I’m a cop. Homicide Detective Pasquale O’Grady. So believe me when I tell you, vampires took my daughter — along with other missing collage kids. Real vampires, not the Goth wanna-be kind. I even know which one. But the bastard went and got himself dead before I could track him down.

With my leads gone, my only hope is his killer. I knew convincing another bloodsucker to help me was a long shot. I hadn’t counted on his sexy blond sister who wants me in her bed. It’s not that I have something against sex, hell, what man with a pulse would? And since my divorce, I haven’t exactly been getting much action. But I’m too damn old to be some Viking vampire’s boytoy — or worse, blood slave — no matter how sexy.

Excitement and surprises abound within the well written pages of Viking Seduction: Blood Hunter.

First off, this is a first person point of view story told from the male hero’s perspective and I thought it worked really well. In fact, it was vastly entertaining and it kept my interest completely throughout the entire tale.

Grady is a cop on the trail of his missing daughter. Right off the bat I was sympathetic to his character and I wanted him to succeed. What he has to do and what he finds out along the way had me flipping the pages at a furious pace. I liked his gruff, no nonsense manner and he doesn’t pull his punches. The key here is for us to realize that we must try to access our full physical empirical knowledge and non-physical ability. viagra in österreich It is better to be temporarily impotent than to have levitra 20mg tablets high blood pressure which can be quite dreadful and thus you are suggested purchasing only original product. In fact, he’s a man’s man and a good officer and his skills come in to play in ways and places he never could have dreamed of.

One person he never thought he’d have a chance with is the blonde hottie he fantasized about. Segrun is a Viking warrior turned vampiress. She has some seriously major mojo and I enjoyed watching her love/hate relationship with Grady. What a wonderful character she is and when Grady finally gets a chance to understand what her life has been like it’s a pivotal shift in their relationship. Segrun comes across originally as a tough as nails user of men, but when Grady earns her trust readers find out she is even more interesting that they might have imagined.

Another aspect that is well written was the hot and literally furious love scenes between the hero and heroine. Talk about wild and no holds barred – nothing boring about these two. The author placed each frenetic and scorching scene where they’d have the most value in forwarding the plot while vastly entertaining the reader at the same time. There was a good balance between the story and the heated skin scenes and I appreciate the author’s talent.

The secondary characters were interesting and valuable to both the hero and heroine and based upon how the story ended, I suspect there will be another book about one of them, hopefully soon.

Yes, there is a happily ever after and the byplay between Segrun and Grady made it fun. In fact I loved how the two verbally sparred with each other – it was great dialogue. And although the story ended happy for them, the author introduced a political wrinkle that will surely test the strength and loyalty of the friendships made during the course of this tale. To say that I’m interested in what comes next is an understatement. Viking Seduction: Blood Hunter rocked and I can’t wait to find out what new excitement this talented author has in store for readers.

Katrina doesn’t mix business and pleasure. Period. Things get too complicated. Besides that, she’s not looking for a relationship. Yet she can’t stop desiring Clash and Claw’s new bouncer, the sexy Elven prince dressed in black leather, with tattoos and piercings.

Braydon wants Katrina and isn’t taking no for an answer. He’ll do whatever it takes to get her right where she belongs — with him — and he’s got a few naughty tricks up his sleeve to get his way.

This latest episode of the Dragon Kin series ventures from the original premise of Dragons finding mates. But Selena Illyria manages to include the Dragon Lord, and the world these books are set in, with great success. The characters are likable and complex, and the story is multi-faceted, both serious and yet with lots of fun and hot and heavy sex.

Braydon works as a bouncer at Clash and Claw. What makes it unusual is not the occupation itself, but who Braydon is. A sexy Elven prince dressed in black leather, with tattoos and piercings, he has a double agenda. Since the day he saw her, he has wanted Katrina, a former Bound Human, freed by her Dragon Lord. All the signs seem to indicate she shares the attraction, but something is holding her back. But until Braydon completes an assignment to retrieve a gem given to Katrina by Ulfric, her Dragon Lord, he can’t pursue her as he wishes. Can a rebel Elven prince and a former Bound Human with trust issues get past it all? Can Braydon convince Katrina he is in this for the long haul, or will she run?

