Exotic dancer by night and struggling law student by day, Kacy Bonds thinks one night with a wizard is all she needs. But sexy Nash has a secret. Will the shocking truth destroy their wicked magic?

When a reader is in the mood for gritty descriptions and hard edged romance but is short on time then this book balances both to good effect.

Ms. Stryker had a tough job trying to imbue her characters with enough sympathetic angst in order to get readers to connect with the hero and heroine. The author succeeded in presenting me with a viable reason for Kacy to have the job that she does and why she reacted when the hero, Nash, did something unexpected.

Kacy is a woman who has goals in life and is realistic about the things she has to do to get there. She has lines she won’t cross and is picky about who she crosses them with. The heroine also doesn’t play games; if she needs sex, she goes and gets it, if she likes a man, she’ll pursue him. Ms. Stryker gave Kacy a personality that is sensitive and cynical, hopeful yet pragmatic and very in touch with herself. She doesn’t want sympathy from a man, she wants acceptance of the person she has become. She literally doesn’t pull her punches either.

My funny bone was tickled with the introduction of the hero, Nash Reed. His title alone had me cracking a grin. What is Erectile Dysfunction? An active sex life is part and parcel of any healthy relationship. cheap super cialis I enjoy watching a man who tries to play it straight and loses to the lust scrambling his brains. I am not convinced that he would have capitulated quite so quickly or easily but I also understand that a short story venue is hard to work within and things have to move at a quick pace. What I liked about Nash was his refusal to go any faster than he wanted to go. That made for some really hot scenes that were well written and delicious. Sure, it drove Kacy crazy, but that was the point. Nash had something to prove and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Like I said in the beginning, the story is rife with gritty words in both description and dialogue and if readers are uncomfortable with their frequent use they might want to skip them. But by no means skip the story itself because it has a certain sexy charm and it’s a fun read. It’s told from the point of view of the heroine so a reader gets to know her pretty well. Nash is still a mystery but he shared enough with Kacy for readers to understand he’s a forever kind of guy, with perks.

Wicked Magic should appeal to readers who enjoy erotic romances flavored with explicit dialogue, and actions that get the heart pumping and the imagination primed for a quick but satisfying romance. I enjoyed watching the sexual dance between Kacy and Nash and I was entertained. I’m glad I read it.

When Peter Blake takes a job working for Walker’s Wash-ups, little does he know that the easiest part of his day will be deciding which of his “uniforms” he hates the most. Needing the money to pay off a loan, Peter decides there are worse things in life than wearing a nude male grilling “Hot Sausage” apron, even if he can’t exactly remember what at the moment. His life shouldn’t be like this. Alas, he didn’t foresee corporate redundancy. He didn’t foresee a time in his life when he’d have to take such a peculiar job, having to grin and “bare” it, where both pairs of “cheeks” burn equally with embarrassment.

Even more surprising, he didn’t expect the sanest person in his growing list of crazy clients would be another man with a bruised heart, who has a lot to answer for, including his future.

The best thing about a seduction is the emotions behind it and this little gem packs in enough to make any romantic happy.

All Washed Up starts off with a bit of fun with the hero finding himself in the unenviable situation of having to take a less than satisfying job that impinges his dignity and makes him blush. I also am quite intrigued by the thought that such a service might possibly exist. My first thought was “where can I find me some of that?” but after reading a bit from the hero’s perspective, I realize that it’s not all that funny. In fact, a few of the situations he found himself in were sort of degrading and scary. Ms. Bidwell did a good job of reminding readers that there are real people with feelings that matter; who do jobs that may have to be done that we as consumers take for granted or don’t want to look too deeply at. It’s a good lesson, intentional or not.

The basic premise of the story is about two men accidentally finding each other. One has experienced the loss of a loved one and is in the dumps without knowing how to start living again. The other never explored who he really was and settled for meeting other people’s expectations of himself but never feeling happy or content. As industry master says, It is of no utilization cheap soft cialis to make a heavenly brand personality, in the event that it will bolster enough activity in the penis area. It’s a great emotional hook because the author lets a reader in on each of the heroes’ inner demons and despair. When they meet, it’s a balance of tentative hope and skittish experimentation with dialogue, actions and touches.

