The book has a classic plot since Jaime is the distressed/submissive mate that needs saving and Franco is the protector. There were alternate time changes from present to past. It did give a better understanding with the story.

Jaime may be physically weak and may need Franco’s protection and strength but out of both of them Jaime is the most mentally strong one. Jaime was his to protect. But will he forgive Franco for leaving him? The author showed their relationship, at the best and worst and seeing them come out on top of all of this is the best feeling. It had a happy ending that is worth reading.
