Hot Ticket is Jace’s story in Olivia Cunning’s Sinners on Tour series, showing the inside of a rock band on tour. Ms. Cunning has a deliciously hot world, with rock heroes who each have a vulnerable side, and strong women who love them and can handle the problems inherent in a relationship with said heroes.

Sinners is on tour, and having the time of their lives, along with some very uncomfortable complications. At the bachelor party for lead singer Brian Sinclair, Jace Seymor, bassist for Sinners, newest member of the celebrated band, is captivated by one of the dancers at the club, Aggie Blake. Aggie plays the part of dominatrix in the club, and in real life as well, and Jace needs what she can provide: pain and lots of it. Before they can connect, however, a fight breaks out and the band has to leave. Jace returns as thing calm down, and Aggie gives him her business card and an appointment for the next night. Aggie had noticed him in the club, the man with the face of an innocent and a body made for sin, and although she isn’t looking for a man, he works his way into her life and into her heart. She wants to help him heal the many hurts inside, so he can stop punishing himself, and for the first time in her life, Aggie is willing to give up control to a man. And for the first time in his life, Jace is able to begin to open up and heal the rift in his soul. Can Aggie help Jace overcome the pain from his past? Can Jace convince Aggie to take a chance on him, with all of his baggage? Together can these two wounded souls forge a future with love?
I like this world, my guilty pleasure is rock music, the heavier the better, and the bands that play it. I enjoy these peeks behind the scenes that Ms. Cunning provides, and the intrigue of wondering if she based a specific character on someone real in the business.
Jace Seymor is the strong silent type, with wounds that go deep in his soul. With a tortured past, he needs the release that pain brings him, and feels he needs to be punished. When he meets Aggie, she is the first woman who accepts his kinky side and doesn’t tell him he’s sick for it. As he grows closer to Aggie, he begins to learn more about himself, and slowly is able to see that there are people that really care about him. I like Jace for his sensitive and sweet side, and enjoyed watching as he was able to show it more as he and Aggie grew together.
Aggie Blake has never felt the need for a man in her life, at least until Jace Seymor came along. Something about his blond hair, innocent face and hot body draws out her desires and shatters the walls she keeps up against the world. I like Aggie for her honesty and her no-hold-barred attitude toward life. She is strong and independent, and watching her as she learns that, with the right person, submitting doesn’t mean weakness. She has never had a man like Jace, able to take it all and still respect her as an individual. I liked watching as Jace surprised her, over and over, warming the heart she didn’t know she still had.
This is one of the hottest of the Sinners on Tour books yet, with Aggie and Jace pushing each other’s limits until they both discover just how strong they can be together. These two are not perfect, but they are perfect for each other, and I enjoyed some of the scenes in Aggie’s dungeon as they explored each other’s boundaries. The action, and the sex, is definitely not for the squeamish, and if you aren’t sure about BDSM, this is not the book to read. I do recommend that these be read in a certain order, to get the proper sequence of events from the tour as Ms. Cunning has let it unfold instead of treating this as a standalone read. But be warned, this has one hot rocker with the face of an angel and the body of a sinner, and the woman who whipped him into love.
Just WOW!