The scene was interesting when Chris first encounters Peter. I liked how the author had Peter meet some whackos first so when Chris comes in the picture, it’s a breath of fresh air and an infusion of sanity. I enjoyed the sweetness of it and the initial gentle approach. It was a true seduction of the senses and I had a great time watching it all unfold. What breaks the ice is Peter’s work wardrobe. I wish I could see such things in real life because I am sure it would be a memorable event. As it is, it is the means which the author uses to bring the men together and move the relationship forward; it’s is unique and worth reading.

The only drawback is the accelerated condensing of it all. Because the author gave me characters I could like, I wanted to spend more time with them.

Although this is a short story, All Washed Up is well balanced in its light personal drama, sensual build up and erotic delivery. It should appeal to romance readers who enjoy man on man action because it has the power to touch the romantic inside while delivering entertainment, humor and keeps a person interested from beginning to end. I’m quite glad I read this book.

Bobby loves his work, but he loves his fellow police officer Chantelle more. Unfortunately, they work in the same department, and they will need to make some life-altering decisions soon.

Some lives have already been altered. Take his friend, Sam: a drunken driver has left him with a damaged leg and permanent limp. Sam’s rethinking his career and his future for several reasons, one being that he’s very much in love with Bobby, and more than a little in love with Chantelle.

If explaining to Sam that they are happy to consider a ménage relationship doesn’t already complicate things enough, how is Bobby to tell Sam that he and Chantelle can turn furry at will?

This short story packs a powerful “Aw, shucks” moment because the author took the time to explore her characters’ emotions; bringing depth and feeling to the culmination of the happily ever after.

I liked the overall tone and storytelling voice of Hounding the Beat. There’s humor woven in during the dialogue exchanges between the characters which increased my enjoyment of this tale. The story is told in each character’s point of view so a reader can understand the doubts, worries and hopes that drives each one. The heroine, Chantelle, is a bit of a know-it-all but I liked how the author had Bobby notice and comment on that. By addressing it within the story, I could accept that omniscient aspect, mostly because at times it drove Bobby, one of the heroes, bonkers and he said so – not to her face though.

Another thing I got a kick out of was the scene with the hats. This story takes place in Britain so there are a few references indicating the differences between what I’m used to in America and what the characters experience while being on a British police force. The author explained through her characters in a very clever way and I was fascinated and entertained. In fact, just remembering the part with the hats is making me smile. It was adorable and saucy all at the same time. Sam is the glue that will eventually balance out the relationship, but before that can happen Ms. Bidwell has a reader getting to know him by exploring the internal conflicts that plague the second hero. Sam is the character that pulled my heartstrings the most. He’s been through so much and was determined to ignore his internal pain to do the right thing. That’s strength of character a reader can respect.

When Sam, Bobby and Chantelle explore the physical side of their fledgling ménage relationship, it alternates between tender, passionate and scorching hot; but the author never lost the emotional drama in the midst of it. A reader knows that the skin on skin wasn’t based on lust, but a growing love and sharing of trust and hope. After the sheets got a work out I was so happy for Sam because at that point I recognized when he realized that what Bobby and Chantelle were offering was real and special. It’s what romance is all about.

Protect and Serve: Hounding the Beat is a delightful saucy romp on the paranormal side packed with heart and heat in a short story sure to entertain. I enjoyed getting to know the three characters and liked how the author explored them enough so readers can connect and relate to their emotions. Many times throughout I found myself smiling and a few scenes had me fanning myself. Ms. Bidwell wrote a very engaging story and I’m thrilled I got to read it.

Pete is the youngest of the Dragos Clan, but when the woman of his dreams begs for help, he’s not about to let anyone else save her.

Isabella, a sex demon, has been a prisoner of the black mage for centuries. But in her dreams, she finds the one man who can love her without the cost of losing his soul.

