Top Ten Tuesday: Fall Book Covers

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday.  This week’s topic is book covers with Fall colors or vibes.  When I think of Fall, I think of trees and the leaves changing color.  So, I browsed Goodreads for books with trees on them that gave off a Fall vibe.  Most of them ended up being classics!

The Poetry of Robert Frost by Robert Frost-I love how golden this cover looks and how the leaves are starting to change.

95819

Under the Greenwood Tree by Thomas Hardy-Again, the warm tones pull me in! (This has also been on my tbr for a long time.)

825901

The Outlaws of Sherwood by Robin McKinley-I like how the sun is shining through the leaves which are changing color.

802594

Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen-I wish I had this cover of Northanger Abbey!

398199

Far from the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy-While the leaves aren’t really changing in this one, I still feel like it is on the cusp of Fall. (This is another one on my tbr.)

Far from the Madding Crowd

The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy-Apparently I really like the cover designs for Thomas Hardy’s books!

The Return of the Native

The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte-Another golden scene.

The Tenant of Wildfell Hall

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Other Stories from the Sketch Book by Washington Irving-A very appropriate cover for Fall!

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Other Stories From the Sketch Book

The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper-The trees aren’t really the focus, but they are there and it does have a Fall vibe to me.

The Woodlanders by Thomas Hardy-Another Thomas Hardy cover!  It has a different style, but I still like it.