Katrina is a strong character, but very insecure. She is attracted to Braydon, but afraid to act on it. Four years after being freed, she is still worried that her former master will call her back. She feels that everyone leaves, and she believes Bray will too, eventually. I like watching her spirit and her growth, as she starts to realize she might have a future with Bray after all.

Braydon has never been one to follow the Elven Prince image; he’s pierced and tattooed and totally the bad boy. He realizes he has a tough job, convincing Katrina he is going to stay around. He is a bit possessive and territorial where she is concerned, but he knows they can be good together.

The scenes between Katrina and Bray are sizzling hot, and the weekend they spend together will change both of their lives forever. But the trust issues that Katrina has will be stretched when Bray has to complete his assignment and leave her for a short while. I hope that Ms. Illyria will revisit this couple and complete the happy ever after these two deserve. For now I will accept the happy for now, with Bray’s promise to Katrina.

Simon is the lead hunter of the pack and most trusted confidant and advisor to the Alpha. He’s also one of the most feared wolves in pack history, and no one has ever known his equal. Now he must hunt the most powerful enemy he’s ever encountered before she destroys the one most precious to him.

Adopted daughter of the Alpha, Sasha is a powerful shifter in her own right. She’s only now coming into her heritage as a witch, but her power rivals that of Simon’s prey, Deloris. She knows Simon’s hunt is important to the pack, but never suspects it might all be a trap to draw her into Deloris’s deceitful web of malice.

A wolf shifter and a cat shifter not only getting along but having to fight for their lives and love made for an exciting tale that kept me riveted with fascination.

Sasha is an improbability. I realized that this is a series after I started reading it and I never felt left out or lost in the story, however, Sasha was a surprise. Her character’s existence is unique, intriguing and very interesting. I think she’s a magical creature and as such, I could accept her role and importance to the story. Of course that is a good thing because I thought she was the perfect counterpoint to Simon as she is as strong and willful as he is. I liked how she knew her own mind and what she wanted. Even though Simon is classified as a hunter, in this story he was Sasha’s prey and he didn’t stand a chance — which I thought was a lot of fun. I liked how the author wrote her character.

Simon is a man torn between duty, friendship and intense mating needs. He is so conflicted that it was fun to sit back and watch him fall. He’s a strong man and one a person can depend on but he just can’t seem to say ‘no’ to Sasha. Of course, from Sasha’s internal dialogue a reader will find out why it’s hard for Simon to resist her. It seems guys in love are the last to know and I found it hysterically funny when I found who else knew he was the right guy. Sometimes I think men need to communicate a bit better with less shades of gray and expectations of ESP from the people around them. Then again, miscommunication or lack thereof would deprive me of some entertaining conundrums that heroes and heroines have to muddle through. This story is no different and was better for it.

I have to mention a few editing blips that editors missed but by no means did it detract from the story. Sure it hiccupped and I noticed so I have to mention it. They were the only things that prevented this book from being perfect.

The external conflict sounded like a dangling thread from a previous event. I’m glad I got to see the action and I enjoyed the drama and suspense of it. The confrontation also showcased Sasha and Simon’s mutual talents and I had a great time reading the whole scene because the author did such a wonderful job of describing the altercation and bringing it to life.

Shifter’s Coven: Hunter is an exciting and page-turning romance filled with gripping action and emotions from the heart. When Sasha and Simon are finally free to express their desires and the deepest needs of their hearts, it’s passionate, explosive and really hot. I was thoroughly engrossed in the story and rooted for their happily ever after. I am a very satisfied romance reader.

Adelaide finds herself without a home and without hope, until a mysterious stranger stops to help her.

Jean-Luc is drawn to Adelaide. Even though he hasn’t been human in a long time, he feels human emotions for her. Welcoming her into his home, and into his bed, he determines to keep her forever.

The daughter of a vampire hunter, Adelaide never thought she’d fall for the enemy.

Creole Nights is like smooth lobster bisque – rich, creamy and devoured quickly because it’s so delicious. It’s a delightful romance that was a cute read.

Ms. Smith condensed this story to its basic essence and what she chose to share with readers was the perfect balance of information and scene set up with enough of the character’s personalities to make it seamless and a well told tale.

