The author draws you into each scene and you can feel what it’s like to be that girl taking pictures and posting them online for the world to see. It’s sexy and hot and amazing all at once. When Brendan finds her, you feel the uncertainty and fear—will my job find out? Will he stalk me? It’s all there. So is the heat when they connect. It’s electric and I couldn’t stop reading. Beatrice is such an interesting and relatable main character. As soon as I met her I couldn’t help but to like her. Seeing how she responded to plot twists that pop up later on this tale also added an unexpected depth to Beatrice’s character.

This explanation didn’t quite make sense to me given certain loopholes in it that were never really filled in. It would have been helpful if this section had either been left out entirely or if more time been spent describing how it works.

This was one of the sexiest short stories I’ve read in a long time. The love scenes blended perfectly with the other subplot, and the transitions between the sexy romps and Beatrice’s personal development were smooth. I don’t know if the author has any intention of turning this into a series, but I’d be interesting in checking out the sequel if she does.

Pierce was too nice-setting everything up without demanding anything from Demi. She was a whirlwind of nature and kind of a sex kitten without much happening behind the scenes.

The chemistry between Demi and Pierce was undeniable and author Shyla Colt does a great job playing them off on one another. Using the male POV so the female reader can try and connect with the hunky hero was a win. Every girl wants to be whisked away for the weekend for kinky sex and it was nice to see things from his perspective.

Overall, this was a fun paranormal romp especially nice if you are in the mood for a short, quick read.  It’s ghost hunting on the go with some sexy adventures under the sheets.

This is a story that revolves around the relationship – and problems – between Tanya and Cole. While there is a small plot interwoven about the Olympics and Cole’s work in SWAT, it’s predominantly about how Tanya and Cole try to revive and save their marriage and sexual relationship. Readers looking for an action packed, fast paced story might not find this suits their taste, but for readers who enjoy relationship-centered storylines should find this pleasing. While I personally found the bondage and experimentation is tame, it’s certainly hot enough to keep the flames burning. Ms. McAllan knows how to describe sex and does it well, easily drawing me in and making me squirm in my seat throughout the pages. I have to say, that scene at the theatre was magnificent. Not to mention, the wax play, vivid and erotic to the limit. Oh, and the chair. The chair. I wonder if it was an invention of the author or if there actually exists something like that. Positively decadent!

All in all, Seducing the Regency Dom was a pleasant and erotic afternoon read.

I like this world, and the interaction between the main characters. There is a past with Sonja, and it is portrayed in bits and pieces through these two people’s memories. I love this series, and enjoy the search for the elusive talent needed to replace the irreplaceable Nick Blackthorne.

Levi Levistan and Corbin Smith are a committed couple, in the midst of the single most devastating period in their relationship. They had looked forward to the birth of their daughter via a surrogate, and when the senseless accident took both the child and her mother from them, each man reacted differently. Corbin grieved openly, and needed to share his grief with Levi, while Levi buried his grief and pain deep inside himself. I like that, although Corbin left, he realized that he still loved Levi, and needed to find a way to get through to Levi and help him heal. I love that he felt secure enough with Levi to accept and welcome Sonja into their lives, their homes, and finally, into their hearts.

Sonja ‘Sonny’ Stone is strong, determined and unflappable. She has to be in her career as an editor of erotic romances, but even she is shaken a bit by Corbin’s suggestion. I like that she shares a past with Levi, and knows and understands how he handles pain and stress in his life, and I liked seeing how she reacted to both Levi and Corbin. She has such an open and adventurous nature, and she fills the place inside both men that neither knew was there.

This is a poignant and touching story, one of pain and loss and starting anew. There are some sad moments, but there are many joyous ones as well, and when disaster strikes, Levi and Corbin are able to face it together and make sure Sonny stays right where she belongs…between these two attentive and loving men. This one is for those who like their romance unconventional and hot…and I do mean hot! I’m looking forward to seeing how the search for Nick’s replacement works out, and I recommend this series in its entirety to those who like lots of screaming hot romance with a peek inside the life of a band.

A hard won happy ever after is the reward for reading Photograph and it’s worth experiencing Tara’s growing pains. It’s not often a heroine is the one having to navigate territory that usually is a male’s purview.

