Kenny Long is living a new life. Blinded in an accident, he has taken control of his unexpected reality the best way he can, and it’s working out better than he hoped.

Of course Larry Boots doesn’t know any of that. All he sees is a beautiful man sitting on a park bench.

Larry has a few problems of his own: his mother. His job. The lack of romance in his life.
Many couples who visit sex clinics include those who work in harmful job purchase viagra in canada environments and this is especially when there is over and long period of time and then begin to see problems with their own personal health. His job. In the course of that job, Larry strikes up a friendship with Kenny. The next thing he knows, he’s so head-over-heels in love, even his mother doesn’t seem so bad. Of course his career is still a problem, but he’s working on that. Hopefully he’ll have the problem resolved before the man he’s being paid to murder succeeds in murdering him first.

And before the man he loves finds out he’s a cold-blooded killer.

Meet Larry Boots, a young man with a special job. He takes care of criminals that have slipped through the law.

Although this has a lot of dark areas there are also plenty of funny moments involving his mother, Greta, who is a 70-year-old hippie. There are also humorous moments with his poodle dogs.

What really struck me was how well the author portrayed a blind person. As it turns out, Ken is a teacher for the blind. He had lost his sight in a car accident and I know how hard it is to adjust to a whole new way of life. The characterization of Larry is so well done, and he takes the high moral ground not letting the disability affect him. Their conversation was rather stilted, but who’s isn’t when you first meet a new person? It was obvious at their first meeting there were sparks between them. Their relationship develops slowly and has realistic problems. On the first date Larry takes him to the zoo thinking that Ken would enjoy the sounds and scents of the animals. It was so sweet seeing Ken’s reaction, full of wonder and happiness. They end up in bed together and have better sex then most men they had been with. There are lots of facets to this story, but I’ll let you read it to get the full effect.

I would recommend this book to anyone. The characters are so well described that you feel part of the family. Being visually impaired myself I was impressed how realistically Ken was portrayed. Although Larry kills people, I can’t find it in me to be disgusted because he was just doing his job. With a wonderful relationship which helps both men’s life, Larry learns to let go of the rage for his brother and Ken learns to be more confident in himself.

This book is a fun and thought-provoking work that many would enjoy.

His forty-ninth birthday approaching, Ed is expecting nothing more than his usual stiff drink and an anonymous fuck in the back room of Yancy’s Crossings. What he never expected was to be picked up by two college students and taken for a ride that would change his life forever.

Ed is bearing down on turning forty-nine and even though he didn’t live the life of a virgin, it had been a long time since he’d shared more than a quickie in the back room of his favourite bar. Ryan and Kyle are both too young for Ed, and the three men initially get off on the wrong foot. But Ed has a burning need and both Kyle and Ryan are more than eager to indulge.

I found this to be an interesting and very explicit short story. In some respects this felt a little old-school to me, with Ed dwelling a fair bit on his increasing age, but also the way his regular bar was set up, with a designated back room for voyeurs or anyone willing and interested to share flesh and sex with each other within certain boundaries. While I found the descriptions of the scene interesting and a little eye-opening, it felt a bit to me like an older style of club or maybe even a speak-easy. I really enjoyed this, but feel some more modern readers might not find it quite to their tastes.

Even though Ed, Kyle and Ryan get off on the wrong foot they all can’t resist the need and attraction building between them. While it’s clear all three men are willing I was never quite certain that the friction between Ed and Kyle would sort itself out. Readers looking for a gentle or sweeter sort of story might not find this suits their needs – even though it’s not dwelled on too long, there is some serious history to Ryan revolving around abuse and pain that might not suit every reader’s tastes inside their erotic romance reading.

I found Ed, Kyle and Ryan were all interesting characters and while their interactions weren’t very traditional or straightforward there is plenty of threesome sex between them and loads of tension and chemistry that add well to the story and make it really stand out as different to my mind.

A little old-school and very hot and sexy, this is a good and solid short story that I feel should appeal to many readers looking for something harder and a little bit different.

He needs help getting his hoard organized, so a friend recommends a librarian.