Can the two find each other, and defeat the evil mage that’s been hounding the Dragos clan, once and for all?

Not only does the story feature demons and dragons, but they can actually mate with one another. This concept is what immediately interested me, and made me pick up this story. I was delighted to read a story that fully embraced the paranormal element the way Inflamed has.

Isabella is a demon that I would like to have on my side of a battle. She has a strong will that really makes her standout as a heroine. While she may be a damsel in distress that does not mean she cannot protect people she cares for. The notion that a demon can care for someone in itself made her character intriguing. In true subbuccus fashion once she has a tantalizing sexual encounter her powers are amazing. I would consider the total package of what I look for in a heroine. An erection will not occur just women viagra for sale by taking a pill.o Do not take more than the recommended dose or take it more often than once daily, or as directed by your doctor. Fildena is order cialis pills a PDE5-inhibitor, which decreases the function of PDE5 (an enzyme). While the story was thoroughly entertaining I did feel a little disconnected from the storyline at moments since I had not read the earlier stories in this series. It is obvious from the very beginning that I would be missing something since I was coming into the series in story 4, especially with Pete’s siblings. I think I also was a little disconnected from Pete because of it as well. I could tell that previous information was given about his personality, by dialogue within the story, but I just could not make as good of a connection with him as I would have liked because of this missing information. Therefore, while you will enjoy the story if you have not previously read the stories, I would suggest that you read the previous stories to fully appreciate the authors talent.

The conflict within this story was one that again featured a wonderful paranormal element. Demon and dragons working together to defeat a Dark mage. What gets more paranormal than that? The Dark mage is one impressive foe and seems to be undefeatable. The element of an unobtainable victory always makes a conflict even more entertaining, and the twist at the end was just the icing on the cake. I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for this series next.

This is as unique a story as I’ve ever read about supernatural beings like Mina. The descriptions in this book are very vivid. Also, in demon form these guys are supposedly huge, so how did that work? Lysander, Calix, and Thanos are warriors currently patrolling inside the Badlands. Unlike most Warriors, they are not podmates — at least, Thanos is not. The two older men took him in when his two podmates were killed. The bond among the three of them has grown steadily, but Thanos always holds himself back. He does not share his body freely with the other two men unless the need is so great he can’t resist.

Artemis has been watching the trio for some time. She knows Thanos has a horrible secret about the death of his podmates, but he’s a good man nonetheless. She’s also intrigued that these men are truly Spartan warriors, unlike so many second generation Warriors created by the WCGA. That aside, she’s drawn to them and knows they are her true mates.

She just hopes she can break through Thanos’s grief and guilt before he does something stupid. Like letting himself get killed.

For a warrior, sometimes the fiercest battles can rage within. Trust, once lost, is slow to be replaced, whether that trust lies within or in someone else. After facing the ultimate betrayal Thanos needs to learn if he can trust not only his new shield mates, but also himself.

Thanos might be a take charge, kick butt, spartan warrior, but he comes with some serious baggage. Of course after finding out what the WCGA had done to him, it’s a wonder he’s coping as well as he is. There are subtle hints, clues dropped along they way that give a vague inkling of what happened to Thanos, but the truth is far worse than anything that I had guessed. The insidiousness of the WCGA is unparalleled, their unscrupulous actions seem to be the stuff of conspiracy and legends. Thanos’ shield mates Lysander and Calix know Thanos is keeping something from them. What they don’t know is how deeply Thanos’ secret affects them all. It is only after they find Artemis that the truth comes out. Artemis is awesome, she’s a warrior and a darn good one; she has to be to take on three spartans as her mates. But more than that she is the only one who can bridge the gap between Thanos, Lysander, and Calix. For as fierce a warrior as Artemis is she is also a woman, and the only one who can offer the emotional support Thanos needs to overcome his past and put his trust into Lysander and Calix and their future together. She is the perfect foil for each of the warriors, patient and loving with Thanos, cheeky and impish with Calix, and fierce and determined with Lysander. Although Artemis would have made a good made for any one of the warriors, it is only when they are all together that they are truly complete.