Adelaide is the heroine. She’s young, educated but she has found out that her family, specifically her father is not the warm and loving parent she thought. He has a hardened core about him because of the family business and she runs up against it in a painful way. The poor girl almost doesn’t make it and for that reason she quickly had a place in my heart. I wanted her to find happiness. How to overcome this condition? Men are quite fortunate cialis wholesale pamelaannschoolofdance.com to have so many medicines to treat erectile dysfunction. Jean-Luc is a man, okay, so he’s a hunky vampire, who hasn’t been happy in many years. He doesn’t think it’s in the cards for him but he finds himself acting impulsively anyway when he comes across a defenseless Adelaide. His actions are not altruistic in nature as I found out to my delight. Something else drives him and through very skilled word choice and storytelling, Ms. Smith fleshed out a man who has no fear of commitment when the opportunity presents itself. In fact, I adored his pursuit and focus on the heroine and it climaxed during a wonderful confrontation that, though brief, made his declaration believable and romantic.

There is light drama which helps the hero and heroine express themselves and their intent and I was satisfied with the delivery. Perhaps other readers will think that Adelaide capitulated too quickly, and perhaps she did, but due to the brevity of the pages in this story, I thought it worked well and was just right. This is a romance story that has all the basic elements that I look for. There is nothing I didn’t like and I’m really glad I read it. I think the author’s storytelling voice is wonderful.

I recommend Creole Nights for readers who need a quick shot of romance and are looking for an uplifting and satisfying happily ever after. This book delivers on all counts.

The world fell apart after a virus killed billions, and turned most male survivors into violent wolfmen. That left the world in the hands of a lot of lonely women… As the last gay man standing, how much worse could things get?

I thought getting captured by said wolfmen — who don’t tolerate smart mouthed humans — topped the list. Although that turned out to have a silver lining named Mace. Best sex of my life and he cares enough to fight for me. Life was starting to look up, in a kinda weird way.

That’s when Murphy’s Law kicked in. All those lonely women I was escaping? They want me back, even if they have to kill my lover to get me. And then there’s my mother. How the hell do you introduce your alpha wolfman lover to your mother, the man-eating former head of surgery?

Toss in a psychotic major, a wolfman willing to start a war to take Mace’s place and a whole lot of mistrust. Remember, health is wealth and one has to remain buying levitra from canada http://twomeyautoworks.com/?attachment_id=282 healthy during pregnancy so as to maintain a good health and wellbeing of men around the world. I was in a mad rush to pick up Wolfman: Revelations the week it hit the online bookstore and had to start it just as soon as it downloaded onto my computer, settling in for a long winter night of reading.

Wolfman: Revelations picks up where the first book left off so personally I recommend reading Wolfman: Apocalypse first or you will get the feeling of being dropped into the middle of the story and miss some of the important details about the two main characters and not really able to enjoy the plot play out.

Daniel, big mouth human and Mace, Alpha Wolfman teach each other how to trust and survive the post virus world together. One has lived in fear of the beast, and memories of the world before the virus while the other lives with no memories of his past and the instincts of a wolf and pack live where only the strongest survives. Together they work to try to find away where humans and wolfmen can co-exist.

Brannan Black did a wonderful job in creating a unique post-apocalypse story. It’s amazingly well written with a lot of action and Alpha sex. A tale that will make you laugh and draws you in to a point you find yourself talking to the characters and trying to help them out when they let their mouths get them into trouble.

If you like to think outside the box and imagine the future or if you just enjoy Paranormal stories, you will find this book worth reading. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series when it comes out and can’t recommend this series enough. Why don’t you grab yourself a copy?

Leigh Kendale never wanted a tame wolf and Hudson Bast is anything but tame. He’s strong, handsome and her brother’s partner in the Paranormal Crime Unit.

Hudson Bast lives on the edge, working a dangerous job that requires life and death decisions. He wants Leigh, but he knows making love to her beneath the moon has life changing consequences. They came together beneath a moon of misfortune. Only true love can survive the forces that tear them apart.

This little book is a condensed story in fast forward about werewolves falling in love and fate throwing a huge monkey wrench to trip them up.

The author walked a very clever thin line in writing this tale. I saw a book that really deserved to be longer because of the wonderful potential she imbued her characters with that came through even with the limited of number of pages that restricted them.

