The book is a typical paranormal romance with an alpha that would do anything to protect his mate, though his mate being a human creates some problems. The major one being – will she stay with him in Alaska?

When Cassie sees Bastian, there is an instant attraction and an urge to be with him. The plot was simple and not overly complicated. The climax for me was the highlight.

The plot evolves quickly since it is a short book, but even in that short amount of time there was a solid story. It was not all sex.
