This was a surprise since I’d never though of an Amish and a Dom. That scenario was a little difficult to imagine but thanks to the author, I could safely say that this was a great book.

When Hannah moves into the city, she had to learn some of the simple things like driving a car and navigating the bustling city. She also has to get used the number of changes that came with it. Her willingness to try is one of the things that made her endearing as a character.

Mitch is a very good with his hands and he promised his neighbors that he would keep an eye on their niece when she came to house sit for them. Somehow keeping an eye changed to keeping a hand and everything else on her, too. Mitch feels an instant lust for her and vice-versa, however with the amount of time they spend with each other, it became obvious very quickly that there was the chance for more.

Mitch is a Dom and Hannah’s only relationship was her husband. Sounds like a potential for trouble. She was completely innocent to Mitch’s ways, but she didn’t give up. Her determination is awesome. Neither character let up and that was great to read.

The characters were interesting and detailed. They had fantastic chemistry that steamed off the pages. Their story isn’t long but it was satisfying and an easy recommend.

Riley on the other hand is simply a sweet girl with a father who is probably as dangerous as any criminal Hanzi has dealt with, seeing as he may be doing some illegal stuff. Riley, though she loves her father, would rather stay as far away from him as possible. When Riley first sees Hanzi, her womanly parts wake up. I’m not sure it’s love at first sight or lust at first sight but, in the end they do fall in love.

This was an up and down book. Meaning there were parts that was interesting while other parts that totally put me off. Like he is sweet and caring towards her at times and then he intentionally or unintentionally hurts her. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I can owe that to the fact that Hanzi has always had one night stands, not real girlfriends.

I do think Hanzi could have been characterized a little bit better. He needed a little more depth to be true hero material. Otherwise it has a good plot and flows well. Ms. Fallen is a very descriptive writer and helped bring the story to life.

Readers who like bad-boy redemption stories should give this one a try.

I really enjoyed this sensual story. It’s a progression from Sean Michael’s book “Blended Family” but can easily be read as a stand alone. Mr Michael has done an excellent job of laying out the backstory without massive info-dumps or making it feel like a rehash of old stuff. I was pleasantly impressed by the seamlessness of having Max, Peter, Devon and Swan’s story and relationship progress while still explaining how far they’d already come on this journey. I also really loved how all four characters had their own style and quirks. With four main characters it would be easy to have one or more appear too similar – or perhaps be somewhat overlooked in the narrative, but I found them to be all unique and interesting and take equal shares of the spotlight. The author is to be commended in my view for meshing the various threads of story perfectly to make an excellent foursome.

This is a highly erotic tale, and while there’s plenty of BDSM play and toys, I found it sweet, charming and extremely tasteful. I could also strongly appreciate how the plot and storyline basically *is* the foursome coming together. I loved reading about the small hiccups of couples moving in together, finding their new pace and settling in with each other. There of course was some outside conflict about half way through – and while I found the problem the four men faced sad, it was also a strong reminder of how some pockets of the world is today. Bittersweet. Most of all though, I loved seeing these characters I enjoy coming together, sharing their bodies and home and finding their new rhythm together.

I felt Combine is a strongly romantic story with excellent characters, a realistic plot and interactions and more than a hint of laughter. This is a wonderful story and one I happily found myself engrossed by. I can’t wait to crack it open and start reading it again for pure pleasure. A vibrant, wonderful tale.

It lent the story an air of a girlfriend chatting to me about how she hooked up with her new man. The book is written in the first person but mostly it felt like a friend chatting to me over a nice cup of tea.

There’s quite a bit of light kink. I didn’t find any of it outrageous or really over the top. Public sex, a bit of light bondage play, teasing and light spanking (nothing too harsh) and a swingers sex club all made this book deliciously erotic, but nothing I’ve not read of before. I did find it a little strange how the author outlined and described every minute task that Ruth did (it’s been quite some time since I’ve read a story where the heroine waxes her lady parts or discusses in detail buying groceries and sexy knickers) but again, I really felt this just added to the feel of a friend confiding to me of how her recent dates have gone. It was strange, yes, but only a little bit and didn’t ruin the flow of the story for me.

I thought the conflict around the club a little disappointing – particularly Ruth’s reaction to it by trying to make Heath jealous. The miscommunication felt a bit rushed and I’m not exactly what purpose it served. Nor do I understand why the club had such an enormous build up, only for them to leave after ten minutes. I was left confused and let-down to not see more of the club or even have a proper scene where Ruth and Heath enjoyed themselves in it and did naughty things. One of the sub-plots was also left dangling and I personally don’t enjoy when some of the plot is left so open and unresolved.