Leigh and Hudson fell in love at first sight. If readers are fans of paranormal romances like I am then they’ve seen this tactic used before. I’m glad that Ms. McCall has put a more intelligent spin on it. It’s not that they don’t explore their passion because they do. And it’s as urgent and frantic as I would expect from two wolves under the moon’s influence. It was a hot and delicious bit of writing so erotic romance fans are going to get what they are looking for.

What I liked was the conflict that erupted when I least expected it. It made sense and it showcased Hudson as a man of honor and respect. He chose the long road instead of the short road to instant gratification because he knew the cost would be too high and unwarranted otherwise. viagra samples Oral medicines are an easy and invasive way of treating ED. He’s more the focus of the story because it’s by his actions that the plot is propelled forward until its final conclusion. I found him to be the most fleshed out of the two.

But give Leigh her due. She is not a reticent or weak female lead. She is confident, wily and yet has a very strong loyalty and love for her family. That doesn’t stop her from pursuing what she wants but it backfires on her and I felt bad for her. I saw her honor the commitment she made even when she was angry and hurt and that spoke well for her character and her acceptability to being an alpha’s mate. I felt her pain but the shortness of the story prevented the sniffles that could have been dragged from me if the author had had a chance to explore her more deeply.

The conflict is pressed upon Hudson and Leigh externally but there are some internal facts Hudson has to face for their relationship to survive and be blessed by the family that Leigh loves so much. There’s a bit of light drama that would have worked awesome in a longer romantic suspense story but the author pared it down to the essentials to make the most of its impact. She did a fine job of it and it helped to lay the foundation for the HEA’s survival. If a couple can overcome the emotional siege that Hudson and Leigh had to go through, then there’s a good shot at their having a golden wedding anniversary some day.

Mating Moon is short but rich, vibrant, hot and entertaining. I liked Hudson and Leigh and although they thought they’d be good together, I’m glad to say Ms. McCall convinced me they would be too. I liked the emotional element of the story because it gave depth and made me care. I enjoyed this book and I think other paranormal fans will too. It has that definite spark that keeps a reader flipping the pages until that final satisfying paragraph.

Filled with the unexpected, A Changeling For All Seasons offers something to savor for every palate. From humorous to magical, from Christmas to St. Patrick’s Day to the 4th of July, these stories are alight with unbridled lust, sensuous passion, and hot, hot sex, guaranteed to entangle your senses and leave you breathless.

With ten stories from various authors and genres I’m betting you’ll find at least something you like in A Changeling For All Seasons, and may even discover a few things you didn’t realize you enjoyed until now. I know I did.

Angela Knight – A Vampire Christmas

Picture walking into your home feeling on top of the world knowing your sexy fiancé is waiting with open arms. Only you open the door and instead of the loving man you expected you get a bloodthirsty creature. This is exactly what happens to Amelia.

She had no idea what happened, she only knew was that life would never be normal again. I really did enjoy this story because you frequently read about falling in love with a supernatural, but it is rare to read about a character having someone they love changing and having to choose whether to leave them or accept them. One thing I did wish I got more of was David’s POV. It was hard to follow the relationship development because I just didn’t know enough about his character to understand his actions. In the end though everything worked itself out and Amelia may not have ended up with the life she dreamed of, but she got one equally rewarding.

Sahara Kelly – A Christmas Pageant

Joey and Marty sitting in a tree… but they are doing way more that kissing. I really enjoyed this story. It played nicely off of a schoolboy fantasy, which most readers can appreciate. Marty desperately needed change to get past the rut in his life, and Joey definitely changed things for him. All he has to do is get her out of that skimpy outfit and into his bed.

Judy Mays – Jingle Balls

With a name like Jingle Balls this story has got to be good! Then I started reading it and thought to myself “Uh oh, this is some cheesy play off of Christmas”. Well I should have gone with my original thought because turns out it was good. By the time they made it to the club scene I was sold. The relationship development while a little slow to start but after a while really drew me in. Richard and Jessica definitely do complement each other well including both of their tempers. It seems both characters can go off at any given moment so I know their relationship will be one interesting ride. And yes I even enjoyed the cheesy play off of Christmas.

