Now that I’ve teased my beautiful Renata’s mating bite from her, I can finally take her home and claim her like a Ximeran warrior should. Shifters are still being stolen from Earth, and I know we have to stop it, but it can wait until my mate is healthy and happy.
When I learn one of my own people is behind the disappearances, we believe we’ve ended the danger to the shifters. But someone takes Renata from under my very nose. My tiger is enraged, but not half as much as I am. And I’m going to find her – no matter what.
Renata has made it to Ximera; Rakon is adjusting to his tiger; and Fengar wants Renata on the council. It’s all good, right? Not quite, as there are still the missing shifters to find, plus sort out the council and see just how many have been corrupted by Harkon.
This is a series, and should be read as such, as this story follows on from where book one finished. I am more than happy with that, as I was able to jump straight back into Renata and Rakon’s world without feeling like I had missed something.
Although Renata’s life is changing, she is still more than ready to stand up for herself. I am hoping she does take a seat on the council! Not only would she ruffle some feathers, but she would also support the underdog (if needed).
Raisa Greywood is an author I am loving. This will be the third book of hers I have read, and I still want more. Her world-building is excellent, the characters are well-fleshed out, situations believable. All in all, I am loving this world, and this author’s work. Absolutely recommended by me.
