This story is smokin’ hot!
I loved the heroine, Ally. She wasn’t given much of a choice–when her father made a bad decision with a mob boss, she became collateral. Ally didn’t think that she would like Mr. Red or enjoy the time she was forced to spend with him. But she did.
Mr. Red has a solid plot — a type I have read before but what makes this different is the characters and how it was written. This was a bit of a challenging book for me in regards to the character, Mr. Red. I never really got to connect with him, until the end of the book and that was sad. Why? Because then I didn’t want the story to end! I think this book would be great as a series where both points of view are presented. The climax was the best part of the book because I finally got to understand Mr. Red. There were moments when I thought one thing would happen, but then the author threw in plot twists that had me on my toes.
This is a great book for readers who want something shorter.
