I love managing the sexy Dallas boutique Red Light Lingerie—talking to people about sex, toys and bedroom wear. One of my favorite erotic benefits? My boss, Maxwell Penn, is a Matthew McConaughey lookalike—but with a hot British accent. Okay, he can be domineering and I spend most of my time on the clock fluctuating between “I want to bed him” and “I want to strangle him.” But still…yum.

Tonight, however, everything will change.

An old friend of Max’s from Britain, a lingerie designer, has flown in to show Max a couple of possible pieces for our new Risqué line of bedroom wear—but their model canceled. Can you see where this is going? Yep. I go from manager to model, and before I can say G-string, this spur-of-the-moment modeling gig ignites in passion and little ol’ me finds herself sandwiched between Max and his dark-n-sexy best friend.

I’d be in heaven if it wasn’t for the guilt swirling in Max’s blue eyes. But guilt for what?

Embrace life, relinquish the pain, and find more love than you could ever hope for. Ms. Evans’ Lust Lace and Lingerie is one of the most emotionally honest books I’ve read in a long time. Her characters have more compassion and understanding than can be found in real life sometimes, and her story while achingly sad is also so very real.

This was a challenging review to write, which was very apropos since it was a challenging book to read. That’s not to say it was bad — just the opposite. In fact, this book was rather amazing. It just happens to discuss some very serious subject matters, as well as containing sexual and lifestyle practices that as a rule I don’t read, mainly open relationships and a F/F scene. So you’re probably wondering why I set myself up for such an exacting task when it would have been so much easier to let someone else review the book, preferable someone who enjoys those aspects that I don’t. Well, the fact of the matter is, despite my misgivings I couldn’t put this book down. Ms. Evans’ characters are incredible, they are open and compassionate and real, and the story itself was honest and compelling.

Like Bree, open relationships are not something that I know much about, so we learned together. What I found was that at the core, like with any relationship, there needs to be love, trust, and honesty. Without these three things your relationship, no matter how you might define it, is doomed. Ms. There are numerous explanations behind buy online cialis , notwithstanding, the one that this medicine is the most noted for its certain weakness issues treating capacity. But they are probably unaware that almost every second man faces cheap levitra erectile dysfunction as it has become a very easily accessible to everyone on this planet earth and so is the case with this medicine. Evans shows both sides of the coin, so to speak.

First with Max and Gina, we are shown how destructive a relationship can be when there is no trust, no honesty, and how quickly that love can be twisted into something else. The scars Max bears from that relationship are deep and slow to heal. On the flip side there is Garrett and Karen who have been happily married for 15 years. Their love and commitment to each other is something that Bree and Max have also found in each other. While it might take Max a while to completely heal, Bree is just the one to help him do it.

Having never been a fan of the gold band diamond solitaire, I think the tattoos Garrett and Karen have instead of rings is brilliant. Every relationship is different, and so should the symbols be that represent that relationship. For a couple that is so outside of what society would deep appropriate I think personalized tattoos are a much better choice that something as ordinary as rings. It’s not just for the sake of being different, their reasons for not having the rings fit with not only their lifestyle, but who they are as a couple and individuals.

I mentioned earlier that Ms. Evans talks about some very serious subjects, but I don’t want to give any spoilers by saying what they are. However, I do want to say that like all other aspects of this book she speaks with great comprehension, and compassion. She doesn’t shy away from the less than pleasant aspects of life, but rather embraces them allowing the reader to see the kind of pain that life inflicts, that people inflict on each other and ourselves. It is only by acknowledging this pain and suffering that we are able to truly appreciate how special and rare love is.

The courtship of Bree by Max is anything but typical, but the more time they spend together the more you see that they are right for each other and perhaps more importantly they are good for each other. When I first met Max I didn’t like him all that much, he was too brusque and oh so British, in that condescending superior way, I completely understood Bree’s desire to slap him. While part of that is his personality, a larger part was Max simply trying to protect himself. He had been hurt so badly and didn’t want it to happen again. It was a refreshing change of pace to have a man be vulnerable and the woman to be the strong one to help him thru.

Lust, Lace & Lingerie is a dark and compelling journey that takes you from the depths of guilt to the redemption that only love can provide. Ms. Evans has created characters so real it feels as if you could meet them walking down the street.

