A new Interplanetary Alliance ambassador on an earthbound mission. A handful of genetically altered humans to be rescued. Meeting her changed everything.

Twenty-four-year-old Zoey doesn’t have the time to mope over her recent breakup and deal with the royal mess that is heartbreak. Not when she learns she has alien genetic enhancements and powers beyond her control.

And who delivered the news? Her odd, yet attractive downstairs neighbor, Jasper… the New Interplanetary Alliance ambassador.

Before being terminated, their former Interplanetary ambassador, Etienne derailed and teamed up with Professor Trenton Beck in a rogue plan that doesn’t sit well with the universe.

Jasper’s mission on Earth was clear: capture the fugitive scientist responsible for the genetic alteration and retrieve the remaining altered survivors.

And, unless you are in a situation in which you can viagra spain discover here definitely give a boost to your low sexual life. Tadalafil may be a restricted and unsafe use cialis without prescriptions uk in these infected conditions.
But now, there’s Zoey.

Some people aren’t what they seem.

Zoey, the heroine, is changed, and she had no idea how. How would she know she’d been abducted by aliens? Sam and Emma are brought into the mess, not because they were changed, but because Sam was kidnapped by the scientist’s protegee, Trenton Beck. There are plenty of characters to keep track of, but each one is memorable, so it’s not a problem.

I found this to be an interesting story, something I don’t run across all the time. I love the characters’ personalities; each one is different but they are all strong, willing to sacrifice everything to protect the ones they love and the Earth they live on. Zoey is the main character and it shows. Sam is outgoing and quick to defend those she loves. She may not have any extra sensory abilities, but she is strong and smart. Emma is brave and a leader. She hits it off with Alex, their resident geek, and learns as much as she can. She is also the mother of the group.

Then there are the Opts: Jasper who is the ambassador who is warm and stern at the same time. He and Zoey have a connection from the moment they met. One of my favorite characters was Lulu, who is the leader, and a fighter. She is the one who knows the most about Earth culture and tought the rest. She is incredibly smart, sassy, and funny. She is the one that helps the women adjust to what is going on.

Then there is the romance between Rufus and Mia, that had been developed under horrendous circumstances, when they were being trained and held captive by Beck. They are so devoted to each other and when they are separated I could feel the pain.

I love the relationship between Zoey and Jasper. It is obvious they love each other but Jasper keeps pushing back. It is against regulations to fall in love with a person from the planet they were staying on. He has to battle his feelings against his duty. Love is a major emotion that is prevalent throughout the book.

The beginning is a tad slow, but once I got past a certain point, things start happening fast. Also, the author switches between different points of view, and I found it jarring in a few sections to figure out who is talking. I also think it rushes a little too fast towards the end, and it left me a tad bit confused. Maybe a slower pacing near the end would have been better.

Other than those few quirks, this was a good read. The characters were so personable, the plot engrossing and the abilities fun to see. The romance is sweet and there seems there could be more, so I’ll have to wait for the sequel to see what happens. If you are into sci-fi, love aliens with great abilities, and strong women, I definitely recommend this book.

Justin is a Mixed Martial Arts instructor who has been enlisted by the ruling Mohawk Matriarchs to help protect the most vulnerable women in their community. Since then he has devoted his life to empowering women.

Marie is a free-spirited aircraft mechanic determined to live life to the fullest. And she’s Justin’s student.

Justin is the best martial arts instructor Marie has ever had. He is also the subject of her raunchy sexual fantasies. Unfettered by the traditional roles of women in society, she’s unafraid to show Justin what she wants, but he’s having none of it.

After Justin saves her from being attacked, Marie realizes her feelings go deeper than sexual attraction alone. She knows that Justin is reluctant to have sex with a student but pursues him brazenly nonetheless. But she doesn’t know that Justin is guarded for another reason: he is able to call up the Shadow of the Leopard, a mysterious force that once led him to kill two cops.

As the attraction between them intensifies, Justin is forced to make a decision: keep walking the tightrope he is on, or surrender to Marie and risk putting the school in jeopardy or even worse….

In this short story we get to meet Marie and Justin, two people who love to do martial arts. Justin owns his own martial arts business where Marie is a student. He teaches a self-defense class for women, along with teaching the police. Marie is one of his best students and the connection between them is hot and fast. He does have one fear that holds him back, he has a wild panther that lives inside him that can be extremely violent if let loose.

I like how Marie is such a spunky character, strong and more then capable to take care of herself. It shows that women can be as strong as a man. I also fell in love with Justin. I would learn from him anytime.

The romance between is so thick you could cut it with a knife. One thing that is keeping them apart is Justin’s morals, he does not sleep with his students. I appreciate that line of reasoning, even though it drives poor Marie crazy. She wants him so bad that she is at the end of her rope. She is a stubborn woman though, and with help from her friend Monica she bags her man.

One thing that I did not like is the descriptions of the characters’ bountiful anatomy. To me those are unnecessary details that didn’t add anything to the story and really brought me out of the story.

I enjoyed the two romances between them, and wish the book was a little longer so we could see their relationship develop. This is a lovely book to snuggle up with in winter. If you love Martial Arts, strong spunky women, and a man that is that every woman would love, this book will work for you.

What’s a future duke to do when the most unsuitable woman possible captures his heart?

Eden had tried to avoid even a hint of scandal her whole life.