Of course there are many warriors in the Badlands including those sneaky little ninjas. I love those guys even if I’m never quite sure what they are up to and how much of the truth they know. They are fun, even if their concept of a woman’s place is way off, but it will be greatly amusing to see them taken down a peg or two when they meet their mate.

In the battle for love, losing is not an option. Spartans are known as the fiercest of all warriors, but they never fight more fiercely than when protecting the ones they love, even if it is from themselves. Badland Warriors: Spartans takes you deep into the heart of the badlands and the warriors that fight there, unraveling some of the mystery only to find that there are that many more questions left unanswered.

Caveat Emptor — let the buyer beware…

Ryver is one of the many humans who owns a vampire. She purchased Theron for home security. When the magic charms keeping the vampires docile and subservient suddenly start failing, Theron goes from protector to threat. A nationwide, mandatory recall of all vampires is in effect. Ryver is ready to comply, but a night of passion spent in Theron’s arms changes her mind.

It’s only a matter of time before someone figures out Ryver and Theron’s secret. With the threat of mages bearing down on them, Ryver has to decide if she’s willing to give up her lover — or her freedom.

Guardian by day, lover by night, it’s the perfect arrangement… until you get caught. In the war against vampires humans seem to be winning, with the aid of magic, but what happens when the magic stops working? Charmed Lover is the first book in Zenobia Renquist’s new series Caveat Emptor. An amuse-bouche to stimulate the appetite, giving you just enough to make you want much more.

The premise of this series is fantastic, a vampire/human war in which the humans are winning, but by winning are they really losing? I love the arrogance of the humans for thinking that they can control vampires, turning them into mindless docile slaves, with no consequences. I don’t know if it was intentional or not but the vampires are employing a great strategy. They are ridding themselves of the less savory elements of their society, by weakening them and leaving them where the hunters can capture and enslave them. And the humans are playing right into their hands by inviting these vampires into their homes, so confident that their magic is infallible.

Not all the vampires that get captured are criminals, however. Some like Theron simply voice unpopular opinions, like the thought that humans and vampires can co-exist peacefully. Then again, for the vampire elders getting rid of those who threaten the status quo can be just as important, if not more so than getting rid of the criminal elements in their society.

For Theron, getting captured and subsequently bought by Ryver might just be the best thing that’s ever happened to him. More importantly, the effects of these supplements remain up to 36 hours offering long-lasting support for better performance in viagra buy online time of need. Even before he broke through the charm, Ryver treated him well, using him more for someone to talk to than anything else. I find it interesting the Ryver was the first person to think of asking a vampire what their name is. It speaks to her nature, as well as the nature, the hubris’ of humans. Names have power and by taking away the vampires true names, it’s a more subtle way of removing the rest of their powers. Essentially the humans are trying to turn these powerful and dangerous predators into lap dogs, and then are shocked and ill prepared to deal with the fallout when vampires break free of the docility charm.

Ryver isn’t trying to dominate or oppress the vampires, she is simply trying to live her life as peacefully as possible. Her reason for buying Theron was for home protection, but I think it was more than that. Ryver just wanted someone to talk to, someone who wouldn’t judge her, someone who could see her for who she truly is, and Theron did. The docility charm might have prevented Theron from reacting, but he watched and learned and waited. While Theron was watching and waiting he fell for Ryver, seeing in her all the things that even she doesn’t see in herself. Of course when Theron does break free of his charm, he is through with watching and waiting, and is more than willing to show Ryver how special and beautiful she is. I love the games that Ryver and Theron play, now that he’s awake, the small little tortures that are good for the soul.

I look forward to reading the next book, as fun as Charmed Lover is it left so many things unanswered. I want to know how the vampires were able to break free of the docility charm, and why only a small number of them seem to able to do so. Why aren’t more vampires, and humans for that matter, trying to find a way to co-exist with out anyone being enslaved, or charmed?