Tia is of mixed blood, a human and shapeshifter. She is stronger and faster than other women and has joined a band of rebels to put her extra-human abilities to use. Now she has been sent into enemy territory to seek and destroy a toxic substance, but something goes terribly wrong.

During the mission, Tia is captured by Inuku, the general of the enemy’s warriors. Tia knows she should hate him, but she has seen this massive shifter in her dreams. She recalls with exquisite detail the feel of his hands and mouth on her body. Try as she might, Tia cannot stop herself from responding to Inuku. Just being near him makes her skin burn for his touch. Would he command her body the way he commands his warriors?

The longer she’s around him, the more desperate she is to find out. When things become heated, in more ways than one, Tia has to decide between her desire to escape the enemy and her increasingly powerful desire for Inuku.

I hadn’t read anything by Kama Spice before Tia’s War, so my delight with the beauty and richness of the exotic world and characters within was genuine and appreciative!

In Tia’s world, a war is raging. She is a ‘conditioned’ soldier; a Stealth Blade band leader of the human resistance rebels, fighting to rid the human territories of the blood-lusting, shape-shifting Lith’hah beasts.

At least that’s the propaganda she’s grown up with, believes in and is committed to defending the human race from…

Although pronounced a perfectly normal human being as a child, Tia feels an abnormality growing within. The characters are wonderful; richly vivid and completely captivating!
I adored Inuku, Tia’s proud catman shape-shifter, descended from Siberian cats and General of the Lith’han army. He’s every inch the alpha warrior; his absolute presence, command and grace virtually leaps at you from right off the page! He and Tia have a smoldering passion that is as powerful and all encompassing, as it is ethereal. It’s beautifully detailed, bold and dramatic.

I loved the feel of this story. It’s different. It has a unique style, a haunting quality that is erotic and exotic, and gives a new spin on the often repetitive shape-shifter romances. There’s a depth to the story, despite its relatively short length. It’s well developed, absorbing and satisfying to the very end.

I couldn’t help but wonder if there might be more? It would make a wonderful series, as there are so many characters in here that deserve to have their stories told too! The key to sun, sand, and sin is total surrender…

Hot in the City, Book 3

Carrie Marsh is on her Key West honeymoon—alone. After discovering her fiancé fooling around with a bridesmaid on her wedding day, she figures the trip will help her clear her head and move on. But she doesn’t expect inspiration to appear in the form of a tan, sexy boat captain ready to introduce her to the island’s legendary, free-spirited debauchery.

Carrie isn’t the first beach bunny that hard-working, harder-playing Chris McCann has partied with, but peeling away her innocence to find her inner bad girl affects him like no one has before. Her sexual awakening burns hotter than the Key West sun, melting his resistance and incinerating any hope he has of keeping their relationship casual.

All too soon, Carrie’s return to reality is a plane ride away and neither of them is ready for the fantasy to end. But Carrie has a business to return to, and Chris’s livelihood is on the island. And besides, Carrie is just beginning to recover from the wedding that wasn’t, and Chris isn’t a settling-down kind of guy. So it only makes sense to leave the sun, sand, and sensuality of the island behind. But can she walk away from her hedonistic week with Chris without looking back?

This book is Hot, Hot, Hot!

The opening starts like many romance stories: jilted bride goes on honeymoon anyway, and decides to have a good time. Where it goes from there is the realm of Lacey Alexander’s very fertile imagination. But in reality the fact was that the product was an instant success, but it was the second straight year that the generic cialis online award went to a quarterback. One major explanation is that these male improving supplements deliver amazing results that enhance the viagra tablets usa size and enhance sexual lifeual performance in bed. Since every treatment is recommended after diagnosing the problem, therefore, one has to consult healthcare provider best prices on viagra as soon as possible. So on line levitra these two factors probably are the most important. There is a little bit of something for everyone in this book. At its heart, it is a m/f romance, but Carrie decides to “relax” and try new experiences, so the reader is treated to encounters including all varieties and combinations of partners.

I enjoyed the fact that while Carrie was on vacation, Chris and his friends all worked, and plans had to be made around their work schedules. This made it seem a bit more realistic. I also enjoyed the fact that they visited the Hemmingway museum. Not only did it add depth to Carrie’s character, it also provided a “respite” from the almost constant sex.

