Once again, Heather Rainier has written a sensual romance that is filled with emotions. This love story captured my interest right away.
I loved Violet’s story because I really felt that her character deserved someone who would adore her and heal her broken heart. She had moved to Divine looking for a fresh start after her heart was broken. She had absolutely zero interest in another menage relationship after her last one went so badly and left her with a broken heart and seriously damaged self esteem. Josh and Lucas were secretly in love with her already though after working with her for the past year. A few things happened to help push their relationship into motion. Violet finally said no to her ex-boyfriend’s booty call and Josh and Lucas took their own initiative.
I adored the steamy but playful writing in the plot. I have come to expect Heather Rainier’s writing style to be excellent, developed, and easily paced, and this novel was no exception. The characters were richly developed and ever so likeable. I loved the fantasy weekend and how sweet and protective Josh and Lucas were to Violet. As usual, smokin’ hot sexy times were had by all as the guys did their best to fulfill Violet’s sexual fantasies and to win her heart. I would like to clarify their sexual exploration included some very light BDSM. Also, there were quite a few lighthearted moments and an intriguing glimpse into Joseph whose story is coming up next. His character is so intimidating to say the least, and his lady love was awful cute, so that will be another fun and interesting story.
I really enjoyed this book ! It was a page scorching read like only Heather Rainier can write. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
