Infuriating, arrogant, demanding. And disturbingly sexy. Those were the first thoughts Frankie had about Greek millionaire and volunteer firefighter Nik Kontarinis, but she was not going to fall prey to his seduction plans. She was on the island of Kathos to lick her wounds and figure out her next steps, not to become another notch on Nik’s bedpost.

A villa restoration project presents the perfect opportunity for Frankie to reboot her business and her life. There is only one problem–she needs a business partner. When Nik offers her an opportunity too good to pass up, Frankie is tempted to accept. Except that Nik has set his terms and there are definitely strings attached.

Will Frankie give in to temptation and play?

The novel is set in the beautiful town of Kathos, Greece. We meet Nik, a wealthy club owner who is becoming disenchanted with his current life.

The things that make the hero happy are his brothers, running his club, being a volunteer firefighter and helping to take care of Theo, his Captain’s son. He had also had a hard childhood until he was adopted by a couple who could not have children. His brothers were also adopted from two different countries. They may not be blood brothers, but they care for each other as if they were. I liked that.

Then there is Frankie, who is staying down at Kathos visiting her mom’s friend, Allison, and her husband. She is trying to get her life back while going through a messy divorce. She helps with Allison’s business, a stray animal shelter called Kats.

Nik and Frankie meet when the hero brings a stray, wounded dog he rescued from a fire. They are instantly attracted to each other and the hero tries different ways to capitalize on that attraction. The heroine isn’t exactly taking the bait. That is until he discovers the perfect plan, and their tumultuous romance begins.

Their lovemaking is hot and their conversations intelligent but their relationship is not exactly smooth. They both have difficult histories to get past. Complicating things further, there is a subplot about a missing brother compounded by some not so great decisions on Nik’s part. The secondary characters, Allison and Theo, are also important to the story. Ultimately, it’s Allison who steps up to calm the troubled waters.

I loved the plot and the characters. It showed me that trust is one of the most important things in a relationship and talking things out before things get too bad is important. Nik is stubborn and confident in himself, but he carries a ton of guilt with him. On top of that pain is the trauma of being jilted by his childhood sweetheart. I could feel his sorrow when he realized a difficult truth. A very poignant scene that affected me was what Nik and his brothers do to honor their missing brother when they get together for drinks.

Misunderstandings and suspicions are all over the place and cause a lot of issues for the heroine; an especially easy thing to do with a manipulative secondary character who has designs on the hero. Nik has trust issues too and the author clearly shows his insecurity and how it contributes to my wondering if there would be a happy ending.

The Greek’s Bedroom Bargain teaches about forgiveness and to live life in the present and not the past. I enjoyed reading this and recommend it to other readers.

Trey McIntyre gives his life to Delta Force, gladly, as spotter for sniper Beau Williams. He believes in protecting his country in all situations. But he longs for a woman who will fit into his life like his three teammates have. But he’s learned they aren’t so easy to find.

However genuinely not the case it is best to discuss cheap viagra this with your doctor. Kenzi Bryant is a hotshot corporate attorney who can’t seem to find a man who is not threatened by her powerful personality and situation. Until she meets Trey and something between them just clicks.

But for two strong people, the road to a happy ending often has a lot of bumps. And while they are navigating theirs, Kenzi is suddenly endangered by a former client. As much as Trey wants to be with her, he has to leave on a mission again. When she is badly injured by an attempt on her life, Trey has to learn how to balance his priorities and Kenzi has to learn there are times she has to give up control.

But can they do it?

Trey McIntyre is a member of the Delta Force, a Special Ops group that is sent in on the most important and sensitive cases. Their group is tasked to rescue an American reporter, Dana Roberts, from the Lopez Garcia drug cartel. She was targeted because she had information that would expose the cartel’s legal and illegal businesses. What he doesn’t know is that Dana is the half-sister to a woman whom he had a passionate weekend which who rocked his world and to his annoyance comes back into his head unwittingly at night leaving him frustrated.

Kenzi is a very intelligent, strong, and perceptive woman who knows she’s over her head. Trey is your typical army man, muscular and protective. He knows how to handle Kenzi’s needs without her having to tell him. You’ll need a fan when you read their love scenes, they are hot and heavy.