In fact, if I have a negative comment about this story, it is the amount of sex in the book. At times, it almost seems too much, and I looked forward to the sections of the story where Carrie was worrying about her feelings for Chris and what she would do when she went home. It also would have been nice if I could have put the book down from time to time, in order to give myself a little break from the constant sexual interactions. Having said that, I need to add – what a problem to have!

This book is NOT for the faint of heart. However, if you want a story that is so hot you need to put your e-reader down for fear of it spontaneously combusting – download it today!

The man won the hand, but the women changed the rules.

Bound and Tied, Book 2

Cowgirl KC Matheson is fresh out of ideas. Thanks to her father’s unlucky poker hand, her family is about to lose their ranch. Desperate to entice the winner to let her family keep their home, KC appeals to a sensual stranger, Rosalyn, to help awaken her inner vixen. A vixen with the womanly skills to make a deal with the devil.

Sent to fetch a companion for his partner’s pregnant wife, miner Jake Thompson never thought luck could change this fast. First, his royal flush lands him a ranch. Then a punch in the face. Now the rancher’s daughter, a woman with a body made for sin, is trying to seduce him into giving up his winnings. Jake has a better idea: her for the ranch. And to ensure she makes good on the bargain, there’s a catch—she has to keep his interest, or the deal is off.

The three set off on the two-day trek to Jake’s claim, experiencing wondrous delights in the cool mountain air. Then reality sets in, leaving Jake saddled with a mail-order bride, a deflowered virgin, and an unexpected desire to make things right with KC…forever.

Duty Bound is the second book in Myla Jackson’s Bound and Tied series. It is a historical, set in the mining town of Idaho Falls in 1860.

Thanks to a lucky poker hand, miner Jake Thompson is now the proud new owner of a Texas ranch. What he’s going to do with a ranch, he has no idea: he’s a miner, half owner of a claim with his partner Zach.

When a young boy punches Jake out because of the win, he tries to come up with a plan on what to do with the unwanted property. When the owner’s lovely daughter, KC Matheson, offers herself to Jake in exchange for the family ranch and the money Jake won, he has to make a decision.

KC has never been a girly girl; she’s the oldest of seven girls, and a ranch hand of some expertise. Zach Braun and his pregnant wife Honor have sent for a companion for Honor to help during her pregnancy, and KC turns to this woman, Rosalyn, for lesson in how to be a woman. Rosalyn is everything KC isn’t: soft, feminine and sensuous, and has the experience to help KC convince Jake to accept her offer.

Rosalyn is running from something, but she agrees to help, and the lessons quickly become so much more, as Rosalyn plays the seducer, under the guise of lessons. Once they are on the trail headed for the mine, things heat up between all three and before long, KC becomes a woman in the true sense of the word. When Jake realizes what he has done, he is ashamed and pulls away from KC, causing her much heartache. Can Jake convince KC to stay, after what he did? Will Rosalyn stay at the mine to help when Honor has the baby? What will happen when all the secrets are finally revealed?

I want to be honest and say I don’t usually read historicals, but this may change if I can get them with the quality and romance Ms. Male impotence is sildenafil generic india a man problem. Fiber is imperative devensec.com pfizer viagra australia to our digestive health so the high fiber along with the rich nutrition and antioxidant content of these berries add to a improved digestive system. Solely cialis rx the colour is totally different. it’s found in 2 forms-tablet and jelly. Jackson has put in this one. I liked the diversity in the three main characters, and how they each filled a need in the others.

KC Matheson is a sassy, independent female. She has been working on her father’s ranch her whole life, and hasn’t got a single feminine wile in her body in the beginning. I enjoyed watching her decide she would do whatever it took to save her family’s ranch–even give herself to a stranger. Her awakening at the hands, and mouth, of the sensuous and beautiful Rosalyn is intriguing, and very hot. I enjoyed watching as she blossomed into a young woman, on the edge of awakening her passion.

Rosalyn is beautiful, sensuous and experience, and very feminine; everything that KC is not. I loved watching her seduce KC, and teach her what pleasure was, and gaining her own pleasure along with it. She was honest about her needs, an unusual attitude in that time period. But Rosalyn is running, from what or who, we never really learn. I loved when she realized that Jake and KC were perfect together, and what she did to make it happen was delicious.