Marteeka Karland – Sealed With A Kiss

We have moved from Christmas to Valentine’s Day. I have to admit I have mix feeling about this story. The relationship develop for me was good, but the overall plot of the story just seemed as if it was missing something. I would have liked just a little more excitement or conflict. I prefer a more complex plot, but the relationship itself was good. I liked that it was almost a competition between Marie and Daxon on who could seduce who first. Plus in this relationship you can see the emotional development without being told about it, which I liked. All-in-all it was a story I enjoyed reading.

Kate Douglas – My Valentine

Ginny is my favorite character within this anthology so far. cialis sildenafil This drug would prepare your penis for sexual activity. 4-Exercise on regular basis Exercises improve overall stamina, energy and strength naturally. NOTE: This drug is just for sildenafil australia you. Her happiness is in the form of St. Valentine and, as appropriate to the holiday, he sweeps her off her feet and warms her heart and soul in an attempt to show her what life and living should be. This is a short story I can see myself reading over again and still getting that warm fuzzy feeling in my heart every time.

Shelby Morgen – Changeling

Now it’s time for St. Patrick’s day and where better to celebrate than Ireland! This story was an interesting one since we start with Michael, a none believer in all things magical, but drunk enough to explore anyway. I liked the way the relationship between Arien and Michael unraveled especially the twist of them being together. One thing I was disappointed by was the end of the story. I would have liked to have seen a more definitive conclusion, but regardless, I consider this another lovely story.

Willa Okati – Elven Enchantment

I absolutely adored this story. Ciara had some crappy luck with men until she walks into a bar. Even though there was a band the real show was the two guys who couldn’t keep their hands off each other — a far better show, and Ciara thought so, too. Even more fun was when Seanan and Ardal invite Ciara for a night of unimaginable pleasure. Who wouldn’t jump at the change to join Blondie and Dark & Delicious? Everything about this story was perfect from beginning to end, and I would love to see more of these lovable characters.

Kate Hill – Jolene’s Pooka

Another great story riveted with myth and lore. Larkin is really the stand out character in this story. Athough he came off a little too arrogant and dominant for me, knowing what he is really helps me understand why he acts that way. Apparently it is just what Jolene needs because she falls into his bed, and refuses to leave once she realized how much fun it was. I don’t know if the legend of the pooka is true, but I’m sold and would love for one to show up at in front of my house. I wonder if they travel to the city?

Lacey Savage – Chemistry to Burn

While the beginning of this story confused me a bit I quickly figured out what was going on. Some men will go to any length to get a girl’s attention. Griffin is no exception; he refused to play second fiddle to Angelina’s research so he came up with an infallible plan to fix that problem. But he soon realized he may have made a big mistake. I actually liked Griffin once I got to know him, he isn’t as bad of a guy that Angelina thought he was. Griffin, go get your girl and refuse to accept no for an answer!

Shelby Morgen – Troll Under The Bridge

This story was short enough the characters were able to be fairly anonymous, only going by Troll and Cop. I think this was a nice little encounter at the end of this anthology. The twist at the end made it interesting. This was the shortest story within the anthology so there really wasn’t room for error and the author made sure there were none.

All in all I would have to say this was good anthology. I think that it had a nice theme that it continued from beginning to end and while each story was different they complemented each other. As a paranormal erotica fan I was able to read about fairies, shifters, trolls, vampires and other creatures. I discovered some new authors that I would love to read more stories by, which is always a plus and one of the reasons I have always enjoyed anthologies. So I would say, go ahead and read this anthology — you might be surprised by the creatures you bump into.

A rare Argentinean dragon shifter, Cynthianna “Anna” Hernandez has never known trust, peace or safety, not even by fleeing to the deepest wilds of Canada. When bounty hunter Garreth Dragos shows up during a blizzard, things get complicated as their inner dragons decide they’re perfect for each other. Things get worse when the dark mage hunting Anna finds them, sending his creatures to return her to his evil clutches. He’s willing to sacrifice anything and anybody to further his quest for power. Together, Anna and Garreth must trust in each other or all will be lost to evil.

Amber Kallyn has written an excellent follow up to her first Dragos story.