The leader of the Lopez Garcia cartel is portrayed as an intelligent, ruthless man. Unlike many of the other cartels, he does not get into turf wars to expand his influence. Instead, he is going international and is going to use legit companies to launder money. They have cousins who handle the cattle ranch that has been in the family for generations which keeps the government off their trail. Yet, as hard as he had worked Dana is ruining all his plans. He has put a hit out on Dana in hopes one of his crew can take care of her, along with Kenzi and her suspicion of Alex Reyes. The author did a great job of getting in to his head and letting the reader know how ruthless the cartel can be.

The one thing that I think could have been changed is the amount of sex scenes. There are lot of them and I do enjoy a good love scene, but I felt there were too many which slowed the story down. Otherwise the plot runs smoothly and the characters stay in character.

A wonderful, action-packed military novel with passionate love scenes and great characters. It also shows the strength and bond between the group of soldiers who trust everything to each other, including the protection of their women.

Captured in a time not her own.For modern day Gabrielle Ross, a college student and fencing enthusiast, the unexpected happens—a mysterious fog transports her back to the year 1760. Suddenly she finds herself aboard a sailing vessel where sea battles and sword fights make it far easier to die than to live.Branded a stowaway and a spy, she is forced to pick up a sword to defend herself. While being interrogated by a take-no-prisoners English sea captain, Gabrielle must fight for her independence in a time when women have none. While doing his part for “king and country” aboard the HMS Seawraith, Captain Sinclair has earned a reputation for courage and daring. Women find him irresistibly heroic, and yet, no woman has ever touched Damion’s heart—until a twist in fate has a fiercely independent 21st-century woman landing on board his ship.Though unsure if Gabrielle is friend or foe, Damion is drawn to the spirited beauty in ways he cannot deny. As he becomes increasingly intrigued by her unusual mannerisms, the defiant tilt to her chin and thunderous flash to her gray eyes, he begins to unravel her secrets. Damion embarks on a skilled seduction that not only places Gabrielle in his bed—but in his heart as well.

Gabrielle Ross is at a beach late at night in Boston Massachusetts, drunk off Tequila because she had a run in with her ex-boyfriend who still has feelings for her. While she slept, a large fog bank moved in and transported her to the past. When she wakes up, she finds herself on the ship Sea wraith, back in the 1760’s, where she meets Captain Damion Sinclair.

Gabrielle is a fun character. She thinks on her feet and does what she likes, despite being under the Captain’s protection. She’s sassy and more than enough to keep him on his toes. I liked her a lot.
It is probably fairly obvious online levitra canada but everything you do requires energy. It improves erection quality for viagra online check it out deeper penetration into her for lovemaking, you are suffering from erectile dysfunction. The medication is sildenafil pfizer effective for up to 6 hours.
I thought that the Captain was also a well-developed character. His personality is overwhelming to most people but not to Gabrielle. In fact, his best friend told him that she was the only woman that Damion would have been able to stand. His past was a hard one which built his character, but also made it hard for him to see himself with a loving family. Especially as his childhood was not pleasant. Gabrielle slowly shows him that a spouse can be an equal in a relationship and so much more.

It was obvious to everyone but them that would get together. The attraction and passion between them runs deep. Each touch is electric, and each kiss melts her bones. The love scenes are tastefully done but also do a wonderful job of showing the passion and tenderness between them.

The period is well described and I felt like I was standing in the old era watching what was going on. I felt the motion of the ship, the sun and water on my face and the confusion of trying to learn a new culture. The characters are all different and wonderfully described. I enjoyed the characters of Jacob and a young man named Arnie. Jacob treated Gabrielle like a father, giving her information behind his captains back and helping her adjust to the world she has been thrown into. Young Arnie had lost his leg in the battle, and Gabrielle is the only one that he will talk to. She shows a great deal of mothering abilities, staying with him and helping him to learn that it is not the end of the world that he lost his leg.

It was also fun watching Gabrielle deal with the nobility.  At her first social gathering, a dinner, men were giving her a hard time about her attitude and boldness. She did a magnificent job of defending herself and also proving to the men that a woman can be as smart as a man. She challenges the societal norms all the time. For example, she dressed herself one day because she did not want tot wake up the servants. Another one was when she walked down to the beach by herself to play in the water, not realizing that she needed an escort everywhere she went. Yet her beauty, poise, and wit seems to break down the wall between her and the men.