Jake is a strong, rough and honorable man. He had plans to return the ranch, even before KC hatched her plan, but realized he would need to work with KC to help both her father and KC herself save their pride. He is almost destroyed when he realizes that the woman he made love to with such passion was a virgin, and his guilt drives a wedge between them, until he comes up with a way to make it right.

The passion between the three main characters is hot beyond belief. The scenes when Rosalyn is ‘instructing’ KC in the finer points of seduction are hot beyond belief. It is never crude or ugly, and I loved the way Rosalyn was always empowering KC to become stronger and yet more feminine. My favorite scene is also the one that causes the rift between Jake and KC: the seduction on the trail when Jake ‘deflowers’ KC, not realizing she is still an innocent in spite of her words to the contrary.

There are a couple of humorous twists in this one, and there is a wonderful happy ever after for Jake and KC. I hope that, somewhere down the road, Ms. Jackson will give Rosalyn her own story so she can find her heart’s desire. I think those who like western romance with heat will love this one.

Man-gods born to live and love forever, the Lords of Satyr are renowned for their sexual prowess…and unquenchable lust…

Call My Name

The forum excavations in Rome go on, directed by the iron-willed, charismatic Lord Bastian Satyr. Out of nowhere, a mysterious, haunting voice calls out to him…and lures him to the site of a long-vanished temple, where vestal virgins once performed rites of erotic surrender. The temple is the find of his career, but his heart is about to face the unknown…

Michaela is a pure Ephemeral. She can enter the bodies of others—and become any woman a man might wish to possess. His choice is her pleasure. And the commanding and utterly virile Bastian is the only man she desires…

Elizabeth Amber has created a world of fantasy, based in the old religions and histories of Europe and Rome. The rich textures of this world are fascinating, and the mix of real history and fantasy are so well combined to draw the reader into the story.

Michaela and Silvia were best friends for untold centuries, until Michaela chooses to become mortal for the man she loves.

Raised in the temple of Vesta, Silvia is one of the Vestal Virgins, while Michaela becomes a Companion, trained to pleasure the dignitaries of Elseworld, and traveling Earthside on occasion. There she falls in love with Bastian Satyr, eldest of the second generation of the Lords of Satyr, and chooses to leave the life of an Ephemeral to become mortal for him. But she retains her ties to her friend, and when Michaela is murdered by an ogre sent by the evil Pontifex, Silvia takes her body as host, for that is the only way she can honor her friends last wishes, to lay with Bastian once more at Moonful. And although all Silvia knows of sex and passion is what was given her at Michaela’s hands, she has fallen under Bastian’s spell herself, and is beginning to love the man he is. Because she is an Ephemeral, Silvia can take on the body of one near death to become fully solid, but only for a limited period.

As she spends time with Bastian, first as a twelve year old ragamuffin, then as Michaela, she grows ever more conflicted at what she must do: find the six firestones from the ruined temple and return to Elseworld to try and free the nine Vestal imprisoned there. Can Silvia let herself love and be loved for who she is, or will she forever long for what Bastian can offer her? Can Bastian save her in time to start a new life with her? Will Silvia ever give him the one thing she has kept from him-her name?

I will admit that I found this book a little slow going at first, but soon became enthralled by the story of betrayal and salvation unfolding in Silvia’s story. And make no mistake about it-this is Silvia’s story just as much as it is Bastian’s. The retelling of Silvia and Michaela’s backstory is illuminating, if at times quite tragic, but gives an insight into Silvia’s actions.

Silvia is a wonderful character. Strong and determined to achieve her goals, she is shocked to find herself falling for Bastian. Thus, discussion with a spe generic cialis canadiant is required if a patient is suffering from ED, a medical professional will usually conduct a morning blood test to determine the cause of testosterone deficiency. Additional flow studies can be used to identify abnormalities in the kidneys and generic viagra online the bladder. And as Michaela’s most loyal friend, she denies the attraction, even to herself. I enjoyed watching her move from host to host, taking those characters as her own, and trying to fulfill the death wish of that host at each turn. Whether male or female, she gains a bit from each host, and has become very adept at what she does. Sensuous yet innocent, Silvia is a marvelous mix of any personalities combined. I like that she refuses to be deterred from her goal of freeing her fellow Ephemerals held captive by the evil Pontifex, even if it means giving up any happiness she could have with Bastian.