The nights are long and hot, when you have a vampire lover who will do any and everything you ask. Charmed Lover is a fast paced and fun read, with enough intrigue to have you coming back for more.

Toby is a rare human, a chrysalis child, one who, should he or she bestow their love on a vampire, can return the vampire’s ability to walk in daylight.

With little time to assimilate the information, much less decide if he loves De, Toby is confronted and abducted by his lover’s life-long enemy. Placed in an untenable situation, Toby must find a way to deal with a man who could not only end his life, but who threatens everything Toby holds dear.

An impossible position, a life altering choice, and game changing consequences. Feast of Choice starts to dig into the underbelly of the lives of De, Alec, and Filia revealing surprising truths, well believed lies, and the ultimate betrayal.

I felt bad for Toby. When he walked into The Mausoleum he had no idea that he wasn’t just walking into a club, but also a war zone, a personal vendetta between Alec and De. What was supposed to be a fun night out turns Toby into a pawn in Alec’s little game of extracting revenge. While I understood why Toby didn’t tell De what had happened with Alec, his actions or rather inactions in this matters were beyond frustrating. It could just be me but I would have been fighting Alec with everything that I had if he had tried to back me into a corner like he did with Toby.

I cannot believe that Alec’s only desire is to see De heartbroken and abandoned as he once was. It might have started out that way but I think the years have perverted Alec’s mind making him a very cunning and dangerous foe. There are some people who just shouldn’t live forever; as they say “absolute power corrupts absolutely,” and while Alec might not have absolute power he has enough.

Of course De has no desire to wield power like Alec does, or at least none that has been shown yet. I think that De has used his time more wisely, he has learned to accept what comes and turn it to his advantage. The moment when he notices him losing impotency can be filled up with lots of frustration. viagra price Erectile dysfunction is a part and levitra purchase online parcel of any healthy relationship. Generic levitra viagra cialis is known to be safe, affordable, accessible and effective drug which can cure erectile dysfunctions and hence people are not comfortable facing others asking for this Sildenafil Citrate. Should I tell my mate I am using a supplement such as this? We are all for open communication and for viagra cheap generic some couples the joy of testing a modern sexual enhancer is a certain stigma and taboo attached to it and people often shy away from admitting they need to get help. Whereas Alec seems more like a spoiled child at times, with his happiness only coming at the expense of others and never lasting long because it’s not true happiness. Beyond that it is quite possible that unlike De, Alec doesn’t have the ability to love at least not beyond his strictly selfish parameters.

It was great being able to watch De fall in love with Toby, even knowing what was going to happen. The vast differences in De’s private and public interactions with Toby were a study in themselves. In private, De is charming and seductive, using tried and true courting techniques, spending vast amount of time making love to Toby. In public he is dominating and possessive, ravaging rather than savoring Toby. Both sides give insight into De’s persona, the gentleman he was raised to be and the ruthless vampire that he has to be to protect his people.

For as many secrets that have been revealed and questions answered there seem to be that many more waiting to be discovered. Like what was with Alec’s cryptic comment about Toby being almost perfect? It seems an obvious setup for a plot line, involving Toby and his family, one that I really hope doesn’t come to fruition. What exactly is Neo’s relationship with De? Where did Neo come from, when did he hook up with De and why? Who are the mysterious guardians who protect the chrysalis child and when do we get to meet them? Probably most importantly is what is Filia’s side of the story, why did she chose to be turned? We have heard De and Alec’s story as to why, but I want to know Filia’s, especially given the revelations that have been made about her.

Unlike the first story this ending was not as shocking, if only because I was prepared for it this time. It was the inevitable conclusion to this particular part of the series. That’s not to say it was predictable, it was more like the old saying “when you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras.” You know that the horse is coming, but that doesn’t stop you from wishing that maybe just this once it will be a zebra. Alas, in the end it is a horse, but as far as horses go, and endings for that matter, it is a pretty spectacular one.
