I’m a sucker for Gracie Guy’s books. I’ve read others and haven’t been let down. This one is no different. I was sucked into the story from page one and couldn’t put it down. The writing flowed well and the characters were intriguing.

Kayleigh has some trust issues and she goes to Ireland to get away from her troubles. Now this isn’t your average girl running from her problems story. She’s not a flighty twenty-something. I liked she and the hero, Rory, were older. It made them more seasoned. Yes, she’s got issues, but she’s relatable. So is Rory. Plus, I could see him. I kind of pictured Colin Farrell as Rory. It made him so much yummier. I understood why he and Kayleigh were drawn to each other.

If you want a book that’s shorter, but long on emotion and heat, then this might be the book for you. Recommended.