Bastian is the perfect image of the hero. Tall, dark and exceedingly virile, he is the ideal every woman seeks, but rarely finds. I liked that he isn’t perfect, however, and his small flaws make him more attractive overall. I loved the irony of a man whose family is in the wine industry being unable to touch liquor in any for without disastrous effects. As a very successful excavator and archaeologist, he has hidden the fact of his colorblindness from everyone. I loved that it was only through Silvia that he gained the colors in his vision, and thus always knew her, no matter what form she came to him in once he realized the cause. And I loved that he was willing to love and accept her, no matter what form she took, male or female.

This is a story filled with danger, for both Silvia and Bastian. Bastian is seeking the very same stones that Silvia is, but for a different reason. He believes, and rightly so, that the six stones on the Earth side are keeping the existence of ‘other kind’ hidden from the humans, and fears what could happen if the stones leave earth for the Elseworld. Will these two ever be able to be together, and love each other as who they really are? You must read Bastian to find the answer to that. I promise you, it is worth the trip.

When Aiden, Lord Severn, catches her kissing her closest girlfriend, Faith, he offers to show the two of them one afternoon’s worth of erotic delights.

Aiden is intrigued with Sabine, her wantonness, her desire to experience life, even the protection and love she shows her friend. One afternoon isn’t enough, but she’s promised to another. Intent on having her, Aiden sets out to destroy the other man and have Sabine to himself.

Faith has always loved Sabine, and with her impending marriage knows she’ll never have the chance to show her closest friend just how much. Jumping at Aiden’s offer of an afternoon together, she realizes she can’t give up Sabine. Vowing to do whatever it takes to keep her friend happy and sated, Faith doesn’t imagine the danger their happy threesome will stir…

Wickedly Wanton is an exciting and page-scorching trip back into the past, giving the nickname of Jolly Ol’ England quite another meaning completely.

Sabine Stanton tries desperately to be all that she was reared to be: prim, proper, and demure. However, in the privacy of her own thoughts, she’s anything but. Sabine is full of zest for life, learning and adventure, something that was heavily frowned upon in Regency England. However, Sabine does a great job of finding that perfect balance between keeping up appearances (and thus keeping her family’s reputation pristine) and crossing the line (enabling her complete enjoyment), making her a more complex character than you first suspect. Stories with an historical setting that have such a wild heroine tend to draw my attention simply because you don’t expect the heroine to be anything other than what you expect from history class. Faith is a more typical female from this era. She’s meek and obedient and yet, she’s also hiding a deep, dark secret. She’s attracted to Sabine, and only Sabine. Faced with her impending marriage, she trusts in both her best friend, Sabine, and Aiden to show her the way. I liked Faith a lot and really would like to know more about what happens with her after the end of the story as her position intrigued me. She made the perfect companion for Sabine, both while acting as her enabler at times and as her voice of reason at others.

Aiden Merryck is the Marquess of Severn and an eternal playboy. Dedicated to enjoying himself in any manner available, he is at once surprised and intrigued by Sabine’s wantonness and beauty. For wild and uncontrollable Sabine, he’s firm and dominant, molding her to his ways while allowing her to still be herself. In turn, they each satisfy a half of him that he never really new needed tending.

Having read the previous book, The Major’s Wife, which is the story of Lucy’s mother and father, this was a welcome journey. Lucretia Lucinda Grant and Black Eagle Grant were very strong and compelling characters who went through horrendous trials and tribulations to come out on the other side in their own happily ever after. The story of their daughter continues their love story while introducing you to a whole new generation.

One kiss might save her, but if Rosemary has to lose even one of her men, she doesn’t want a prince.

The only role of Rosemary’s nest of men is to feed her insatiable hunger for lust, but that’s not what she wants for them. Or what they want from her. While Rosemary presses for them to live their own lives, they each find ways to steal into her heart. With the threat of her mother’s nest hanging over them, Rosemary decides to surrender to the love they offer and focus on building their combined strength to stand against the inevitable attacks.

When her control over her powers slips, another problem arises. The nest is incomplete. A prince must be chosen, and if he is not among her men, she’ll be forced to let one of them go.