Kelly and Dregan couldn’t be any more different, but neither man can deny the bizarre magnetic attraction between them. Dregan refuses to believe what it means, but that’s the least of his worries. What happens when Kelly discovers just what sort of man he’s working for?

Kelly likes his quiet life – warm and comfortable and filled with books, exactly how he wants it. When his best friend, Max, convinces Kelly to take a job cataloguing the library of his dreams, Kelly simply can’t resist. And after unknowingly drinking a love potion Max slipped him, Kelly is surprised when Dregan Stone’s books aren’t the only thing he can’t resist.

I really enjoyed this short story. Kelly and Dregan were fun and interesting characters I felt connected to very quickly. Kelly is a fairly typical human guy, and while Dregan (much as his name suggests) is a dragon-shifter he’s still a book-obsessed, family and clan-orientated independent guy who I could easily see myself chatting to over a hot cup of tea. Despite the short length of the story I was pleased the author spent a bit of time in the beginning allowing us as readers to see a bit of Dregan and Kelly’s personalities by themselves as they slowly interacted with one another. This helped the romance between them firstly feel more realistic, but also allowed me as a reader see that this wasn’t just a potion-fueled lust thing – or worse, something fake or temporary. I could see how Dregan and Kelly meshed together as people and how they shared a number of interests together.

I’m not sure if the author meant to give this story a hint of “Beauty and the Best” to it. It very well just could be me – and that ginormous library – but there were a few points where I wondered if the author was subtly giving a nod to the Beast in particular. I was a little surprised how quickly Kelly accepted Dregan and all the paranormal secrets revolving around him. Considering the short length of the story I fully appreciate how going back and forth between disbelief or denial might have eaten too much into the story, but I couldn’t help but feel Kelly was just a shade too accepting and unsurprised by some pretty huge paranormal aspects to Dregan and his world.

With two very interesting characters, a library to drool over and some fun and sexy romance between the two men overall I found this to be a light and enjoyable, quick read. I found the author’s voice mostly realistic and can easily see myself enjoying this quick read again in the future.

When Logan gets the call about newborn triplets in need of a home, he steps up, realizing too late the daunting task he’s taken on. He’d be lost without the men of the Teddy Bear Club—especially Dirk.

Dirk even offers to spend spring break at Logan’s home, helping him and the babies settle in. He loves being a dad, and he wants to help Logan find the same joy. It doesn’t hurt that they enjoy spending time together.

Before they even realize it, they’re settling into a routine… becoming a family.

But their new bond is about to face the ultimate test. Will they come through and realize that with love, there’s no such thing as enough?

After Logan begins to foster triples he relies more heavily than ever on the supportive men of the Teddy Bear club – particularly Dirk. And while the triplets and Logan’s own young daughter are utterly amazing, his usually sane life has been utterly turned inside-out and it’s only with the growing love between Logan and Dirk that he can try to get through these new changes as best he can.

I found this to be a warm and light-hearted full length story. I adored the normal-ness of all the men in the Teddy bear club and how supportive and good hearted they all were. And while I thoroughly enjoy an alpha-male story as much as the next person, the fact these men were all caring and loving in no way made them feel less masculine to me. I really feel the author did an amazing job getting this balance right as far too often books tend to schism their characters to either side of the extreme – far too alpha or far too submissive/beta. Indeed, I feel this would be an exceptional story to suggest to readers new to the M/M genre. I found Dirk, Logan and the other characters completely relatable and empathetic. I could easily imagine sitting in a café overhearing some of their conversations or bumping into them at the local grocery store. This story is extremely realistic and I loved that.

Admittedly, fostering newborn triplet babies might be a little bit of a stretch in the whole realistic aspect of the story – but again so much of the trials, tribulations and craziness surrounding having to set up, and then care 24/7 for multiple newborn babies really hit the mark for me. The endless lists of things that need to be purchased and organized, the insane sleeping/feeding/eating/cleaning schedule, just the sheer overwhelming feeling of being responsible for a tiny little human being – I feel all these aspects of the story were thoroughly covered with good taste and a dash of humour that many readers should find as appealing as I did.