Overall I really enjoyed this story. I felt an endearment to both Heath and Ruth’s characters and mostly had fun reading about their adventures and play. I think this book is naughty and spicy enough to suit most readers. I feel most readers will find this as fun, playful and spicy as I did. A fun read and a great way to spend a quiet weekend.

I was also slightly disappointed at Carolyn’s attack of nerves when the relationship started to turn serious. I felt that a strong female character willing to go to a sex club to meet a man and lose her virginity was nowhere to be found when it came to having an adult relationship outside the safety of the club walls. I understood her fears and felt the author did an excellent job of explaining her mindset, but that didn’t stop me wanting to shake some sense into her.

I did, however, love the chemistry between Martin and Carolyn – and I loved Martin’s parents, his mother especially. The sex scenes were deliciously erotic and full of sizzle. I also found the ending deeply satisfying as a romance reader. I’d particularly recommend this book for readers who love to get lost in the fantasy, where anything is possible and even a shy, brainy girl can hook the sexy, swarthy hero. Hazel is one amazing woman, even though she has had some events in her life that has left her a bit jaded. I think on a personal level I related to her; she built a hard exterior to keep others out. That helped me connect with her as well as root for her from the very beginning. I knew she could find happiness if only she came to terms with her past and I was glad to watch the development.

Dylan is just too suave for his own good. I mean, how many girls and guys can he seduce really? I can tell why people seem to love him he just has a way about him. He makes you want to accept, respect, and submit to him. Yet, he does not take it for granted which really is a gift in itself.

Ward on the other hand is a guy I could never really figure out if I liked or hated, which is exactly how Hazel felt most times, and exactly what the author was going for. Even in the end I learned to appreciate him a bit more, but I still felt like someone needed to keep an eye on that one just in case. I also understand how he added a certain level of excitement and unpredictability to the story that really brought it to a different level.

Overall, I have to say I enjoyed reading this story. The relationship development was shaky at times but still continuously progressed. I have to say however that this is not one of those stories that left me thinking “and they lived happily ever after”. I felt like in the end some things went unresolved and could have used some wrapping up, but this may just be the authors way of getting me to look forward to the next story.

Minor typos were also present, but nothing my brain didn’t fill in on my first read through. I loved that the stories were fun to read, and not just hot. And for those who may be wondering if it will be a happily ever after, I assure you it is. Trish and Jake actually make it to that point but not without the normal relationship pitfalls.

As with every Desiree Holt book I’ve read, there’s more that happens than just the impossible-to-ignore-passion that they have going for each other. I have read many Desiree Holt books but this was my first in the Rawhide series. I look forward to checking out the others after this one.

What I appreciated about reading this book was, even though it’s part of a series and there are obviously characters from previous books present, it didn’t hinder or confuse me. This book is totally about Trish and Jake and it could be read as a stand-alone. An easy recommend for readers who don’t have much time but love a good hot read.

The Divine Series by Heather Rainier is one of my favorite series. I could never get tired of it because of the way the author keeps each book fresh and unique. I have to say that Bunny and the Beast is one of my favorite stories yet.

The main reason that I loved this book so much was how the characters stood out. Bunny was righteously funny and she kept Joseph the big bad Dom on his toes. Then factor in that Joseph was so sweet toward Bunny, and it just melted my heart to goo. Not to forget that for all of Bunny’s sass and charm was a vulnerability that gets me every time. So the author had me hooked with these two characters, and that was before I even got to the steamy intimate parts and the BDSM elements.

Now, as usual, Heather Rainier’s writing style was simply wonderful. Her characterization was spot on, Bunny and Joseph were beautifully vibrant and pulled me right into the story. Bunny was a strong heroine, spunky with a touch of vulnerability. Joseph was honest with her from the start about what he expected from the relationship. The entire story was easily paced and the writing quality was every bit as excellent as I had expected. It was probably the most fun read in the series and I enjoyed it very much.

Bunny and the Beast was a very hot read with the BDSM aspect. It was also a multifaceted read that had more than a few laughs and some serious trope that came along from Bunny’s past. The plot hit all the right buttons to keep me interested. I highly recommend this novel, and the series, to anyone who likes a more explicit read that is still a quality story. I look forward to the next book in this wonderful series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, so much more than just a simple menage. There are many undertones to it and while I found the ending satisfying, it’s a Happy For Now finish, questions about the future are left unanswered. The sex ranges from the hard and hot to the soft and gentle, like a wonderful piece of music. I found myself breathless by the end, caught up in the story and eager for more. I loved this quick read and felt the author rounded out the intimacy shared by the three men very well.

A delightfully dark and hot read. Recommended.