She once feared her heart wasn’t big enough to hold them all. Now she fears she’s not strong enough to release even one. Even if it costs her her life.

Rosemary just wants to go to college, become a Veterinarian, and lead a normal life like everyone else… well that’s if normal includes a nest of willing men who cater to your every sexual need. You see, Rosemary isn’t exactly a normal girl because she’s also a succubus and one in which sexual contact is necessary for her everyday survival.

In order to become a true queen of her nest and gain control of her growing powers she must find a prince, the one man who can resist her seduction. Rosemary wants nothing more at this point then for her men to lead as normal lives as possible, which means no getting attached – easier said than done. She holds herself back from them and refuses to allow any other sort of intimacy, other than what’s played out in the bedroom, to occur. This way if she loses them or they lose her the loss is not felt as deeply, especially when she’s constantly looking over her shoulder for an evil mother who wants her dead. Unfortunately, her nest sees right through the emotional walls she’s trying to build and they’ve decided a sacrifice will be made.

Ms. Sommerland packs elements of almost every major fairytale into this story but adds an erotic and emotional twist. All of the characters, especially the men, were written with distinct personalities and given their own small spotlight into the story at certain points. It gave me a nice connection to each of the men, which then gives Rosemary’s dilemma more believability.

The sexual encounters are very arousing and done with a nice balance of both lust and love between the characters with the exception of a couple scenes. The story is pleasantly paced, but the world building felt a little lacking. Very interesting for what was there, but I found myself with more questions than answers about why and how things came to be.

Even so, I would definitely recommend this story to readers who like fantasy with an edge of suspense and plenty of hot lovin’.

Rachel gave up seeking a Master years ago. After a failed marriage and terrible tragedy, she’s walled her soul against going down that dangerous path again. Then Jon joins her yoga class. He’s thirteen years younger than she, but his Dominant nature threatens her shields from the moment she recognizes it. Not only does he understand what her body wants—he knows what her soul craves.

Part of the five-man executive team of Kensington & Associates, Jon uses his calm, philosophical nature to defuse volatile acquisition negotiations. He can compel opponents to willingly surrender when he draws the sword that closes the deal. As a sexual Dominant, he employs that same expertise. A spiritually driven Master who enjoys connecting with a woman’s soul, he wins her utter submission with his skills. But with Rachel, it goes beyond that. She’s the submissive his own soul has always hungered to have, and he won’t hesitate to use his talents, as well as that of the other four K&A men, to claim her.

Rachel’s story is one that will pull at even the toughest heart strings. It was obvious to me from the beginning why no ordinary relationship would work for her. She needed a man who would help build up what her ex-husband tore down so she could become the confident woman she deserved to be. Everything about her screamed submissive and she doesn’t need just any dominant to accomplish this — she needed Jon.

I have a feeling that anyone would submit to Jon. The author did a great job displaying his strength without making him harsh. As a reader I found myself wanting to do whatever he demanded along with Rachel; that is how much power he wields. His character had me asking myself if men like him really exist and if so where can they be found? Even better? Jon isn’t the only dom in this series — there are five of them.

This story has a strong yoga/tantric/Buddhism element to it. This helped to demonstrate why Jon was so comfortable with who he is and how he lived his life. Rachel also respects and follows the same beliefs so it helped with the relationship development also. I will say that the author gets pretty technical when it comes to the various yoga positions, which became occasionally bothersome — since I am not a follower of the belief I couldn’t fully understand what was going on. I do however think that this belief increased the story and enhanced the BDSM element of the story.

This BDSM story has an intense D/s element to it. So even when Rachel does not know or want to admit what she needs, Jon is there to show her. That is the reason I labeled this a forced seduction. This was not done in a malicious or hurtful way, just a men giving a woman what she needs. There is also a lot of petting and foreplay between various characters, but actual penetration is left for Rachel’s master. Many of these encounters are almost more about reassurance than sex.

This was a very sweet story that should touch anyone’s soul. Sex and sexuality play a large role in this story, but it is always intimate, emotional and something that should be cherished. Even when more than one party is involved you can see the caring and love coming from all participants. It is a nice mixture that left every part of my body feeling warm and tingly.

I have read stories that have left me envious of the relationship and love a couple share, but none as deeply as this story. Fabulous.