Plowing headlong into the Marquis of Sterling and dropping eggs on his boots wasn’t the most foolish thing Eden Haverden had ever done. Imprudently agreeing to take the charming rogue home when his horse went lame wasn’t either. But reluctantly accepting Chester’s invitation to stay the night at his familial estate after she nearly drowned? Yes, that assuredly was a rash decision and invited utter ruin. So why doesn’t she listen to her common sense?

The DeCourcy sins have haunted Chester his entire life.

Determined to create a new legacy for the tainted duchy, Manchester’s every action and decision are governed by diligence and discipline. A man of reason and purpose, he should not be distracted by the wholly unsuitable Eden Haverden. Not only is she the illegitimate offspring of his father’s arch enemy, she’s also the sister of the man who’d killed his brother. Why then, can’t he resist the powerful connection between them?

Can Chester convince Eden to put aside their families’ feud and trust him with her heart and l

Manchester (Chester), Marquis of Sterling is dragged back home as he was advised that his father was in very poor health. He has a volatile relationship with is father, since his father blames Manchester for the death of his older son, Byron. While wasting time at the inn, he literally runs into a young woman who takes his breath away. Eglantina, who goes by her middle name, Eden. She is the bastard daughter of a local gentry man, and doesn’t fit in any of the different classes; she is not quite a noble nor is she a commoner. Quite the pair, huh?

I absolutely loved the character of Eden, she is quirky and does not follow common mores of dress. She has such a heart of gold, as she takes in any stray that walks her way. She is also such a strong character, ignoring the normal way a woman is supposed to act in this time period. Chester is also a wonderful character, as he fights the temper and imprudence that haunts his family. They have not had good reputation in quite a time, and his father is not helping the situation.

The author does a great job of showing the difference between Chester and his elder brother Byron. He also had the strength to defy his father and marries for love instead of following his father’s plan. I love the interactions between Eden and Chester, there is passion and tenderness. He does everything he can to help Eden and her mother, taking them in and caring for them and the the animals that Eden owned. The passion was sweet and heated at the same time, which makes Eden fight harder. She does not want to end up as her mother. Chester is working hard to show is a different type of man.

The only thing that I wish could have been done is to make the courtship a little longer. They meet, fall in love and the next thing you know they are living together.

All in all, this was a great read with great characters and a wonderful plot line. I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re drawn into their world like I was and felt what the two lovers felt, too.

When her date bails on her, Tara decides she’s had it with men. On her way home from the disastrous date, she hits a large dog with her car. There’s no question she’s keeping him. After all, dogs are faithful—unlike the men in her life.

Max is on the run after he and his alpha escape a violent coup. Exhausted, he doesn’t see the car until it’s too late, but he does see the woman who mistakenly believes he’s a dog. While she takes care of him, Max has to figure out what’s next, while keeping the woman he’s beginning to fall for safe from his enemies.

Tara’s new dog is everything she hoped for, but there’s one major problem—he’s not a dog. He’s a wolf shifter. Now Max must convince her to trust him at the same time that he’s trying to save his alpha’s life. Until that happens, love is not in the picture—for him or Tara.

On a snowy Minnesota winter, Tara is heading home after closing her second-hand bookstore. She had a lot on her mind like the fact that her business is probably not going to stay open and her love life is none existent. To make things worse, she accidentally hits a dog. Unbeknownst to her the dog is actually a wolf shifter, Max. He was running from his pack because the alpha he was backing was defeated by the current alpha. The new alpha is after Max’s blood.

Max had only meant to stay a few days with Tara and regain his strength before leaving. He knew if he stayed too long, it would bring danger to her. A bond was quickly forming between them and he is finding it harder and harder to leave.

I absolutely love the way the romance, along with the trust, is slowly built between them. Each of them has a reason to distrust the opposite sex–Tara was constantly being rejected by men and Max was thought of as a freak since he was half arctic wolf and half timber wolf. I really enjoyed Max’s suffering when Tara thought he was a dog. She was talking about neutering, shots, and made him do his business on a leash. You can guess how embarrassed Max was. It made me laugh at all the comments he was sending her and she had no idea. The way Tara opened up to Cotton (Max) expands upon her character, instead of using flashbacks, which was nice. I also enjoyed how Max was portrayed; he is the big, protective, strong, man within, but he is sweet, caring and supported her dream of opening a library on pack lands. The bond between them becomes stronger and stronger every day and with every situation, Although the plot has been used over and over again, the author makes it different by concentrating on the building trust and love between the main characters.

One of the things that I did not like was the long description of where Max and his pack live. I thought some of it could have been cut and not lose anything in the process. I also thought the fight scene between the current alpha was almost an afterthought.

In all, this is a great story about love, forgiveness, and strength. It shows how powerful acceptance is, and how love can overcome anything. The characters are so well developed they feel like a part of my family. I would recommend this to any of my friends and family.

Not only is her town on edge, Haley is trying to reach Dane’s daughter Danica, who refuses to speak after childhood trauma. She knows what the girl is going through as she went through the same thing.

While trying prevent another child from disappearing, a sweet romance between Dane and Haley begins.

I was not able to put this book down. The plot was wonderfully done with no deviations. I was drawn into the story as if I was watching over the characters shoulders. I love the fact that the dogs are a major part of the novel, and not just in the background. As clues are slowly being uncovered things start heating up between Haley and Dane.

I have to admit that I didn’t find a single thing that I thought needed changing, except for wondering how she was injured and why her senses were changed. It’s a wonderful well-rounded book full of great characters and the healing that dogs provide. I would highly recommend this to all of my friends.