While things won’t always be perfect and there are obstacles, the fun is finding out how the characters deal with such things.

A wonderful book full of great characters, sea-voyages, historical detail and a wonderful plot. I couldn’t find a thing I would change. I hope you will pick this up and get lost in a romance for all times.

Thanks to Gracie’s stubbornness he ends opening up to her like he has not to others. He struggles every day to keep away from Grace as long as he can but she draws him in. He is not afraid to show her his emotions when he is overwhelmed. He is up front about what their relationship can be.

Well-meaning friends drag archaic jaguar shifter Matteo D’Cruz back into the human world. Almost trapped in cat form, the recalcitrant male narrowly dodges execution as a feral. Even so, his final end doesn’t concern him overmuch—until he meets the thrill-seeking Dakota Gorman, a latent shifter female.

Matteo helps trigger her first transformation into a magnificent jaguar, and in turn, she schools him on the twenty-first-century woman. Hopeful for the first time in decades, Matteo embraces a possible future with the formidable jaguar queen. Tragically, their intimacy nearly forces him back into cat form, which would put him on death row.

Unwilling to selfishly ask Dakota to wait for him, a desolate Matteo resigns himself to torture and watching her mate another. Instead, in a vicious plot to weaponize shifter DNA, a rogue military faction snatches her, carving Matteo’s heart from his chest. He will bring her home—but at what cost?

Each character is this story is well-developed and I felt like part of the family. Dakota is strong, smart, brave and an adrenaline junkie. She cares deeply for her family. Her suspicion of the clan is understandable but it was fun watching her start to understand how much Jaime loves her sister and how the whole compound will band together to face a threat.

Mattemo is a strong character with heavy burdens upon his shoulders. Not only had he lost his wife and fought in WWII, he was also the Enforcer for the Salazar clan. Being an Enforcer meant that he had to kill jaguars that went rogue–friend or foe. Being in jaguar form so long has changed him. If he were ever to transform again, there is a good chance he won’t be able to transform back to human. This would force his best friend to hunt him down and kill him. Watching Mattemo and Dakota’s relationship develop was very well done. From their first interaction, where Dakota thinks he’s hot but arrogant.

Dakota’s compassion and intelligence works well with Mattemo’s experience and bravery. Mattemo is proud of her intelligence as Dakota hacks the enemy’s phone to show the group where the enemy’s location, she seems to bring out the best in everyone including Dr. Valentine. He is a fun character and the love he feels for his little dog is cute. He may not be street smart, but he had better morals then the soldiers.

This is a wonderful account of life’s twists and turns that can bring us to understanding parts of ourselves we never knew existed. Love and family are what we should consider above all others. It is also a wonderful example of not giving up on yourself or those you love, because as long as you are together things can be worked out. With great characters, a different plot, and in depth descriptions, this book deserves a solid five stars.

A killer at a small-town literary festival. Bumbling drug dealers. A kidnapped cat. Starting a romance among all this chaos might be the death of them.

Michael Fleishman is excited to meet his favorite mystery writer, Russell Withingham, at Lacetown’s Literary Fest. He is not expecting to cross paths with sexy hairdresser Jasper “Jazz” Dilworth—or become embroiled in a real-life mystery. As Lacetown’s only mortician and the county coroner, Michael is called to his first murder scene and is shocked to recognize the victim—Russell’s young lover.

Jazz only wanted to confront his ex, Russell, over his cheating. Instead, he meets the adorably awkward Michael and becomes a murder suspect. Soon Jazz is teaming up with Michael to clear his name. Along the way, they are helped and hindered by Michael’s sassy assistant, Kitty, the grumpy Sheriff Musgrave, Russell’s creepy PR rep, Norbert, and Michael’s lothario grandfather, who likes his manhattans strong and his women saucy. And of course, Mr. Pickles Furryton the Third….