I loved how the romance blossoming between Logan and Dirk was slow-paced and easy going. In such a heavily family and child orientated story I think it might have come across a bit oddly to me had Logan and Dirk jumped right in immediately with a hot-and-heavy erotic romance, so the slower paced burn really fit well and suited the story to my mind.

I also was pleased that there was very little in the story related to narrow-minded people and the bigotry that so often goes hand in hand with homosexuals fostering children. While the author didn’t ignore that aspect of the real world, neither was it dwelled upon too much. I can understand this might not appeal to all readers, but personally I was pleased for it. There is so much ugliness currently in our world while I don’t expect it to not effect our fiction, sometimes I really do just want to escape to a happier, healthier landscape and this story was a delight in this manner.

Fun and colourful, full of realistic and appealing characters, I really enjoyed this story and can strongly recommend it.

This is what happens with Arryn. With a war on her doorstep, she is doing the best she can. Not only is she a healer, but an engineer too. When she treats one of the Triad, she comes to their attention, which only makes her want more – which is a dangerous thing.

This was a fast, fun, and steamy read. There was enough background information for me to know what was going on, and why, whilst not overpowering the story itself. Arryn is a great character, with the Triad not far behind her. I’m glad she didn’t have to choose! Arryn is no shrinking violet – once she is sure of where she stands.

This is the first book by this author I have read, and it has definitely left me wanting more. Absolutely recommended by me.

So many different things with this book – and I loved every one of them! One of our main males has a thyroid problem, and is a big man even though he is fit and eats healthily. To be inside his head when he hears derogatory comments is heartbreaking. And then, to hear how he feels when his mates boost his self-esteem with truth and love, is the complete opposite. Our other two main males are both Owl Shifters! Too often we get wolves, or big cats, or bears. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love all of them, but there was something so refreshing to read about owls, and it was exceptionally written too.

All three of our main characters are individuals. They can stand alone and be individuals. There is no blurring of the lines between these three. A softening, maybe, at the end, but definitely no blurring. All of the characters are well-written, whether you like or loathe them. Even one who is on the ‘wrong’ side, has her reasons, which are completely understandable.

Although this book is classed as book thirteen in the series, it is the first one I have read. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and didn’t find it confusing at all as this story concentrates on these characters. There were no editing or grammatical errors I noticed, and it had a great flow to the story, keeping the suspense when needed, plus allowing for some sexy times too.

A great story, fantastic characters, and a world I want to visit again. Definitely recommended by me.

With nowhere else to turn, he must rely on his childhood best friend. But can Johnny trust him? With time running out and the world against him, Johnny must solve the mystery himself if he wants to survive.

Jacob and Johnny have been best friends since they were small children. When Johnny breaks up with a powerful and mysterious man, life-threatening “accidents” start to occur around him. Johnny turns to Jacob, feeling him to be the only man he can trust – but can they both survive what comes next?

I found this to be a very different, interesting style of book. The first few chapters were almost a summary of Johnny and Jacob’s lives growing up – with a chapter summarizing their younger years, then the second chapter giving a snapshot of their adolescence and the third chapter talked about their university days. So for a shorter-length story it felt a little different to me to have had Jacob and Johnny’s history delved into with such great detail. As a fresh and different approach to telling a story I found this style intriguing and definitely new-to-me. I do, however, feel it might be polarizing for readers – having most people either love the style or hate it.

The story is told in the first-person perspective from Johnny’s viewpoint, and I did feel it a little difficult to connect with Jacob’s character as I only really got to experience him through Johnny’s perspective. While the story unveiling from only Johnny’s perspective made him come across to me, personally, as a little selfish at times, when I got the hang of the style of the characters’ voice I did enjoy the whirlwind romance between Johnny and Lex – the crazily fast rise then subsequent crash and burn.

In many ways this interesting short story reminded me of a vintage-style of pulp-magazine story, fast paced and slightly over the top, but with enough realism and logic to make you stop and think every now and then. I admit that I did guess the twist that occurs at the end, but this didn’t detract at all from my enjoyment of the story as a whole.

