Being cursed by the King of the Lake seems a bit harsh, especially when Minos was only doing his dirty work. But that is what happened and how Minos ends up without a voice. As for John, well, coming out of the closet is never easy, but especially not with homophobic bullies who masquerade as friends.

This is another novella with a fast pace, but this time, most of the story is there. I still wonder why Porthos treated him the way he did, and why the broken shell seemed so significant. There is enough around those points though, to give the reader a full story. I would love to hear more about John and Minos.

This was very well written with some very steamy scenes, designed to melt your Kindle. If you are looking for a quick, hot, read, then this is definitely one for you.