All these herbs in right dosage play a vital role to increase sperm count. super cialis Just follow 50mg generic viagra the above tips, and enjoy the road to other martial arts and how to really make them work. I love every single character in this book; they are fun and hexcentric, yet they can solve two different crimes. Michael is the typical nerd; interpersonal skills are almost nil, and he feels nervous every time he talks to Jazz. Jazz is incredibly sweet to him; he knows Michael is special, and their attraction is immediate. Both dance around each other awkwardly and I can’t help but feel sorry for them, since it seems that every time they go out on a date, something happens to interrupt it. My favorite example is when they are going out to lunch and Michael’s grandfather invites himself to their table. If that wasn’t bad enough, they notice a group of gulls fighting over something and the object lands in Jazz and Michael’s guacamole. It turns out to be a finger.

Michael and Jazz clash a lot with the local sheriff, partly because he speaks about their relationship in a crass manner. It is rather amusing to see how the three act around each other.

Jazz is very supportive of Michael, and Michael still has a hard time believing that Jazz is not going to freak out about his work. He has been hurt several times because of this. A perfect example of Jazz’s compassion and love for Michael is when Mr. Pickles is catnapped. Michael loved that cat like he is a member of his family and finds it hard to go through his day. Jazz and Michael’s assistant Ezra look everywhere while Michael works. Yet when Michael plays his voicemail he learns that the drug runners have catnapped Mr. Pickles.

All three men are worried about the case, the clues and persons of interest are many and they are worried another body will turn up. Poor Jazz had to suffer a lot of suspicion because he is new to the town and he had a relationship with Russell and Dylan.

I had to laugh at how awkward Michael is at the beginning of their relationship and how Jazz tries to put him at ease. When they go on a date on the boardwalk, they play truth or dare to learn more about each other. One of the dares was for the two of them to get a picture of them as if they were on a book cover. Jazz suggested the bodice ripper which makes Michael blush.

The lust for each other is always with them. They both suffer erections at the worst of times and their minds come up with all sorts of kinky images. When they do make love, the fireworks between them surprises Jazz. He didn’t think Michael would be such a lion in bed.

I won’t give the ending away but is not what I expected, that is for sure. I hope there will be more books in this series. I love the characters and the plot is well developed. I want to see how their relationship develops, and maybe see if other characters find love along the way. It’s a fun and witty novel for those that like a little heat in their mystery.

SOLDIERS, SORCERERS, AND MONSTERS…THIS IS WORLD WAR ONE LIKE YOU’VE NEVER IMAGINED IT. It’s 1916, and the world is on fire.

The Great War has already consumed much of the globe, but a second, secret war between sorcerers threatens to crack it in two. The ruling families of Germany and Austria-Hungary, those with the chill of magic in their blood, will stop at nothing in their quest for power, and they’ve drawn the entire world into a bloody war because of it.

Secretion of hormones and certain neurotransmitters from the brain increases blood flow to the penile organ for an erection; any hindrance in this process can affect the erectile function. cheapest tadalafil 20mg The bugs talk to the nervous system through certain purchasing cialis online points of soft tissues. Additionally, buy super cialis once physical intimacy gets over penis of men gets back to its regular circumstance as well. But it now seems like antidepressant medications are doing more harm than cheap viagra http://raindogscine.com/?attachment_id=71 good. But Florence Cavell—codename Geist—means to stop them. She had to defy her family, cut her hair, and disguise herself as a man to join the legendary Ethereal Squadron: a joint US-UK division of the allied powers’ mightiest sorcerers. Armed with her powerful specter sorcery, which allows her to “ghost” through bullets and barbed wire alike, Geist fights a tireless battle to end the war once and for all.

What would have happened if there had been magic alongside rifles during World War I? That is exactly what the Ethereal Squadron is, men with different types of magic that helps win battles. It is a well-kept secret, and not many of the soldiers know of its existence. They take the missions that allow them to go behind enemy lines to push the front back.

Florence is one of the squadrons, code name “Geist”, which means ghost in German. She is known as a Specter, she can ‘ghost’ through anything which helps her avoid bullets and many of the other weapons. She’s hiding a major secret though: she is a woman and her family are on the German side. She defected when her dad had her engaged to the Crown Prince of Austria-Hungary . Now she is cut off from family and friends. Yet, she makes a new family with her teammates until one particular horrendous mission that changed her life.

