Sam and Bob are back, but this time Mikhail is the one who’s falling in love. I really love the way these stories are put together, and I recommend this series be read in order. I enjoy the way that it still predominantly features Sam and Bob from the first book but also focuses on secondary characters from previous books and allow their story to be told.
I loved Mikhail from the moment I met him the first time, he’s a unique mix of supernatural creatures but is always taking care of his friends. Jin won me over from the moment he appeared, he was full of action and definite passion for Mikhail.
This case was very interesting. It has an old style detective novel feel with a sci/fi paranormal twist. I enjoyed getting to discover a new aspect of this rich paranormal world. I highly recommend this story, and all its predecessors.
