There are so many amazing comfort reads out there to choose from!
Here are ten books I think fit the bill nicely, especially if you choose to reread them.

3. Bridget Jones’s Diary (Bridget Jones, #1) by Helen Fielding
4. The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
5. The Chronicles of Narnia (Chronicles of Narnia, #1-7) by C.S. Lewis
6. A Wrinkle in Time (Time Quintet, #1) by Madeleine L’Engle
7. All Creatures Great and Small / All Things Bright and Beautiful by James Herriot
8. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Oz, #1) by L. Frank Baum

Have a great week ?
Thank you very much!
Bridget made my comfort list this week, too! It’s such an old favourite.
Wasn’t it wonderful?
I could get lost and have in a number of the books and series.
That is wonderful!
I grew up reading James Herriot’s books and adored them! Great list.
Thank you. I’m glad you liked his books so much.
I love The Hobbit and I love that you have Goodnight Moon on your list. That makes me smile.
Heh, thanks. 🙂
The Hobbit., And Narnia. Yes yes. And Goodnight Moon! I love that book! 🙂
Yay! That’s awesome.
I just read Bridget Jones for the first time, this year. I loved it so very much. I’m obsessed with the movies but so glad that the book gave me similar vibes!!
Yes, they were both great! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed both of them. Have you read the sequel?
Great list! Bridget Jones’s Diary is definitely such a comfort re-read! (And I love the movie too, so that’s a comfort re-watch).
An interesting list. I love Bridget Jones!
Have a great week!

Thank you, Emily!
I’m glad to hear that. 🙂
I agree with so many of these. Great list.
Thank you!
A great list. I have read a few of them and heard of the rest.
That’s awesome. 🙂
I love nearly all of thise!!
Very cool! Thanks for stopping by.
I almost included Guernsey on my list and should have Narnia. Neither one fall into my typical genres, but I did thoroughly enjoy them. 🙂
It’s fun to branch out from your usual genres sometimes for sure.
Oh gosh, YES to Guernsey! That’s one of my favourite books and movies. I love it so much. Definitely fits the bill.
Wasn’t it wonderful? 🙂
Ah, yes, I get such comfort from A Wrinkle in Time!
Isn’t it wonderful? 🙂
The Oz stories are so wonderful and eclectic ?
Yes, they sure are!
Argh.. I still have a hard time to finishing Tolkien’s work ? Maybe I should try to read again from the beginning
I don’t want to give you unsolicited advice or anything, but I have found it a lot easier to “reread” Tolkien’s work if I listen to it in audiobook form instead.
I hope you enjoy Tolkien if you decide to give him another try!
Brilliant list. Except for #s 6 and 10, I have read all of those (and 6 is on my TBR pile). Good choices.
Thanks for visiting my TTT this week which is a little different.
Oh yes, completely agree about the Narnia books. I’ve re-read those so many times over the years. 🙂
These are amazing picks! I fully agree, particularly with Guernsey, Hobbit, Bridget Jones and All Creatures Great and Small (I’m always thrilled to find someone who has read these!).