I really enjoyed the character of Geist, she is incredibly strong but she does not see it for herself. She grew up with a father who considered her a failure. When she and the other soldier she’s paired up with, Vergess aka Richter, get to know each other, love starts to blossom. They both came from the same situations and understand each other with little talking. He was protective of her and did everything he could to keep her secret.

The relationship between the new team Geist is the leader of is a little shaky at the beginning. Victory, Blick and Battery were brothers and had known Geist for sometime, so they were a tight group. The major issue is that they really don’t like Vergess, they think he’s a traitor.

The plot of this novel is well paced, and original. I enjoy books that can take history and add their own twist to it. As I stated above, the characters are wonderfully well developed and relatable. The loyalty of the men is a great example for us all.

I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys historical fiction with some added magic.  Just be careful to start it early in the day or you won’t be able to put it down when you want to sleep.

A werewolf, a witch, and a vampire walk into a murder scene . . .

Sgt. Marilyn Jaye of Supernatural Oversight (the investigative unit for all things which bump a bit too much in the night) is having a frustrating day. What should have been a simple case of a murdered ghoul has spun entirely out of control. It’s bad enough that she’s getting distracted from her investigations by her unreasonable attraction to Henry, a young werewolf with a terrible case of PTSD (Post-Turn Stress Disorder), especially since every Tom, Fang, and Hairy (previously known as her sensible friends) tells her she’s destined to be with him. Worse, her distraction allows a second murder victim to turn up, one of the gentlemanly Victorian vampires who lives in Highgate Cemetery. If that isn’t enough, the vicious werewolf who attacked and turned Henry is still on the loose. London’s creatures of the night seem to be in trouble, and it’s her job to protect them.

Marilyn is determined to find the killer and the rogue wolf, but she’ll need a lot of help. That will include her friends, Hanover (Henry’s handsome Alpha and Marilyn’s ex-lover) and Julius Beer (a vampire who watches over his distressed comrades in Highgate from his ornate mausoleum). Also alternately helping or annoying her are the other members of the S.O., including her powerful sorcerer boss, the eternal spirit of Romantic poet William Blake, her ex-NYPD partner, a pool (yes, an actual pool) of secretarial sirens, and an imp who’s in love with a cat. Even Henry has to tag along. And they better solve the case soon, because the killer has made it clear that she’s the next target.

A mystery novel that is full of supernatural creatures protecting the humans from the crimes of the creatures that go bump in the night.

The suspects are few, the clues confusing and people are not what they seem. The characters are fun and incredibly strong, and each one is complemented by the others, a true team. I loved Marilyn, as she is strong enough to face her destiny head on, overcoming the obstacles and helping Henry to make sure he stays stable. She hates it when anyone comes to save her as she is more then able to do so, but she does make an exception for Henry.

Henry has gone through so much in just 6 months it would have made a lesser man go insane. His turning was traumatic, but also shows what kind of man he is. He ran toward a screaming woman and tried to save her from the rabid werewolf.

The relationship between Henry and Marilyn is so sweet. They gather strength from each other. They are constantly holding hands and anytime Henry is uncomfortable she is there to soothe him. He needs that comfort when his past comes back to haunt him. Due to the murders, Henry’s family is being guarded in case the attacker goes after them.

The only thing that threw me a bit was the story could be slow moving at times. Also, even though Marilyn is supposed to be smart, she is a bit bubble-headed at times.

The ending is not what I expected and things turn out in a way that I could not have dreamed of. The strength each character shows and the way they work together makes this a worthy novel to read.

A steamy short story with werewolves and Fae.

You’ll probably need a fan beside you as you read this steamy story. I did. From the beginning, Gregor knows Jared is his, and lets him know it. The steamy kiss they share is a nice prelude to the passion between them. There are pressures put on the characters and it’s up to them to decide who is being real and who is telling lies. Jared knows he really doesn’t have a choice, but he is fighting because he is stubborn–the wolf in him wants to submit. So, he makes an ultimatum, Gregor needs to woo him.

I had to laugh at Gregor’s reaction to romancing Jared. He’s used to everyone following his orders. Plus he is confused since he can tell that Jared wants him as his body reacts to his touch. He doesn’t understand that poor Jared has no time to comprehend everything. The learning curve is fun to read about.

A steamy quick read with fun characters with an interesting ending.
