push and pull of their dynamic relationship added an interesting dimension to the story that was every bit as compelling as the mystery Logan was trying to solve.

In addition to weaving an excellent mystery and creating well rounded characters, Ms. Diaz also made excellent use of descriptive language. “The sweet music of her screams echoed in his mind as he inhaled the lavender-scented shampoo he‘d selected for her. He sat cross-legged on the carpet of pine needles, stroking her hair, his fingers sliding easily through the silky brown mass he had washed and brushed.” After reading these two sentences, I had goose bumps. The crimes of the serial killer are truly gruesome, and it would have been easy to go over the top with the description of his atrocities. However, Ms. Diaz did a great job of providing just enough detail to make the hair on the back of my neck stand up, but stopped short of revealing so much that I felt sick. It is a fine line that Ms. Diaz walked very well.

I’m so glad I had the opportunity to read He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not. The characters are well rounded, the romance is spicy, and the mystery is riveting. I highly recommend He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not to fans of romantic suspense.
