I saved her life once – now I own her.
Trust me, this isn’t what I wanted. Not that I mind a beautiful woman showing up at my door first thing in the morning. What I do mind is the baggage she’s carrying with her. My club tells me I have to press her for information. But I can’t get too close to her.
The problem? I get too close to her. I can’t help myself. It’s just my outlaw way. The second I realize I need to get away, I discover there’s a connection between me and her. A murderous connection that is rearing its ugly head into my present and into my future.
This wild fling is turning into something deeper… and Ava is about to learn the consequences of when you mess with an outlaw and his heart.
Hold onto your hat because Reaper’s Kiss is a hot one !
Reaper’s Kiss is my first time reading a Jaxson Kidman book. Now I am hooked like an addict because I absolutely adore his writing style. This exciting story was dark and gritty and sexy. I couldn’t get enough. I loved the main couple, Jace and Ava, who were so flipping hot together. Jace was the alpha bad boy boy biker who always put the club first until sweet innocent Ava came into his life. Ava’s father gets into some serious trouble and sends her into the Outlaw’s arms for protection. I really love these kinds of stories because they never fail to reel me in and captivate until the end. Ava and Jace were characters who both stood out and they had an intense sexual tension that was almost palpable. Good lord those sex scenes were unapologetically raw and smoking hot. The storyline easily captured my attention with a slowly developing suspense and unexpected turns that held my attention all the way through.
Overall, I absolutely loved this book and really hope that Jaxson Kidman will revisit the gritty world of the Bitter Aces sooner rather than later. When I get this far hooked on a series then I’m always anxiously waiting for the next one so I can fall in love all over again.