I feel this would be a fun and quick read for those looking for something a little different and fresh – with good characters, some fast-paced action and a short length. Different and interesting, I’d be interested in reading more by this author.

I love every single character in this book; they are fun and hexcentric, yet they can solve two different crimes. Michael is the typical nerd; interpersonal skills are almost nil, and he feels nervous every time he talks to Jazz. Jazz is incredibly sweet to him; he knows Michael is special, and their attraction is immediate. Both dance around each other awkwardly and I can’t help but feel sorry for them, since it seems that every time they go out on a date, something happens to interrupt it. My favorite example is when they are going out to lunch and Michael’s grandfather invites himself to their table. If that wasn’t bad enough, they notice a group of gulls fighting over something and the object lands in Jazz and Michael’s guacamole. It turns out to be a finger.

Michael and Jazz clash a lot with the local sheriff, partly because he speaks about their relationship in a crass manner. It is rather amusing to see how the three act around each other.

Jazz is very supportive of Michael, and Michael still has a hard time believing that Jazz is not going to freak out about his work. He has been hurt several times because of this. A perfect example of Jazz’s compassion and love for Michael is when Mr. Pickles is catnapped. Michael loved that cat like he is a member of his family and finds it hard to go through his day. Jazz and Michael’s assistant Ezra look everywhere while Michael works. Yet when Michael plays his voicemail he learns that the drug runners have catnapped Mr. Pickles.

All three men are worried about the case, the clues and persons of interest are many and they are worried another body will turn up. Poor Jazz had to suffer a lot of suspicion because he is new to the town and he had a relationship with Russell and Dylan.

I had to laugh at how awkward Michael is at the beginning of their relationship and how Jazz tries to put him at ease. When they go on a date on the boardwalk, they play truth or dare to learn more about each other. One of the dares was for the two of them to get a picture of them as if they were on a book cover. Jazz suggested the bodice ripper which makes Michael blush.

The lust for each other is always with them. They both suffer erections at the worst of times and their minds come up with all sorts of kinky images. When they do make love, the fireworks between them surprises Jazz. He didn’t think Michael would be such a lion in bed.

I won’t give the ending away but is not what I expected, that is for sure. I hope there will be more books in this series. I love the characters and the plot is well developed. I want to see how their relationship develops, and maybe see if other characters find love along the way. It’s a fun and witty novel for those that like a little heat in their mystery.

But Aiden unleashes more than just dreams and the nightmares keeping James awake remind him exactly why he vowed to never submit to love again.

Unable to escape Aiden and his own desires, James has to decide whether a second chance at happiness might be worth the risk. And the pain.

James loved his work at a boarding kennel, finding peace and companionship with the dogs. But it’s a large, enthusiastic husky and his sexy blonde owner who James finds himself tongue-tied over lately. James is a bit intimidated by just how much he wants Aiden though, but soon their desire will outweigh their caution.

I found this to be a fun and surprisingly happy story. I wasn’t too certain on the coincidence of just how many aspects of Aiden and James’ lives intersected at the same time – virtually forcing the two men to confront their mutual feelings for each other – but it certainly helped move the plot along at a good pace. A part of me felt that their meeting and attraction at the kennel would have been enough incentive to get the two men together, and the charity writing event aspect to the plot was a little over the top. That said, I genuinely enjoyed what each part wove together and added to the story as a whole.

Readers who enjoy a slow build-up to their romance, with lots of chemistry and sexual tension, should find this story really suits their needs. I thought it was interesting the James and Aiden actually got to know each other online – not realizing it was each other that they spoke to – and this helped me as a reader really see and understand what their feelings were for the other and the complications they felt were in the way. I also thought this was a good way for the author to move through the awkwardness and anxiety Aiden and James felt in each other’s physical presence – a way for them to interact and express their feelings to the reader clearly without having holding back. I felt this helped keep the chemistry and sexual tension bubbling away nicely before they actually moved forward and started their relationship together physically.

After a few miscommunications when Aiden and James finally get together I feel the chemistry and sizzle of their intimacy is well worth the wait. Readers should be aware there’s a bit of kink and fetish/BDSM play though I didn’t find any of it too over the top for an erotic romance story.