Bounty hunter Garreth Dragos is tracking a dangerous fugitive for the council. The trail has led him to the snow covered woods of Canada, a climate not kind to dragon shifters like himself. But he has it on good authority that his quarry is there.

The target of his search is accused of the most heinous of crimes: murdering her father and stealing his power and his soul. For he is tracking a rogue dragon, a female who has turned evil, just like his oldest brother. He brought his brother to justice and he will bring this woman in too-if he can survive the bitter cold.

Cynthianna “Anna” Hernandez is running from the evil mage who killed her mother and father and enslaved her since she was a child. As a rare Argentinean dragon shifter, she can withstand the cold and snow without it weakening her powers. When she discovers Garreth passed out in the snow, almost dead, she drags him into her cabin, saving his life. As they spend time together, it becomes clear to Garreth that she is his mate, but before he can claim her, he discovers her identity: she is the fugitive he has been sent to bring in.

When the dark mage comes to try and reclaim Anna, they must unite and fight together, or become slaves to the mage. Can Garreth clear Anna’s name? Can they learn to trust each other in order to survive what is ahead? Can Anna stop running and learn to live free again?

Scorched was very good, and it was able to answer some of the questions I had from the first story. The characters are just as well developed as in the earlier work, and I enjoyed seeing the couple from the first book, Scott and Call, make an appearance in this one. I like the idea that the strong handsome Garreth was done in by the cold and snow and it took a female to rescue him. It takes time to act and therefore should be consumed viagra samples at the suggestion of the doctor. Almost all NBA order cialis online players are having tattoos on their body parts. Anna is terrified, but she is still smart and sharp. She knows where she needs to hide to keep the mage from finding her. I found her strength to be tempered by the insecurity she felt about her body and the scars she carries from the torture inflicted on her in the mage’s dungeons. But she is determined never to be that weak and helpless again.

Garreth is a bounty hunter, and he can sense when something isn’t right. I love that he believes in Anna’s innocence, and is willing to fight for her against the council. He is not too proud to accept this woman’s help, and is willing to express his gratitude for what she does. When he finds out that this is the same dark mage that corrupted his brother, he is willing to do whatever it takes to help Anna fight for her freedom.

This is a story of two lonely and driven people who find in each other their destine true mates. I enjoyed watching both of them fight the attraction. Anna felt she wasn’t worthy, because of something that happened when she made her escape from the mage. Garreth had given up ever finding his true mate, and was struck by the irony of their meeting.

There are a couple of intriguing moments in the story when things become much more than two people coming together, and these surprises make this a very good reading experience. I will warn you not to look for a happy ever after, exactly, because the mage is still out there. But Anna and Garreth do have a happy for now, with a bright and loving future ahead of them. And be sure to keep the fan on for this one because it heats up fast.

Holy German Shepherds Batman! This was one hot story. I know when I open a book by J. Hali Steele, I’m in for a fantastic time. This book was no exception. And this story packs a serious punch—pardon the pun. There are so many fun little twists and turns, I didn’t want to put it down.

I wanted to know Max and Victoria’s story from the beginning. I’m so glad I waited. It was totally worth it. Max is alpha all the way, but he’s also very meticulous. He knows everything, all the angles—except Victoria. It cracked me up to see a man so obviously flustered by a strong woman. Great stuff.

Vic is a piece of work, too. She’s gutsy and courageous. I liked reading about her because she really gave Max a run for his money. I felt her pain, agony, and ecstasy. Did I say this was a fantastic read? Yeah, when I can feel like I’m in the shoes of the characters and they stay with me far after the last page, like with Max and Vic, then it’s my mark for a great book.

If you want a story chock full of unforgettable characters and tight plotlines, then you need to read Shepherd’s Watch: Protected. I guarantee it’s worth the ride.

Assassins in Lace: Impressions is a very quick and very graphic story. This tale isn’t for the modest or easily embarrassed. Out of thirty-seven pages, about twenty are filled with detailed sexual content. While I can’t find fault in the author’s writing, I would have liked to see a little more plot. Other than some basic information, I really didn’t get to know the characters very much, particularly Ren. I think some emotions were a little rushed, but in this short of a story, there isn’t a lot of time to delve into character and plot development. Overall, it was a fun read and definitely got my motor running.
