The heat that builds between Suzanne and John is delicious to watch and when they finally get together, sparks fly. I also loved the ironic twists in this one, but I will let you discover those for yourself when you read this one. But I do recommend that you read this one in front of the fan, as it gets hot and delightful.

Paolo is Portuguese, and his accent is just like the air in Belize; soft, sultry, way too much like sex. And Jamar, the lifeguard, with abs so taut they ripple when he laughs, and his skin glows like polished mahogany across his broad, rolling shoulders. What a smorgasbord to choose from.

It’s almost like Donovan believes that getting his story out there might help him redeem himself. I think this is a cute touch from the author, to make him a writer and to get input from his readers. I think the novella could have easily been made into a full length novel that I would love to read.

Riley Ashford has created a steamy, quick read that has a sweet breakup and makeup storyline where emotions run high and the pulse quickens.

The blurb is a bit misleading in the focus on Morgan and Derek, who are more of a side note, but they’re interesting and a nice couple so they are certainly not a bad inclusion. This will appeal most to those fans wanting more of Sadie’s Kiss.

The dialogue in Hardest of Hearts is witty and makes this otherwise dark novella a fun read. Emma doesn’t let Aiden get away with much so it’s fun to watch him turn her aggression into passion.

The mental pictures Ms. Marster’s paints are incredibly vivid. You really feel like you are very much a part of the scenes whether you are running from a pack of vampires, fighting along side Emma, or just in the moment with Emma and Aiden. It all felt real.

This short story is a well-woven tale of longing, lust, temptation, and trust. It’s a bit of a faery tale with a dash of paranormal lustiness.

Trinia is a great character to watch grow as she becomes less afraid of what surrounds her or what others think of her and becomes more sure of herself. She also shows off great qualities such as selflessness and unconditional love.

Brennen is a fierce dragon shifter on a mission to find the lady of his recurring visions. He teaches us that looks do not matter, love conquers all, and that human emotion can get the best of us at times whether we like it or not.

At first the relationship between Trinia and Brennen seemed like it might only be one of pure lust and sexual gratification, but as we read on it starts to introduce tenderness, compassion and love.