Ms. Davenport had quite the challenge facing her when dealing with Tara. A reader is first introduced to the heroine when she is at her most uptight, obsessive, illogical, controlling and nasty as well as stubborn beyond belief. In short, she’s not likeable. Her internal dialogue gives a reader a clear indication of her obsession. It’s not healthy. Who can reach a person that mentally closed off?

Her sister, Azure. I loved the name Azure; it’s so pretty. Tara’s sister is the one who orchestrates an unusual scenario that forces their issues to break open. It’s clever, elaborate and effective. It’s not without its downside but I admit to being pleasantly surprised at one of the twists. In fact, once one of the dramatic and suspenseful incidents happened, the book exhibited a tighter handling of plot focus and intensity. It’s when this book started to shine and I found myself completely engaged and totally enjoying myself.

The style of writing in the first half of the novel is split between Tara’s point of view and Azure’s POV. A reader gets to understand why Azure pushes so hard and what demons plague Tara. In the early stages of the plot, the head hopping hurt my brain. The little snippets of going back in time to relive some moments that lead up the current situation between the two sisters, although commendable in their inclusion, made me want to facepalm – it broke up the flow of the story and it didn’t work for me.

One thing the head hopping and switches of POV accomplished was to help me understand that Tara’s imagination created a picture of a person that had no bearing on reality. The object of her obsession was revealed through Azure as being a person totally and completely unsuited to Tara’s personality, yet that person fits Azure like a glove. And that is also where I saw the slow change and dawning awareness in Tara that nothing was as she believed. She couldn’t handle it so she did what guys normally do which is another clue to her personality. After that moment, the crack in Tara’s shield started to spread and I got to see some amazing shifts as told through internal dialogue and the heroine’s own actions. And readers need to pay attention to her choice of words, they’re very telling. Once that started happening, I was able to see the evidence as to why Azure did not want to give up on Tara, why she pushed so hard and I started to see glimpses of what made their relationship so special before it all went to pot. Tara is redeemable and worth saving.

As for the sex, readers will get their fix. It doesn’t happen only for Tara, Azure gets some too. And believe it or not, sex is important in this tale which was a pleasant surprise. I’m serious too. Usually sex is about titillation or a celebration of a couple coming together in a romance. In Photograph sex is a barometer of emotion and discovery and a key component to Tara’s redemption and I truly got the biggest kick out of that. Way cool.

Initially, Photograph is a hard book to get into because of Tara’s personality and some of the issues I mentioned above. Stick with it because it’s so very worth it. The heroine’s character growth is significant and powerful, the drama and excitement that the author infused at certain key points in the story were well written and gripping and set fire to the plot movement. The growing attraction between Ryan and Tara was a complex love dance that ultimately culminated in a soon to be HEA. I won’t clarify that statement; a reader will have to find out for one’s self. The intimate encounters were varied and always well placed, not to mention delightfully hot. The happily ever after is intricate and substantial and it tied up some loose ends making it a wonderful way to end the story. It’s not a fairy tale ending; it’s the perfect ending for both Tara and Azure. If readers like character driven plots then this book fits the bill. If readers like challenging and strong female protagonists, then this is the novel to choose. Photograph has a lot to offer; pick up your own copy and see for yourself.

What can I say…I’m a sucker for Billionaire themed reads and I love new authors. I’ll have to say if you don’t like cliff hangers make sure to grab Naked Submission (Touched by You 2) before reading this one. This book has a good story line and a decent length, not too much that bogged me down. There wasn’t a lot of back story on either character, but I was still be able to get the feel for Tanner and Natalie.

As naive in the ways of men as Natalie is, she is rather accepting of new experiences. I’ll be interested to see if she loses any of herself. For Tanner, the need to control is what drives him and its how he was conditioned. His controlling way is how he was raised. Add a very independent young woman with not a lot of world experience with a slightly older man of the world and you have sparks. Even with the dire warning that Tanner kept sharing with Natalie, will they still take a stab at a relationship?

I just loved their first date because it was so unbelievably sweet. For all the hopeless romantics out there, that scene will be a definite “aww” factor. There wasn’t too much BDSM in it. The bondage was hinted to in the introduction where needs, pleasure, and limits were discussed, but nothing to definite. There wasn’t a lot of sex, but the scenes where well written. I very much enjoyed this book and will look to reading the next in the series. I’d recommend it and hope you enjoy.
