Maximilian is a businessman, one who brought the family business back from the brink of death to the top. I did not expect him to let loose and be able go without work and business. I was wrong. Dead wrong! Their chemistry is buzzing and addictive.
Teresa, or Tess for friends and co-workers, except for her father, has tried to build up her career without the help from her father.
The book kept me on my toes. With every page, I fell for the characters. Both Maximilian and Tess are well developed and that bound me to the book every time I had to put it down. There was a lot going on with the plot and the story but because the book in novel length, it was ideal.
Play a Game With Me had a minor subplot of a romantic relationship that was very well incorporated without pushing attention away from the main plot. All the interesting secondary characters gave me a myriad of emotions, from anger to love to disbelief. I never thought about stopping until I finished the book.
The climax was action filled and if there was any anger around, the climax fixed that.
Got to tell you, I am going to have a book hangover over this one.
