Yancey Peters is a methodical fact checker for a local newspaper who is dependable and responsible. Yancey was getting unwanted attention from another shopper and Diego jumped in to rescue her. Unbeknownst to them, a sinister stalker caused Diego to need to continually rescue Yancey from further mishaps, throwing them together in one situation after another. Even though Diego thinks his days of dating hot women are in the past because he feels that it’s time he settled down to start a family, he can’t resist what he thinks is one more fling.
Silk Stalkings was very enjoyable with its quick-paced storyline and likeable heroine and hero. Even though I had a very good idea who the stalker was, I still wanted to follow the story to the end to find out exactly how things turned out. Some very sexy moments in public places amp up the heat factor for a very hot read!
I highly recommend Silk Stalkings for a sizzling good read with some intrigue thrown in the mix. I am planning on looking for more stories from Ms. Scott since I enjoyed Silk Stalkings so much. I would love to run into someone like Diego anytime I need to be rescued! Maybe I should trade in my new car for a clunker that would more likely need to get towed!!!
